Now I know that I said I was going to be working on updates and yes you will be getting one of those right this minute as I am updating my Konosuba story before I move onto Kuoh's Prince of Knights which I am also working on as we speak. When we left off Makoto picked his class as the Martial Artist and now he is going to be going on his first quest in which we will see how much he can do. You won't be seeing anything really big until the Dullahan shows up and that is when we will see the extent of which Makoto can do at that point as he will only get stronger as time goes on. I may be adding one or two people more into the harem but I want to keep it low as I am not going to do as gig a harem as I usually do for my DxD stories as sometimes I myself know that I am going overboard with the amount of females that are in said harem and so I am cutting back just a bit. I am also thinking about making an original arc or two making Makoto and his party go off and do whatever the hell I want them to do which I think will be fun seeing as I do not want to follow the anime word for word so I figure throw a bit of a curve ball and send these misfit adventurers off to do something interesting. Now then as for the other anime attacks that I am giving him it will be pretty damn easy for you to figure it out when I unleash them as I already have a few of them already figured out and I really hope that you will enjoy seeing me use them when I want to bust them out. Other than that I hope you all enjoy this little story of mine seeing as it has been floating around in my mind for a bit and so I figured that it was finally time I finally unleash it. Disclaimer: I own nothing at all nor will I ever save for the O.C. I made for this story.
After the short celebration the group of three went through a montage in which they did things like fixing houses, painting, digging, and other things that you would not expect from an adventurer but rather a normal worker. During the night they slept in the stable seeing as they didn't have enough to sleep in an inn which was something seeing as Makoto did not have anything to really say as he was tired almost everyday after all the grunt work he did. Then one day Makoto, Aqua, and Kazuma finally had enough and picked out a simple request along with using whatever money they had left over to get Kazuma a sword.
The request was simple kill five giant toads in three days, apparently these creatures have been eating a farmer's goats and during the season they destroy the crops as well. For that reason Makoto, Aqua, and Kazuma have to destroy them or at least kill five of them if they can help it.

Things went from bad to worse very fast. Kazuma is running for his life from one of the giant toads while Makoto is fighting one of them. Aqua on the other hand is laughing her ass off at Kazuma's expense instead of helping him. Makoto guessed that it was time for him to see what he could do, although he would rather have some practice with something smaller. The giant toad tried to swallow him in one bite but Makoto dodged it by backing up a little and jumping away. Makoto took advantage of the fact that the toad's head was still very close to the ground and Makoto kicked with enough strength to literally bury his leg on it's head, leaving a mark of his foot engraved on it's skull.
"H-Holy shit I don't know my own strength" Makoto thought honestly.
Makoto turned around to see how Kazuma and Aqua are doing...just to see a giant green toad eating Aqua. Quickly, Makoto ran towards the toad with Kazuma following after.
"Spit her out you damn frog" Makoto said firmly.
Makoto's fist turned a dark color but at the same time it shone like steel. Then, Makoto hit the toad in it's belly causing the toad to spit Aqua out, the punch was so strong that the eyes of the giant toad to look towards the sky. Kazuma too the opportunity to jump into the air and stab the giant toad with his dagger in the head finishing it off.
"Was that Aramment Haki, it seems as though that skill will be very useful to me in the future" Makoto thought firmly.
Aqua: Konosuba
Aqua was now crying while still being covered in toad mucus and to the side Kazuma and Makoto are panting as this was something very new to the two gamers.
"Good thing Makoto-san stunned that toad long enough for me to kill it" Kazuma said honestly.
"Thank you Makoto" Aqua said honestly through tears.
"Hey I helped out as well" Kazuma said bluntly.
Aqua blindly lunges forwards and ends up hugging Kazuma while crying and also being covered in slime. Makoto watched as Kazuma tried to get Aqua off of him as the slime was staining his tracksuit. Sure she smelled really bad but Makoto guessed she needed to shed some tears after everything that happened to her so far, though that ended when Kazuma pushed her to the ground pretty damn gently.
"Um, lets head back for today. These things are more than we can handle right now. Lets do this after we get more equipment together" Kazuma said honestly.
Aqua then lazily got back up.
"I'm all dirty now. If the followers of the Axis see me sullied like this, I'll lose their devotion! If it gets out that I backed down from a lowly frog than the name of the beautiful and stunning Aqua will fall by the wayside" Aqua said sternly.
Aqua then could be heard screaming while also running towards the giant toad in the distance.
"Hey Aqua wait a moment" Kazuma and Makoto yelled.
"Feel the power of the gods! Regret that you ever stood in my path and bared your fangs at the gods repent and in the pts of hell! God Blow!" Aqua yelled.
"God Blow is a lethal fist that carries a goddess's rage and sorrow, any that it strikes shall perish" Aqua explained smugly.
Aqua's attack connected directly to the tod's stomach...but without any effect what so ever. Just like before the giant toad began to eat Aqua which meant that Kazuma and Makoto had to save Aqua once more. By the end of the day only two giant toads got killed and they only needed to kill two more in order to complete the mission.

The next day Makoto, Aqua, and Kazuma decided to try and recruit more party members to help them with their little quest. However the requirements are a bit to heavy as Makoto let out a sigh as he re-read what Aqua wrote down. Hell most people came over and asked Makoto if he wanted to join their party but Makoto kindly rejected their offer as he was fine staying with Kazuma and Aqua.
"Hey, lets lower the bar just a little. people only come and offer Makoto-san to join them and only having it be an advanced job is asking for to much" Kazuma said honestly.
"But...But" Aqua said sadly.
"Don't worry Aqua-san I am sure someone will come" Makoto said honestly.
"At this rate, no one will come. I mean, maybe you two have an advanced job, but I'm the weakest" Kazuma said sadly.
"I'm sure you'll improve in time" Makoto said honestly.
"Still I feel ashamed if I'm completely useless and surrounded by elites" Kazuma said bitterly.
"I happen to notice your recruitment poster" a female voice said honestly.
All three had surprised looks on their faces and looked as the person spoke.
"Hehe, That we would meet is a fate chosen by the world itself. I have anxiously awaited of those such as yourselves" the female said honestly.
The person is a teenager around the age of thirteen years old with a red costume and a hat with an eyepatch. As she said her words along with striking her pose all Makoto could say was.
"My name is Megumin! My calling is that of an arch wizard, one who control explosion magic, the strongest of all offensive magic" Megumin said proudly.
"C-cute" Makoto said honestly.
"C-c-cute" Megumin said with a stuttering blush.
"Umm..." Kazuma said honestly.
Megumin regained her composure and resumed her speech.
"Do you, too, desire my forbidden strength, which is so almighty, I've been ostracized world" Megumin continued.
"Huh" Kazuma asked in wonder.
"Then show me thine resolve to peer into the ultimate abyss with me! When a man stares into the abyss, the abyss stares back" Megumin said honestly.
"Are you messing with us" Kazuma asked dryly.
"No" Megumin said firmly.
"That red eye... are you a crimson demon" Aqua asked in wonder.
"A demon? All I see is a cute girl" Makoto said honestly.
"He said I'm cute again" Megumin whispered with a blush.
"Indeed! I am Megumin, user of the finest magic crimson demons can possess! My lethal magic destroys moun-" Megumin was about to continue.
Megumin began to fall from exhaustion, but acting quickly Makoto grabbed her before she hit the ground.
"Hey are you alright Megumin-chan" Makoto asked in concern.
Megumin looked up and started to blush red like a tomato.
"Y-yes...I haven't eaten in three days...Do you have anything to eat" Megumin said in a tired tone.
"I don't mind treating you, that was a cute introduction you gave there" Makoto said honestly.
"T-thank you, what is your name" Megumin asked while blushing even more.
"My name is Makoto Kamikaze" the teenager said honestly.
"If you need to recover than Aqua here can help you, by the way what's up with the eyepatch" Kazuma said honestly.
"Heh, this is the magic item that surpasses my mighty magical powers. If I ever take this off, a great catastrophe would surely befall this world" Megumin said bluntly.
"So its a seal or something" Makoto asked with a serious look on his face.
"Well that was a lie, I wear it just to look cool" Megumin said bluntly.
In an instant Kazuma grabbed Megumin's eyepatch and began to pull it.
"You know...Crimson Demons are born with high intelligence and magical powers. Generally they're all experienced magicians while also having weird names" Aqua said honestly.
Kazuma let go of the eyepatch which retracted and hit Megumin.
"Ow my eye" Megumin said in pain.
"Sorry about your eye, we thought you were making fun of us" Makoto said honestly.
"You also gave us a weird name" Kazuma said bluntly.
"Hey! That's rude calling my name weird" Megumin said firmly.
"You're right your name isn't weird it's adorable" Makoto said honestly.
"Stop it Makoto-kun" Megumin said while also blushing.
"By the way what are your parents name" Makoto asked in wonder.
Megumin then struck her infamous pose once again.
"My mother's name is Yuiyui, and my father's name is Hyoizaburo" Megumin said proudly.
Makoto, Aqua, and Kazuma all gave Megumin a dry look.
"Okay" Makoto said honestly.
(Time Skip)
A waitress brought some food to the table while also giving Makoto a wink which caused Megumin to glare at the waitress and Makoto at the same time.
"Why do I feel this way about someone I just met" Megumin thought with a blush on her face.
"How the hell is he getting all the attention first it's that angel girl and now I can tell that Megumin is interested in him, when is it going to be my turn" Kazuma thought honestly.
Megumin then started to eat the food that Makoto bought for her while Aqua is looking at Megumin's adventurer card.
"So the adventurer card can't be forged, she's an arch wizard alright. It's an advanced job that commands powerful offensive magic" Aqua said honestly.
"Yeah, this girl's magic stat is high" Kazuma said impressed.
"Also, if she really can use explosion magic, then that's amazing! That's an advanced attack for sure" Kazuma said happily.
"Looks like you impressed us with your stats Megumin-chan, I can't wait to see what it is your explosion magic can do" Makoto said impressed.
"Unlike Makoto-kun who said my name, I don't like to be called 'this girl' or 'she' I prefer to use my actual name" Megumin said honestly.
"Well eat up 'arch wizard' because we're heading out soon" Kazuma said with a smirk on his face.
Megumin: Knosuba
Here they are again on the plains and ready to fight against those freaking giant toads once again but this time they have Megumin with them and Makoto was curious as to what it would look like as this would be the first time I saw one of them up close and personal.
"Explosion magic is the strongest magic there is, but it also takes time to prepare. Please keep the toads at bay until my preparations are complete" Megumin said honestly.
Megumin points her staff to a toad that was in the distance, for a second it turned to see the party of four before it went back to it's business.
"Kazuma-san, Makoto-san look over there" Aqua said in shock.
"Are you kidding me" Makoto said in shock.
"Megumin target that toad in distance we'll take care of the others" Kazuma said honestly.
"Hey guys we have another uninvited guest" Makoto said honestly.
"Three are you kidding me" Kazuma said in anger.
"I'll take care of this one you take care of the others" Makoto said honestly.
Makoto started to run towards the giant toad and coated his arm in Armament Haki and was prepared to strike but he suddenly stopped when he looked to see Megumin charge up her spell.
"Darkness blacker than black and darker than dark, I beseech thee, combine with my deep crimson. The time of awakening cometh. Justice, fallen upon the infallible boundary appear now as an intangible distortion! Dance, dance, dance! I desire for my torrent of power of a destructible force; a destruction force without equal! Return all creation into cinders, and come for the abyss! This is the mightiest means of attack known to man, the ultimate attack" Megumin chanted.
The wind began to become more violent as every word Megumin said as she prepared her attack. The frogs looked up along with her party members widen at the beauty of Megumin's attack.
Makoto just saw the attack get unleashed before he noticed a tongue being wrapped around him before he was dragged close to the giant toads mouth and Makoto was not going to let himself become some else's snack he decided to act. Gripped the tongue with both his hands he struggled to lift the toad but he was able to do it and he looked over to Megumin who was prone on the ground and the giant toad hopping over to her.
"Sorry buddy but my friend and I are off the menu for now so get lost" Makoto said firmly.
Straining his muscles Makoto chucked the giant toad in the same direction as the other giant toad and with the tongue loosening Makoto was once again free and he bolted over to Megumin and picked her up bridal style before covering his leg in Armament Haki and kicked the giant toad right in the gut making it slam against the other giant toad and when it landed on the ground it disappeared leaving behind a treasure chest.
"That was so cool" Megumin mumbled in awe.
"Are you alright Megumin-chan" Makoto asked in wonder.
"Y-yes thank you for saving me" Megumin said honestly with a massive blush.
"No problem, by the way that explosion of yours was pretty awesome, but I think it would be better if we used it only when we need it" Makoto said honestly.
"N-no I-" Megumin began to argue.
"Crap! Kazuma-san, Aqua-san is being swallowed by that frog" Makoto said honestly.
"Oh yeah! I forgot about her" Kazuma said bluntly.
Kazuma then took off as e ran at the toad with Aqua in it's mouth.
"Don't get eaten" Kazuma said honestly.
Today's result: Kill 3 Giant Toads. Successfully Defeated 5 total.
Quest Complete.
(Walk back to the guild)
"I stink...I stink" Aqua said while crying
"Well, I heard that the inside of a frog is nice and warm" Makoto said honestly.
"Where on earth did you hear that" Kazuma asked in wonder.
"You know to be honest I kind of forgot" Makoto said bluntly.
Makoto is currently carrying Megumin bridal style on their trip home. Megumin's face is now matching the color of her outfit whi;e also holding the treasure chest that Makoto got from the giant toad earlier.
"By the way Megumin-san from now on you are banned from using your explosion magic, except for emergencies. Just do your best with other magic from now on" Kazuma said sternly
"I-I can't" Megumin said bluntly.
"What do you mean" Kazuma asked in wonder.
"I-I can't, I can only use explosion magic, I can't use any other type of magic" Megumin said honestly.
"For real" Makoto asked in wonder.
"F-for r-real" Megumin said bluntly.
"Huh? If you're level is high enough, aren't you able to use other magic" Aqua asked in wonder.
"I am a wizard that loves explosion magic above all else, I don't like any other magic in the detonation family. I only like explosion magic! I could, of course, easily go on adventures if I use other forms of magic, but that won't do! I only love explosion magic! Even if I only use one per day" Megumin said passionately.
"Simply wonderful! Inefficient though, I'm moved by your romantic pursuit" Aqua said honestly.
"Damn this magician is hopeless, the fact that Aqua approves it, makes it worse" Kazuma thought honestly.
"Well I guess you can use your explosion magic, you seem very passionate about it" Makoto said honestly.
"Yes" Megumin said with joy.
Makoto, Aqua, Kazuma, and Megumin all return to the guild to inform Luna about the quest completion and after that they went their separate ways, as Makoto finally opened his treasure chest and saw that it was full of gold and a few gems.

Aqua, Megumin, and Kazuma are all eating and celebrating their first victory as a party but they soon notice that Makoto hasn't returned yet seeing as he claimed that he was going out for a few moments and he hasn't returned yet.
"Where is Makoto-kun" Megumin asked in wonder.
"I don't know" Kazuma said bluntly.
"What do you mean, you don't know" Megumin asked firmly.
"I just don't know" Kazuma said dryly.
"You shut in NEET, do you ever pay attention to your other party members" Aqua said honestly.
"Calm down you useless goddess Makoto-san is a big guy and he knows how to take care of himself" Kazuma said firmly.
"Have some faith in me would you" Makoto said firmly.
Megumin, Aqua, and Kazuma turned their head in the direction the voice was coming from and right away Megumin began to blush at what she was looking at. It was Makoto though now he is wearing a traditional navy blue Chinese style martial artist uniform with white linings, long sleeves, star shaped buttons, and underneath the uniform he is wearing metal bands around his biceps.
"So how do I look" Makoto asked in wonder.
"It looks kind of cool...I guess" Kazuma said dryly.
"You look very handsome" Megumin said honestly.
"Thank you Megumin-chan, you look beautiful" Makoto said honestly.
"T-Thanks" Megumin said honestly with a stuttering blush.
"Hey can you do an epic pose" Aqua asked in wonder.
"I don't think so" Makoto said dryly.
"Then what about an opening" Aqua asked curiously.
"My name is Makoto Kamikaze, the Iron Fist" Makoto said proudly.
