"I admit, I never saw you as a father type. An angry uncle or a cool family friend, sure. But you as a dad never crossed my mind" Naruto teased as he sat on the grass, Kuruma nested firmly on his head and unwilling to budge despite his efforts to get her off.

"Just one of the many facts that you humans failed to comprehend about me. But seeing as I'm as forgiving as I'm powerful, I forgive you for your limited view" Kurama's deep voice rumbled as he lay on the floor, his head on Naruto's lap. "Now get out, I need to sleep. Playing with the little one is tiring and there is someth ing out there in the house that needs your attention" he said before closing his eyes and going to sleep.

Upon hearing that there was something in the house, Naruto visibly paled and disappeared from the mindscape leaving a sleeping Kurama and a very confused Kuruma who looked around for the blonde nest that she had been resting on. Unable to find it, she climbed her father's back and turned around on it before settling down and closing her eyes, sinking into the realm of sleep. A blue eye and a purple ringed eye snapped open in alert as Naruto slowly slid his arms from around his daughter and got up from the bed. Making a single handseal, a clone popped into existence and took his place next to Yumi while the original made his way out of the room, kunai in his right hand and his left hand tracing the wall and pouring chakra into the wall and by proxy the gem that had made the lighthouse its body and home. When he first moved in, he sensed the presence in the lighthouse and after tracking it down, he made a deal with it; in exchange for warding off, capturing and/or killing any intruders that made their way into the house, he would feed it a constant supply of chakra, provide the raw materials required to facilitate the creation of a new body for her and the two of them shared the lighthouse. Feeling the surge of chakra, the gem woke up and responded immediately to the intruders all around the house.

With a heave and groan, the walls and floor boards writhed and detached from each other before slithering across the halls and creeping up the stairs leading to the giant light above while some slithered down the stairs leading to the basement and training rooms underground that he had the clones dig out the first day he moved in. While all this was going on, Naruto made his way to the kitchen where he sensed the greatest disturbance among the others in the house. It was obvious that this one had to be dealt with personally and had nothing to do with the fact that cups of his precious ramen were sitting on the counter because he had been too lazy to pack them up; nothing to do with that at all. He crept into the kitchen with the kunai in hand, his eyes locked onto the figure that had emptied twenty cups of his divine ramen into a giant pot and was eating with great gusto. Tapping the wall with a chakra coated finger, the planks on the floor raised up and wrapped around the figure holding it in place as the lights came on revealing the ramen eater; it was a female figure who stood at a height of 5'4 and had pink skin of all things. She wore a plum-colored top, a pair of dark blue jeans and sneakers and in the center of her chest was a black spade-shaped gem and her cerise hair which was packed in pigtails waved around as she struggled. Her magenta eyes darted around in fright as she struggled to free her arms and feet from her wooden bindings while she kept chewing and swallowing the ramen. Laying her eyes on his figure, the trapped gem increased her struggle, her limbs thinning out and stretching towards him while she still furiously slurped the ramen from the pot.

Dodging the limbs with ease, Naruto watched as wooden tendrils erupted from the floor and enveloped the limbs in blocks of wood causing then to fall to the floor due to the additional weight while more wood wrapped her main body, encasing her in a wooden coffin. "Alright, I have a couple of questions and you're going to answer as best as you can. Okay?" Naruto said as he pressed a kunai on her neck with a bit of pressure, causing a trickle of blood to run down the blade and fear to appear in her eyes while her body stilled itself out of fear. Swallowing the last bit of ramen, she cleared her throat and carefully nodded, careful to make sure that the blade didn't dig deeper into her neck and cause her to poof. Seeing her nod, he took the blade away from her neck and began the interrogation; "What's your name?"

"Spinel, and I must say that this is a real kinky setup you got here" she answered and teased, her eyes never straying from the kunai that rested in his hand, her spilled blood shining ominously in the kitchen light, serving as a reminder of who was in charge. Seeing that she was willing to cooperate, Naruto continued pressing for information; "Why are you here?"

"We came here to ask you to join our group"

"Group?" he asked while twirling the kunai in his hand, genuinely intrigued by what she had to say.

"I and my comrades emerged roughly twelve thousand years ago on separate planets and after a few centuries of roaming our respective worlds, Homeworld found us and took us in. I spent the next two thousand years exploring and colonizing new worlds alongside other gems, mostly serving as an entertainer for a high-ranking gem until we got attacked on one of the worlds while we were setting up some equipment on. All the other gems got shattered, but I managed to survive and spent some time alone on that planet until a retrieval team showed up and rescued me. That's where I met Jasper and the others for the first time. Once we got back, I immediately got myself transferred to their squad"

"So what does that have to do with our current situation" Naruto said with a hint of impatience in his voice. The house let out a groan and a light shudder travelled through it, but he ignored it as he focused on Spinel.

"I was getting there" she said with a roll of her eyes "It's called setting the mood. Geez, killjoy" she said before clearing her throat and continuing with her recollection. "We spent the next few centuries exploring new worlds and rescuing gems in need until the rebellion took place." She stopped talking for a moment as memories of the war surfaced and her eyes glazed over as she relived the war over again in her head. Shaking her head to clear the memories from her head, she continued; "I and the others refused to take a side in the war and instead focused on saving as many stranded gems as we could while shattering the cracked gems and other gems that were seen as abominations. Eventually we defected from Homeworld and decided to find a planet to stay on where we could live our lives free from the grasps of Homeworld and away from the rebels, helping whoever we could and ending whoever crossed our paths. But no matter who we helped and no matter how many more gems we shattered; they wouldn't let us be. We fled and crashed here twenty years ago and we've been laying low ever since. That is until we felt an energy surge unlike anything we've ever felt come from this side of the world around two months ago. So we hauled ass over here in order to invite you to join us" she finished off while her eyes stared longingly at the now empty pot of ramen.

"And what exactly is it that your group does?" he asked, genuinely interested "And why should I join you?"

"Well we were originally a retrieval group, then got upgraded to an annihilation squad. Now we're a group dedicated to remaining neutral and living the remainder of our lives to the fullest, away from the influence of Homeworld and the rebels"

"And what if I said no?" Naruto asked, his hand gripping the kunai tighter in preparation for what he had to do incase she gave an answer he didn't like.

"Then we would have hightailed it out of here and watched you from the distance incase you were with Homeworld" she answered honestly while the house heaved and groaned louder, this time accompanied by angry screams and a few choice curse words.

"A friend of yours?" he asked, pointing to the everchanging hallways.

"Yeah, that's probably Jasper" Spinel answered before shooting a question at him that had been on the back of her mind "Hey do you have any more of that noodle stuff?"

"Yes. It's called ramen and I'll make more for you as soon as we get this situation under control" he said before tapping the wooden prison around her. The wood retreated back into the floor, releasing Spinel back onto the floor. Placing his hand on the wall, he sent chakra into the house while sending a mental command for the house to release the intruders into one of the training grounds below and take him and Spinel down to meet them. Complying with the command, the house twisted and shifted as it deposited the invaders into one of the many training grounds below. Once all the invaders were down below, a hole opened below Naruto and Spinel sending them down to meet them.

There were currently six training grounds that existed below the lighthouse, each one a testament to Naruto's control over his jutsus and knowledge of fuinjutsu. He used an earth jutsu to carve out small rooms in the earth and then made use of space-time fuinjutsu to extend the rooms on the inside while keeping their size on the outside, thus making sure that he didn't accidentally dig too deep and unleash whatever was underneath the weird temple house thing beneath the hill. He also made use of several reinforcement seals to make sure that the rooms could keep up with his training while keeping in any noise or tremors he caused.

Landing on the floor of the training ground that all the invading gems had been dumped into, his senses began to scream at him to move which he obeyed without hesitation. Vanishing with a body flicker, he reappeared several meters away and watched as a wave of sand smashed into his previous location. Stunned by what he just saw, he turned his eyes to the source of the sands, a single blue eye meeting a pair of teal eyes, one of which was slightly covered by red hair. Recognition flashed in Naruto's eye as a single name appeared in his head; the name of a redhead and a fellow jinchuriki like he was.

And that's a wrap. I'm sorry for the incredibly short length of this chapter, but as I said before, I'm currently working on several original stories for an ongoing series. Below are two of them. Please feel free to tell me what you think about them.

Hella Autumn Chapter 1

"In all honesty" Hella thought to herself as she hid inside the abandoned building, "I really shouldn't have picked up that glowing object," her thoughts were interrupted as something crashed into the building eliciting a scream from her which echoed throughout the abandoned warehouse. The scream was followed by a silence that rather than sent fear coursing her. Putting her hands over her mouth to block any other noise that she might make as her heart pounded in her chest, she strained her ears to either hear the footsteps of the creature or any other thing that would give away the location of the monster that had been chasing her.

After complete silence for several minutes, Hella emerged from her hiding spot after deeming it safe to come out. As she slowly crept away, she felt something drip on her left shoulder before it started to burn through her jacket before it got to her skin. Letting out a yelp of pain, she hurriedly took off the jacket and threw it on the floor, revealing the dark grey undershirt she had on. Throwing the jacket on the floor, she wondered what exactly the liquid was before realization dawned on her as she heard a growl above her.

Not even bothering to look up, she threw herself to the left as something crashed into her previous location, sending a spiderweb of cracks across the warehouse floor. Rolling across the floor away from the danger, Hella didn't bother to look at whatever was trying to kill her as she sprinted towards the exit. Hearing a roar of rage from behind her, she increased her speed as the distance between her and the exit grew smaller, a look of relief appearing on her face as thoughts about escape filled her head.

However, the look on her face faded and was replaced with one of disbelief, fear and pain as the monster's claws raked across her back, sending Hela flying into the air towards the exit and spraying her blood into the air. Crashing on the floor a few feet away from the door on her stomach, she coughed up a mouthful of blood as the warehouse was filled with the creature's roar of triumph as she tried to crawl towards the door. "Damn it!!!" she shouted as her body began to give out on her "This isn't how it was supposed to be!!" she screamed out as she bled out on the concrete floor. "No, not like this" she whimpered as she felt the creature's predatory gaze on her before darkness claimed her.

Seeing its prey on the floor and unresponsive, the monster licked its lips in anticipation as it cautiously approached her unconscious and bleeding body, saliva running down its elongated jaw and leaving scorch marks on the floor wherever they landed. Stepping into the moonlight streaming in from one of the warehouse windows, the creature's appearance was finally revealed; it looked like a wolf with grey fur, black eyes and green slits for pupils. It stood at two meters tall and a length of seven meters from snout to stinger with several parts of its back was covered with pieces of thick bleach white bones which had grown over its skin and served as rudimentary armor while its limbs were covered with spiked bones and a set of serrated claws poked out of its paws. Its scorpion like tail curved above its body, the transparent venom sack above the stinger glowing with a purple hue as the liquid inside bubbled violently, and the curved serrated stinger gleamed in the moonlight.

Seeing that its prey was completely unresponsive and bleeding, the creature leapt towards Hella, its bloodstained claws ready to shred its prey and obtain what was inside her. The monster was so focused on the prospect of sinking its teeth into Hella's body that it didn't notice the newcomer standing at the door until it was too late. Reaching inside its trench coat, the figure produced a 500 S magnum revolver from the coat and took aim at the creature as it flew towards Hella.

The sound of gunshot filled the air and a dim flash lit up the dark warehouse as a bullet slammed into the monster's forehead, spraying bone fragments and brain matter everywhere. The dead creature fell to the floor a few feet away from Hella's unconscious body. "Well that was anticlimactic" the figure said before blowing the smoke wafting out of the gun barrel and pocketing the weapon in the holster strapped at the waist. The person walked over to Hella's unconscious and bleeding body "So this is the target? Disappointing, but orders are orders" they said to himself before noticing the slowly growing puddle of blood under Hella, "I hate her already" the figure said as their hands gave off a soft green glow

Squatting next to her, the figure placed their hands on Hella's back and watched in boredom as the wounds on her back began to knit themselves together. Soon the wounds were gone and in their place were five permanent claw marks. Seeing that the wounds on her back were gone, the figure flipped Hella over and placed its hands on her now discolored shoulder. It watched as several black veins spread out from the spot on her shoulder where the beast's saliva had touched her and were slowly making their way towards her heart. "She got poisoned as well?" the figure grumbled before the green glow enveloped its hands once more as it placed its hands on her stomach and moved them in a circular motion, watching as the black veins changed their course and moved towards the area of her body that its hands were over, forming a black spot. Moving it hands upwards towards her mouth, the black spot followed eagerly until it leaked out of her mouth in the form of a thick black liquid.

Seeing that the girl was okay, the figure walked towards the dead monster and squatted next to it. Taking out a dagger, it cut open the bottom of the beast's and began to rummage around for a while before extracting a small sack which was filled with a clear liquid. Taking out a jar from inside its trench coat, it carefully placed the sack inside and screwed the lid tight before cutting open the creature's stomach and rummaging around for something. "This one is still a baby; it hasn't yet developed" the figure thought to itself before moving on to its tail; the stinger to be exact. Carefully taking apart the tail, the figure managed to separate the venom sack and stinger from the main tail before laying it down on the floor. "This won't fit in a jar" the thought ran through the person's head before they let out a sigh of frustration. Clenching right hand to form a fist, the figure aimed at the stinger and watched as the space around it distorted before the item disappeared into the ring on their hand.

Snapping its fingers, it created a blue spark that engulfed the creature's body in azure flames, filling the warehouse with the stench of burning flesh. The figure watched the flames consume the creature's body until there was nothing but ash left. Standing up, the figure walked towards Hella and searched her pockets, pulling out her wallet. Going through the wallet, the person helped themselves to the twenties inside it before pulling out her library card to check her house address. After finding and memorizing it, the figure slid the card back into her pocket before carrying her out of the pool of blood and throwing her over its shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Walking out of the warehouse, the figure turned around and gave the warehouse a last glance before noticing the black puddle on the floor and Hella's blood on the floor and walls, "Can't leave any evidence behind" it thought before snapping their fingers, sending an azure spark into the building and a few seconds later the entire building was engulfed in blue flames. With barely hidden glee in its eyes, the figure watched the warehouse get consumed in flames, a grin spreading across its face as everything inside was reduced to either a molten pool or turned to ash "Absolutely beautiful, someday the world will be beautiful like this" the figure said as they watched the warehouse burn to the ground.

Staring at the smoldering pile for what seemed like hours, the figure walked away with Hella over its shoulder as the sound of police sirens grew closer. "Thirty-three, thirty, twenty-nine, ahhh there it is, twenty-five" the figure said as it stood outside a duplex. Staring at the house that had the lights out, its eyes roamed across the house until it came across the open attic window; "I think I can throw her that far" it contemplated but decided against it as the orders of its superiors rang in its head. Leaping towards the window, it landed on the roof next to the attic window where it carefully opened the window fully and unceremoniously dumped Hella's body inside before leaping away, missing the markings running from her wrist to elbow which appeared and began to emit a deep purple glow.

Saga of the Si ns: Volume 1- Pride

The fire cast its warm glow on a female figure who sat on a stool close to the fireplace, watching the flames with a distant look in her eyes as she got lost in memory. Stretching out her right hand towards the fire, she watched as the fire reached out towards her outstretched hand and made its way up her arm, enveloping her in its warm embrace yet leaving her skin and clothing unhurt. She stayed seated on the stool for several minutes, her hand wreathed in flames while she was lost in her mind and would have stayed for several more if not for the sound of trampling feet coming from outside the cottage that served as her home. Snapping back to the present at the sound of the footsteps, she dispersed the flames that covered her hand as the front door was assaulted by a flurry of knocks. "We know you're in there Ordria" a drunken voice said from outside. Anger flashed through her eyes as she identified the owner of the voice; it was Drowle, the villager that used to be her husband's best friend until she came along and married him and their child came along. He personally spearheaded all the investigations into the matter of her being a heathen and he claimed that the potions she concocted-which had healed several of their sick and were cheaper than the ones the temple sold-were made from ingredients so foul that just the thought of them made her sick. There was little that his ravings could accomplish alone, but then the priests of the local temple joined him on his crusade against her which led to a majority of her patrons and friends abandoning her. She could deal with the reduced amount of customers and income, but when the last of her friends abandoned her after the temple branded as a heretic, she began to hate him and the rest of the village. Unable to stand the villagers but unable to leave due to her husband and child, she managed to convince her husband to move to the outskirts of the village close to the forest where she could be closer to nature and her son could roam around and train with his father whenever he came back from his trips.

But they still wouldn't leave her and her family alone. Whenever she went to town to gather supplies, she heard the villagers and her former friends whisper things about her that made her heart ache, and it got worse when they began to avoid her or worse; pick on her son. Drowle had even gone several steps further and spread rumors about how she was a heathen and that the magic she had used to heal those that had been fatally injured from accidents was derived from demonic sources and her potions were twisted and a perversion of nature, conveniently forgetting that it was her potions and knowledge of herbs and the human body that had healed several of their sick. They also forgot that she was the one responsible for the delivery of several children in the village.

Banishing the dark thoughts that came with the memories of Drowle and the villagers, she ignored his voice and took the iron poker from its resting place and began to stoke the fire, planning to ignore them until they either passed out into a drunken stupor or got tired and went home. "Get out here you witch, we have your Hel-spawn here with us" the voice said, getting her attention and causing her to drop the poker. " Impossible" she thought as she got up from the stool and walked towards the door, "This has to be a trick, there should be no way he would get caught" she thought to herself, but she couldn't risk the chance of her child being in the hands of the villagers; especially if they were as drunk as Drowle sounded. Reaching the door, she let her magic flow through her and directed it to her left hand causing it to burst into flames as she prepared to deal with the villagers in the scenario that they actually got a hold of her child. Peering through a crack in the door, she saw an assortment of men and women that formed a mob about twenty strong outside her home, all of them wrapped in fur cloaks in order to keep the winter cold out and Drowle standing in front of them, obviously enjoying the role of leader. Standing at the back of the crowd were three hooded figures that watched the mob activity impassively.

Several of the villagers were holding an assortment of farming tools in their hands while some had their weapons drawn. One of the people behind Drowle looked like he was carrying something over his shoulder, but she couldn't see what it was to Drowle's figure blocking her view. Drowle himself held a flaming torch in his left hand while his right hand rested on the hilt of his sword "Not coming out witch?" he said as a wicked gleam appeared in his eyes before he turned towards the mob, or more specifically the person with the object on his shoulder and nodded. The figure threw the object on the floor, revealing it to be her gagged, battered and bruised son; Ozymandias. Quenching the flames in her hand, she unbolted the door and rushed over to her son and knelt next to him, tears running down her cheeks as she took the piece of cloth that served as a gag out of his mouth before running her hands over his body, her eyes scanning his body for injuries while a light green glow emanated from her hands, healing his wounds. Once all his wounds were healed, she breathed a sigh of relief before turning towards the villagers with rage flooding through her body as both of her hands suddenly burst into yellow flames. "What did you do to him?!" she whispered at first before screaming "What did you do!!!!" as blue flames suddenly erupt from her hands, causing the snow around them to melt from the heat. The appearance of the flames scares several of the people present and they look ready to flee, but the others kept them from running while the hooded figures watched the display with great interest.

"We've told you and your Hel-spawn to stay away from our village several times" Drowle spoke up, too drunk to feel fear from the display of power from Ordria, "And now we've taken the matter into our own hands. But as you can see, we aren't heartless like you witches and we left your spawn relatively unhurt."

"You call what you did to him unhurt?!" she yelled as she prepared to throw the fire in her hands at the mob. Seeing that she was enraged, members of the mob drew their weapons "Well, I said relatively unhurt. I mean we even left him alive for you" Drowle said before adding "Though that was more for your husband's sake than yours" he finished off before turning around to leave, "Take this as your final warning, you and your spawn aren't welcome here" and with that, he motioned for the crowd to disperse, leaving her to tend to her son. As the crowd began to leave, Drowle deliberately slowed his step as he prepared a final barb to add insult to injury; "Oh, when Aldos comes back, I want you to undo whatever spell you did to him to make him fall in love with you. We all know there's no way anyone would fall for something as disgusting as you."

Enraged by Drowle's actions and words, Ordria prepared to lash out at the mob, but as her eyes scanned the area, she realized that she couldn't take care of the mob while defending her son at the same time. Clenching her hands into fists out of rage and defeat, she quenched the flames surrounding her hands and picked up her son, gently cradling him in her arms while he hugged her. Turning her back on the crowd, she made her way back to their home as her mind thought of ways to get back at the mob and especially Drowle. Stopping in her tracks, an idea formed in her head
