Dr. Watson watched for hours as he saw his plaything drift in and out of unconsciousness. He moaned and cried in his sleep. From things that he recognized that the gargoyle said in his sleep, he couldn't help but grin evilly from remembering some things that had been done to him previously.

He also felt Brooklyn's face to see how his temperature was. He was still warm, but the fever had gone down thanks to the medication. When he didn't wake up that first day, he left him alone so he could rest himself too. But he would be back in tomorrow morning.

The next morning, Brooklyn was still out of it, but Watson came in to sit with him again. "Come on. It's time to wake up, you devil!" he exclaimed. He wanted some more action from this creature. Then he glanced down at the bandaged belly. What fun it had been getting all the reactions from him just from his wounded stomach. But he wanted to do something else with him when he woke up.

Watson then glanced at Brooklyn's ears. How sensitive were they, really? He thought of using an ultrasonic device on him to test his hearing again.

"Oh… stop… please…" Brooklyn spoke in his sleep again.

"It's time to wake up, Red. Stop talking to yourself." Watson said.

Brooklyn was still out.

Hours later, Brooklyn finally woke up from unconsciousness. His vision was blurry at first. He just saw an ugly, gray room again. It was nearly sunset. He was still a bit disoriented.

When his vision focused and his head finally stopped spinning, he saw a human shape in his vision. He focused on the doctor. He gasped in fright and pushed away from him. "Stay away… from me!" he cried out in despair.

"Oh, but I had to be the first one you saw when you finally came out of your illness." Watson smirked. "You have been so much fun to toy with. And soon, it will be time for another one."

"I don't want- to do anymore tests! They are worthless!" Brooklyn exclaimed.

Watson glared and then pressed the button. Brooklyn saw the remote and the look in the man's eyes. His eyes widened and knew what that meant. "OH!" He cried out as he felt the shackle tighten on his stomach again. He clutched his poor belly, wincing in pain. He could feel some stinging beneath the shackle.

Beneath the shackle, some red began to show through, indicating that the wounds had opened up again. The pressure against the wounds was so tight this time.

Brooklyn just held his belly, trying hard to breathe. His chest heaved for breath. "Oh, stop it… please..." he pleaded.

"Those tests you spoke of do help find out results on you and your body anatomy and condition, and what you are capable of doing." Watson proclaimed.

Brooklyn knew what he was capable of, and right now, all he wanted was to kick this guy's butt. But he was in no condition to fight. He would need time to heal first. But he certainly wasn't going to heal here. He wanted Hudson still and to get out of here.

He had tried to not let these evil maniacs do this to him again, but they had managed to take his confidence away once more.

"Oh, and because we saw you throw up after we told you not to after we fed you, you will be getting a good punishment for that." Watson declared.

"You… poisoned me… didn't you? Again? There's no way… I would have been… in that much… pain by myself..." Brooklyn stated weakly and breathlessly.

"So what if we did. It wielded some good results from your reaction." Watson replied heartlessly. "Now, it's time for your punishment before your next test..."

Watson called in the guards and Brooklyn tried to pull away from them, but they held him down. Watson then pulled out the knife towards Brooklyn's face. He gasped and turned his head the other way, trying to avoid it.

When the man was sure the gargoyle wasn't going to fight, he then eyed some other part on his body.

Watson pulled a bandage out of the way on Brooklyn's belly. Brook grunted in response, not wanting his poor belly hurt again. He struggled, but the men held him steady.

The evil man then tightened his shackle again. Brooklyn bared his teeth in pain, whimpering. Then, he felt the sharp sting of pain as the sharp knife was sliced once again over his belly, drawing blood once again. This time though, there would be no stitches.

The bandages were pulled over it, and blood showed through the top of them. "And there is more to come." Watson grinned sinisterly.

Brooklyn still didn't want to do anymore of their 'fun', growling loudly. "G-Goliath won't let you get away w-with this!" He screamed, pulling against the guards. Watson fingered the knife before pushing it onto Brooklyn's stomach, making him yelp a bit.

"Silly gargoyle. Your Goliath won't come. So I think I will get away with it. Take him to his test," he ordered the guards, who unchained their prisoner, pulling him up.

Brooklyn was nervous about what was coming up next for him while they dragged him into another room that housed weird looking speakers. They kept his hands cuffed behind his back, leaving him breathing hard, eyes scared.

Watson spoke to him. "This was another test that I had wanted to try on you again, too, little prize. It starts very soon…"

Brooklyn bared his teeth, pulling on his restraints, knowing now what was coming when seeing the large speakers on the walls. That's when it started; high-pitched sonic sounds erupted on all sides, and he shouted, lowering his head and trying to block his ears by lowering them flat on his head. It hurt! He growled, pulling harder on the cuffs to cover his ears that were stinging and ringing from the terrible noises.

"Agh!" Brooklyn screamed, shaking his head and struggling to clear it. Now having been able to push back against the wall, his senses starting to feel weird, as well as his ear drums being ruptured rather painfully. He still remembered the last sound test, bringing back more terrible memories of that day.

Watson was talking again, but Brooklyn could barely make out what he was saying; his hearing was starting to act all weird, and he could hardly hear his own voice while screaming too. Tears came down from the idea of losing his hearing as he pushed against the wall, continuing to try and get his hands undone, shaking from pain in his ears. His eyes also glowed from the pain of it. He guessed the doctor wanted to test his sensitive hearing again like he did last time.

Watson smiled evilly at watching Brooklyn struggle, shaking his head and to pull free. He had loved the sound tests Thailog had done to Brooklyn in the past year, and just seeing how the red devil responded to all the sound waves again made his smile grow bigger. It was possible that the red monster would lose his hearing, if only temporarily. It would add to his punishment, anyway.

Brooklyn by now, had lost strength in his body to get loose, falling to the floor on his side, wincing from the fresh wounds from earlier, unable to hear his own cries thanks to the noises. His eyes rolled upward, heart thumping painfully, feeling as if it was gonna push through his ribcage from all this stress.

It got worse when the shackle began to squeeze him again, and he gasped greatly, struggling fitfully on the floor, his whole body tingling in agony from this terrible torture. He wanted it to end!

Stop… stop… Brook thought sluggishly, deciding not to speak since he couldn't even hear his own voice, the high pitched whistling stabbing into his hearing core, vision going out on him again…

….

Watson witnessed the gargoyle on the verge of passing out; he wouldn't let him. The test was over anyway, so he shut off the noises. Smirking, he and two other men went in to check on him.

….

Brooklyn whined pitifully, wondering why he still couldn't hear himself. The sounds were clearly off now, he was certain. He wished he passed out, though. It would have been a nice relief after what had passed.

His eyes rounded in fear as Watson came. Brooklyn could see his lips move, but no sound came out.

What did he do to me?! The Second thought in panic, sweating, as the guards got him to his feet. Watson placed a hand under Brooklyn's chin, and looked at his ears, speaking again. He even shouted into Brook's ears. But he still couldn't hear what the doctor was saying.

Brooklyn had a hard time accepting he was deaf, gasping repeatedly, and Watson ended up having the shackle constrict him again, making him buckle. He guessed it was punishment from not being able to respond to whatever question he was asking. Watson then pointed to the door, ordering the guards to take him back.

They dragged their toy into his room, chaining him up once again, and then finally taking his arms from behind his back that felt really sore. Brooklyn couldn't describe at how scared he was right now from that terrible hearing test, praying he wasn't deaf for good.

Watson knelt down close. "Not to fear, this hearing loss of yours my friend, is only temporary. In a day or two, you should be able to hear me again."

Brooklyn just stared at him blankly, eyes terrified, unable to comprehend his words at all, hence the hearing loss. Watson cackled. "Of course, you couldn't understand me, did you?" he leered. Tears fell down Brooklyn's face as he looked away in shame, tensing from how his clan would react to this.

"You will be able to hear for the next test we will have for you, so don't fret. Enjoy your time of rest until then. Thanks for the hearing results!" Watson then left him be, laughing madly.

Brooklyn sniffled, pulling to sit back against the wall, shaking terribly, ears feeling painful as well as his tummy. The only thing from reading Watson's lips he could understand was that he didn't lose his hearing forever, which comforted him a little. But still, he really wanted to go home now! He didn't want to be involved with this crazy doctor and his games anymore!

Help… me… Brooklyn ended up hiding his face in his legs and holding them, wincing from the pain from his stomach but ignored it, throat tightening, and crying quietly as Brooklyn did his best to rest his pain away.
