This is going to be the next update I make and I am going to be updating my Konosuba story once again as my other story that is getting focused on currently Kuoh's Prince of Knights is stuck for the moment but I am hoping once I get this one out of the way I can continue working on the later of the two. Now then with this chapter we are going to see Makoto learn a couple new skills along with meeting a certain masochistic crusader along with her thief friend and maybe we will jump into the whole cabbage thing in which we will see even more of Makoto's skills. Now I know that some of you are going to freak at me for using two of these skills seeing as they don't really work with being a martial artist but you know what if Rab from Dragon Quest 11 can have a move called Pearly Gates that looks pretty damn close to the ability that I am going to be giving Makoto then you know what I don't really care seeing as this is my fucking story and I can do whatever I like with it. Now then onto other things after thinking about it I am indeed going to be giving Makoto two more chicks for his harem but they are going to be from different anime but they are going to be born in the world of Konosuba so that way I don't give myself a giant headache in trying to figure out how I would explain why certain people from different anime get transported from their world into the world of Konosuba. After these two new people are revealed then that is it the harem is going to be locked and loaded so that means that there are not going to be any more additions to said harem. Beyond that I hope you all continue to read this little story of mine and I am deeply surprised that I am still going with this one as I usually stop at one or two chapters and then stop cold before deleting the damn story but I am hoping that I can keep this one going. Makoto decided that he would spend more time with Megumin to get to know each other better, so the best idea he could think of was to get some food and drinks for the two of them but made sure not to buy any alcoholic drinks of course seeing as they are both minors. While the two ate and talked Megumin asked to see my adventurer card and explained that she wanted to know what I would use my skill points on which made Makoto cock an eyebrow at that as he didn't think he gained all that much from killing five giant toads.
"So, you can learn skills with the points you've saved up" Makoto asked in wonder.
"First you have to have someone teach you how to use the skill and then it will show up on your card" Megumin said honestly.
"Well that sucks" Makoto said bitterly.
"What's wrong" Megumin asked in wonder.
"I heard that a Martial Artist hasn't been around for quite some time, how am I supposed to learn new skills" Makoto said bluntly.
"Wait did you say Martial Artist" Megumin asked curiously.
"Yes I am but why do you asked" Makoto said honestly.
"I was hoping to teach you how to use explosion magic, but do not worry, I have a solution to your current problem" Megumin said honestly.
"Really what is it" Makoto asked with hope in his voice.
"Well you can either switch to a wizard or you can learn a new skill through a scroll" Megumin said honestly.
"A scroll" Makoto asked in wonder.
"Yeah, Martial Artists pass them down their secrets for the next generation, and if I remember correctly Luna has three or four of them" Megumin said honestly.
On pure instinct Makoto wrapped Megumin up into a hug which caused the crimson demon's face erupt into a massive blush.
"Thanks a lot Megumin-chan your the best, you just made my life so much more easier" Makoto said happily.
"Y-yeah I-I know" a blushing and stuttering Megumin said honestly.
In a split second Makoto released Megumin from his hug and made it to the guild receptionist area and found the woman he was looking for.
"Hey Luna" Makoto said honestly.
"Yes, how can I help you Makoto-san" Luna asked in wonder.
"Do you happen to have any scrolls for Martial Artists" Makoto asked in wonder.
"Sure thing let me look for a moment" Luna said honestly.
Luna left for a couple minutes before she returned with a sad look on her face though she was holding about three scrolls in her hand.
"I'm sorry but we only have three scrolls, you'll have to find more along your trips or in some stores, again, I'm sorry" Luna said honestly.
"Well it's better than nothing, thanks a lot Luna-san I mean it" Makoto said honestly.
Luna left again as Makoto began to inspect the the parchments that Luna gave to him. Each showed a skill along with the price needed to learn it with Makoto having five skill points, and by some miracle he had enough skill points to learn each one. The first one is called "Void Sky Dragon Fist" an attack that has Makoto strike his opponents with a flurry of punches to the point of creating tremendous momentum that makes him twist like a tornado in in mid air. The second attack is called "Fist of the Mortal Flame" an attack that covers that users fist with flames, giving it demonic powers. The third and final attack that made Makoto smirk at the thought of Akira Toriyama suing this word for taking an attack from his most popular franchise "The Kamehameha Wave" an attack in which the user cups his hands and drawn to the side and the user draws his Ki in between his cupped hands, before the user thrusts his hands forwards releasing a a powerful energy beam. After reading the scrolls Makoto could feel the information was now engraved into his mind and if he knew them his entire life and with that in mind he decided to test these new skills out but not inside the guild and as he walked away he spotted Kazuma long with some other girl.
(time skip)
"I happen to see your recruitment poster" the girl said.
Standing in front of Kazuma was looking at a lady knight with yellow armor and blond hair.
"Are you still recruiting party members" the lady asked in wonder.
"Um...We are! However I don't recommend it" A blushing Kazuma said honestly.
"A female knight! An extradentary beautiful one at that" Kazuma thought happily.
"I see thank goodness. I have long awaited the day those such as yourselves. My name is Darkness" the blond lady said honestly.
Kazuma and the soon arriving Makoto looked at the blond in shock as she started to become aroused.
She then became even more aroused and excited.
My calling is that of a crusader, please allow me to j-j-join your party" Darkness said in an excited tone.
"WHO ON EARTH IS THIS GIRL" Kazuma and Makoto thought in shock.
Darkness suddenly grabbed Kazuma's hand which surprised Kazuma by the sudden contact.
"That slimy lady of yours, what on earth did you do to her and you" Darkness said now pointing at Makoto.
"The lady you were carrying, she was blushing red. What kind of acts caused her to be like that especially that she needs to be carried" Darkness said in a giddy tone.
"You make it sound like I did shameful acts to Megumin-chan" Makoto thought dryly.
"Um...oh she was going to be swallowed by a giant toad" Kazuma said dryly.
"And she was to exhausted to get up" Makoto said honestly.
"That's even worse than I imagined...No wait as a knight, I can't overlook the horrors which would befall two women at such tender ages" Darkness proclaimed while panting in excitement.
"Her eyes are scaring me... she's setting off danger radar, its telling me that she is just like Aqua and Megumin" Kazuma thought dryly.
"No I would advise against it, its hard to explain how useful our party members actually are. One can only use her magic once a day, and I'm pretty much the lowest of the low for our party. Our party is trash, so i would advise you to look some- ow,ow,ow" Kazuma said honestly.
Darkness increased her grip on Kazuma's hand as he was about to finish his sentence.
"Woah, Kazuma. Seems like this girl is into you" Makoto thought honestly.
"That's even better! The truth is, this is rather embarrassing to say. While I am confident in my stamina and my strength. I am rather clumsy, so um...my attacks never hit the mark" Darkness said honestly.
"My sensor was right on the money" Kazuma thought bitterly.
Darkness began to get even closer to Kazuma.
"As such I will charge into the front lines, so please use me as a shield" Darkness said happily.
"Her face is way too close" Kazuma thought honestly.
Makoto cocked an eyebrow as he continued to watch the situation unfold.
"No, I could never use a woman as a shield" Kazuma said firmly.
"It would be my pleasure" Darkness said happily.
"Well, we...get eaten by monsters in every fight" Kazuma said honestly.
"That would be even greater pleasure" Darkness said in an excited tone.
Kazuma then looked at Darkness in complete confusion.
"Oh I get it, it's not her ability, she's in the hopeless core" Kazuma thought bluntly.
"People are freaky in the mind" Makoto thought bluntly.
(Later the evening)
After the sudden approach from Darkness, Makoto and Kazuma go their own way.
"Alright Makoto-san we'll talk about this tomorrow" Kazuma said honestly.
"Yeah, I'm not in the mood to deal with this" Makoto said bluntly.
Kazuma soon took off and Makoto started to walk around the village.
"I never slept at the inn yet, I usually sleep in the shed with Kazuma and Aqua" Makoto thought bluntly.
Makoto soon approached a local inn to see if he can get a room and when he enters he sees Megumin.
"Hey Megumin-chan how are you feeling" Makoto asked in wonder.
Megumin jumped at the sudden voice coming from behind her and she soon turned and spotted Makoto.
"F-f-fine, I feel better now, thank you for asking. Do you have a place to stay" Megumin asked in wonder.
"I don't but I am planning on renting a room soon though" Makoto said honestly.
Megumin's eyes widen at this sudden opportunity. Megumin soon began to play with her fingers and her voice squeaked and stuttered from the embarrassment that was soon coursing through her.
"I-I mean, the inn doesn't have a room available. I-I-f you want, you can sleep with me tonight" Megumin said in embarrassment.
Makoto looked at Megumin with a surprised look making them both blush. Megumin then raised both her hands from her embarrassment.
"N-not like that! I mean there are two beds, so we sleep separately" Megumin said firmly.
"Its alright Megumin-chan, I can sleep in the barn so don't-" Makoto said honestly.
As Makoto was about to head off Megumin gripped his right sleeve and looked at him while also pleading with him.
Makoto looked at Megumin who was blushing at the sudden contact, making Megumin's heart to beat like crazy.
"Why did I do that, it was a sudden reaction coming from me" Megumin thought in wonder.
"I mean it isn't such a bad offer" Makoto thought honestly.
Makoto lets a small smile appear on his face as he pats Megumin on the head.
"Alright then Megumin-chan I will take you up on your offer" Makoto said honestly.
Megumin smiled back at Makoto and soon they both walked into the inn and headed into Megumin's room before taking a shower separately before getting ready for bed.
"Megumin-chan I thought there were two beds" Makoto said dryly.
"Hm? I am sure tha- AAH! Your right there is only one bed" Megumin said in surprise.
"Well I can always sleep on the floor" Makoto said honestly.
"No! It's fine, I-I-I d-don't... MIND SLEEPING with you" Megumin yelled in complete embarrassment.
"There's no winning with her is there" Makoto thought dryly.
"Okay, let's get some rest for the night, we have a new recruit showing up tomorrow" Makoto said honestly.
"Really, what's their name" Megumin asked in wonder.
"Darkness, she is an interesting one" Makoto said dryly.
Megumin hearing that Makoto mentions a 'She' glared at the teenager along with giving him a pout.
"What's wrong now" Makoto asked in wonder.
Megumin just responded with the classic 'hmph' and moved away from him.
"Seriously I don't know who was worse Miku-chan or Megumin-chan" Makoto thought dryly.
As they turn off the lights and proceed to go to bed Megumin took the left side while Makoto took the right side of the bed respectively and both facing away from each other not wanting to make eye contact until Makoto heard Megumin whisper something.
"Makoto-kun" Megumin whispered honestly.
"Yeah Megumin-chan" Makoto asked in wonder.
Makoto turns to see Megumin and soon realized she was closer to the point where their faces are inches apart.
"You really don't mind me being like this, even though you're finally got me all alone" Megumin asked in wonder.
"M-Megumin-chan, you're kind of in my personal space" Makoto said nervously.
"You don't mind do you" Megumin asked curiously.
Makoto then looked at her face, as Megumin was about to fall asleep and he smiled at how adorable she looks.
"Yeah I don't mind at all" Makoto said honestly.
Later they both slept until morning.
(Next Day)
Kazuma was walking towards the guild hall and he reached the front door before giving out a yawn.
"I was so worn out, I slept until noon" Kazuma said in a tired tone.
As Kazuma opened the door he spotted Aqua doing her little party tricks for the people in the guild hall.
"There" Aqua said happily.
Everyone in the guild began to clap.
"Thank you! Thank you! Oh, look Kazuma, what do you think of my new skill. Don't you think that it is befitting a goddess such as myself" Aqua said happily.
"Isn't that a party trick you useless goddess" Kazuma thought bluntly.
Soon the door opened again and with Makoto and Megumin walking in and together the party sat down at a table.
"Hey Makoto-san! I just realized, where did you sleep last night" Kazuma asked in wonder.
"Uhh... I s-slept at a local inn, it was n-nice" Makoto said honestly with a slight blush.
Megumin then looked down to hide her embarrassment.
"Something definitely happened and these two know something and I really don't want to know" Kazuma thought honestly.
(Flashback)
Makoto was beginning to open his eyes from his deep sleep.
"Man I haven't had a good sleep in a very long time" Makoto thought honestly.
Makoto's attention was soon moved to Megumin who was sleeping right next to him while holding onto his shirt.
"Oh this isn't going to end well" Makoto muttered grimly.
Megumin soon began to stir as she slowly began to rub her eyes and Makoto's form began to appear.
"Man that was the best sleep I've had my entire life... Oh hey M-M-Makoto-kun" said in blushing embarrassment.
"I'm glad you slept well last night" Makoto said honestly.
"Pervert" Megumin said in embarrassment.
"In my defense you came up with this idea in the first place" Makoto said bluntly.
(Flashback-end)
Makoto and Megumin were broken out of their thoughts as they turned to see Darkness along with someone else.
"I've been looking for you" Darkness said firmly.
Makoto looked at Darkness before his eyes drifted towards her friend.
"Woah, she has short white hair and a very revealing outfit as well" Makoto thought honestly.
Darkness sat down next to Makoto which made Makoto sigh as he could feel the intense glare coming from the Crimson Demon.
"Shall we continue where our conversation left off yesterday, please allow me to join you party" Darkness said honestly.
"Nope not happening" Makoto said bluntly.
Darkness heard his words and moaned in arousal.
"Such a snap decision" Darkness said happily.
"That made her happy" Makoto asked in concern.
"Haha! That won't work Darkness-chan you can't be pushy" the white haired girl said honestly.
"Uh, who are you exactly" Makoto asked in wonder.
"Oh my name is Chris, I am a thief as you can plainly see, that girl next to you is a friend of mine" Chris said honestly.
"Oh thank goodness someone normal" Kazuma said happily.
"I heard you were in need of recruiting, I would love to join you along with Darkness-chan but I-" Chris was about to finish.
"I don't know why but something tells me to keep her around and for some odd reason I feel like I know her from somewhere" Makoto thought firmly
"Your in" Makoto said bluntly.
"Uh? I mean-" Chris was once again cut off.
"I say that the both of you are in" Makoto said firmly.
