The many escapades of Zarbon
Zarbon finds buried treasure
Zarbon, an elite space warrior from another planet, was enjoying his first visit to the local park of the new year. He sat relaxed on a bench near the lake in the park, watching the ducks swimming along on the lake surface, quacking in the distance. Taking in a calm breath, Zarbon gave off a very relaxed sigh as he took in all that this peaceful moment had to offer.
However, Zarbon perked up when he spotted something that piqued his interest; Lilimon, one of his friends, was at the park. She was using a metal detector, even had a pair of headphones on that were attached to the metal detector, as she scanned the soft, cool grassy ground in the shade that was under a large nearby tree. Curious, Zarbon got up and went over to Lilimon.
"Excuse me, Lilimon," Zarbon greeted as he reached the ultimate level Digimon, "But what are you doing here at the park with a metal detector?"
"Oh, hey Zarbon," Lilimon replied, "Fancy seeing you here. Well to answer your question, I brought my metal detector to the park because I'm looking for buried treasure."
Zarbon's eyes widened a little bit out of confused surprise when he got Lilimon's answer. "Buried treasure? You mean to say that there's treasure hidden buried here somewhere in the park?"
Lilimon nodded in confirmation. "Would you be interested in helping me look for it? I don't have an extra metal detector, but I could use a physically buff person such as you to dig for me."
Zarbon smirked as he flexed his left arm while patting his left bicep with his right hand. "Well these muscles are for more than just revving up my boyfriend's engines, you know. Count me in." With a smile, Lilimon handed a shovel over to Zarbon before he proceeded to follow her on the search for the buried treasure.
...
As he followed along behind Lilimon, Zarbon asked, "So Lilimon, is there any manner of story behind the buried treasure that we're looking for?"
"Oh yeah," Lilimon said, "It was buried in a durable plastic toolbox back in the early 1970's here in the park. The guy who buried it wanted to set up a treasure hunting adventure for his future grandkids."
"Wow, that man really thought ahead," Zarbon remarked, a look of mild surprise on his face, "Wait, how did you come by this information? Is it that you know the man who buried it?"
"My human friend Mimi's friend Sora's grandfather is the one who buried the treasure," Lilimon said as she still went about with the metal detector, "But he's in the hospital on his death bed right now. Sora understandably doesn't want to leave her grandfather's side in his final moments, so I told her that I would find the buried treasure for her."
Zarbon looked mildly confused by the story. "Hang on, doesn't the treasure hunt lose meaning in that case, then? I mean, you did mention it that Sora's grandfather had set it up for his future grandkids, meaning Sora herself."
"It already lost meaning because Sora's grandfather wanted to do it with Sora, but can't because he fell ill and won't make it," Lilimon pointed out, "Anyway, we ought to be getting close now, so-"
Lilimon stopped short when the metal detector went off suddenly, which also got Zarbon's attention as well. "Oh my goodness, we found something!" cried Zarbon in excitement, "It could be the buried treasure!"
Pointing right at the spot on the ground over which her metal detector went off, Lilimon said, "Well what are you waiting for? Put those muscles of yours to use!" Nodding in understanding, Zarbon got right on to digging for the goods that were buried deep within the ground below them.
After Zarbon had dug up a fair sized mound of dirt, he asked, "How am I doing so far?"
"We haven't reached what's buried yet, Zarbon!" Lilimon replied, "You've got to take that shovel and really shove it in! You need to go deeper!"
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHOOOOOOOO!" Zarbon cried out in aroused, sensual pleasure, reinvigorated fully as he proceeded to dig up more dirt and at a quicker pace. Within short order, Zarbon struck something solid and not earthen with his shovel, spurring him and Lilimon to wipe all of the remaining dirt away with their hands.
Soon, they found a durable plastic toolbox that looked long buried. After the toolbox was freed and brought out of the hole, Zarbon and Lilimon set it down and opened it, revealing loads of change, as well as some jewelry, and even a few side things like a star shaped sheriff's badge, and a shot glass made of pure, solid pewter. "We did it, Zarbon!" Lilimon cheered, "We found the treasure!"
Nodding in agreement with Lilimon's excitement, Zarbon said, "Oh my, yes. It's quite the start to the new year, I have to admit."
Author's notes;
Indeed it is quite the start to the new year, finding buried treasure and whatnot. Anyway, the next escapade will see an old friend of Zarbon's return home after having been gone for a very long time, so keep an eye out for that. Stay frosty.
