I was so caught up in the moment that I did not anticipate the sudden shift in dynamics which followed. The entire lacrima crystal lit up like a beacon, shining brilliantly before bursting with a powerful force of light and waves which sent all flying backwards. With no grounding to keep me stable, I was ripped backwards until I managed to balance myself and ride the waves until all was settled and I lowered my arms which had instinctively risen to shield my face. "What's happening?!" Alarmed, I watched as the lacrima crystal containing all of my guild disappeared and crumbled away into flakes of gleaming light, vanishing altogether until nothing was left.
"What happened to all our friends? Do you think they're…?" Lucy trailed off, staring with worried gaze as everyone levitated in the air thanks to the exceeds lending us a hand and carrying those who could not fly on their own. I tossed a quick glance over to my sister to ensure that she was alright before then turning back to where the lacrima crystal had disappeared from view.
"Don't worry." A smooth voice reassured us all and immediately all eyes turned towards the Legion beast which was flying towards us, carrying a rather mysterious looking figure upon its back. "They're all safe and sound." Beside me I noticed my sister's eyes widen and her body tense in surprise, staring up at the heavily cloaked figure.
"Mystogen!"
"Wait, that's Mystogen?!" I repeated with a yelp, pointing towards the stranger in shock. "The weird guy that never showed his face in the guild? That's him?!" Erza nodded her head in answer so I rubbed my head with a long groan. My head hurts from too much information. I somehow get transported to another world, trapped in a lacrima then released, met my twin sister's evil counterpart, fought off an army and pushed a giant rock away from a floating island. Let's just throw in a weird guy in a cloak and a flying beast just to shake things up a little more, I'm sure my head won't explode from all this.
"I apologise for the delay, finding adequate anima vestige to restore everything took a little longer than I thought." So does that mean that Mystogen was the reason why the lacrima crystal disappeared? "Without your efforts, I would never have made it in time. You have my gratitude."
"You mean everyone's back to normal?"
"Yes. By passing through the anima, the lacrima will return to its original form in Earth Land. It is finally over." Grinning from ear to ear I gave my sister a thumb's up with relief, however she still remained a little tense, staring at Mystogen with thinned lips. Perhaps Erza was still being reminded about Jellal. Having met him again only just recently, her open wounds must still be causing her pain and having a reminder such as Mystogen must be painful for her. Reaching out I placed my hand upon her shoulder as everyone else around us cheered and celebrated, drawing her eyes to me as I gave her a smile.
"It's okay now big sis, we saved everyone. When we go home, Fairy Tail will be there waiting for us. Okay?" Blinking at me Erza finally smiled, nodding her head in agreement before grabbing me into a bone crushing hug.
"You're right, this a moment to be celebrating. We'll go home soon, Zera, then we'll have cake to celebrate this victory over impossible odds."
"Cake! Yeah!" Grinning broadly, Erza and I laughed as we hugged one another with our cheeks pressed against the other, nuzzling close. "You're the best, big sis!" My stomach rumbled at the promise of cake and I was already dreaming about the rich, chocolate goodness I was going to indulge in. Maybe I'll even order two slices, just this once. Looking up to gaze upon the limitless smiles, mine grew further as I revelled in the shared joy of all until, without warning, a beam of energy suddenly burst through the torso of one of larger exceeds, a giant black cat with rounded ears.
"Lily!" Mystogen yelled in horror as instantly all the smiles were shattered, staring as the exceed fell from the sky before a furious voice yelled with full ferocity and power.
"We're not done here!" Oh crap! It's my evil Edolas version of Erza, and she's got an entire army behind her back. "Destroy every last one of them!" Sucking in a breath of worry, my face creased with fear as I drew back from Nightwalker as my own sister flung out her arm to guard me, gritting he teeth in anger.
"It's Nightwalker."
"Let me handle this." Much to the surprise of both of us, Mystogen held out his hand to stop either of us from moving so I naturally moved closer to Erza, feeling safer and more secure with her directly next to me and her arm naturally remained slightly elevated in order to cover me. "I have had enough of your insolence, Captain Nightwalker. How dare you point your sword at me? The Royal Prince of Edolas!" Huh? Prince? Prince?! You're telling me that the phantom figure in Fairy Tail had actually been a prince from another world this entire time? Wow…that's…unexpected.
"You? The Royal Prince? Don't make me laugh, you don't deserve the title because I never thought of you as my son!" A rather cold and blood chilling voice suddenly began to cackle, the voice rising all around us and I quickly searched around for the source but there was so much distortion that I couldn't even locate its origin. "You have some nerve. You can't run off for seven years and then waltz back in as if nothing happened. Do you think you can fool me? I know you've been in Earth Land sealing all of the animas. You've betrayed your country, sold out your own kingdom and you must be punished for your actions!"
"Where is that voice coming from?" Wendy asked, looking around her quickly which made both her ponytails swing.
"I don't know but he certainly sounds angry, doesn't he?" Carla responded a little dryly as I gripped onto Erza's arm a little more securely.
"Your anima plan was a failure." Mystogen responded finally. I felt bad for the guy. I'm guessing the guy who had been speaking earlier was the King of Edolas, imagine being outright rejected by your own father, it had to hurt. "Please surrender peacefully, you have no reason to fight anymore."
"Ridiculous! Who says I need a reason to fight?" Great, this is just what we all need. A guy looking for a fight but no mental stability whatsoever from the sounds of it, this was even worse than Natsu staring brawls all the time. Everyone exclaimed when the ground and air began to tremble with a huge swell of magical energy rippling through us all, causing me to flinch against it and feel a tightening pain against my chest as it increased the pressure around us. "This is not a simple fight, this is retribution against those who defy the King! A one-sided extermination against all those who stand in my way!"
Slowly a huge shape began to emerge from the ground below within a ruined coliseum, green rays of light rising upwards as the egg shaped object continued to emerge. "What is that thing?!" Lucy squeaked and naturally pulled away from it, clenching up into a ball and I felt my stomach twist horribly. Something about that object felt instinctively dangerous, the pure magical energy it was giving off was enough to tell me that there was no way I would be able to stand a chance against it. My magic power was just too weak.
"No matter who stands in my way, I will eliminate them and that goes for you and your meddlesome companions too. There won't be any trace of any of you left!" The King declared as we all stared at the egg, assuming that he was inside of it.
"Father, please!"
"I am not your father, I am the King of Edolas!" Suddenly the chains snapped off from the egg and it rose into the air, gleaming through the cracks. "Once I have disposed of you then no one will be left to stop my anima in Earth Land. I'll just create another giant lacrima and then fuse it with the Exceed to create limitless magical power!" Suddenly the egg opened up and my eyes widened in shock as the figure of a mechanical dragon took shape, standing upright as the King continued to declare his intentions to the world. "And there is nothing any of you can do to stop me. I am the King, my power is absolute!" The dragon released a roar and I instinctively gripped onto Erza and hid behind her a little, using her to ground myself as her Exceed continued to hold her upright in the air.
"The Dorma Anim, from our old language it means 'Dragon Knight'. It's enhanced dragon armour!" Mystogen warned us all and I bit my lip. Why do the bad guys always seem to get the seriously cool but ultimately destructive weapons and powers?
"It is enhanced armour made from an anti-magic lacrima called Wizard Canceler, it's bad news for us because our attacks won't have any kind of effect on it!" Coco warned us as she remained on her Legion's back. "The King must be inside it, he's controlling the Dorma Anim's every move." The mechanical dragon lifted its head and the great maw opened as the King spoke, directing his order to the masses of soldiers who rode upon their Legion Beasts.
"As your King, I order you to capture the Exceeds!"
"Yes sir!" No! They can't capture all these cute and fluffy cats, I simply won't stand for it!
"Hurry! Fly for your lives!" Mystogen yelled and Erza immediately grabbed hold of my hand as she angled her body and dropped down onto the Legion Beast where Lucy also landed, the three of us crouching down as the Edolas army began to shoot their weapons at the Exceeds and each time they were caught by the condensed beams, they were turned into tiny cat lacrima crystals.
"Do your best to protect the Exceeds from the Royal Army. I'm going to try and take down Nightwalker."
"What? No way big sis, let me help you." I turned to her quickly, clenching my fists. "I'll use my support magic to give you the advantage this time. I hate to admit it big sis, but she's just as strong as you are." I said to Erza however she shook her head and placed her hand against my cheek, gently smiling and brushing back a stray lock of my hair.
"These Exceed need your help more than I do right now, Zera. They're defenceless and need our protection. You can do this, I have absolute faith in you." Her empowering words caused my eyes to sparkle in wonder at my big sister, admiring her strength and confidence. She was just way too cool. Behind us Lucy and Natsu were bickering, however Gray quite rightly drew our attention back to the dragon machine down below.
"Quit it with the banter and help me out here, losers, we need to take out that monster."
"I wouldn't go near that thing if I were you, your magic is useless against it." Coco told us once more, reminding us of this thing's incredible strength and power.
"We'll just have to dodge its attacks. The Exceeds are defenceless right now, so we must do everything we can to protect them." Mystogen called out to us so we all nodded our heads in agreement. I drew in a deep breath, feeling a tight knot of nerves and fear clench in my belly but I ignored it as I cast the Light Body enchantment upon myself so that I could fly into the air and soar alongside the Legion Beasts.
"You think you can dodge me? I won't let a single human escape my wrath, I'll blast every last one of you to bits! Be gone!" The King bellowed at us all as the dragon opened its mouth and all at once, released a harsh blast of magical power which tunnelled directly towards us. I called out my sister's name upon pure reflex, flinging out my hand to try and protect her but before I had even moved to cover her or form any kind of defensive enchantment, Mystogen had moved his smaller Legion Beast to block the way and formed his own spell using the magical staffs he carried upon his back.
"Mystogen!"
"Mystogen? Don't tell me that was the name you used in Earth Land, your name is Jellal!" Jellal? His real name was Jellal? Of course, it made much more sense. If our Edolas counterparts share our faces, voices and our names, it stood to reason that Mystogen was no exception.
"Erza, take this chance to get out of here whilst you still can!" Mystogen yelled to Erza and the rest of us and my sister quickly surged forwards.
"What about you?!"
"Forget about me, just go!" Turning my head, I watched in awe as Mystogen reflected the dragon machine's attack directly back with his magic staffs in formation. "Three Layered Magic Circle – Mirror Water!" Incredible, that kind of magic power was equal to that of my sister's, probably even surpassing hers. No wonder Mystogen was considered to be one of the strongest wizards in all of Fairy Tail, he was amazing. Waiting until the dust and smoke had cleared, I had hoped that the dragon machine would have shown at least a little damage but it showed no such signs, much to my disappointment.
"That tickled!" The King laughed darkly, making my skin crawl and a slight sheen of sweat began to dampen my skin. "This is the power of Wizard Canceler! No matter what wizard faces it, no magic will work on Droma Anim. It is indestructible!" With another breath attack, the Dragon Knight fired upon Mystogen directly and his Legion Beast was forced to rear and bank out of the way, however the sharp movement caused Mystogen to fall and become caught up in the attack.
"Mystogen!" Both Erza and I yelled out to him and I dove swiftly, intending to catch Mystogen before he fell however another breath attack came shooting towards me and I had to pull back before I could be caught up as well. "You monster! How could you hurt your own son? You don't deserve this kingdom, you should be crawling in the dirt!" I yelled suddenly, becoming extremely angry and my rage began to burn through my entire body. As the King continued to triumph in hi victory, attack after attack continued to shoot into the sky and it took all of my flying skills and manoeuvrability just to avoid getting hit, staying close to Coco's Legion Beast just to avoid being struck.
One hit rather close and I had to literally fling myself out of the way, using my magic to boost myself out of the way, however as the next attack charged, something crashed down upon its head completely engulfed in flames, causing it to stagger before then being completely thrown off its feet by Wendy and Gajeel who both used their Dragon Slaying magic. "What is this? Magic should not work on Droma Anim, so who is attacking me?" Confused, the King shook off the attacks and the dragon's head swung around to see Gajeel and Natsu as Wendy dropped down from above, landing in a crouch. "You little brat!"
"Guys! Wendy!" Calling down to them I raised my voice so that they could hear me. "Are you going to handle that thing all on your own? You're crazy!"
"Just keep the cats safe." Wow, Natsu sounded so focused, that was rare. Guess he's really riled up about this King and the attack on the Exceeds. Speaking of which, we need to hurry up and get over to them. I flew forwards, leading the way so that the Legion Beast could follow me towards where the Edolas army was capturing as many of the Exceeds as they could, turning them into lacrima.
"Look over there!" Lucy pointed as I pulled back slightly, levelling with the Legion's head as I bared my teeth and hissed. The Exceeds, they had almost been completely wiped out by the army, all I could see were distant sparkles in the blackened sky. With a sudden rush, I felt the disturbance of the air as several Legion Beasts rose upwards and surrounded us all, trapping us.
"I've been waiting for you, Scarlet."
"It's my scary Edolas twin sister!" I yelped, quickly diving behind the Legion's huge ear in order to hide as Gray balked at me.
"What do you mean? Erza is just as scary as that chick over there, what's wrong with your perception of reality here?!"
"My Erza is cute and sweet and much more adorable than that crazy lady over there, Gray, you're the one who needs a reality check!" Gray practically spluttered back at me as we all looked around with worry.
"I can't believe we fell into the trap, this sucks!" Lucy complained with a wail and Coco quickly encouraged her Legion to fly us out of there. Choosing to stick close, I landed upon its back and grabbed hold of Erza to help anchor myself down, squeaking as we were tossed from left to right as attacks came from below us until one of them hit the poor Legion Beast on the underbelly, throwing it completely out of the air and the rest of us all fell.
"Erza!" Flinging out my hand I tried to grab onto my sister however she was already gone, having kicked off the Legion to rise upwards and went flying directly for one of the Edolas soldiers in order to reach Nightwalker and face off with her. Okay, my big sister was totally badass, but I hate the way she just dives head first into battle sometimes without even thinking. Sometimes, Erza could be just way too reckless and impulsive for her own good.
"Somebody catch me!" Lucy screamed for her life as her arms flailed wildly.
"Lucy! Guys! Hang on I'm coming!" Rapidly twisting myself around I tucked in my arms to nose dive for everyone who were descending directly for the ground however before I could get close enough, another round of artillery fire shot from the Edolas army and one of them exploded in my face, causing a colossal burst of fire and force almost directly in my face which scorched through my clothing and seared at my skin, causing me to scream as I was knocked out of the sky.
"Zera!" I heard everyone cry out my name but we were completely separated for one another as I was flung in the opposite direction and before I knew it, I was tumbling through the trees. The branches slowed my fall though it hurt to land on them, grunting and whimpering each time I was struck before I crashed into the ground.
"Ow." Although an understatement, I was contented with the fact that I was actually still alive and breathing. For a moment I just lay there, gathering my thoughts before clenching my fists and unsteadily pushing myself up, untangling myself until I was at least partially upright. "Man that sucked, I hope the others are okay." Lifting my head I looked around but of course, I recognised nothing nor was I able to figure out which direction I had fallen from. For a moment I began to panic, looking around with concern and nervousness until I began to hear booms of sound in the distance. "Where there's noise, there's bound to be a ruckus, and where there's a ruckus, there's Fairy Tail. At least it's something to go on." I mused to myself then took a step forwards.
Thankfully it seemed like I hadn't injured myself too badly, at least no bones were broken. There were a few burns and bruises, but nothing too bad and as I started to run any discomfort soon fell out of notice. "Requip! Huntress!" Holding out my hand I closed my fingers around the black bow before reaching for an arrow from the quiver, knocking it against the string ready so as the sound of battle grew louder, I raced up the jagged rocks then leaped with all my might into the air with a rotating twist and drew back the string. "Multiple Shot!" A large magic circle appeared in front of me and as I shot my arrow through it, it immediately multiplied in number and the bright arrows rained down from above to strike against the Edolas soldiers.
They were forced to pull back or were knocked down when the arrows hit, the magical properties of the arrows creating a blunt force strike rather than one that penetrated skin. "Zera you made it!" Lucy grinned at me, striking the ground with a rather pretty looking whip as I landed on the ground and elegantly whirled around, knocking four arrows in quick succession to pin down a soldier against a cliff which kept him from attacking Gray's back.
"I came as fast as I could, sorry for the delay." I responded before blinking, looking around me at the very familiar but distinctively different faces that surrounded me. "Uh…is this Edolas's Fairy Tail?" I was in shock, unable to wrap around my head around the oddities. Edolas Gray was wearing way too many layers, Cana was dressed like a rather posh lady, Bisca and Alzack were totally loved up even whilst fighting, Elfman looked like an overgrown schoolboy and that was just the start.
"I know, it's a little hard to handle at first, but they're definitely Fairy Tail. They came to save us after all." Lucy grinned at me as she and I stood back to back, facing the enemy with steady gaze. "These guys aren't letting up at all though, I'm running low on magic power but there just seem to be way too many for us to deal with. They just don't stop coming!"
"Don't give up yet Lucy, although we may run out of magic power, there's no way we'll ever run out of our fighting spirit." I answered as I continued to shoot my arrows with expert precision, jumping and moving to avoid getting hit by the magic bullets from the army's magic weaponry. "We're Fairy Tail, and that means we never give up even against the most impossible odds. This is nothing, we've faced far worse and come on top, so let's hammer these jerks!"
"Yeah!" Grinning with fresh determination, Lucy sliced her whip and whirled it around her head before striking back at the soldiers as I leaped up into the air and rotated, spinning quickly to then bring my foot crashing down upon one of the soldier's heads, turning to hook my bow over another and fling them to the ground with enough force to knock them out. "Hey, you're actually not that bad at fighting. Natsu and the others always told me that you weren't very strong, Zera."
"Well…" I gave a bashful grin, rubbing the back of my head as I paused for a moment to catch my breath. "I'm not so bad when I'm with other people or when I'm not fighting monsters or beasts, but my magical power is very low compared to the rest of you guys. Besides, I'm not as hardy as my sister, if I get knocked down I tend to not get up so soon." I admitted before exhaling. "Plus I can be quite clumsy, I mess up quite a lot and things never seem to go the way I want them. People tend to call me the worst wizard in Fairy Tail."
"But you're doing fine right now!" Lucy yelped, jumping out of the way of a volley of bullets and sliced out her whip.
"I guess…maybe I've gotten a little stronger recently." Smiling to her, I reached out and grabbed Lucy's arm tightly to pull her out of the way of a bunch of soldiers. "Honestly, ganging up on two beautiful women is NOT COOL!" Swinging Lucy with all my might she stuck out her leg and together we took out a huge score of the soldiers, knocking their heads together as I exchanged bows for my Blazing Fire Bow. "Scorching Blizzard!" Releasing a torrent of flaming arrows into a hoard of soldiers they all yelped and shrieked at the flames as they sizzled and burned, making me smirk in satisfaction until slowly, a distinct rumbling began to come from underneath our feet.
For a moment the fighting stopped, everyone looking around in confusion until suddenly, channels of magical energy began to flow up from the earth and into the sky. "What's going on now?" Alarmed, I made sure that Lucy and the others were alright, but then I noticed that all of the magical equipment that both Fairy Tail and Edolas's soldiers had were also losing their magic power.
"I can't use my weapon anymore! What's going on?"
"Same over here! What'll we do?"
"My weapon's broken!" Everywhere around us everyone was panicking, causing me to blink as the soldiers all threw down their weapons and ran off in surrender, wailing in fear.
"Well look at that, they're all retreating like a bunch of wimps." Gray mused, placing his hands on his hips and turning back to us. "Check it out guys! We won!"
"It doesn't matter if we won or lost, we don't have magic anymore! The world as we know it is ending, what are we going to do?" Edolas Gray lamented sombrely as he sobbed, huddling underneath his coats and scarfs as everyone reacted similarly. They were all losing their control, panicking and fearing for their future as their magic continued to be sucked out of Edolas.
"Calm down guys, it's not the end of the world." Gray tried to reassure them all however no one was listening. I could understand their fears, after all they had depended on magic for so long it was going to be difficult for them to adjust if they truly were losing their magic forever. If I lost my magic, I don't know what I would do. Lifting my head, my thoughts suddenly turned to my sister. Erza. Was she alright? I have to try and find her, she could very well still be fighting that Nightwalker woman. "Hey Zera! Where are you going?"
"To find Erza." Calling back over my shoulder, I pulled another arrow from my quiver and knocked it to my bow as I changed back to my Huntress, pulling back the string and using my magic to use a tracking spell. Instantly the arrow flew forwards and curved around, leading me directly to my sister so I chased after it as fast as I could. Even as the floating islands continued to fall, I ran after that arrow for all I was worth until I came upon a crater in the ground where two figures lay completely spent of magical and physical energy. "Big sis! Erza! Erza I'm coming!"
"Zera." My sister turned her head and smiled as I dispelled the bow and arrow, sliding down the slope before then rushing to her side. "Am I glad to see you."
"Erza you dummy! You pushed yourself way too hard and overdid it, is that your Armadura Fairy armour? It's completely destroyed!" Smacking a hand to my face, I grit my teeth before slowly lifting up Erza's head and carefully positioning it upon my lap to support her, brushing aside her hair. "You're hurt all over too, big sis, you really don't know how to take proper care of yourself. Don't worry, I'll make sure to take good care of you if you need help at all. Just rest a while, you'll feel better in no time." Erza's smile deepened as she closed her eyes to listen to my voice, reaching up a hand to entwine our fingers together.
"I feel better already knowing that you're here with me, Zera." With my heart warmed by her words, I smiled lovingly down to her before then looking across to the other Erza. She looked just as beat up and defeated as my sister did, so I presumed that their fight had ended in a draw. Figures. Power equally matched, both fiercely stubborn, it's no wonder they completely destroyed their surroundings. I was about to ask what we should do about Erza Nightwalker when I began to get the feeling of someone else's presence, one that was intimately familiar to me.
Nightwalker suddenly moved, twitching and trying to sit up as she breathed out a name. "Zera." Me? Looking to the left, I saw a figure standing at the ridge of the crater, looking down upon us all with luxuriously long flowing hair. Instantly my eyes widened and even Erza blinked in surprise, staring at the figure which was my exact copy. Gentle blue eyes gazed down with love to Nightwalker, though one eye was adorned with a straight vertical scar. The crimson hair was longer than all of ours, almost touching the floor with small braids decorating her head.
A pure white cloak was clasped underneath her throat with one side flicked back over her shoulder to reveal a simple white nightgown with feathers running down to the hemline, making it float and flicker prettily as she walked. "Erza, you fool. You have fought too hard and now you are completely spent of all energy. Rest, we shall return to the palace soon where I shall take care of you properly." It was so strange to hear my own voice but not be the one speaking. All I could do was watch as the other me slowly and rather weakly made her way down to her own sister and knelt down in the dirt as Nightwalker grit her teeth and hissed slightly in anger.
"You're the fool! You should not be out of bed, your body is too weak to move around so much, you need to properly rest like the doctor ordered!" Nightwalker retorted sharply however she calmed down when the other me placed her hand upon her cheek and smoothed back her hair.
"I heard rumours of conflict and came to investigate for myself, I was worried for you, my dear big sister. Do not worry, I feel much stronger today." The other me smiled and I could not get over the fact how pretty she looked, so feminine and elegant. Nothing like me at all. She spoke and moved like a true born lady, and as I recalled, she was also a general. Although her body was weak, her strength in battle was unparalleled as Coco had told me. Was this truly my Edolas counterpart? I did not know whether I should pity or envy her. To be so strong and weak at the same time, I could not help but relate to her completely. "So, you are the Earth Land wizards whom I have heard so much about." Edolas Zera finally addressed us as she placed Nightwalker's head upon her lap and held her sister's hand just as I did Erza's. "I apologise for the trouble my sister and people have caused you. If I had been aware of my king's planning, I would have put a stop to it immediately. No one should have to sacrifice their life in someone's ambitious quest for power. It is completely unethical."
"Glad to see that the other version of me has good sense. Make sure you take good care of your sister, okay? It was a pretty tough battle, I'm surprised they're all in one piece." I grinned goofily as Erza chuckled at me softly.
"Such little faith in me, you should trust in your big sister, Zera. I will never be defeated when I have you behind me and your love in my heart. It gives me all the strength I need." Squealing at Erza's cuteness, I hugged her tightly and nuzzled her face until I heard Edolas Zera laughing softly, smiling as she looked to the both of us.
"I am glad to see that the bond we share does not only exist in our world. Erza, it appears that the love we share for one another transcends across worlds. Does this not bring you joy?" Nightwalker blinked before finally relaxing and I saw a smile touch her face which finally made her look exactly like my own sister, recognising the real Erza within that expression as she touched the cheek of the other me with her hand and the two of them touched their foreheads together.
"Yes, it does Zera. It makes me very happy indeed." The four of us sat together for a moment, basking in the strong emotions which passed between us until suddenly mine and Erza's bodies began to glow.
"Eh?" Surprised, I quickly looked around me to see what was happening until all at once I floated up into the sky. "Wagh! Big sis what's happening?!"
"It appears that our time is up, we're being pulled back to Earth Land." She said to me as we floated side by side. Her calmness helped me to relax and as we reached out to take one another's hands, I gripped onto her fingers tightly. "This is it, Nightwalker."
"Scarlet." Both of them looked at each other for a moment before an understanding seemed to pass between them, and as the other me helped Edolas Erza to sit up a little more, they smiled to one another. "No. We are both Erza." I sniffed a little, the emotion causing me to tear up so I brushed aside the tear.
"Farewell, Earth Land Erza and Zera. I pray you always remain as tightly bonded as you are now. Never forget the unbreakable bond of sisters, allow it to flourish and bloom like an immortal flower." Edolas Zera spoke as she lifted her hand, looking directly into my eyes as we continued to raise higher. I could not help but get the feeling that she was trying to silently tell me more, communicating through our gazes and when I felt a coldness touch my gut, I felt the intensity of her warning. What was she trying to warn me about? It was too late to ask, because in the next moment I felt a strong rushing sensation as we flew up into the light and before I knew it, I felt my feet touch damp grass.
