BIO OVERHAUL TIME...

Greetings from me, Wing Pikepaw, also known as Balaurul! I'm a fairly spontaneous writer with interest in a wide variety of areas who, incidentally, skips between genres and update times just as erratically, so bear with me...

About Me: I'm a high school student living in the United States (albeit reluctantly) who practises Buddhism, democratic socialism, and general insanity. :D Ain't I cool? As I've said, I write about a variety of topics. The end. I'd list them and all my story statuses as many have done in the past and continue to do, but goodness knows we don't want to bore you, do we? Take a look at me gallery and keep in mind that some of them are several years old at this point, so I won't kill you if you stick with my more current stories as they tend to be less embarrassing. Heh.

I'm interested in...loads of things. Politics, history, particularly World War II, the Beatles, writing, reading, dogsledding, fantasy, airplanes, fencing, roleplaying, music, drumming, Shakespeare, chocolates, Starbucks, religion, etc., etc., etc. Fabulous, no? I also like discussing things with others, so feel free to contact me if you'd like, I'd love to get feedback on my stories or just an interested debate partner.

CURRENT NEWS: Most of my longer stories (Uncharted Skies, A Desperate Campaign, etc.) are...er...permanently on hold and will probably not be resuerrected in the near future, at least, unless I suddenly get an inspired brainwave and magically update, the likelihood of that being slightly better for Uncharted Skies because Heinrich deserves better. Sorry to all of my beloved readers, and thank you so much for your support! My current project is What Goes On, a House MD fic set to Beatles music. Read, review, enjoy? Also, stay tuned for a new Master and Commander story (gasp!) coming up whenever I get around to finishing the chapter, and don't hold onto your seats just yet, but there's a possibility that I may start posting some of my Das Boot fiction in the Misc. section if interest is expressed.

My Beliefs Concerning Disclaimers: Here, they're next to useless. Of course you don't own any of the characters or the plot: that's why it's called FanFiction.net. We know you're not the author, because if you were, you'd be publishing your stories legally, not hanging about here. If you absolutely must use a disclaimer, I suggest you put it on in these situations:
1. When you've made up a character and you alone own the rights to them, and you want to remind readers of this fact.
2. When you use a song, poem, etc. written by someone other than yourself but not written by the credited author of the subject of your story.
Just a tip. Bear it well. Think on it.
