It has been a month since the blue devil known as the alien hedgehog Sonic had moved in with Tom and Maddie Wachowski; now he was there for Movie Night which would be moved earlier so that he could join in before his bedtime. Tom and Maddie had time to take in that their new alien son had been spying on them for years which includes their Movie Nights; which had them watch quite a few R rated films in their time.
Now Sonic was now pleading with them to pick Predator for this time with Maddie sighing as soon Tom joined in, "Now don't go repeating any profanity in here Sonic you son of a gun!" Tom said as he and Sonic then done a handshake and air arm wrestling contest in the air. "We don't quite pull it off like Schwarzenegger or Carl Weathers do we Maddie?" Tom asked and Maddie smirking amused just shook her head.
Suddenly they sounds coming from the garbage outside with the dog Ozzy barking at the direction, "So it's the racoons again; the worse repeat offending criminals in all of Green Hills!" Tom muttered getting up to deal with them but Sonic got up as well.
"Don't worry Donut Lord; let the big blue hedgehog take care of them for you!" Sonic said as he ran at super speed outside the house as they followed. There were two racoons at the trash and meowing as they were facing something in between the bins. "Get lost you two creatures that have masks permanently attached to your fur! Be warned I am a master with nun chucks!" Sonic yelled at them scaring them off and went to see what they were ganging up on.
He saw a frightened little kitten as he picked him up with a smile "why hello there; were those big bullies picking on you? Well you're safe now thanks to Sonic... Ow!" Sonic started yelling as he felt the kitten claw him in the eye as Tom and Maddie went to check on him in worry and then Maddie looked to see to make sure his eyes was alright. "That's gratitude for ya! Why don't I just leave him with the trash!" Sonic yelled angrily looking at the kitten in the eye as Maddie gently got it from him.
"I bet Whiskers is very sorry about that; he is just scared and all." Maddie said confusing Sonic, "He belongs to the neighbours so why don't you get the movie ready while I take him home." Maddie said as Sonic waved goodbye to Whiskers feeling his eye better.
"The least we could do considering we are using their wifi, come on Sonic!" Tom laughed as they were heading back in when they saw a woman running to their house worry along with a young teenage girl.
"Are you alright Mrs Wachowski? We were looking out the house when we heard a yell coming from here?" The girl asked concerned but her eyes widened when she saw Whiskers as Maddie passed him over. "Tina has been so worried about you Whiskers; sorry Mrs Wachowski but we accidentally left the door open and he got out." The girl said apologetically relieved to see that the kitten was alright.
"Don't worry about it Luci; he just had a run in with some racoons but we saved him so he should be alright if a little shaken. If you are worried then you can make an appointment with me at my office and I will be happy to give him a proper check up." Maddie replied waving to Luci and her mother as Sonic thought he saw Luci spot him but he went to hide behind the door and listening in.
"Thank you for this Maddie and I hope everything is alright with rebuilding your house after what happened; Luci and Tina were scared thinking that the house would be under attack next." Luci's mother told Maddie and she thanked her for that. "Plus I hope you are doing well with the business of Tom being declared a terrorist and the business with the Blue Devil and that man with the moustache in the giant machine." Luci's mother whispered into her ear and Maddie gave an innocent smile in return.
"No such guy has ever existed in the United States and the Blue Devil is pretty much long gone by now..." Maddie whispered into her ear and waved them goodbye as they waved back as they left.
The Wachowskis then got back into the house as Sonic said "the girl there; I think she saw me..."
"Don't worry about it; Luci is a nice girl and even if she did see you, there is no way she would have any ill intent. Now just relax as we watch an alien warrior hunt down tough guys." Tom told Sonic as he soon forgot about it with him getting excited for the movie.
14 year old Luci smiled as she saw Tina who was outside the house be relieved and relieved to find Whiskers who they were looking for in Luci's arms. "Mrs Wachowski found him having a run in with the racoons that keep bothering the house; he will be happy to be home safe and sound." Their mother told Tina as Luci handed him over and petted his head.
They went in as Luci asked Tina if they could talk alone, Tina confused nodded but follow Luci to her room as she closed the door. "I heard yelling and after I got Whiskers back from Mrs Wachowski... I think I saw him the Blue Devil."Luci told Tina as Tina had her mouth wide open. They heard about the Blue Devil from the Carl man that got himself banned from being near the schools since he wanted to try and warn the children about the super fast Blue Devil.
Then came after the scary power blackout with Tina being so scared that Luci decided to let her sleepover in her room to keep her company and to make sure she was alright, then there was the shooting noises they heard the next day which further scared them. Days later they heard that at night apparently people around the town saw the Blue Devil fighting some sort of guy in a spacecraft, rallying behind Sheriff Tom Wachowski as he defended the creature and the Blue Devil sent the scary guy to another world. People suspected that the Wachowskis could still be housing him as the Blue Devil was now an open secret in Green Hills.
"So what did he look like and what is he like?" Tina excitedly asked as Luci asked her to calm down for now.
"Blue and more like a hedgehog than a devil; Sheriff Wachowski and Mrs Wachowski must have him living with them and don't want people to know." Luci told her as Tina's face fell.
"He must not have very much friends if he has been hiding. Do you think if we spot him we can see if he wants to be our friend? We could introduce him to our Backyard Gang!" Tina asked as her face lightened up and Luci nodded.
"We will have to keep our eyes peeled but who knows? We could introduce him to our purple dinosaur friend." Luci told her as Tina's smile grew.
I know it's popular to hate Barney but growing up on videos and watching him on TV makes it impossible for me to hate Barney. Here in this universe the Backyard Gang videos as well as the first season of Barney and Friends are in modern day (relatively since the original Backyard Gang videos would have taken place years before) in Green Hills.
