Update: 23 June 2012

Hi

It's been ages since I've last put the figurative nib to paper, and these days, unless the itch to get my idea down is strong enough, I can't really afford prioritise writing before studies. Uni and all, you know? (My Respect goes out to all you writers who're able to juggle uni/work and updates)

I keep telling myself that I'll go back to writing seriously one day. When I somehow gain possession of a stable and abundant means of financial grounding.

I mostly read (on , fictionpress and wattpad) nowadays. And on that note, I strongly recommend you (yes, YOU) to go peruse the stories on my favourites tab, and drop a review to the writers who have impressed you with their literary art/favourite them just like I have--they fully deserve the recognition, in my opinion.

Also, I'm Until Love on fp, do take a look at my favourited stories there too; but the stories there are mostly catered towards more mature audiences; so to younger readers: please do exercise caution when exploring there.

On a final note, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD AGAINST PLAGARISM. It's seriously a despicable (for lack of a better word) thing of the lowest form to do, masquerading someone else's work as your own. And it's been causing many a good writer from 'retiring' from the online reading sites, thereby depriving the morally-sound majority of perfectly good reads.

Hello anyone who still bothers looking up this page, here's another status update. Once again, thank you so much for your favourites and reviews of my rambly and sporadically-updated stories!

You might have noticed that Ladyinshiningarmour is now Quixoticisms. So yeah. That's me on fictionpress now, too :))

As per the previous update, my fics are to continue at a very slow pace, so here's the story status thing that some /fp writers have (and which I find useful, so hopefully youall will too).

Fate (Protector of the Small Quartet): Discontinued. Fate may have been my firstborn, and an accomplishment for an eleven-year-old me, but I can't help but cringe at my writing of that long-ago past--to the extent that I can't bear reliving the embarrassment to rewrite it. I'm truly greatful for all the readers and likes and reviewers though (and I'm sorry for abandoning it!)

Lost Causes (Gone With the Wind): One-shot. And therefore, complete :D

Like Fictions You Would Make (Old Kingdom/Abhorsen series): WIP. A word of warning though, spoilers for Abhorsen (I think!), and I didn't bother continuing with the series after that because I was so rooting for Sam/Lirael, and Garth Nix made them related *shrivels up in horror*. So because I'm such a die-hard Sam/Lirael shipper, this is gonna be AU in that whatever incestuous relation won't be incestuous in the end! YAY!

Too Much of a Gentleman (Little Women): WIP. Jo/Laurie, naturally. Bad news is that I prolly won't be able to get it out anytime soon like I'd planned because halfway through July I ran into a plot-block of sorts. The better news is that I've overcome the plot block and have a more concrete idea for the plot now! However, I'm about to begin my honours year at college, and am already swamped with scientific papers that need desperately to be read, so the update will probably have to wait until the semester is through, or until grad...? (Hopefully it won't take that long though; I'll do my best!)
