Chapter 6: Sweet Dreams Are Made Of
Midgard- River Casino
After meeting with the watcher of the gods the three demigods retired to their rooms and soon fell into a deep sleep entering the realm of Morpheus.
Naruto opened his eyes as he looked around and took in his surroundings.
Noting that he was standing in dark tunnel with shining light at the end. Naruto body moved forward without his consent from a slow walk his body broke out into a dead sprint towards the light.
After a few moments he had reached light at the end of the tunnel and he was soon met with a roaring crowd and a bright blue sky. Standing in what appeared to be a coliseum he noted someone charging directly at him. A young man dressed in all gold.
The young man drew a coin and flipped it into the air. The coin shifted into a sword as the golden gladiator leapt into the air catch the weapon. Naruto's body followed suit leaping into the air still not drawing a weapon but instead he just extended his left hand to the side.
After a few moments an axe appeared ripping its way through the air before the Norse demigod snatched it out of the air.
Naruto shifted his body to the side dodging the spear thrust at his person. Just as Naruto dodged his axe wielding arm was in motion as the axe cut through the air before it as intercepted by a unique shield which was thrown knocking the axe from his grasp.
Naruto's eyes widened before the golden warrior summoned a blast of condensed knocking him back towards the ground.
Just as Naruto hit the ground, he shifted his weight and used his momentum to roll back onto his feet while sliding back a few feet.
Before he could move Naruto was forced to summon a shield from his armoury, to block an incoming shield bash from a familiar punk dressed teen with familiar electric blue eyes.
Naruto then saw the golden one charge from the side but before he could reach him Naruto summoned the axe that had been knocked from his grasp earlier. To block the sword strike from the golden one.
Before the three warriors could move the sky howled causing all three to look up only to see the sky falling upon them.
Naruto's eyes snapped open as he sat up from the room he had entered to rest. Taking deep breaths to calm himself.
"Damned Sandman," Naruto muttered a curse as he couldn't help but assume that his dream was a sign that this simple quest into the west is about to get more complicated.
'I think it's time for a shower,' Naruto thought to himself as he Noticed that he was sweating a lot.
Around twenty minutes had passed and over in the next room over the two girls of his group were asleep Maria fell asleep reading through the scroll the Norse god gave her earlier it showed how to improve her control via several different exercises and a few more ways to manipulate water.
The trickster's daughter on the other hand who went to sleep with a small smile on her face suddenly jolted awake with a scream
"BIANNCCAA! NOOOO!"
The scream woke up Maria shot up instantly and instinctually reached for bracelet to shift into its weapon form.
Naruto burst through the door in nothing but a towel as he raced from his room just as he finished his shower and heard the scream.
Upon his entry and both alerted demigods looked around and after realising nothing else was in the room with them.
Tessa had sat up shivering from her position on the bed.
'She probably had her first demigod dream,' Maria thought.
"Alright how about this we all meet up in ten so we can talk about what you saw, and we will see if we can do anything to help ok," Naruto spoke looking directly at the youngest of their group.
The girl just nodded along. While Naruto locked eyes with Maria who got the message and made her way to sit next to the younger demigoddess.
Midgard- Camp Half Blood
Inside the camp, the safe haven for Greek demigods inside the cabin belonging to her father had gone to sleep pissed. She was annoyed at them losing capture the flag to the Hunters. She was pissed off at her water- logged brain cousin for ignoring the plan and doing his own thing again. She was even more vexed by that smug grin on the crown bitch's face Zoe.
'What the hell,' Thalia thought to herself as she found in a dark tunnel.
As she began to move drawn to the light at the end of the tunnel. She became witness to two guys fighting in the air before her.
One was dressed in golden armour along with a helmet with an electric blue plume on top. He was wielding a golden sword that matched his armour. The other had on sleeveless leather armour dark pants and leather boots. He had just summoned a large axe to him.
To Thalia they looked like ancient warriors one a Roman the other a Viking. As the Viking dodge a thrust by the roman and swing his weapon towards the roman.
"NO! Aegis!" Thalia roared before she summoned her shield. The daughter of Zeus did not know why but she just felt that had to protect the golden one. She reared her arm back and launched her shield towards the combatants.
She watched with bated breath as the shield connected to the axe head knocking it from the Vikings grasp. She watched on as the shield ricochet back towards the earth to which she sprinted towards it as it fell. Up above she noticed the Roman bending the wind to knock the Viking down to the ground. She leapt towards catching the shield rolling through the landing she charged the Viking with a shield ready bash him in.
Thalia's eyes widened as the Viking summoned his own shield to lock up with her. It was at that point she recognised him as the guy from other day. But before she could say a thing the roman solider joined in on their clash as the whiskered Viking summoned his axe back to him as he snarled at them both all the while holding them both back.
Her attention shifted over to the golden one and for some reason he felt familiar, but she just couldn't place it.
Before anything else could happen, the sky roar forcing all three warriors to look up and they found the sky crashing down upon them.
Everything went black.
Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus her electric blue eyes snapped open as she shot awake from her hyper realised dream.
"The fuck was that," she swore before noting the time and sighing.
'Fuck it, ill figure it out later I should get ready.'
River Casino-
"So, let me get this straight you had a dream, about some kind of scrap heap or junkyard?" Maria asked/confirmed with the younger girl.
Naruto leant against the far wall, now clothed as he tried to think of any places that Tess described or if his dream is connected to any of this.
"Yeah and I saw Bi trapped inside a cage of some kind being electrocuted."
"Any ideas where to look?" Maria asked as she looked towards Naruto.
"The west isn't my specialty I know enough to keep me in the loop but outside of that I normally try my best to stay out of this backwards ass territory."
"Hey!" Maria said.
"Not my fault or let the Greek sun god strike me down now." Naruto simply before any kind of divine punishment to be called down upon him.
"Now I may have a way to find this place." Naruto before sitting on the floor in a meditative position with his hands forming a sign.
"Tessa, do you have anything that belongs to Bianca?" Naruto said with his eyes closed.
"Erm yeah?" Tess said confusion laced throughout her tone.
"Yeah what are you doing."
"Think about who I am, who my father is and who my sensei is."
The girls frowned for a minute.
"Oh, I get it now," Maria said in understanding.
"What? What is it?"
"He is an Odinson, his father the Norse All-Father is the God of wisdom, poetry, war, death, divination, and magic.
"The last two titles are key in what I have planned so I'm going use my innate talent divination to locate your friend's current location and we can try to determine destination and can assist at this junkyard place." Naruto explained as Tessa began rush over to her nightstand and pulled out a small pendant.
"Here Bianca gave this to me just before we left the Lotus together." Tess said as she thrust it towards the older teen.
"Alright Tess another lesson in this, is us Anase, children born of the Norse gods have the potential to surpass almost anyone, but this power comes at a cost." Naruto paused as he accepted it with one hand as his left hand stayed in the signed position.
"My father, he sacrificed his eye in Mimir's well and he threw himself on his spear Gungnir in a kind of symbolic, ritual suicide. He then hung himself in Yggdrasil, the tree of life, for nine days and nine nights in order to gain knowledge of other worlds, to be able to understand the runes to utilize them to their fullest potential."
"Why would he do that?"
"Well little trickster, some of our innate gifts don't require anything to sacrifice like most children of your old man have incredible talent with illusions or shapeshifting."
"Wait, I can what?"
"Don't worry we will get you started on your training on the way to wherever we end up traveling to."
Tess nodded before stepping back next to Maria.
"I hate doing this," Naruto muttered before focusing his mental energies that formed his magic and focusing on the history of the pendant.
Naruto wasn't prepared for what he saw. He saw the pendants history, who it had belonged to. Images flooded his mind of and Italian woman getting this pendant bewitched from a travelling magician.
Five shall go west to the goddess in chains.
Naruto then the moment it was handed off from the older woman to what looked like a younger Bianca during some kind of freak lightning strike.
Three shall be found in the land without rain.
The images flowed some more as it showed a very upset Bianca and Nico holding each other mourning the loss of their mother.
The bane of Olympus shows the trail.
Next the images flowed some more to a scared younger Tessa huddled in the corner alone, wet and afraid hiding out in a corner of the Lotus where she was found by Bianca and Nico before Bianca handed the pendant to the girl with the message of this pendant will always keep you safe, even though she did not know why.
Through combined forces will the West prevail.
'Such strong emotions in this little thing. Alright time to push on, now let's focus on Bianca's location.'
Alliances made must not be erased.
The two onlookers saw several Norse rune-like tattoos from underneath his shirt and down his arms glow with each passing second.
'Alright time to push past the Psychometry and focus on Bianca's essence.'
To, avoid deaths soulless embrace.
Naruto's eyes snapped open as he let is power fade, with a grin on his face he focused on the girls.
"Ladies we are going to Arizona, some placed call Claw grill or something." Naruto announced before standing up and heading for the door.
"Make sure you rest up while you can we are leaving in a few hours."
With door closed behind Naruto stumbled towards his own room, his body trembled with extreme pain.
'Tch, really body, a little bit divination leaves me in this kind of state' Naruto chided himself as he felt his nose start to bleed. Power through sacrifice and pain that is the way of the northern lands and the Norse gods
Musphelheim-
In realm where fire giants roam upon his throne sat Surtr the Lord of the fire Jotunn.
Before him chained to the floor an Anase from the western territory.
"So, let me get this straight little Ananse. You are currently in a civil war with your gods and the titans are rising." Surtr's deep and booming voice echoed through the throne room.
The blonde demi-god a daughter of Apollo just nodded in response to afraid to find her own voice.
"Speak up girl!"
"Y-yes, we are currently at war with the Olympians," the sun gods daughter squeaked and stuttered out.
"So, you turned away from your creators why?"
"Because they don't love or care about us."
"BHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA," Surtr burst into laughter at the girl's decree. The surrounding flames seemed to increase and decrease in size and heat with every other breath.
The young demigoddess recoiled at the sight she was terrified at whatever this monster was.
Surtr stepped down from his throne and made steps towards her prone form. With every step her fear increased, while his size decreased, from a towering giant to a relatively tall man.
Surtr leant over placing his palm on the demi-god's head.
To the teenager as soon as the monsters hand touched her scalp, she felt the weight of the world forcing her back down to both knees, gasping for air.
"Pathetic, you cannot even handle my power. Don't your gods even teach to breath?" Surtr insulted and questioned the hyperventilating blonde with sun kissed skin that had now been marred with various bruises and burns.
Removing his hand from the young girl's head dismissing the mystic chains before grasping her by the throat and lifting her into the air with ease.
"Weak," Surtr hissed before increasing the heat relishing what little struggle the demigod put as she boiled from the inside.
One of the younger giants burst into the throne room.
"My Lord we have received word from your daughter. She has located the Odinson."
"Good," Surtr said simply before tossing the desiccated corpse daughter of the Greek sun god to other side the room as he returned to his throne room.
River Casino (Following Day)
The following morning the three anase could be found outside of the hotel in the courtyard, waiting for the valet to bring the car around.
Naruto noted that the girls had changed their attires. Maria was in a pair light wash faded jeans, a short sleeved turquoise coloured top that matched her eyes. With dark grey parka jacket. Tess had changed to, wearing a white hoodie over a symbol green T-shirt the an Ouroboros symbol imprinted onto it in white with a black outline. On her lower half she had similar jeans as Maria along with a regular pair of boots.
After analysing the new attires of his party Naruto did nothing for a couple of minutes before boredom began to sink in, and when children of war deities became bored.
Summoning a unique tri-pronged dagger from his armoury, Naruto launched himself towards the trickster's daughter.
Catching the movement in the corner of her eye Tess drew her own knife to defend herself. Relying on instinct she managed to parry the initial strike.
"Interesting," Maria muttered as she looked on with a raised eyebrow at the two northerners.
Naruto went back to a clash of blades with the young girl.
'Good her she is definitely a combative type like, me' Naruto thought.
'Left, right, duck, step back, lunge forward, parry, block,' Tess thought to herself willing her body to move along with her thoughts as her adhd mind kept up with the redheaded demigod.
"Good, but not good enough," Naruto declared before parrying Tess's lunge forward leaving her open. Naruto stepped forward inside of her defences, aiming his tri pronged dagger at the tip of her throat.
Naruto looked down at his current student.
"Interesting," Naruto spoke up as he stepped back.
Tess fell backwards and landed on her backside as she released a breath, she did not know she was holding.
"Not bad rookie," Maria spoke up as she offered a hand to help up the younger girl. "You are a natural knife user."
Tess just smiled gratefully at the hand.
"I mean just you wait until you level up."
"Level up?"
Naruto just cleared his throat.
"First rule of Uzumaki bootcamp. Do not talk about Uzumaki bootcamp."
"Wha?" Tess questioned as she noted that Maria looked comically very afraid muttering about demonic red headed sadistic Valkyries.
"Would you look at that the car has arrived," Naruto spoke up with a smirk as he ushered his party toward the muscle car.
Naruto turned back briefly and made eye contact with his teacher and no more words were exchanged just a nod before Naruto grabbed the keys from the valet and hopped in the driver's seat.
Back at the Casino looking from the penthouse Heimdall stood next to Sirana who wore a loose robe.
"Why didn't you tell him my love?"
"It is not my place the Fates have decreed it so."
"But this is a big deal."
"I know my love the Abyss war is coming, and only mortal children of kings have a chance in all of the nine realms."
"And working with the Greco-romans is the place to do it?"
"It's a start my beloved, it's a start."
Arizona Gila Claw-
"Welcome to Gila Claw," Maria read out as they drove past a welcome to sign, in an almost bored out her mind tone. It took them almost all day, they had to stop and battle several monsters along the way, which kept the trip from being boring, but the last monster attack was over an hour ago.
'At least Tess got some actual combat experience wielding her dagger,' Maria thought to herself.
'What is this? There is a strong wild presence coming up.' Naruto thought as his sense picked up traces of a godly presence.
"Nature magic is strong in this place so keep your guard up," Naruto warned.
"Alright I'm gonna wake the kid."
Naruto just nodded as he began to slow down as he came to a set of traffic lights.
"Hey kiddo time to wake up." Maria leant back to shake Tess's shoulder getting her to wake up.
The younger girl's eyes snapped open, and in the initial wake up panic she reached for her dagger.
Watching on silently via the rear- view mirror Naruto nodded his head at her initial reaction.
'She is getting quicker.' Naruto and Maria both thought at the same time.
"Easy there it looks like we have arrived but just waking you you're on your guard," Maria spoke up in a calming tone.
"Oh good," Tess sighed as she attempted to stretch out her joints.
The atmosphere was interrupted by a rather large squeal in the distance.
"Is it me or is that coming closer?"
"You would be correct Maria." Naruto answered as his gaze narrowed as he focused on the rather large moving shadow in the distance.
Naruto rolled down the window and stuck his head of the window and took a deep inhale.
'That's the source of the natural energy.' Naruto thought.
'Alright think we are in the west what kind of beasts could they have that are that size moving at this kind of speed?' Maria thought to herself as reached into her bag to draw Akansha.
Naruto exited the car and walked a few paces in front of the car and just waited.
"What is that idiot doing?" Maria muttered before she and Tess exited the car to stand by him.
"So, what are we doing? Killing it or running away?" Tess questioned.
"Neither."
"Neither?" Maria questioned.
"Yup neither, this ain't your typical Greek beasty."
"It's not?"
"Nah from the scent and natural energy in the air I would say it's a divine gift of sorts."
"Oh well, when you put it like that it makes perfect sense." Maria said as she rolled her eyes before winking at Tess before they both broke out in giggles.
Naruto just swore at Maria for the light mocking.
As the large shadow got closer it became clearer.
"Is that a giant pig?" Tess asked.
"Yup." Naruto responded popping the p at the end.
"It's not stopping," Tess spoke up.
"Don't worry about it, Maria if you would." Naruto said as he stepped back slightly pulling Tess back with him.
"Now this is another lesson, you will probably develop this over time. To project your will is what Maria is about to do."
"Huh?"
"Just watch kiddo."
"Not a kid," Tess huffed.
In front of the northerners Maria just sighed with her eyes closed, before she tapped into her bloodlust, her willingness to maim, to kill anything in her path. Before her eyes snapped open and she focused all of that intent onto the charging pig.
The effect was instantaneous.
The boar came to a screeching halt stopping but a few feet in front of the group. Paralyzed with fear unable to move or break from the mortal girl's gaze.
Tess's jaw dropped.
"We can stop things with a glance?"
"Not all of us can and it doesn't always freeze things normally works better on the less intelligent but that's for another day as we have your friend to track down." Naruto explained before walking towards the boar.
After walking around the fear frozen beast Naruto took a few sniffs and then around in the air.
"The Greeks were here this thing reeks of them. Maybe they used it to travel to this place before it went free" Naruto speculated before reaching out and touching the side of the beast, tapping into his Psychometry ability.
"You can drop the killing intent now Maria."
The girl just relaxes letting willingness to kill fade before the boar snapped out of its paralysis before hightailing it away from this group of mortals.
"I know where they are, and they are close by."
Just as they began heading back to the car a pink limousine pulled up in front of them blocking them from going any further.
"Keep calm no matter what happens."
"What's going on," Tess questioned the older teen.
A tall man radiating bloodlust stepped out of the limo.
"War has arrived." Naruto said simply before stepping in front of both Tess using his body to attempt shield her from the god's presence.
'Maria can handle this level, but Tess will probably lash out or run away.'
"You don't belong here runt," the stated rudely.
"What do you want Ares?" Naruto asked simply, not portraying any real emotion.
"Well I felt a blast of murderous intent and I just happened to be in the area, so you know."
"You happened to be in the middle of fucksville nowhere, right?" Maria spoke up ignoring the urge to bash someone's skull in.
Ares just grunted and ignored the statement focusing on the son of Odin.
"So, you're playing chauffeur tonight?" Naruto asked in an annoying tone.
"Piss off runt, I just wanna know why you're out here."
"You know seeing the sights, real tourist trap around here you know in the middle of fucksville nowhere Arizona." Maria chimed in.
"Tch you know what I don't care enough to waste I got plans with my lady and you Odinson's are irritating to kill, like cockroaches the lot of ya."
"And because by the sounds of things you already got one war on your hands do you really need another war with us?" Naruto responded trying to ignore the Greek war gods effect as his own lust for battle was rising.
"Need nah, want on the other hand hell yeah, more violence more war, but my murder boner ain't hard right now."
"That's surprising," Maria muttered to herself with the amount bloodlust this dude was radiating.
"Mainly due to my girl promising to do this thing with her tongue, it's gonna be sweet." Ares continued speaking as if he hadn't heard the girl's comment.
"Ahhem," A large fake sounding lady like cough came from within the limo.
"And that means it's time to go, so now be on your way pissant," Ares said as he hopped back into the limo's driving seat.
Just as the limo's ignition was turned the backseat window opened up a bit and looked at the latest addition to the Odinson line.
'Interesting,' Aphrodite thought her eyes shifting between electric blue and a burning amber colour.
Soon as the limo sped off the three demigods all let out a breath as the atmosphere returned to normal.
'I felt like prey there at the last second,' Naruto thought to himself as he was thinking about the person, he had just made eye contact with.
Before any words could be spoken a very tall metallic looking man stood up in the distance.
"Ahh Shit" Maria cursed.
"Maria, Tess on me." Naruto ordered as he began making moves towards the Challenger.
"Alright don't bother with the seatbelts, Tess get ready to jump and you think can pull off that thing from earlier and Maria ready up I'm gonna need a ramp."
"I'll try my best." Tess said as a look of determination crossed her face.
"A ramp, oh hell yeah." Maria responded before tapping into her latent hydrokinetic abilities and reaching out to all moisture in the air outside.
Naruto began channelling his own magic into the steering wheel after a few moments the car was covered in a bright orange hue, matching Naruto own eyes as Amethyst shone a shining orange. The speedometer hit the top speed limit before the screen shattered. Naruto grin widened turning almost vulpine as the metallic giant became clearer and as they got closer his magic output increased.
"Maria now!" Naruto shouted.
Maria focused all of the moisture she could reach ripping moisture from plants and water vapour in the air in the shape of a ramp before freezing locking the liquid molecules into a solid state.
"Ikuzo," Naruto said in his mother tongue before lining up to with metal Jotunn.
Junkyards of the Gods-
Currently standing in the middle of a junkyard that the gods dump all of their trash stood one Percy Jackson, Thalia Grace, Bianca Di Aneglo, Zoe Nightshade, and Grover Underwood. All five of them are currently facing down an automaton a giant automaton one that Zoe claimed to be a prototype of Talos.
'Shit what do we do against this thing.' Thalia thought to herself as she clutched her spear.
"Any Ideas, Thalia, Zoe?" Percy asked in a panic, but their silence was telling.
Sounds of the gears turning could be heard with every step.
'What is that noise,' Zoe thought herself as she heard a noise in the distance getting louder and closer.
Soon the others heard it as they backed up from the bronze automaton.
"What is that? A car?" Grover questioned still looking terrified and on the verge of passing out.
Before the question could be answered a heavy presence hit the demigods, Saytr and Huntress. To them it had felt as if the gravity had increased tenfold.
"Tis is someone's magical output." Zoe grunted out as she attempted to stand upright.
The sound of a very fast American muscle car was on approach it wasn't until a large ramp of ice sprang up in the distance and look like a small orange comet be launched off of the ice structure aiming straight for the metallic giant.
Just before impact the campers and the hunter heard one thing.
"OUT NOW!" a voice shouted from within the comet, before three shadows leapt out just as comet detonated upon impact on the Proto-Talos knocking the machine off of its feet.
"Tess now," Naruto called out.
"Right," Tess responded as she attempted to focus her own magical abilities.
Flashback Start
She was sick and tired of running. Tess had been separated from her group who were currently battling against some rowdy and violent centaur people. She had managed to lose the centaurs following her down an alley.
'Ok, breath and focus. What did Naruto say look deep down within yourself to connect your magic circuits with your core.' Tess thought to herself before after a few moments of concentration a green arc of electricity sprung to life between her hands.
"Whoa," Tess's eyes widened as she looked down at her hands as she felt her power flowing through her entire body.
Growl
Tess almost at the sound of multiple low growls from behind her as she turned around to face what other monsters were down this alley.
Burning red eyes multiple pairs came out of the darkness, revealing themselves to be rather large and scary looking dogs.
"Well better than being eaten," Tess said before throwing her hands forward in an attempt to throw the electricity forward at the monsters.
Her hands were about to release before it blew up in her face knocking her out of the alley and onto the sidewalk.
Her vision swam she appeared to be seeing double or triple considering the red eye dog seemed to have multiplied.
'I guess I couldn't save you Bi, sorry I couldn't return the favour,' the young maiden thought in what she considered to be her final moments.
What interrupted those thoughts multiple cracks of a whip before all of the hellhounds mid leap dissolve into gold dust.
"Hey there kiddo you still alive? If you are, I hope you had your mouth closed Hellhounds never taste great." Maria called out as she walked over to give the girl a hand onto her feet.
Flashback End
Green electricity sprang forth from between the young girls' hands. Her power output was increasing to the point her own clothes were ruffling and moving on their own.
'Focus, power, shape, control,' Tess thought herself remembering Naruto's advice earlier, just as she threw her hands forward as the electricity thrown to just above the proto Talos.
The others just watched on as the apparent bolts of electricity began form and shift into some kind of orb that discharged electricity forming some kind of electric cage trapping the automaton.
As the automaton attempted to stand up it was met with resistance due to the cage as it got repeated shocks.
Naruto looked on with pride.
Maria looked on with wild grin.
Percy look on confused.
Thalia look on interested in doing something similar.
Grover was knocked out from the car exploding.
Zoe recognised the three demigods and from the other day and was impressed with the maiden's power.
Bianca looked on with surprise at her best friend appearing out of nowhere and effectively saving the day.
"You will not harm my friends!" Tess shouted as she maintained control over the cage before shrinking not allowing any movement at before the arcs of electricity closed in on it frying the inside circuitry just as the cage imploded from her lack of control.
Once the smoke cleared the Proto Talos just fell over face first never to get up again under its own power.
At the same time Tess began to fall over, seeing this Naruto quickly rushed over to catch the girl.
"Did we win?"
"Yeah you did Tess, you did now rest up." Naruto as he placed her on his back. "Nice job with the ramp Maria by the way."
"You know me, I'm just that damn good," Maria said simply as she flexed her bicep with a grin.
Naruto and Maria turned to see the Greeks have their weapons drawn on them minus the satyr Grover and Bianca.
"You ungrateful little sh-"
"Maria enough, we are still unknowns here,' Naruto spoke with a whisper, but his words carried weight. Before focusing on the group in front of him.
"We are here to interrupt your quest to add in some assistance. But please keep pointing weapons at me the War god in me just loves that." Naruto warned the group simply and clearly.
"We don't require any assistance, man" Zoe snapped.

Before more could be said Bianca approached the older boy carrying her friend.
"I-is she okay?"

"She sure is, just little bit tired you know. We have had a very busy day Miss Di Angelo. We came here for you.
"What do you mean?"
"When Tess here wakes up, I'll let her tell herself."
"Now do we have anywhere safer where we can maybe set up camp since we no longer have a car and one my squad is currently out of action."
Zoe looked conflicted before Thalia stepped in.
"Come on let's get out this place before something else tries to kill us and then when we set up camp you can explain why you're here."
"Whatever you say," Naruto said with a familiar grin.
'He's definitely the guy from my dream,' Thalia thought back to night before the quest and what the goddess of love said to her 10 minutes ago.
After making their way out of the junkyard they mixed grouped found a suitable place to set up camp. Naruto set down Tess on the ground who had regained consciousness on their short walk.
As his eyes scanned past the son of Poseidon who was helping the satyr walk and locked eyes with Thalia then looked towards Zoe.

Any thoughts on Tess and Maria I know OC's aren't the most popular in any but at the time when I started this, I didn't know much about the Magnus Chase series.
