Brie wakes up with the sun shining on her face. She lays there for a few minutes reevaluating her life and what it has now became. She missed her brother T loads and couldn't imagine herself going through this new life without her. She gets out of bed and looks out the window and finds Rick and Morgan outside in the front yard talking, she watched Rick as he had his arms folded and could see Morgan pointing over somewhere which both men were now looking in that direction. She looks around the street and it's completely deserted, the whole street was completely trashed. And she meant trashed, garbage cans were on their sides with garbage lying at the side of them, the wind has definitely helped with the spread of rubbish everywhere. She could see a few walkers in the distance She grabbed her jacket and bag which were on the bedside table and went downstairs to join the two men.
"Are we sure… they're dead?" She heard Rick as she stepped closer to them.
"You have to ask, just one more time. They're dead. Except for something in the brain. That's why it's gotta be the head" Brie could see one of them is lying up against the fence post but gets up and starts walking towards Rick. She walks up to it and smashes it in the head several times with a baseball bat. Rick falls to the ground.
"You alright? Morgan asks looking a little concerned at how pale Rick got. Brie turned around and seen Rick on the floor, she steps closer to him and kneels next to him rubbing his back.
"Need a moment" Rick stands up and walks back into the house, Morgan and Brie share a look before she follows Rick into the house.
Rick could heard Brie behind him "They're alive. My wife and son. At least they were when they left"
"How can you know? By the look of this place" Morgan walked into the house and stood next to Brie.
"Can you not give him a little faith?" Brie rolls her eyes at Morgan, always has to put a downer on things.
"I found empty drawers in the bedroom. They packed some clothes. Not a lot. But enough to travel"
"You know anybody could've broken in here and stolen clothes, right?"
"You see the framed photos on the walls? Neither do I. Some random thief took those too, you think? My photo albums, family pictures, all gone"
"They're in Atlanta, I'll bet" Duane walks in from behind Morgan and Brie.
"Why there?"
"Refugee settle" Brie says as she starts to remember the things she heard on the news "Huge, when they said it, before the broadcast stopped. Military protection, food, shelter… They told people to go there. Said to be safest"
Morgan agrees with Brie "Atlanta sounds like a good deal. Safer anyway. That's where we were heading. Things got crazy. Man, you won't believe. The panic… Streets won't fit to be on, and then my wife couldn't travel so we had to find a place to lay low. And then, after she died we just stayed hunkered down. I guess we just froze in place"
"You sure you won't come along?" Rick asks Morgan as Brie looks between the two.
"A few more days… By the end, Dwayne will know how to shoot and I won't be so rusty" Rick gives Morgan a walkie-talkie.
"You got one better. I'll turn mine on, a few minutes every day at dawn. You get up there, that's how you find me"
"You think they're here?"
"Can't afford not to. Not anymore"
"Look, just one thing. They may not seem like much one at a time but in a group all round up and hungry may you watch your ass. You a good man, Rick. I hope you'll find your wife and son, you too Brie hope you find your brother" Brie gives him a small smile before entering the vehicle.
Rick turns to Duane "Be seeing you, Duane. Take care of your old man"
"Yes, sir" Before they can leave, Morgan looks over and sees Leon Basset, who is now a walker.
"Leon Basset? Didn't think much of him. Careless and dumb, but can't leave him like this"
"You know they'll hear the shot"
"Let's not be here when they'll show up"
Morgan grabs his son "Let's go, son. Come on" Duane and Morgan runs to their car, while Rick approaches Leon. He pulls out his Colt Python and shoots him in the head, killing him. Morgan and Duane separate and head back to their house. Rick heads off in his sheriff's car with Brie by his side.
Later on Rick drives down the road and broadcasts on the radio over an emergency channel. Broadcasting on emergency channel. We'll be approaching Atlanta on Highway 85. "Anybody reads, please respond. Hello. Hello. Can anybody hear my voice? Anybody out there? Anybody hears me, please respond. Hello, can you hear my voice?" Brie looks out the window as she looks on and see's a walker slowly walking out the woods.
The survival group hear Rick's message "Hello? Hello? Can anybody hear my voice" Amy answers Rick "Hey? Hello?"
"Can you hear my voice?"
Amy nods "Yes, I can hear you. You're coming through. Over."
"Anybody who reads, please respond. Broadcasting on emergency channel. We'll be approaching Atlanta on Highway 85. Anybody reads, please respond"
"We're just outside the city" All she heats is static "Damnit. Hello? Hello? He couldn't hear me. I couldn't warn him" Amy turns to Dale who's standing behind her.
"Try to raise him again" He says to Amy but then Shane comes over and tries to work the radio "Come on, son. You know best how to work this thing"
"Hello, hello, is the person who calls still on the air? This is officer Shane Walsh, broadcasting a person unknown, please respond. He's gone"
Lori and Carl Grimes are revealed to be alive and they also join the group. "There are others. It's not just us" Lori asks as looks like she is getting her hopes up.
"Yeah, We knew there would be, right, that's why we let the CB on"
"Lots of good it's been doing. And I've been saying for a week, we ought to put signs up on 85 to warn people away from the city"
"We don't have enough time" Shane snapped a little.
"I think we need to make time" Lori argued back
"Yeah, that's a luxury we can't afford. We are surviving here. We are day to day"
"And who the hell would you propose to send?" Dale questions as he looks between Lori and Shane.
"I'll go. Give me a vehicle" Lori volunteered as she puts her hand out so Shane could give her the keys.
"Nobody goes anywhere alone, you know that" Lori goes away as Shane sighs and looks at Amy and Dale who were watching the argument "I'm not putting anyone in danger, okay?" They both nodded as Shane puts his hands through his head and walks off to speak to Lori.
Lori was back to washing clothes as Shane sat down next to her "You and Carl are the only reminder I have left of Rick. He was my best friend, your husband. If I lost either you or Carl" he sighs before going back to what he was going to say "You's are all my family, I can't let anything happen to you's okay"
Lori nods her head "I miss him Shane" she starts to tear up. Shane gives her a shoulder to cry on as she leans against him with her head on his shoulder. She watches Carl playing with Sophie who is Carol's daughter.
He puts his arm around her "I know, so do i"
Rick pulls the photograph that he has of his family off of the window. Brie looks at the photograph that is in his hand "You have a beautiful family" Rick looks up and smiles at her and mumbles Thank you, before leaving the car with Brie getting out along side him.
They start to walk down the road to find some gasoline that they can use to continue their ride to Atlanta. They come upon a house. "Hello? Police officer out here. Can I borrow some gas? Hello? Hello? Anybody home?" Brie looks inside and sees two dead bodies with flies buzzing around them. Rick walks over to the truck that is sitting in the driveway, but there are no keys. Frustrated, he starts to walk back, but notices a horse. Rick walks toward it and coaxes it. "Easy now, easy. I'm not gonna hurt you. Nothing like that. More like a proposal. Atlanta's just down the road ways. It's safe there. Food, shelter, people, other horses too, I bet. How's that sound?" Rick wraps the harness around the horse "There we go. Good boy. Good boy. Now come with me. Come with me" He leads it out of the stable. "You coming?" He turns around to Brie who still looking at the two bodies, she walks over to the horse and Rick offers his hand which she takes and pulls her up onto the horse and they both ride the horse down the fields "Let's go easy, ok? I haven't done this for years" Easy. Easy, boy. Easy, easy, easy" he says steadying the horse.
They eventually gets to the outskirts of Atlanta. One side of the highway is empty while the other side of the highway is packed with several cars that have been wrecked or abandoned. Rick and Brie continue to ride down the empty side of the highway to enter Atlanta. They both ride into the city and along the streets. He sees that the streets are abandoned and there is trash everywhere. Rick leads the horse down the street where there are helicopters, cars, and even a tank wrecked along the road. "Rick walker ahead" Brie warns and points ahead.
They past a bus and some of the walkers see him. They get up and start to walk toward them. Rick doesn't panic "Steady. It's just a few. Nothing we can't outrun" Rick rides past them and goes to ride down the street. "Okay, whoa whoa whoa" He looks up on the tank and sees a dead body that is being pecked at by crows. He rides past the tank and looks up in the air. Brie sees a helicopter fly past them. Rick starts to ride in the direction of the helicopter, but when he turns at the corner, there is a lot of walkers. All of them shuffle after Rick and Brie and he rides back down the street he came from. He then comes across another huge group of walkers. Rick struggles to get away but they are trapped. Rick falls off the horse and starts to crawl away from it. "Rick" Brie exclaims and slides off the horse as some of the walkers eat the horse and Rick realizes that he has dropped his gun bag. He crawls underneath the tank while walkers still try to catch him. They crawl under the tank and Rick shoots some of them with his Colt Python
"Lori, Carl, I'm sorry" Rick prepares to use the last bullet on himself.
Brie runs up to him and kicks the gun out his hand "Are you crazy" she see's a hatch above them, she crawls up and shuts it when Rick crawls up.
Rick sits down and starts to breathe heavily. "You were just going to give up then?" Brie questioned but Rick doesn't answer. He then sees a dead soldier in the tank, he takes the soldier's gun, but he's a walker. Rick uses the last bullet in his Python to shoot him through the head. The sound of the bullet in the enclosed space hurts Rick's ears and it takes him a minute to get his hearing back.
Brie starts to crawl up to the top hatch and looks outside. She sees that the bag of guns is lying in the street way out of her reach. The rest of the walkers start to converge on the tank to get at him. Brie shuts the hatch before they can get them. Rick sits in the tank and seems very disheartened. He notices that the soldier's gun is loaded and thinks about taking his own life. Just then, the radio in the tank starts to make static sounds. A voice on the other end starts talking "Hey, you. Dumb ass. Hey, you in the tank. Cozy in there?" Rick and Brie look at each other and they both realise that they aren't alone. Outside Some of the walkers continue to eat the horse. Others are converging on the tank still trying to get at them inside the tank.
Rick and Brie are still sitting in the tank when the voice is heard on the radio again. "Hey, are you alive in there?"
"Hello? Hello?" Rick answers, eager to get an answer.
"There you are. You had me wondering" the voice on the radio said.
"Where are you? Outside? Can you see me right now?" Rick looked around to see if anyone was about, only could see walkers surrounding the horse.
"Yeah, I can see you. You're surrounded by walkers. That's the bad news"
Brie takes the radio off Rick "Listen, whoever you are, I don't mind telling you I'm a little concerned in here"
"Oh man. You should see it from over here. You'd be having a major freak-out"
"Got any advice for me?" Brie said as she was kneeled down.
"Yeah, I'd say make a run for it"
"That's it? "Make a run for it"?" Stating the obvious much, she thought.
"My way's not as dumb as it sounds. You've got eyes on the outside here. There's one geek still up on the tank but the others have climbed down and joined the feeding frenzy where the horse went down. With me so far?"
Brie nods "So far"
"Okay, the street on the other side of the tank is less crowded. If you move now while they're distracted, you stand a chance. Got ammo"
Rick now takes the radio "In that duffel bag I dropped out there, and guns. Can I get to it?"
Brie shakes her head "We don't need the bag Rick, we've got my bag that can do us until we can find more ammo. If we try getting that bag we will be like that horse out there, dinner"
The man on the radio agrees "Forget the bag, okay? It's not an option. What do you have on you?"
"Hang on" Rick has the Beretta 92FS that he took off of the Soldier, but it only has one clip. He also has a grenade, but he clips it onto his belt and doesn't tell the man about it. Brie has her pistol at the ready "Yeah. Yeah. I've got a Beretta with one clip, 15 rounds"
"Make 'em count. Jump off the right side of the tank, keep going in that direction. There's an alley up the street, maybe 50 yards. Be there"
Rick and Brie make their break after grabbing a metal shard in the tank. Brie opens the top and whacks the Walker on the tank with the metal shard, slicing its face wide open.
They jump off the tank and they run down the street, firing at any Walker in their way, killing 8 of them. They comes across the man whose been talking to him "Whoa! Not dead! Come on! Come on! Back here! Come on! Come on!" The three proceed to run down the alley and start climbing up a ladder "What are you doing?! Come on!" Rick lets Brie go up first then Rick climbs up the ladder "Come on, get up" they all pant "Nice moves there, Clint Eastwood. You the new sheriff come riding in to clean up the town?" Glenn says that he hopes that Rick would do the same for him one day.
"It wasn't my intention"
"Yeah, whatever. Yeehaw. You're still a dumbass" Brie couldn't hell but laugh at the man on the radio.
"Rick" He introduces "This is Brie and thanks"
"Glenn. You're welcome. Oh no. The bright side: It'll be the fall that kills us. I'm a glass-half-full kind of guy" The three climb up the ladder that leads to the top of a store that Glenn is camping out at.
"Are you the one that barricaded the alley?
"Somebody did… I guess when the city got overrun. Whoever did it was thinking not many geeks would get through"
"Back at the tank, why'd you stick your neck out for us?"
Glenn shrugged "Call it foolish, naive hope that if I'm ever that far up sh1t creek, somebody might do the same for me. Guess I'm an even bigger dumbass than you" Glenn takes another ladder and goes down, following by Rick and Brie. It leads to the building. Outside Glenn takes out a walkie-talkie.
They get inside where another survivor Andrea who is also taking cover. Rick immediately has a gun pointed in his face by Jacqui "You son of a bitch. We ought to kill you"
"Just chill out, Jacqui. Back off" Morales shouted as he tried to calm her down.
"Back up? You're kidding me, right? We're dead because of this stupid asshole" Andrea still has the gun pointed at Rick, she didn't seem too fussed on Brie "We're dead, all of us because of you.
"I don't understand" Brie says "How is it our fault?"
Morales stepped in to try keep the peace "Look, we came into the city to scavenge supplies. You know what the key to scavenging is? Surviving! You know the key to surviving? Sneaking in and out, tiptoeing. Not shooting up the streets like it's the O.K. Corral"
"Every geek for miles around heard you popping off rounds" They turned around to see another Survivor, T Dogg.
Brie looks shocked she couldn't believe he he was alive. "T?" She says as she appears from behind Rick as she gets a better look.
"Brie?" T Dogg asks as Brie runs up and hugs him tightly. Rick smiles to himself even though he still had a gun pointed at him. He was glad that Brie had found her brother, which gave him hope that his family was out there somewhere, alive.
She pulls away "I can't believe I found you and that your alive!" She exclaimed before their reunion got cut short as Andrea was still been giving her we are dead because of you speech.
"You just rang the dinner bell" Andrea spat at Rick. "Get the picture now?" They turn to see the zombies growling and trying to get into the store. A few Walkers is attempting to smash through the double set of doors to get to them. "Oh God. What the hell were you doing out there anyway?"
"Trying to flag the helicopter" Rick says.
"Helicopter? Man, that's crap. Ain't no damn helicopter"
"You were chasing a hallucination, imagining things. It happens" Jacqui says.
"I saw it" Rick defends himself.
"Hey, T-Dog, try that C.B. Can you contact the others?
"Others? The refugee center?" Rick asks as he starts to wonder if his family is there.
Jacqui nodded "Yeah, the refugee center. They've got biscuits waiting at the oven for us" she says sarcastically. Brie made a face at her, she did not like her attitude.
T-Dog tries to get in contact with some other survivors but get no signal "Got no signal. Maybe the roof"
Above, on the roof, they hear a gun firing "Oh no. Is that Dixon?"
"What is that maniac doing?" The group runs up to the roof.
Merle Dixon is shooting at several of the Walkers on the street below with a sniper rifle, killing some of them. "Hey, Dixon, are you crazy?!"
Merle laughs and continues shooting " Hey! Y'all be more polite to a man with a gun! Huh? Ah! Only common sense"
"Man, you wasting bullets we ain't even got" Merle continues laughing. "And you're bringing even more of them down on our ass! Man, just chill"
"Hey! Bad enough I've got this taco-bender on my ass all day. Now I'm gonna take orders from you? I don't think so, bro. That'll be the day"
"That'll be the day"? You got something you want to tell me?" T Dogg squares up to Merle as Brie runs up to her brother and tries to get him to back away.
"Hey, T-Dog man, just leave it" Morales says as he wants to keep the peace between the two men. "All right? It ain't worth it. Now Merle, just relax, okay? We've got enough trouble"
"You want to know the day?" Merle presses on. "I'll tell you the day, Mr. "Yo." It's the day I take orders from a nigger"
"Mother…" Merle and T-Dog start to fight as Brie gasps watching her brother fighting with the racist.
Morales tries to break up the fight "Hey, come on, Merle. That's enough"
Jacqui runs up and pleads to Merle "Stop it! Dixon, get off him! Dixon, you're gonna hurt him"
Merle is beating T-Dog to a pulp and then holds a pistol on him. "Yeah! All right! We're gonna have ourselves a little powwow, huh? Talk about who's in charge. I vote me. Anybody else? Huh? Democracy time, y'all. Show of hands, huh? All in favor? Huh?" He looks about to see if any of them have put their hands up "Come on. Let's see 'em. Oh, come on. All in favor? Yeah. That's good. Now that means I'm the boss, right? Yeah. Anybody else? Hmm? Anybody?" He looks about to see if anyone is going to protests.
"Yeah" Rick hits Merle over the head with a pipe. He proceeds to handcuff Merle to a pipe.
"Who the hell are you, man?!" Merle says trying to restrain his hand that is now attached to the pipe.
Rick bends down in front of Merle "Officer friendly. Look here, Merle. Things are different now. There are no niggers anymore. No dumb-as-shit, inbred white-trash fools either. Only dark meat and white meat. There's us and the dead. We survive this by pulling together, not apart"
"Screw you, man" Merle curses as he tries to set himself free.
"I can see you make a habit of missing the point"
"Yeah?" Merle questions "Well, screw you twice" and puts the middle finger up with his free hand.
"Ought to be polite to a man with a gun" Rick cocks his gun. "Only common sense"
"You wouldn't. You're a cop"
"All I am anymore is a man looking for his wife and son. Anybody that gets in the way of that is gonna lose. I'll give you a moment to think about that. Got some on your nose there"
"What are you gonna do? Arrest me?" Merle laughs. "Hey! What are you doing? Man, that was my stuff!" Merle shouts at Rick who's going through his bag "Hey! If I get loose, you'd better pray, you hear me, you pig?! You hear me?!"
"Yeah, your voice carries" Brie says sarcastically as she walks up to Rick.
"Well, officer friendly from up the road a ways, welcome to the big city"
"My God, it's like Times Square down there" Brie says as she watches the walkers. "How's that signal?" She turns around and see's T Dogg trying to get a radio signal.
"Like Dixon's brain… Weak" Brie grins at her brother's comment.
"Need to keep trying" Morales says as he watches Merle who's still hand cuffed.
"Good luck with that. These streets ain't safe in this part of town from what I hear. Ain't that right, sugar tits?" Merle winks at Brie as she groans in disgust "Hey, honeybunch, what say you get me out of these cuffs, we go off somewhere and bump some uglies? Gonna die anyway" Brie continues to still ignore Merle.
"You think you can be a racist bastard to my brother and then try to come onto me?" Brie scoffs "I'd rather die but thanks for the offer" Brie gives him a fake smile.
"The streets ain't safe, so what about under the streets? The sewers?" Rick questions as he then calls out for Glenn "Hey, Glenn, check the alley. You see any manhole covers?"
Glenn checks but sees only some Walkers "No, must be all out on the street where the geeks are"
"Maybe not. Old building like this built in the '20s… Big structures often had drainage tunnels into the sewers in case of flooding down in the subbasements" Everyone looks at Jacqui "It's my job...was. I worked in the city zoning office"
The group heads down to the basement and reach a sewer entrance. "This is it? Are you sure?"
"I really scoped this place out the other times I was here. It's the only thing in the building that goes down. But I've never gone down it. Who'd want to, right?" Everybody look at him "Oh. Great"
While Walkers are banging and growling, Andrea approaches Brie who is on the floor sorting out her weapons "Sorry for the gun in your face"
Brie looks up while she is still holding her gun, as Andrea gulps thinking she's going to get her back for her outburst "Think you should be apologising to Rick" Brie says looking back down at her gun "But people do things when they're afraid"
"Not that it was entirely unjustified. Rick did get us into this" she hit back as she was still blaming Rick.
"So it's Rick's fault that this whole apocalypse started?" Brie questioned as she watched the look on Andrea's face changed "The guy was in a coma, he didn't know what to think about this whole thing, give him a break, he is just looking for his family. He's has hope, we all need to be more like him if you want to survive" Brie pressed on "If he gets us out, would that make up for it" Brie asks as she would think that would be a reasonable reason for her to forgive him, even though he shouldn't be placed the blame.
"No" Andrea shakes her head but continues you "But it'd be a start"
Brie looks down at Andrea's gun, which is placed next to her on the ground "Next time though, take the safety off. It won't shoot otherwise" Andrea looked down embarrassed as she has never used a gun before and when she does, she uses it wrong "Is that your gun?"
"It was a gift. Why?" Andrea asked as she wanted to know why Brie was interested in her gun.
"Little red dot means it's ready to fire" Brie shows her and hands her back the gun "You may have occasion to use it" Andrea nodded and gave her a look as to say 'good to know' Brie went back to her guns but she could see Andrea's figure get up and walk away in the corner of her eye. She looked up once again and see's the other survivors trying to hatch up a plan to get us all out alive. T Dogg was still trying to get a signal while Rick and Glenn were coming up with a plan. Brie's attention went back onto Andrea who was practising her aim, Brie smiled at the sight before going back to work on her own guns, making sure she had enough bullets in all of them. She knew everyones behaviours would be heightened, they just wanted to survive just like she did. She couldn't blame Andrea for her actions cause she probably would of done the same in her position, she was just scared. But her and Rick are gonna try their best to get everyone out alive.
Later on Brie is walking about the store and see's a glass cabinet which has loads of pieces of Jewellery in it. Brie spots Andrea looking at some jewellery and he beings approaching her. Andrea looks at a mermaid necklace on the counter. "See something you like?"
Andrea shakes her head "Not me, but I know someone who would. My sister. She's still such a kid in some ways. Unicorns, dragons, she's into all that stuff. But mermaids they rule in her eyes. She loves mermaids" Andrea smiles at the thought of her sister.
Brie looks at her smiling, she could see how much Amy meant to Andrea" "Why not take it!"
Andrea raised her eyebrow and see's Rick watching them both "There's a cop staring at me" Brie chuckles as he see's Rick watching them, who smiles at them before going back doing what he was doing. "Would it be considered looting?"
Brie shakes his head "I don't think those rules apply anymore. Do you?" Glass shatters and Walkers start walking in. Rick moves and is willing to shoot along with Brie who has her gun pointed towards the walkers. Glenn and Morales join them "What did you find down there?" Rick asks them.
Morales shakes his head "Not a way out"
Brie huffed a little, there must be a way out cause if not they were about to become food "We need to find a way out and soon"
The group ran up back onto the roof as they began to come up with another plan. Rick spots a truck at a construction site that is close to their location. "That construction site, those trucks. They always keep keys on hand"
"We will never make it past the walkers" Brie says "But we could distract them"
"How" Glenn asks
"They're drawn out by sound right? They are like dogs if they hear a sound they come. But what is one thing they notice more?" She waits for an answer but everyone looks at each other confused "Oh come on guys, they smell us. They smell dead, we don't. Its pretty distinct" still more silence "I have a plan, but you might not like it"
The group follows Brie and they go outside and she drags one of the Walkers they killed into the store. Brie grabs a fire axe and the group puts on trench coats so they don't get guts on their good clothes. Brie is prepared to start chopping, but she stops at the last moment. She gets down and searches the Walker. She pulls out a wallet "Wayne Dunlap. Georgia license. Born in 1979" He had 28 in his pocket when he died and a picture of a pretty girl. "With love, from Rachel."
"He used to be like us… Worrying about bills or the rent or the Super Bowl. If I ever find my family, I'm gonna tell them about Wayne" Rick says bending down next to Brie
"One more thing… He was an organ donor" Glenn says trying to input a little comedy in the situation After a moment of silence, Brie stands up and starts to hack away at the Walker. The guts really gross everyone out and they start to gag "I'm going to hurl" Glenn says as he starts to gag at the sight and smell.
"Later Glenn" Brie says as she puts down the axe and puts some gloves on "Everybody got gloves? Don't get any on your skin or in your eyes" They apply some guts on Rick and
"Oh God! Oh jeez. Oh, this is bad. This is really bad"
"Think about something else… Puppies and kittens. Dead puppies and kittens" Glenn vomits and Brie looks up at Rick looking unamused "What?" Rick protests as Brie rolls her eyes and continues to put the walkers guts onto Rick's coat. "Do we smell like them?"
Brie goes up to Glenn and smells him "Oh yeah, but Glenn. Just in case" she hands him a gun.
"If we make it back, get ready" Rick says as he looks at the group.
"What about Merle Dixon?"Rick tosses the handcuff key to T-Dog.
"Give me the axe. We need more guts" Rick says as Brie passes him the axe and he starts to chop again.
The group heads down towards the loading dock to make their escape, whereas Dixon is still handcuffed. "Come on! Let's go, let's go!"
"Hey, you can't leave me here! I'm not fooling, man!" Merle protests as he is still handcuffed against the pillar. "Morales! Hey, man! Don't do this!"
Andrea and Jacqui leave the roof leaving Brie, Morales and T Dogg with Merle "Hey, that's my gun. You can't leave me. Don't leave me here, you guys"
"We've gotta go!" Morales leaves the roof, while T-Dog is hesitating.
Brie watches as T Dog doesn't know what to do "T, hurry up. We need to go if you wanna get out of here alive"
"Hey, T-Dog you can't leave me, man. You can't leave me here. Not like this. You can't, man. It's not human. Come on, don't do this" T-Dog groans, but decides to free Dixon. "Come on, T. Come on, yeah! Yeah! Come on!That's it! Yes! Come on, baby!" However, when he runs back towards Merle, he trips. The handcuff key falls out of his hand and ends up dropping down a drain. "Son of a bitch! You did that on purpose!"
"I didn't mean to!" T Dog protests as Brie runs to the drain and tries to reach for the key.
"You lie! You did it on purpose! Don't leave me, man! Don't leave me! Don't leave me! You liar!"
"I'm sorry" He runs from Merle and goes up to Brie "Come on sis, lets get going" He runs out the door leaving Brie alone on the roof with Merle.
"Hey sugar tits, grab the key for me" Merle calls out as he watches Brie struggle to grab the keys.
"I can't reach them" she says pulling her hand out the drain "I'm sorry there is nothing I can do, your gonna have to figure out your own way back. But there" she throws a gun towards him "I won't leave you without protection" She says before leaving the roof.
"Damn you all! Don't leave me, man! Don't leave… don't leave me!" In an effort to try and help Merle, Brie chains the door to the roof shut. "Hey! What are you doing, girl? You're gonna rot in hell! You're gonna rot in hell! Come back!"
The rest of the survivors make it to the loading dock. Glenn pulls up to the store in his red sports car and is able to lure most of the Walkers away from the store. Zombies start growling. Brie joins the rest of the survivors just in time before the Walkers break through the second set of doors and storm the store. Thanks to Glenn, Rick has the chance to pull in with his truck. "Hey, wait for me!" Walkers enter the store. "They're here! Let's go! They're in here!" Rick picks up Morales, Jacqui, Andrea, Brie and T-Dog.
"I'm in!" Morales closes the back before the Walkers can get to them and the group makes their escape.
As they drive away, everyone notices Dixon is missing. T-Dog is the first to speak "I dropped the damn key"
Brie is the next to speak up and rubs her brother's arm, trying to make him not feel too bad about what happened back on the roof "I tried to grab the key but I couldn't reach it. I left him a gun for protection and I chained up the door so walkers couldn't get in" Realising there is nothing that they can do, the group drives away from Atlanta. Brie notices Glenn isn't around "Where's Glenn?" Down the highway that Rick entered Atlanta in, the car alarm still ringing as Glenn speeds down the highway in the red sports car. He is listening to music and screaming at the rush of driving down the road this fast "Whoo-hoo-hoo! Yeah-hoo-hoo!"
