Days later Sonic had been thinking about having 2 new human friends now who were more around his new age besides Jojo off course but she lived all the way in San Francisco, would they have similar interests since he has already seen that Tina unlike most kiss loves school? It was something for him to ponder with them saying that they have friends in some sort of club that they want to introduce him to. Would any of them end up being scared of him?

No, of course not since Tina found him fluffy and children would react better to a colourful alien animal than adults would as he had firsthand knowledge since Jojo upon meeting him decided to give him a pair of her shoes as a gift so he wouldn't hurt his feet anymore.

Right now it was in the afternoon and Sonic went out for a run in the forest but he had a curfew off course, something to deal with now that he had Donut Lord and Pretzel Lady as his parents now. He ended up stopping himself when he found that he was about to literally run into Crazy Carl who was hiding behind a large rock with binoculars.

"Oh hey Carl; nice to see you again! Been a while and so are you still trying to catch me?" Sonic asked laughing noticing that Crazy Carl ha set up some of his traps around the area where Crazy Carl was watching.

"Oh no Blue Devil; I have new prey to catch now! There is some sort of humanoid creature running and cart wheeling about the forest here, saw him at the weekend! Has bright yellow pants, striped socks, a black jacket with polka dots, a blue bowtie, a big nose and most peculiar of all a bowler hat!" Crazy Carl explained as Sonic batted an eye.

"The bowler hat was the peculiar thing huh? Well I will leave you to it and good luck with your hunt!" Sonic said continuing on with his as Crazy Carl gave a thumbs up and went back to his binoculars. Sonic made sure to go around the traps Crazy Carl had set without setting them off until he reached a park not far from the forest. He saw a boy and a girl walking behind a woman who was their mother saying that they are almost there.

The mother looked like she should be a celebrity guest star on Scooby Doo.

Sonic noticed falling from the backpack that the boy had was a purple toy so he went and grabbed it at super speed, he saw it was a purple plush toy of a dinosaur that didn't really look so scary. "How about I give you a ride before I give you back to your friends?" Sonic asked smirking putting the toy in his arms as he gave a run around the area of the forest before going back to the park and saw boy and girl sitting down at the park so at his full speed he went and placed the toy next to them and went back to the forest.

Climbing up a tree he decided to have a nap before continuing on with his day.

At the park were Luci and Tina who had picked up their friends Derek and Adam before heading there, Luci being the oldest saying that she would take them back to their houses safely. The final 2 members of their Backyard Gang club Michael and Amy arrived with their mother who let them play amongst themselves while she read from the bench and said to call her if they have an emergency or want her to join in a game.

They were wondering on what to do first when Tina asked "how about we ask Barney what he would like to do first?" Michael and Amy were surprised to find Barney the purple dinosaur toy next to them as they didn't remember taking him out. They imaged as he transformed into his big shape but they were worried when he saw that he was having trouble with his balance and they helped him by catching his hands.

"Thanks for that kids, I am getting all dizzy and right now I can see at least five of each of you at once!" Barney said finishing it off with his laugh before he finally caught him. "My new friend gave me a ride after he picked me up after falling from your backpack Michael! He put me right next to you when we were done and it was quite a ride!" Barney explained as they were surprised.

"Sorry about that Barney." Michael said apologetically as Barney said that it was alright.

"Wait, how could we not have seen your new friend Barney? We would have noticed if he put you down." Adam asked as the six began wondering that as well.

"He went so fast that you probably couldn't see him; you wouldn't believe how fast he was! I would get myself puffed out if I tried to run as fast as he did on my own!" Barney explained with 4 of them being surprised but Luci and Tina had their eyes widen.

"Wait Barney; was he blue with fluffy quills and big eyes?" Tina asked and Barney giving a nod as the four then looked towards her. "Luci, Sonic must be near and we can introduce him to our friends now!" Tina told Luci excitedly with the four just looking confused.

"Sonic? Whose Sonic?" Amy asked Luci had a grin on her face.

"Sonic is our new friend who helped save our kitty Whiskers from racoons when he got out and went next door. We found him the next day and he is our new friend. You might know him as a Blue Devil!" Luci explained surprising him.

"No way, are you really saying you have seen the Blue Devil? The one who was all electric blue at night against the man in the flying robot suit?" Derek asked as Tina and Luci nodded.

"Would he even still be here? He could be far away if he is that fast?" Amy pointed out disappointing them with that being pointed out.

"We could still try calling out and see if he answers?" Barney suggested as they went to the edge of the park calling out Sonic's name.

This ended up being heard by Sonic waking him from his nap as he jumped down from the tree and stayed hidden as he peaked at the park noticing his two new friends.

He had a face filled with glee as he went to ran to them but stopped in front of Barney as he looked up and said "okay I need to speak to Donut Lord about what was in the fast food delivery place he orded from last night..."

Hope you caught the reference to Barney Live from New York with the Winkster also known as major nightmare fuel from my childhood along with Angela Anaconda, the puppet head in the straw from the Toon Heads block on Cartoon Network (anyone else remembers when they used to do that?) and the talking head statue from Art Attack. Seriously Winkster looks scarier than Freddy Krueger and I won't back down from that. Probably doesn't help that I own the Toony Terrors figure of Freddy.

Fun fact but I did make a reference to the fact that Sandy Duncan played Michael and Amy's mother. Plus not only was she was on Scooby Doo but twice with the most recent one in Scooby Doo and Guess Who (still waiting on a possible Ghoul School episode) being a sequel to the episode from the New Scooby Doo Movies episode she had guest starred in with both episodes about filming a movie with the villain being dressed as Mr Hyde.

Using the original Backyard Gang from the original videos especially since in the TV show the cast revolved on which of the characters they had would appear in the episode.
