These are just some one-shots that I have on the idea that if Summer was still alive, these are how these scenes would go. So, Summer has the semblance of flash step, and she has mastered it kind of like Yoruichi or Soi-Fon in Bleach. Her weapons are chain axes that can be turned into guns, I call it Galaga Rose. Also, her outfit is different because I don't really like the combat skirts and she is Qrow's wife because I like that theory, I don't know why really but I do. Anyway, that's enough rambling, on with the one shot!

Fall of Beacon:

The fight between Cinder and Pyrrha had reached its climax, even though it was tough one for sure. Pyrrha Nikos may have been weaker than Cinder Fall thanks to Cinder getting the maiden powers, but that did not mean that Pyrrha would go down without a fight. She got some good hits on Cinder, but the woman was just too powerful with those powers. With that wound in her ankle all Pyrrha could do was pant and be on the ground, not being able to do anything else.

"It's unfortunate that you were promised a power that was never truly yours. Don't worry though, I will use that power to do things that you could never even imagine." Cinder said sinisterly with a smirk on her face.

"Do you believe in destiny?" Pyrrha asked seriously as she looked Cinder dead in the eye and Cinder narrowed her eyes.

"Yes." Cinder answered and created a glass bow with a fire arrow knocked and ready, she then released but found that the arrow disappeared.

"What the hell?!" Cinder asked enraged and then she heard a voice.

"Hey." A voice said and both Cinder and Pyrrha looked to their left, and Cinder narrowed her eyes in anger.

It was a woman that looked a lot like Ruby Rose, but she was dressed different and had a different weapon. She was wearing a combat suit that was all black, her shoulders were exposed, and her arms were covered with black sleeves and had chains wrapped around them. She wore a cloak similar to Ruby, but it was white and she had the hood on, and her arms also had red arm guards. Her hands had gloves on them, and in her hands were dual axes and Cinder's arrow that she had fired off.

Cinder looked at this woman with narrowed eyes, already knowing that she was more dangerous than the Nikos girl. Not just because of the weapons, but the way her stance was and how confident she looked. This woman was clearly an experienced huntress, even though Salem nor her associates had ever mentioned her before. What really freaked Cinder out was the way the woman appeared out of nowhere and snatched her arrow, she didn't even sense her…

"Are you looking for this?" Summer asked before she snapped the arrow in half.

"You bitch who are you?" Cinder snarled.

"My name is Summer Rose; you are Cinder Fall correct? My husband warned me that you and the other two that hurt Amber might be here, but it seems we were outsmarted. No matter, I admit that it took me a little while to get here since I was helping the people in Vale handle those White Fang members, but I am here now. You should be ashamed of yourself, fighting a child just to get power for yourself." Summer chastised and Cinder growled.

Just then rose petals appeared and a figure had managed to pick Pyrrha up and get her away from Cinder. The figure was undoubtedly Ruby Rose who had made it to the top of the tower thanks to Weiss Schnee's glyph semblance. When the girl got to the top she immediately saw Pyrrha down and in pain, so she knew the first thing she had to do was get her safety. Now that Pyrrha was away from Cinder, Ruby looked at the madwoman in hate and Cinder glared back.

"Great, now the other one is here!" Cinder spat in anger.

"Of course I am, you're not going to hurt Pyrrha anymore! Wait a second, Mom you're here too?!" Ruby asked shocked as she just looked at her mother who chuckled a bit.

"Yes Petal I'm here, apologies for the delay but I was in a different zone helping the people get to safety. I'm here now though and I need you to get your friend out of here while I handle this annoyance." Summer said in a serious tone, but Cinder just growled.

"None of you are going anywhere!" Cinder said enraged as she formed fire from her hands.

Cinder was about to make some weapons but froze as Summer Rose was suddenly right in Cinder's face, then proceed to kick Cinder into a pillar. Ruby and Pyrrha had watched the woman in awe and amazement, seeing Summer act so quickly that they couldn't even see her move. Pyrrha was thankful that the woman had saved her life, considering that she knew that there was little chance she could survive in that situation. Ruby just loved seeing her mom kick butt.

"Ruby do as I say, go!" Summer commanded and her daughter flinched but did as she was told.

"Be careful Mom!" Ruby said as she and Pyrrha escaped thanks to her semblance and Cinder got back up and was livid.

"How dare you get in my way! Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter since I have the powers of the Fall Maiden now. You may have gotten a couple of hits on me but that is because I was off guard, but now you don't stand a chance! Your skills have no measure to the power of a maiden!" Cinder said confidently but frowned when she heard Summer laughing.

"If you actually believe that powers you got a few minutes ago will make a difference in this fight, then you are more of a moron than that master of yours." Summer said amused and Cinder's eyes widened but then she growled.

"We will see about that!" Cinder snarled as she got ready to fight.

Cinder shot off another arrow, but Summer seamlessly dodged and she vanished and then reappeared close to Cinder, engaging in close combat. Summer's semblance was called Flash Step, like her daughter her semblance allowed her to move at an incredible speed but only certain distances. However, Summer had incorporated her semblance with her style that made her tough to catch and difficult to predict, as Cinder was now seeing.

Summer was beating Cinder in close combat, something that Cinder couldn't believe because that was one of her specialties. It did not matter what kind of weapons Cinder created, Summer and Galiga Rose were there to counterattack. Summer even destroyed one of Cinder's blades and proceed to give her a good roundhouse kick. Cinder got up enraged and then sent some fire magic at Summer, to which Summer put her axes into gun mode and destroyed the fire daggers.

Summer proceeded to wrap the chains around Cinder good and tight, then propelled herself before kicking Cinder in the stomach, knocking the wind out of her. Cinder was knocked back and grunted, yet as soon as she got up Summer used her semblance to give her a mini beatdown before Cinder sent some fire her way, forcing Summer to dodge. Still, Summer had barely taken any damage whereas Cinder was the complete opposite as she was panting.

Cinder could not believe that this was happening, everything was going so well and she finally got the maiden powers that she longed for. She was about to kill that brat Pyrrha Nikos who didn't deserve the power, and here came the mother of that damn little red. Cinder was aware of Qrow Branwen, he was the bastard that prevented her from getting the powers the first time. Though she never knew that his wife was also a hunter, and apparently a more dangerous hunter…

Summer was continuing her assault on the new Fall Maiden, fully taking advantage of the fact that she had not mastered her powers yet. It was true that Cinder was more powerful than her daughter and her friends, but that was because they were just students. They didn't know how to fight to their full advantages or how to analyze their opponents. It was how Summer could tell that Cinder would be an easy opponent, considering that she had a temper and would get lost in it. It honestly reminded Summer of her former partner and best friend Raven, but that was a topic for another time.

Summer had kept chipping away at her enemy's aura, carefully dodging the long range attacks sent at her with her semblance. She could tell that the girl was getting tired and more importantly she was getting frustrated. That is exactly what Summer wanted, this meant that Cinder would likely fight more recklessly, leaving herself open and giving Summer more chances to attack. This proved to be true as Summer found she could dodge more easily and was counterattacking with ease.

"How is this even happening?!" Cinder asked enraged.

"Is it not obvious? Earlier you did beat Miss Nikos, but she is still a child who has yet to complete her training. I on the other hand am an actual huntress and have more experience than you, not to mention I am especially skilled at reading my enemies. There is also the fact that you believed that just because you got the maiden powers meant that you would be unstoppable. Unfortunately for you, those powers take years to master, time you don't have…" Summer said coldly as she narrowed her eyes, ready to end this.

Cinder growled and thought about what she should do next, considering that she was about to lose this battle. It pained her to admit it, but she didn't have fully control over her new powers, at least not as much as she should to take down the huntress before her. That is when Cinder widened her eyes and gained a devilish smirk on her face. She may have been overpowered by Summer, but that did not mean she was out of tricks…

"You're the one who doesn't have a lot of time!" Cinder said evilly as she called the dragon grimm to her.

"Hmm, forgot about that." Summer admitted a bit sheepishly as she sheathed her weapons.

"Heh, you acknowledge your defeat do you? Very honorable, turn her into ash!" Cinder commanded the dragon, but Summer was just smiling.

'Been a while since I did this…' Summer thought with a smirk as her eyes started glowing and then the entire area was suddenly covered in white.

"WHAT?!" Cinder screamed as she engulfed by the white blaze and so was the dragon.

The technique that was used was one that belonged only to those who had silver eyes, such as Summer and Ruby Rose. Summer had learned long ago of this power and when she learned that the grimm witch Salem was after people like her she stopped using the technique to take herself off the radar. She would always have it in her back pocket for emergencies, such as a giant grimm dragon about to incinerate her.

The end result of her using the secret technique was the grimm dragon seemingly frozen on top the tower and Cinder Fall was nowhere to be found. Summer could not help but let out a sigh of relief, as the two most dangerous creatures of this nightmare had apparently been neutralized. Knowing that Ruby had made it out of the battlefield also gave her confidence to go into the fight with Cinder with a calm mind. Then Summer leaned to the left and used a rock to stop herself from falling.

"I guess using these eyes after so long causes some drawback…" Summer chuckled as she felt the adrenaline where off and she was tired, then she heard a familiar voice.

"Shortstack!" Yelled the voice of Qrow Branwen as he came running to his wife.

"Hello Stilts, seems you missed all the fun." Summer teased as her husband hugged and she hugged back.

"Dammit woman, why is it you always have to steal the show for yourself?" Qrow growled playfully and his wife just rolled her eyes.

"It's not my fault that I always appear to be at the right place at the right time, but enough about that. Qrow how are the girls and the others? Is anyone hurt?" Summer asked in a worried tone and Qrow looked down.

"Ruby is fine…" Qrow said and Summer sighed in relief.

"That is great, and what about Yang?" Summer asked and Qrow looked away.

"…" Qrow was silent as he couldn't find the words and Summer started to worry.

"Qrow? How is Yang?" Summer asked again and Qrow sighed.

"Come on…" Qrow said in a sad tone as helped his wife down the tower.

Qrow and Summer got down from the tower and got to where the others were. People that were injured were being treated and ambulances had arrived to transport them to the hospital. Summer had finally noticed Ruby who was crying and was hovering over a figure who Summer was shocked to find out was Yang. She was even more shocked to see that her arm was missing and it honestly made her want to throw up.

"Wh-what the hell happened?!" Summer asked horrified.

"That damn bull faunus from the White Fang did this and injured her cat faunus friend in the process. She apparently brought here to be treated and she was crying, repeating that she was sorry over and over. I hate that these kids had to go through that, and I don't know what we are going to tell Tai." Qrow said in sadness and Summer understood.

Summer knew that Taiyang's heart was still trying to heal after Raven had left him and their daughter, and Yang was the only thing that gave him happiness. She and Qrow had no doubt that Tai seeing his baby girl like this would bring him down further into despair. The good thing is that they would be there to pick her back up, and Yang was strong, Summer had no doubt that she would come back from this. They all just had to believe in her and that was not a hard task to do.

"We should have James create a new arm for her immediately, considering that his recklessness was part of the problem tonight." Summer said sternly and Qrow nodded his head.

"I couldn't agree more, come on I don't like seeing our daughter cry this much." Qrow said as the couple walked towards their daughter who saw them and then dashed towards them.

"Mom...Dad…" Ruby said while crying as she wrapped her arms around them and they did the same thing.

"Everything is OK now Petal, I promise." Summer assured her daughter as she stroked her hair.

"But Yang she…" Ruby tried to say but she could not find the words.

"She is the strongest person that I know, and she will come back from this no matter how long it takes. The only thing that we can do is give her our love and support, and she has that no matter what." Summer told her daughter with a smile.

"Y-you're right, I have to be strong for her." Ruby said while wiping the tears off her face and her parents smiled.

"That's my girl, come on let's get Yang some medical attention. Are you going to come with us or will you stay here Shortstack?" Qrow asked his wife who sighed.

"I think I am a bit recharged from using that technique, so I will probably go see if Glynda needs help or if there are any other grimm that need slaying. Take care of Yang and I will meet up with you later." Summer said as she kissed Qrow and hugged Ruby before they went with Yang in the airship.

As the ship took off, Summer took a good look at the others that were injured and she felt angry. How was it that someone as all powerful as Salem claimed to be, could be such a coward and order an attack that would cause children to get hurt? Those three minions, the White Fang, all of them angry fools that Salem knew that she could use for her own personal gain. It invigorated a fire inside of her that had laid dormant for many years.

It was true that Summer was not as devout to Ozpin as her husband Qrow was, considering that she didn't really know his true intentions. She had wondered how the grimm witch had stayed alive for so long and if she could really be beaten, but she had decided to stop arguing with Qrow about it because neither side would budge. So Qrow would go on missions for Ozpin, and she would stay at home to take care of Ruby and Yang, as well as Tai at times. She did not believe that she was necessary for this battle, but after today that had changed.

It wasn't that Summer was afraid of Salem or dying for that matter, she just wanted the facts before she went all in on this adventure. She would help when necessary but knew that she and Qrow both couldn't go all in when they had a daughter at home. But after seeing these students experience so much pain and terror, she really wanted that grimm witch to be held accountable for these crimes. Just then Summer noticed that Pyrrha Nikos was limping towards her, accompanied by a blonde boy that was helping her move.

"Mrs. Rose, thank you so much for saving me!" Pyrrha said gratefully as she bowed and tears were trailing down her face.

"Don't worry dear, I am just glad that you are alright and that annoyance was dealt with." Summer said with a smile.

"But it's my fault! If I hadn't been so stubborn and weak then I wouldn't have been injured and Professor Ozpin would be…" Pyrrha could not even finish as she started crying again and the blonde boy tried to console her but Summer went up to her and looked her right in the eye.

"Pyrrha listen to me, you were just doing what you thought was right. You knew that Cinder had to be stopped and you did your best to stop her, there is no shame in that. Next time though you need to think more carefully and decide your next move so that minimal damage is caused and everyone is safe. Do not dwell on this loss forever, focus on what you did wrong and improve so that you never have to be in that situation again. Understand?" Summer asked but not sternly.

"Yes Ma'am…" Pyrrha nodded as she wiped the tears from her eyes and Summer smiled before looking at the blonde next to her.

"What is your name boy?" Summer asked and the blonde looked surprised but soon spoke.

"J-Jaune Arc." The boy known as Jaune said a bit nervously.

"You be sure to be there for her, she is going to need someone to get her through this." Summer said and Jaune widened his eyes.

"R-Right!" Jaune said with fire in his eyes and Summer smiled.

Jaune helped Pyrrha get into an airship so that she could receive medical attention, and Summer took a good look at her surroundings again. It saddened her to see the place that she once called home destroyed by a mad woman, creatures of the night, and misguided Faunus who were just tired of not being taken seriously. Summer wondered where they would go from here on out, and when she looked up she could have sworn she saw a familiar looking black bird on a lamp post before flying off and then she sighed.

"Don't you understand Raven? It doesn't matter if we want to be part of this war or not, she will come after all of us…" Summer said to the empty sky as she went off to find her colleague Glynda Goodwitch, wondering what she could do to help.

So that is the first one shot I have, honestly this has just been an idea in my head, and I have one other one that I will add later. If you guys want me to put Summer in certain scenes that happen in the show let me know otherwise this will end after the next chapter. Sorry if you don't like Qrow being Ruby's dad in this, I just feel it is more interesting. Anyway, onto Jaune Goodwitch! Take care!
