A settling evening had taken place in an unassuming apartment in a particularly calm yet unknowingly lively city of Amakusa, Japan. Hearing that really touched Naruto, and he felt that it was his turn to speak, this time. Putting down his bowl, Naruto steadied himself and began to speak. "All things being equal, I'll work on being less reckless, too. I don't want to worry you and the others again."
Katsuragi looked back up to him, her features lightening up. "You really mean that?"
"Of course. What kind of jerk would I be if I kept making you and the others cry like that?"
The conversation was put on pause for a few seconds, but then Katsuragi broke out into a light chuckle, bringing down the tense atmosphere. "You're really something else, you know that? Here I am trying to own up and apologize to you, and there you go, getting a laugh out of me."
Naruto smiled at that, before walking over a drawer in his apartment. "Well, if it's okay with you, I was hoping this will also lift it up."

Author's note: Finally, I managed to finish this story. Hopefully, this'll draw more attention to the Senran Kagura franchise, especially to Katsuragi. She and Naruto would be perfect for one another (depending on how you view her sexuality), so it's kinda disappointing how there's not much of these two together. Hopefully, this'll inspire other fics of this pairing.
