"Sukuna..." Kagome breathes. She is not sure why she said that. She doesn't even know what that word means.

The Angel of Death's eyes' light up in recognition and produces a twisted smile, facial muscles pulled high against his tattooed face exposing too much gums and teeth and Kagome involuntarily shivers at that.

No, this is no angel she belatedly realizes. The murderous intent and desire to kill is too potent.

Carelessly, he lifts her up like a ragdoll. "Foolish woman," he sneers, "do not say my name so lightly."

Kagome knows she should not tempt fate. Although, she cannot help but sigh under her breath. "He's as bad as Sesshoumaru." But she does not care. What is there to lose when she already lost everything?

She winces in pain but cranes her neck and stares at him defiantly. Her ocean blue eyes clashes with his blood red ones, though she does not wither even in the face of death. She won't forgive herself if she does.

"Kagome," she says outloud and before he can speak, she adds, "My name is Kagome. If you are gonna kill me, you should atleast know my name."
