Uhh, My writing sucks. Like... it does, very much. I just wanted to point that out, so you guys won't be disappointed while reading. This is my first story so please don't kill me. Also, I was conflicted about who to use: Heaven's Feel Shirou, or Fate/Kaleid Miyuverse Shirou. After some long time thinking about it and the help of a friend of mine, I chose the latter. And... I didn't want to use the 'Zelretch-transported-him-in-another-world-for-fun-cuz-he-was-bored-dakka-dakka-dakka' plot but I really couldn't find any other logical answers... so I opted for something similar, but not the same. Please review to help me improve.

The outcome of this final battle was obvious, He already knew that. That weapon was too strong for him to win, the evidence was trying to Analysing it for a moment. But that wasn't important.

The moon moved closer to his highest point, as his swords were quickly dismantled.

It wasn't a matter of strength, instead, it was a matter of time. Enough time to let Miyu escape.

Luck wasn't on his side, but it didn't matter. He didn't need to survive.

The mystic red beam continued to push his blades even further, now cuts and burn marks appearing in his body. Blood continued to drool from his arms, pushing his body to the maximum.

Miyu saw everything. She didn't have any time to recover and recollect her emotions, but see this tragedy and wait for her to have "another chance to be happy."

She was conflicted. First, she finds out that his adoptive dad took her under his wing just to abuse her wishing power, then his brother was following his path and wanted to exploit her power too, and now she finds out that he won the 'Holy Grail War' to save her. She couldn't recognize what was true or what was fake, but there is one thing she understood perfectly.

He's going to die.

The moment he went inside the cave where the ritual was going to happen, he signed a death contract without knowing. And then, that wish...

'I pray you to find a warm, small... share of happiness.'

She was infuriated with herself for being a wishing device, and him for his selfish desire.

The opposition progressed.

Shirou gritted his teeth. His body was straining for continuing to send his swords at the Noble Phantasm.

"Your actions were truly remarkable, but this is the end. Be grateful to perish from my Sword of Rupture!"

He continued to push on, as more of his skin became tanned.

The push continued, while the Moon continued to move closer and closer to its position.

She continued to watch in horror at the scenery before her. Miyu knew that she was the one supplying his brother with Mana and the moment her existence will disappear from this place, his Mana supply will finish...

He's going to die.

Because of letting her escape from this world...

He's going to die.

Because of his selfish wish...

He's going to die.

He'sgoingtodieHe'sgoingtodieHe'sgoingtodieHe'sgoingtodieHe'sgoingtodieHe'sgoingtodieHe'sgoingtodie...

No... No! No, she couldn't let him die. She will not let him die. Most importantly,

How am I going to be happy if the main reason for my happiness is going to die?!

Ignoring with great difficulty what was happening, she started thinking about what possibilities she did have.

It was then, an idea formed in her mind.

She was a wishing device. A device that granted any kind of wish may be realistic, may it be unrealistic, It didn't matter. The Holy Grail War was only for wishes to be stronger, as her Sakatsuki powers were still a thing. The ritual is still finishing, so she may have time.

Just as he saved her that fateful day in her scrambling house, she will save him from the horrible death that awaited him.

And just like that, more or less, two wishes were granted. One from the winner, one from the grail itself.

The Wizard Marshall continued to observe everything.

Slowly opened his eyes.

He glanced around, immediately registering what was going on. He was standing in an empty street, resembling Miyama ones; The street resembled the one near the Emiya estate. The place was familiar, he just knew that. He walked in this place many times going to school. It was snowing too hard, his sight was slightly obscured from it.

He checked on himself.

His torn clothes appeared still usable but would be preferable to change them as soon as possible. It's not like he liked being naked but it can't be helped.

4 to 6 Ribs were completely broken, a cracked bone was emerging from his right shoulder on his skin, His legs' bones were slightly cracked from overused Magecraft, both of his feet were destroyed. At least his more delicate parts were ok. That's it for bones.

His chest's muscles were the only ones actually cut, the others were slightly torn or just tired. Even if it was reassuring that he wasn't exactly half-dead, it hurt. But dismissed that thought immediately since there were the more worrying things to check.

Blood was profusing from his fresh-open wounds but it flowed out with an impossibly slow pace, seemingly frozen. Adding the fact that he could walk without any problem destroyed every law of physics he has ever known.

Something was very wrong, the instinct he developed during this Holy Grail War started kicking in. It has never been incorrect as it saved him many times.

The place is very similar, but this isn't the one he knows. The street was unnaturally quiet, different from the one he was used to.

He prepared to use his specialized magecraft, Reinforcement. A basic magecraft that was often passed on for its simplicity as most Magi preferred using something more complex and versatile, but for him. It was one of the most treasured techniques he could have, mostly after his Complete Install with his Counter Guardian parallel self.

He tried to turn on his magic circuits...

"KUH!"

...But it just ended to burn himself as an agonizing pain inflicted his mind, making him yelp.

He sighed. It was to be expected, Shirou overused them during the fight with Angelica to save...

"Huh?"

He blinked in confusion, not knowing what was going on.

It felt as if a strong bond was severely cut from his being.

After a 10-minutes debate, he waved it off.

Without anything else left to do, he started to wander inside the snowstorm.

He went straight, for then turning to the left. Going straight again, this time turning to the right, continue straight. He repeated this ploy, just to find himself always at the start point.

Eventually, he understood he was walking in circles, never reaching the outside of his courtyard. After another sigh, he finally decided to enter the mansion.

He continued walking inside the courtyard, and just when he was about to open it...

"Welcome back, Shirou."

...A blond-haired girl stood inside the Emiya residence, opening the door after welcoming him.

She has a chignon haircut where an ahoge stood out, her hair sprinkled as if being made of gold dust. She was wearing a white shirt that had a blue string tie along with a knee-length blue skirt. Her eyes were an intense emerald that started at him with kindness but also might, something he never experienced.

Usually, he would knock out the intruder and extrapolate every kind of information the stranger had, like how and why did it get inside his house, who sent him there, making the interrogation very long.

...But something stopped him. It was as if there was a connection that tied him with her, something special. It is so important that transcended space and time.

Somehow, that statement seemed correct.

After a silent minute, she still sent him a look that carried kindness and might and opened her mouth to say something.

"How long do you intend to stand there?"

"...Who exactly are you?"

The question persisted in his head. Who was she? Why was she inside his house? Why did he feel like he knows her? Why couldn't he do anything else but be amazed and fascinated by her? Why... Why did he feel like what he was feeling right now it something familiar, yet so Alien?

With the same look, she smiled. She smiled and answered one of the few hundred questions.

"I am *****."

She moved her lips to say who she was, but no sound was produced by it. Not even lip-read did help, it only served him to space out.

"Who?"

"It's time for dinner, let's go inside."

And just like that, his body moved automatically to her call, following her. As if used to follow her calls.

He entered the Emiya residence. The atmosphere he felt inside was something he never felt. It's again, that strange alien feeling...

We went inside it and she sat on the Tatami, while I was still standing next to the door.

"Oh! You're finally back, Emiya-kun."

This time a girl with Asiatic features stood in front of him.

She carried a twin-tail haircut, wearing a red sleeve shirt with a white cross inscribed on it along with a black skirt. Her Aquatic-colored eyes stared at him with profound intimacy, which was undoubtedly wrong.

Everything that was happening is undoubtedly wrong. Yet...

Yet, he somehow recognized this as normal. It was the same as the previous girl, something tied him with her.

"Any reason for your tardiness, Emiya-kun?"

She randomly patted his shoulder as if it's normal, as if usual.

It wasn't. This Alien feeling was slowly doing something to him, his soul was slowly inscribed with something.

But that wasn't it, far from it. This crazy mysterious place didn't let it end here.

"You were very late today, Senpai."

I like watching you shoot, Senpai.

His pupils dilated. His mind was in continuous shock, debate, and chaos. His emotions were going crazy. Anger, Pain, Sadness, and many other emotions collide like quivering seas. Something surreal was making him feel surreal things.

It's like...

He was scared to look back. He was scared to look at her eyes, guilt started to build like an ocean being poured in a glass. He knew that she was dead, yet...

"...No way..."

He gradually turned back, looking at the kitchen, to see a Violet Haired girl dropping her apron on the wall hanger.

...You're the bow itself.

Her appearance momentarily switched, to a familiar image, where the same girl possessed a horrified expression, with a massive hole on her body; precisely where her heart should be.

The vision lasted shortly, as the visage changed back.

She slowly approached him, a slow step after a slow step. Shirou ignored every sound produced by the other two girls, for he couldn't concentrate on them.

She was finally in front of him, flashing a genuine smile.

"Did you say something?"

He looked at the floor, his pair of dead eyes came back. He gritted his teeth and clenched his hands in such a strong way that damaged his skin, resulting in the blood slowly spreading out.

"...I'm sorry...I'm so sorry..."

He continued to look down, the guilt inside his heart started screaming at him, hoping that she would do something, anything... but it didn't happen.

Everyone inside seemed as if they didn't notice him like he was still standing, talking with each other...

It was then, Sakura came even closer and looked at him with confusion and bewilderment.

"...What the hell is this place?"

He murmured in a low voice. It was frustrating. She was here, but her attitude looked more like a broken record...

Wait.

He stopped in his tracks for then standing up. They were still ignoring him, but that wasn't important.

He cleaned his eyes and steeled his mind.

Positioning his hand on the wall, he murmured his aria.

"Trace, on."

Yelping in pain, he failed to activate his magic circuits, but he didn't stop

"Trace, on."

Retrying again, he felt the same pain, resulting in a yelp. He failed again.

"Trace, on!"

He yelped again, failing another time. Little by little, his body continued to become more tanned.

He tried again, and again, and again. Until his body would cease to work.

Time passed, the 3 girls were now eating.

"Trace, on!"

"Are you not going to eat, Shirou?"

"Trace, on!"

He ignored everything inside this place. It was like a broken record: He couldn't hear perfectly what they said, they can't see him, some people he never met.

Nevertheless, he went on.

"TRACE, ON!"

The mental image of a gun faded from his mind, Magic Circuits starting to turn on. He let the Od flow on the tips of his fingers, the azure lines trespassed the wall, information appearing in his head.

And just when he was about process anything, the world went pitch black.

"Wake up, Shirou Emiya."

He shot his eyes open.

He woke up without any warning but his trained mind was something he couldn't take off, not after living alongside the Magus Killer. First thing first, he checked himself.

"...What?"

He was very confused about he was back in his pristine condition, but he was interrupted by the person thank woke him up.

"You probably do have many questions right now, but let me introduce myself."

He looked up and saw the man's appearance. He looked old, signs from the grey hairs and beard he had, also for the kind of haircut he had. It somehow remembered him of some aristocrat. His vintage features were confirmed again by the stylish clothes that he was wearing, his black mantle and coat, along with the black pants he was wearing gave him some ideas of who could he be. Something pretty useless since the person itself declared he's going to introduce himself, but you may never know when someone is lying their way out.

The old person smiled in amusement and started his introduction.

"My name is Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg."

It was then, a very long-lost memory emerged on his mind. One where he was only a kid, while Kiritsugu and he were in India to get the 'Job' accomplished.

"Remember these two very important rules, Shirou. First, Do not never piss off the Queen of the Blue Bloods. Second,"

"Shall we say, I am very known by various nicknames like Zelretch the Wizard Marshal, Zelretch of the Jewels, and Kaleidoscope."

"Stay the hell away from the Kaleidoscope, if you want your sanity to not be demolished. Did you get it, Shirou?"

He knew something big was going to happen.

"Right now, we're inside an Interference between Parallel Scission Transfer, lateral to the Starlog."

He was about to ask what did he mean, but the Wizard Marshall just sighed and repeated his sentence trying to be more clear.

"We're inside the hole the Holy Grail War left after the wish was granted."

"Wait a second. If it's the work of the Holy Grail War..."

He looked at me with his sincere disinterest. He just shook his head for answering him.

"Miyu reached another world, just like you wished for."

...Miyu...?

Like thunder hitting the ground, a buzz shook his mind from any confusion.

He widened his eyes. Pieces by pieces, the image started to fix itself. His head now clearer, he could remember.

Miyu... a descendant of the Sakatsuki family, a Child of God. When 5 years ago the catastrophe happened, Kiritsugu took her into his family. He wanted to exploit her power but in the end, he died before doing anything. And then... then...

Memories after memories, scenes after scenes, everything correlated on Miyu passed on his mind. Before he could let the process continue, the Wizard Marshall went on.

"But, there has been a predicament that made the wish a pure mess."

Hearing this, he halted his movements. He tried to remember everything that happened that time, but no answers came to his mind.

"The Holy Grail changed its wish."

"What?!"

He was about to stand up in the heat of the moment, but Zelretch kept him in place.

"Let me finish, kid."

Releasing a sigh, the Kaleidoscope continued.

"After watching your fight, and possessing the knowledge of your certain death, Miyu Sakatsuki wished herself. The Holy Grail can't grant more than one wish, that's common knowledge... but the wish from the Grail itself was too strong that the System had to rewrite the initial wish and merge the two."

"What did Miyu wish for?"

The True Magic wielder looked at him with amusement, a weakly-grin following away.

"Of course it was your safety. But as you may or may not know, for 2 human beings to travel on a different plane of existence is..."

In front of him appeared a hologram of a post-apocalyptic earth. The ocean was completely dried up, all the green it possessed vanished away. All that was left is a lifeless grey globe.

...quite expensive."

"W-What the..?!"

He already knew that saving Miyu would entail risking the entire Humanity, but it happened too early.

"The mana this world had left was minuscule, and to realize that wish wasn't enough. It was supposed to get the both of you in another world and heal you completely, but it could only do half of it."

"Then...!"

"Miyu is safe. She completed the trip required by the wish. But on the other hand..."

The Wizard Marshall full-pledged grin showed off, the situation becoming more stressful.

"...You have been left behind. It couldn't heal anything, just secure your life and leaving you mid-way."

He stood silent. Hearing that Miyu is safe made him feel relief. Zelretch made a holographic image appear: It was a horizontal line, with a dash in the middle that divided the route.

"Let me use this as an example."

He pointed at the beginning point.

"This is your original world."

Then he pointed at the ending point.

"This is the predetermined place you and your sister need to get. Only she got there."

Finally, he pointed at the dash situated in the middle.

"This is where you're at."

The hologram changed, now in its place, there was a body. Inside it, precisely on the chest, there was a card. He recognised it: The Archer Card.

"To guarantee your safety most cheaply, the Holy Grail implemented the Archer Card inside you."

The hologram was zoomed on the card, changing again as the image turned into the form of the red bowman.

"You might experience vivid Dream Cycles thanks to it."

Finally disappearing, the hologram left them in the obscure room.

"For you to reach her, travelling through the unknown dimension is a must."

Hearing everything from the Wizard Marshall made his head clearer. A new chance was presented in front of him, the possibility to reunite with her little sister.

Although, the need for answers became present.

"...Why are you helping me?"

Zelretch swiftly changed his relaxed manner in a full-serious one.

"It's because you, Emiya Shirou, destroyed the world. The world I was supposed to safeguard died."

A few moments passed in silence, pressure accumulating from the sentence Wizard Marshall said, being broken down by the same man, closing his eyes, as if lost in thoughts.

Just as he opened them, Shirou noticed a glint of light from them, as if symbolizing hope.

"...But I am a kind man, so I will give you another opportunity, in this world that you will be sent."

"A Second Chance in this Another World."

He started to feel light-headed, as his eyelids slowly fell in their position, covering his sight. Zelretch just blew a sigh.

"Beware to survive, young man."

He fell into a potent sleep.

Uhhh... yeah. That's the prologue. Honestly, I feel like the "Archer's vivid Dream Cycle" is completely useless, just there to occupy some space. Please, tell me whatever you think, as long it isn't anything heavily offensive (I do know about my shitty writing) and tips on how to Improve would be grateful. We will see Shirou start his interaction in Teyvat during the next chapter.
