Chapter 48

This is probably going to be the last chapter. Sorry, I haven't posted in a while.

Tony called me the other day and we talked about buying a house where we can raise our kids. And yes, we bought a house with a white picket fence in a family-oriented community. With the teams help and Jim, it only took us a few days to move in. I wish Tony was home though he has been undercover for a while, and he said that he probably won't be done for a while.

A few months went by, and I was nine months along. I sure haven't been alone the past couple of months between Jennifer and her brood of children, Abby and McGee and their little boy that they named Nicholas. Since she found out she was pregnant in December. I have also been spending a lot of time with dad. We got the nursery all set up. It's would make a little girl happy. There is pink and purple everywhere. I miss Tony he's missing my pregnancy. But he can always be around for the next ones. I want lots of kids.

Today I am going to go to the theater to see Dear Evan Hansen it's supposed to be a good movie even though I know it will probably make me cry. But with my hormones almost anything makes me cry. I bought my ticket online so when I arrived at the theater, I just showed them my ticket on my phone, and I headed in. I bought some popcorn and a huge sprite, and I headed to the theater to watch the movie. I found a seat fairly easily because there are not a lot of people here today as it is a weekday, and most people are working. After I sat down, I opened my purse and got out a bag of gummy bears and m&m's and poured them in my popcorn. I know you aren't supposed to sneak food in but theaters charge and arm and a leg for food.

Halfway through the movie I started getting contractions, but I finished watching the movie because I paid so much for it, and I knew it would be ok. As I walked outside my water broke. I decided to go home grab my hospital bag. I called dad letting him know his granddaughter was coming hopefully soon. After I got my bag, I drove to the hospital I got myself checked in. Dad arrived rather quickly. He informed me he called Tony, and that he should be on his way. Good because I don't want to do this without him. Dad stood next to me as I pushed holding my hand. I tried to wait for Tony but these things you can't control. Tony made it right in time for our baby girl to be born. He apologized profusely that he missed so much but I forgive him. Work is work. Our baby weighed 8 pound 2 ounces, and we decided to name her Amy Shannon Dinozzo. We wanted to name her after mom, and if we have another little girl, she will have Kelly's middle name.

Dad decided today that he is going to retire so he can spend as much time as he can with his granddaughter. I have decided to change career paths and go to medical school and become a doctor just like Jennifer. It would give me a pay raise and I wouldn't be in harm's way. Tony has also decided that he is not going to go undercover anymore and is just going to work in the office and that works for me. We are so happy I never want this feeling to go away.
