Goliath and Hudson had Xanatos call up Owen to tell him what had been going on and asked him to see Brooklyn.

Owen approached the distressed red gargoyle, who at first felt nervous about telling this trickster about his troubled thoughts.

"So what has been the trouble with you?" Owen asked. Brooklyn felt a bit shy now, unable to speak. Hudson helped start him off.

"The lad's been having echoes in his head, hearin' Thailog speaking bad words to him." Brooklyn then suddenly burst out.

"Please, I- I need your help. Thailog has been haunting me for too long. I need to be rid of him for good!" he pleaded. Owen gazed at him. This was something different for him; he never occasionally helped anybody in this situation unless if it was an emergency.

But then another thought emerged; another possible magic lesson for Alex after his tracking magic; a lesson on entering into the Dream Zone of somebody's mind.

He changed into Puck then. "Your pleading voice and pitiful gaze has gotten to me, Red One. So yes, I will help you," Puck stated. Brook grinned thankfully at him, but his heart thumped nervously.

"This should require us to use a magic serum, so we would need you to be placed onto your bed for you to be comfortable for it," Puck explained. Hudson nodded, taking the young one's hand comfortingly, since Brooklyn was shaking silently. He never did this before, and was terrified.

"Yeh will be alright, just be strong for us and you can beat him. Don't let Thailog mess with ya anymore," Hudson murmured, hugging Brooklyn comfortingly. Brook nodded, eyes moistened. Goliath put a hand on his shoulder, too.

"Good luck, my friend. We will be by your side for the whole thing," he told Brooklyn while Hudson led him to his room for it. Puck went to get Alex.

He lifted the child from his bassinet. "You got another lesson from Uncle Puck, Child. It will be your task to help heal Uncle Brooklyn's head."

Alex cooed, eyes shining. Of course the little child would want to help his Uncle Brooklyn get better. Puck took him to see Brooklyn.

Hudson laid Brook onto his bed. Angela and Elisa were nearby to ensure he was as comfortable as possible, but he was still shaking. Elisa knelt down near him.

"Are you okay?" Brooklyn looked at her with doubt and fear.

"What if- if it doesn't work?" He said quietly. Elisa rubbed his arm.

"You will get better, Brooklyn. Whatever happens, we still won't give up on you." She said in her motherly tone. Brook then smiled just a little, eventually giving Elisa another hug. She also gave him his blanket to hold onto. David and Fox both arrived with Puck and Alex. Goliath and the rest of the clan stood over on the other side of them.

David looked over to the red gargoyle, nodding at him and wishing good luck, Puck approached with the child.

Brooklyn glanced at Puck, the baby, and what they were going to have him do. He was so nervous about this. Did he have the strength to defeat Thailog for good? He was still barely recovered mentally from the trauma he had gone through.

Puck then took out a vial of blue liquid. "Here, this is a potion that will make your body relax. Then, we will send your mind to the Dream World where you will face what your worst nightmares are."

"I wish I would have some help coming with me." Brooklyn said.

"You must be strong, Brooklyn. Be that brave warrior that you always were before. Think of like how you always fight Demona when you see her." Lex tried to encourage him.

It did get a little smile out of the red male. Right now, he could giggle about it, but knew it was still serious business. Angela didn't take the thought personally. She knew Brooklyn needed an incentive to get his mentality in the proper place first before facing Thailog.

He took a few deep breaths and said, "Thanks. I think I'm ready."

"Brooklyn, before you go, from what I remember on a trip to the Dream World one time on my Quest, at the time in Australia, a shaman told me that in the Dream World, things are not always what they seem, but as you make them seem."

"What does that mean?" Brook asked.

"Do as you will to defeat Thailog." Goliath replied. "It will be your choice of how you do it."

He was still a little confused, but took the vial then and drank the potion. He felt it hit his stomach and he laid back, closing his eyes.

Hudson looked over him. "He's alive."

Puck then instructed Alex to use a spell to send Brooklyn's mind/spirit to the Dream World.

Brooklyn landed in the Dream Realm. It was like a ghostly place, with fog and darkness everywhere.

"Where am I?" he asked. "Oh, right, I'm in the Dream World. Now, to find Thailog."

Brooklyn began looking and walking around. It didn't take him long but to come upon another gargoyle. It was Thailog.

At first, he was startled to see the bigger cloned gargoyle again.

"Hello, Plaything. I've been wanting to see you again for a long time. I've always wanted to spend eternity with you." Thailog mocked him.

"I'm not dead, Thailog." Brooklyn retorted.

"No, I can sense that. But I can make you wish you were." Thailog exclaimed. "You got me killed!"

"You did that yourself! Xanatos did that to save me from your evil ways. He had no other choice."

"I am going to enjoy doing what I want with you before you have a chance to return to your body!" Thailog sneered.

Brooklyn growled. "That won't happen!" He shouted, charging at his hated rival, putting his brave face on. The two took each other on, until eventually Thailog pounced hard on him roughly, talons digging in. Brook cried out, doing his best to defend himself. The young second yelped when Thailog got the upper hand, punching him down to reveal his belly.

Thailog chuckled cruelly, suddenly putting his hand on Brooklyn's exposed stomach to caress it.

"I grew strong enough off of your fears to finally be able to touch you again. Perhaps, I can even have my mark be placed onto your weak little stomach... oh, that would be so lovely..." Thailog purred in a devil voice, tracing a talon along it.

"No!" Gasped Brooklyn under Thailog's touch, being reminded of how he was still mentally weak. "Yes, little toy..." crooned the dark clone, about to touch Brook's cheek. The second cried out in defiance, new found strength arising, kicking Thailog in the chest, knocking him back.

"Get away from me!" He screeched, getting to his feet, turning to run.

Thailog just laughed and charged at him.

Brooklyn ran. He took to the air and Thailog followed. Then Puck appeared next to Brooklyn.

"Remember, Brooklyn, use your imagination and you can use what your mind can dream up here to beat him." Puck declared.

Then, Brooklyn remembered how he was constantly called Demon and Devil. That got him thinking. He turned and charged back at Thailog. The clone wasn't surprised, but he took on the red one as he collided with him.

Their clawed hands met one another, eyes glowing and growling. "You will stay the hell out of my head!" Brooklyn growled angrily.

"You're just a weak one. You can't fight me. Whatever you do, Brooklyn, you will still always be nothing but my Plaything." Thailog retorted.

"No, I'm not! I will not let you torment me anymore!" Brooklyn then imagined himself as a big, red dragon and he turned into one, eyes glowing brighter than they ever did before. Thailog was shocked at that.

"This ends here, you Forgery!" Brooklyn growled and blew fire that he knew dragons did at least in the movies.

The fire got Thailog and he screamed in pain. He disappeared.

Then, moments later, Brooklyn turned back to his normal self, sighing in a bit from relief, feeling victorious over his long time enemy.

"Well done, Red One." Puck said. "Are you ready to come back now?"

"Yes. I don't want to be here any longer." Brooklyn said. Then he and Puck vanished.

….

Brooklyn's eyes started to open up, vision a little fuzzy at first. "Brooklyn, are ye alright, Lad?" He heard Hudson's voice. He nodded weakly, smiling a little.

"Yeah."

"Did you beat him?" Lex asked. "How are you feeling?"

"Woozy. Yes, I beat him. I just truly hope I beat him for good." Brook replied.

"How did you do it?" Broadway asked.

"I turned myself into a dragon and burned him away. He disappeared. I really pray that he won't haunt me anymore. Just thinking about being called Devil and Demon a lot burned my mind so much that it helped me to turn into the dragon." Brooklyn explained.

"Well, you had to do it in any way possible. I am proud of you, Brooklyn." Goliath said with a smile.

"We all are. We hope you'll start to feel much better now." Elisa stated.

Suddenly, a wave of dizziness washed over Brooklyn and he groaned. He also felt a little wave of nausea too.

"What's wrong?" Angela asked in concern.

"I don't feel so good." Brook admitted.

"The potion is likely to cause that. Here, now that you have done what you needed to do, it would be best if you just laid down and took a nap. You need to sleep off these effects. You'll likely feel better by tomorrow night." Owen explained. He had changed back from Puck again.

Brooklyn wasn't going to fight it. He laid back and was asleep within minutes. It had been exhausting for all this. The clan left him to rest except the elder who wished to remain. Hudson smiled proudly down at the young one, rubbing his hand. He hoped now that Brooklyn would have better dreams now that his abuser was gone, and would finally have peace.
