Waking up on my bed, it took me a moment for everything to come rushing back before I was lunging to find out the date, grabbing my phone from off the dresser to find numerous missed calls and text from various people, mostly Rebekah. Two days. Two freaking days! I'd been out for all that time, and now it was too late. Whilst unconscious I'd had a few more visions about Nova Scotia, completing the story for me and I now knew exactly how it was going to go down. Basically, I was too late. If I left to try and chase after them, I wouldn't get there in time, so what was the point?

God damn it. You know what? This whole town can suck it. I'm getting out of here with my parents, everyone else can rot for all I care. They can deal with Silas and his psycho ex-girlfriend Quetsiyah or whatever. That's their problem now, I'm done trying to play a hero that nobody wants around anyway. With an angry pace around my room, I used magic to locate Klaus, intending to tear his arms off or curse him with a plague or something for god damn kissing me and then stabbing me in the neck. That's the last time I ever let him near me again.

Using nature magic to get a lock on his energy, I was already heading out the door before the spell had even gotten a clear read on him. I flew like a hurricane down the stairs and out to my car, a wildfire hammering within my chest as I headed over to the Gilbert house where he'd been trapped inside by Bonnie. I have to admit, I loved her for having him trapped like a rat. It provided a very strong sense of smug satisfaction to see him completely unable to do anything but stay there and be completely helpless to do anything about it. Karma. Am I right?

Bursting the door open with magic, I strode on through the house to where I found Tyler and Caroline, both of them present probably to gloat over Klaus's imprisonment. For a moment I stopped, looking across at Tyler who had been pouring himself a drink. "Are you freaking kidding me?! You're supposed to be a thousand miles away from here!"

"Heard Klaus was trapped and that the cure was on its way to being found. Figured I had time to stop by for a catch up and plan his inevitable demise." Staring at him like the idiot he was, I decided not to even bother and instead, focused on Klaus. Caroline was currently covering up a body, and it took me a minute to actually realise that it was a burnt up corpse, meaning that someone had killed an Original.

"Who…who is…?" For a moment I was terrified it was Rebekah, but then Klaus's boorish drawl came through to reassure me that it wasn't her.

"My dear brother Kol met an unfortunate end at the hands of young Jeremey Gilbert." He said, and I allowed myself a momentary respite of relief. I hadn't known about Kol's impending death, and although I wasn't going to be crying over his loss anytime soon, it did alarm me that this was the second time I'd not seen an Original's death. It were almost as if that kind of future information was blocked from me, or it was just meant to happen this way. "Ophelia love, since these two have no intention of helping me escape from here, perhaps you will agree to being of some assistance." I almost set the house on fire I was so enraged.

"Are you out of your god damn mind?!" I thundered, everything suddenly rattling around me as Tyler and Caroline looked to me in alarm as my magic started to roll around me like tumultuous waves and it even began to express itself in an energy of fiery light around me, like I was literally being consumed by flames. "You, you backstabbing, manipulative, traitorous and lying bastard! You stabbed me in the neck and drugged me! You knocked me out so that I couldn't go after the cure and Silas and put him down for good. Do you have any idea what you've done? Now you're asking for my help? Screw you!"

Disenchanting the necklace at my throat, I yanked it off and threw it at him so that it hit him in the chest as he just stood there coldly, listening to me as I started to make things break and shatter under the pressure of my magic. "You know what? You deserve to rot her for all eternity. Everything you do is to serve your own purpose, and you don't care who you hurt in the process, and that's why no one will ever stand on your side, because everyone knows if they stand too close then you're only going to turn around and destroy them and their happiness. You did it to your family, you did it to this town, and then you went and did it to me. To me! I was the only one in this freaking town ready to give you a chance, then you went and stabbed me in the back. You're a coward, Klaus, a coward and you will never know happiness, or love. You are going to live the rest of your life as a sad, lonely, pathetic nobody who plays at being a king."

Enraged by my words, Klaus rushed at me but I shoved my hand out and flung him back into a chair and pinned him down before squeezing my fingers and created a pressure around him that began to crush him. "I should kill you. I could kill you, but that would make me no better than you." He tried to talk but with my other hand I made it clamp shut, sealing it so that he couldn't even get a word in. "So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to weave a few spells that are going to spice things up around here for you. For as long as you're trapped here, you will never be comfortable. You'll be wracked with fevers, with pain, you can't get warm no matter how hard you try and you'll freeze every other moment. Your body will go into shock, you'll have this incessant itching that you can't satisfy and you'll be so thirsty, but no amount of blood or water will quench it."

As I spoke my voice echoed, magic flying towards Klaus as he began to shiver, sweating from every pore and squirming from discomfort but being unable to move in order to try and scratch it. "I'm leaving town and I'm taking my parents with me. You guys can all have fun dealing with Silas and everything else that follows afterwards. As far as I'm concerned, you can all go to hell." Caroline and Tyler both just stared at me as I then released the magic and Klaus gasped, collapsing to the floor as he struggled to even stand, becoming overcome with weakness as my spells set to work. Taking a moment to appreciate my handiwork, I then turned around and walked away, intending to leave and never come back to this down spiralling town, and when Klaus bellowed my name, I didn't even look back.
