Third Person P.O.V:
Eleven year old Isabella Potter found herself sitting at the large bay like window in her adoptive family's home reading. It was a normal day, except she had turned eleven that day and she couldn't help but think that something strange was about to happen, more so because her adoptive parents had moved not only Bella herself but her adoptive brothers Beau and Cole who were thirteen and fourteen respectively to a leafy suburb of London just this summer and they had been talking in hushed tones whenever Bella was around.
For as long as she could remember she knew that she had been taken in by Charlie and Renee Swan. Bella looked nothing like her adopted parents. While her adoptive mother Renee had dark dirty blonde hair and blue eyes and her adoptive father Charlie had dark brown hair and brown eyes, Bella had green eyes with brown flecks and dark auburn hair which suddenly changed to different colours whenever her emotions got the better of her.
"Bella?" Cole, the oldest of her adoptive brothers, questioned as he opened Bella's bedroom door after knocking. "There's someone here to see you. Their in the living room with mom and dad."
"Aren't you coming?" Bella asked, turning to look at Cole as he moved to sit on her bed nervously while Beau did the same.
"No mom and dad said we had to stay up here because the person needs to talk to you about your parents." Cole said, looking down as Bella became upset and her auburn hair started to visibly turn grey.
Nodding, Bella nervously walked downstairs, trying to get her hair to turn back to auburn with no effect.
"Renee? Charlie?" Bella questioned, grabbing a strand of her grey hair as she scrunched up her nose and willed her hair to turn auburn but managed to turn it a bright hot pink before turning back to its natural auburn and causing someone who was sitting on the sofa to gasp in shock.
"Isabella!" Renee gasped, shocked that her adopted daughters hair had turned two different colours before turning to its natural colour.
"Don't call me Isabella." Bella growled out, her hair turning a bright vivid red that resembled the red of a fire truck before turning back to its natural auburn again. "Now what's so important that Cole and Beau aren't here?"
"Miss Isabella Potter." A woman's voice said from the sofa, causing Bella to jump and turn around quickly with a glare as her hair turned firetruck red again. "I'm sorry, Bella."
"What the hell?" Bella almost shouted at the woman in bottle green robes. "Who are you?"
"My name is professor McGonagall and I am the transfiguration teacher and head of Gryffindor house at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." The woman, professor McGonagall Bella reminded herself, said and she listened closely as McGonagall explained to Bella that she was a witch, but was also a metamorphmagus and half Veela as well as what the four houses at Hogwarts were and that her parents were both Gryffindor's as well as the fact that she had a twin brother.
"I have a twin brother?" Bella questioned when McGonagall explained that he would be starting at Hogwarts at the same time as Bella who promptly turn to both Renee and Charlie. "Can I go? Please."
"Sure sweetie. But remember to write to us once you get there." Renee said, McGonagall having explained that if Renee and Charlie agreed to Bella going to Hogwarts that a family from the wizarding world, the Weasley family, would gladly house Bella for the remainder of the holidays and take Bella to the correct train platform so the school train could take Bella to school in September first.
"Sure." Bella said, happily turning to McGonagall as her hair turned a bright hot pink. "Where are we going first?"
"First, you need to pack, then I'll send your belongings to the Weasley family home and we'll go and get your school supplies from Diagon Alley." McGonagall said, smiling at Bella who reminded her so much of her father and mother.
Bella's P.O.V:
Bella couldn't believe it as she looked around Diagon Alley. She was a witch. An actual wand waving spell casting witch. Just like her parents had been. She even had a twin brother who she would meet that afternoon when she went to meet a family from the wizarding world who's youngest son would be starting Hogwarts in September as well.
"We'll go to Gringotts first, then we'll get your wand, books and school robes and you can have an animal of your choice, so either a toad, a cat or an owl, whichever you desire." McGonagall said, leading Bella towards a tall imposing building at the end of the street.
"Come along, Miss Potter." McGonagall said, ushering a pink haired Bella into the bank and towards what appeared to be a goblin that was a couple of inches shorter than Bella.
"Did she say Potter?" Bella heard a someone around her age whisper. "Is that Isabella Potter?"
"She's beautiful." Bella heard a blonde haired boy say to two other boys their age as they watched Bella's waist length hair turn from pink to a dark blue then green with silver streaks in her embarrassment. "Really beautiful."
Ignoring this, Bella followed both McGonagall and the goblin named Griphook, who was in charge of hers and her brothers vault, towards where the vaults were, barely noticing what was going on around her.
"Here you go Miss Potter. 600 Galleons, 17 sickles and 29 knuts." The goblin said, shocking Bella who had been looking around in shock. "That should do for the school year."
"Th-Thanks." Bella stuttered, grabbing the money bag off the goblin and following both him and McGonagall back to the cart that had bought them to Bella's vault.
Bella was quiet as she followed McGonagall to Ollivander's wand shop thirty minutes later. Even more so when they entered and Ollivander himself appeared out of nowhere. She was quiet because the goblin who had taken her to her family's vault had also given her a letter, written by her parents, but only to be opened when she was in the presence of her twin.
"I've been expecting you, Miss Potter." The old man exclaimed as he stepped off the ladder he was standing on and walked towards her as a magical tape measure started to measure her arm. "Your father had an 11 inch wand with a mahogany wood and dragon heartstring while your mother had an 10 1/4 inch wand with Willow wood and unicorn hair. You, yourself, will be difficult to find a wand for. A metamorphmagus and half Veela. Now let's see, 9 inches, Willow, and a dragon heartstring."
Grabbing the wand, and feeling rather foolish, Bella waved the wand before Ollivander grabbed the wand off her as a shelf full of boxed up wands fell onto the floor.
"How about this. 10 and a half inches, Willow, with Veela hair and unicorn hair. Unusual, more so since my father made this and only ever used Veela hair this once because it makes for temperamental wands." Ollivander said, handing Bella the wand which automatically warmed up in her hand and a shower of red and gold stars erupted from the wand. "Bravo, Miss Potter. I believe that you will make an outstanding witch. One, I believe, who will excel in not only Charms, but in Transfiguration and Defence Against the Dark Arts as well."
Third Person's P.O.V:
Over the two hours, Bella became more relaxed and Professor McGonagall smiled as she watched Bella nervously change her hair colour from what was clearly it's natural auburn to a bright hot pink to what McGonagall knew to be Slytherin colours of emerald green and silver as they appeared in just outside of the Weasley's family home, The Burrow.
"Hello Minerva." Mrs Weasley said, smiling at the professor as Bella stood quietly next to her. "This must be Isabella."
"Don't call me Isabella." Bella growled out, her hair turning a bright vivid red as she jumped slightly as someone appeared behind her with a pop.
"Sorry I'm late, Molly." A male voice said, walking towards the trio and standing to the right of Professor McGonagall. "Hello Minerva. This must be Isabella Potter."
"Yes. Miss Potter prefers Bella, though." Minerva said, turning to face Bella as she scrunched her nose and made her hair turn back to bright emerald green with silver streaks. "Bella, this is Molly and Arthur Weasley. You will be staying with them for the remainder of the holidays. Mrs Weasley will escort you to platform nine and three quarters on September the first so you can get the train to Hogwarts."
"Hi." Bella said nervously and grabbing the cage belonging to her owl Midnight just a little tighter as she watched McGonagall leave so she could meet with a man named Hagrid at her aunt and uncles house and take the boy who was her twin brother to Diagon Alley before bringing him to the Weasley's.
"Hello dear." Mrs Weasley said, showing Bella into the living room and explaining that she would be sharing a room with her brother once he arrived.
Sitting down Bella grabbed her backpack and took out her copy of Magical Drafts and Potions by Arsenius Jigger and started reading, ignoring the two tall red headed person who just walked into the living room and looked at her confused as her hair changed from green and silver to a bright hot pink.
"Mum, who's this?" The male voice startled Bella, causing her to jump and automatically change her hair colour to a bright electric blue in her embarrassment as she looked at the identical twins.
"Oh, Fred, George, this is Bella. Bella Potter. She's going to Hogwarts this year." Mrs Weasley said, rushing into the living room and smiling slightly as Bella changed her hair colour to a bright hot pink with a scrunch of her nose.
