Author has written 1 story for X-Com. My profile will, unfortunately, be a bit sparse, as I'm not one to talk extensively about myself. I work for a living and relax in my off time with video games, tabletop games, music, and writing. I've been writing in one form or another for many years, and ideas are always coming and going. The trick is always finding that time to put them to paper. Er... document. Stupid electronic format... In spite of, or rather because of, my many years of writing, I always welcome review and constructive criticism. I'm always looking to better myself as a writer, and take such matters as an opportunity to learn my strengths and weaknesses and improve accordingly. Specifics are always welcome, as vagaries tend to get dumped to the side. Work is always a challenge, and the nature of it means that sometimes my schedule does get flipped about or I'm working longer hours than normal for a short period of time. My goal is to stick to a relatively steady schedule of writing-editing-publishing, as that pattern works best for me. So if I miss a deadline, it's going to be more a matter of work concern than writing, but I'll be doing my level best to keep the ball rolling. As always, if you have questions about the story or other topics, my inbox is always open. For now, my sole story is a spin-off of Xabiar's masterwork trilogy set within the XCOM: Enemy Unknown universe. I highly recommend giving it a read, both as a matter of reading a truly amazing story that moves from humble fan fiction to truly epic tales of struggle and conflict, but also because, as a spin-off, my story will have certain characters, locations, and concepts that would be prohibitively detailed in his work for me to go back and reiterate it all. I make every effort I can, where I can, to make the story as readable and enjoyable without that prior reading, but it would help tremendously to have that reading experience going into my own story. |
