Welcome to the wonderful world of my profile. Not much to say here, unfortunately(I never know what to say lol.) I LOVE the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter(AKA: Tale of the Princess Kaguya)which is why my username is Kaguya-Hime. Can't get enough of it tbh.

This is a dumping ground for my OC fics, mostly. I have another account for stories w/o OCs in them. (Thought they're all one-shots lol) Mostly, I'll probably be writing KHR fics because it's been four years since I was immersed in it and I am still so taken with the series(it's not NUMBER ONE but it's so darn close.)

Here's what I have in the works:

The Curious Case of Mami Kozato: Summary: Mami Kozato was fated to die, used by Daemon Spade to further his insane plans. Too bad she wasn’t Mami.
Again, another SI-OC reincarnation fic. Deals with a Mami Kozato who is, at the very least, going to go down swinging if she does have to die again. Instead of gradually remembering things, Mami knows everything at the start(though her memory will fade a bit as I get closer to the 'canon' timeline). The age difference between Mami and Enma is about two years, since we don't exactly know how old she really was in canon. Expect stress training, secrets from the fam and friends, and cute sibling fluff. Now with 90% more Cozarto! AND a cover art!!!

The Tumultuous Sky and His Entourage of Weirdos: Summary: Xanxus had always known his father wasn’t really his father. From the first moment his mother called his name, he’d known. OR: Xanxus wasn’t /actually/ Xanxus but that didn’t stop him from /being/ Xanxus. Perhaps, he’d mused, he was even /more/ of a terror than the original Xanxus. Includes partly raised by alley cats Xanxus! Child “genius” Xanxus! Pickpocketing Xanxus! Aroace Xanxus! Gender-nonconforming Xanxus!
I freaking LOVE SI-OC reincarnation fics ok. This fic was born out of some weird brain thing I had that I can't even remember right now. Xanxus will have lots of additional issues on top of his 'canon' ones but he will deal with them in different ways(still gonna be the raging alcoholic we all know and love tho-you can't be Xanxus and not have his issues.) There will be body issues as well, and I caution anyone who has those same issues to tread carefully-Xanxus isn't going to angst about it so much as rage and force his way through it.

TENTATIVE! NEW STORY!: The Hidden Sun: Summary: Maybe she wasn’t supposed to exist but that didn’t mean she was going to wallow in self pity about the fact. Sasagawas were EXTREME regardless of their circumstances. OR: In which Kyoko’s twin uses Flames unconventionally to cheat in life. I combined reincarnation fics with twin fics because there needs to be some good twin fics out on the archive. Deals with Kyoko's twin, Minako, who finds herself in Hitman Reborn! and decides she's gonna disregard everything(mostly-she still cares about Kyoko and Ryohei's welfare)and do what she can(she knows she's gonna have to join the mafia because her brother will and her sister will, probably, too)to ensure she doesn't end up dead a second time. Expect a mini-Ryohei in looks and boxing expertise, a mad genius who exploits plots of other animes(OH YEAH, MINAKO'S TOTALLY GONNA RIP OFF OTHER ANIMES-NAMELY HUNTER X HUNTER)and a reluctant gang leader(you beat up a guy just ONCE and he follows you for the rest of your life!)/magician rolled into one. But also, expect a selfish, impulsive, reckless, insecure girl who makes mistakes before she gets it right and tries to add fun to bad situations because she'll break down if she doesn't. Minako will most definitely leave an impression, if not for anything than for the sheer hilarity of the fact that she applies anime logic to situations knowingly and exploits THE HELL out of her own knowledge.

I'll post snippets from each of the fics underneath here so people can get a read for the tone:

It was no surprise, then, on a particularly bad day that he accidentally lit himself on fire. Really, it happened to everyone at some point! There was nothing odd about the fact that he was on fire. He was just being stupid and was irritated beyond belief(there may have been angry tears involved at some point)and then-!

Fire! His hands were on FIRE! As if that was a normal, everyday occurrence!

(Privately, he was very fucking freaked the fuck out thank you very much. But, also, the fact that he was on fire and not burning to death tickled his memory. There was a boy-Sawada Tsunayoshi???-who was part of the mafia? Dying Will Flames? Was that-)

He only managed to stop crying when his cats showed no fear of the fire. They purred against him and even touched his flaming hands. They didn’t get burned by it, a feat that he was surprised by. His flaming hands hadn’t caused their untimely death and were actually quite warm.

Honestly, though, it terrified her, to think about her inevitable, early death. She didn’t want to die again. She would only be five years old. That was far too short of a life. As it was, she could hardly crawl around without assistance. How could she die so soon, when she wasn’t even able to walk? How was that fair to her? She was a good person. She didn’t deserve the early death that Mami Kozato was fated to have.

So Mami put on her big girl pants(figuratively)and screamed a big ‘Fuck you!’ to Fate and that was the first time she floated in the air.

It figured that she’d accidentally use her Flame’s power when she was six weeks old.

Whatever the hypothetical higher being had in store for her, Minako knew that she would have to find a way to get ahead in this life. Why give her memories if not for her to abuse them? The fact that she knew the plot lines of several anime-including Katekyo Hitman Reborn-like the back of her hand had to be some sort of sign. Of course she would use all of her knowledge for good-she wasn’t that morally off, she swore-but it would mostly be for her own benefit. She had died once, possibly hundreds of times, and it was not pleasant in the least. To avoid an early death, Minako had to dig deep in her repertoire of anime and produce something that would allow her to become strong enough for the many enemies that her future brother-in-law and actual brother would face.

They're all in third POV and are told in the past. Hopefully, I'll be able to keep the overall tone of the fics consistent. SO I'm scraping Like a Corpse for now. I didn't really have much of a plan for it, it was more like a single rib in a whole skeleton of a story. I'm swapping it for The Hidden Sun, which deals with the reincarnated twin of Kyoko. BLEH, Tumultuous Sky is going sooooo slowly even though I have the majority of it planned out.

TBH I wanna write a cute drabble series with fluff and the TYL! Guardians but? Not everyone likes music the same way I do...
