If you don't like 30 years before then that's fine, you don't need to tell everybody about it with vulgar language, there are underage people who read the comments and they don't need read stuff like that.

Secondly I'm not changing the story because some random doesn't like the story. Don't like it then go and read something else. Nobody is forcing you read this.

I'm writing this because I like it! Not for any other reason, this simply is self indulgent nonsense. It's a fanfic! Not something offensive.

Luffy's POV

Luffy was having a decent fight, not exactly what he was looking for to really challenge him. Tongue guy wasn't nearly as strong as the one they had fought, maybe 'this now' Tongue guy wasn't as tough as the one from 'his now'. While he really wanted to sent the stupid candy jerk flying right now, however he was actually quite a good opponent to practice with, Luffy learned 'fighting stuff' much faster if he was actually fighting. Also Luffy was enjoying beating him up for what he did to Pedro and his crew. Especially the Pedro thing though. If he hadn't gotten in the way, Pedro wouldn't have done that...

So far Luffy just kept hitting him, not the way Newgate did it at all, when he hit stuff it didn't make contact with the enemy. The straw hat captain on the other hand just keep hitting properly, it was really frustrating. As for the Conqueror haki thing, well so far he hadn't managed that either.

"WHY WON'T IT DO IT!"

Luffy had sent his opponent flying again, the candy man smashed into the mast and let out a loud yelp of pain. Sighing, the raven ran after him, fist raised striking the bastard, though Tongue guy rolled out of the way and the same motion swung his candy cane at him again. The boy ducked out of the way, focus his haki outside of his armament covered arm, throwing a punch into his under belly. The fist made contact, flinging the devil fruit user through several floor boards.

"Work dammit!" Luffy complained, it was then that he took notice of Dragon fighting through the pirate fodder. He looked especially angry, maybe even a little hurt, not physically but like someone had emotionally stung him. He wondered what had gotten him so worked up, well it's not like he had the time to ask him, Tongue guy was charging. The young captain leapt out of the way, just as the tall lanky man caused several sharp pointy candy spikes to shot at him, the candy cane came down on him. Luffy sprang into the air, setting off a 'Gomu Gomu no Gatling' which hit his target multiple times, this time though this didn't send him flying, managing to block the blows with a sticky shield.

Finally he was getting serious! Luffy grinned viciously, maybe his training could finally start properly.

The candy man once again bolted forwards, he was yelling about something but Luffy really didn't care enough to actually listen, he was more interested in the fight. Tongue guy sprang sending several candy arrows straight for him, Luffy rolled out the way, dancing around the missiles smashing into the biscuit floor, before swinging around a leg in a 'Gomu Gomu no whip' and hitting him rather heavily. The enemy was sent sailing, smashing through several of the edible support beams, the ship veered, causing it to shake violently.

"MY NAME IS DRAGON THE REVOLUTIONARY! I'M GOING TO FUCK OVER THE WORLD GOVERNMENT!" Dragon's voice rang out loud and clear, it was full of a strong confident conviction. The hair on the back of Luffy's neck stood on end, a chill ran through him, a huge wave of Conqueror's haki flashed through the air, Luffy span in the direction of origin. Luffy grinned widely, chuckling. "Good for you Dragon!" He was so glad Dragon was no longer being dumb anymore, he finally knew who he was. "About time!"

Tongue guy had recovered, a wave of blue candy rose up behind him, it was then chucked straight at Luffy. Still grinning Luffy activated Gear Third, his arm swelling to massive proportions, a huge fist over shadowing the small biscuit ship. It plowed straight through the liquid candy, crushing Perospero.

Maybe Luffy was a little over enthusiastic...

Sabo's POV

So Sabo wasn't having a good time, in fact it wasn't even remotely okay at all. He had no trouble finding a transponder snail, that wasn't the problem. No the problem was the snail frequency he was trying to get ahold of didn't exist! He had tried everything, even contacted a couple of friends, that he could of have asked for help. However their frequencies didn't exist either, the only frequency he did manage to get through to was a person he didn't even know, so now what?

Sabo wasn't gonna lie, he was worried. Right now anything could of be happening! After all the last thing he remembered was being attacked at their base, then suddenly he was in a shack somewhere he didn't know! What even was this? He couldn't believe that everybody he knew had just vanished. Dragon in particular was surprising, his boss was tough, like seriously tough! He wasn't going to lose that easily, especially not to Blackbeard's goons, there was no way.

Yet that's exactly how it appeared. So far nothing. The only comfort we had was that Luffy was fine, his Vivre card was floating around like normal, cheerfully like always. For a while he had actually been kind of worried, for about 2 weeks give or take, luffy's card hasn't really done anything. It just sat there unmoving, but it hadn't burned up, so he was alive. That didn't stop him worrying, because Luffy was always moving. It got to the point where he actually started to wondering if it was broken or something, how a piece of paper could break he wasn't sure. Well either way it was working now, thank God for that at least.

Then there was little Red, poor kid was trying to remember stuff and he just couldn't. He was desperately trying to grasp onto some kind of memory, with no luck. The past two days after getting away from Blackbeard, Sabo and the boy had moved around the town quite significantly. They had asked around, so far nobody knew who Red was. Nobody even recognised him, Sabo was convinced that he wasn't an orphan, he was dressed quite well, despite being beaten up, the kids seem pretty healthy, he wasn't malnourished and he seemed to be well taken care of.

Though he would argue if Red was normal, he didn't act like a normal kid, he didn't seem surprised or scared in any kind of situation, always took things pretty well. So he came to the conclusion that maybe he was raised by pirates or something. He did sort of have that piratey air about him, what with the sash around his waist, the linen shirt and clunky boots. The most telling sign though was the missing sword from scabbard on his back being held by a large belt, which told Sabo that this kid could probably use a sword to some degree. When he asked about it, Red said pretty confidently "yeah, I think I'm missing my sword, I don't feel right without it..." A part from that though Red was pretty confused about everything else, he didn't know if he was pirate or if he had family. Or even have an inclining about his name.

They had found somewhere nice to sit at least, nobody had recognised him, It would be a problem if they did. Sabo wasn't even sure where they were, what island they were on or anything, Yantra was the island's name, however he had never heard of it. It was something he prided himself on, he studied a lot of maps, he made a point of it, after all he was a pretty good navigator and knowing locations always was a great help. But this place, he was stumped.

It didn't stand out, in fact it kind of reminded him of Dawn island a little bit, what with the big forest and the big town and all the fancy people, not quite like High town but something similar. Though it definitely didn't have a junkyard right in front of the capital. In some ways it made him a little uncomfortable, maybe that's why nobody really paid him any mind, a lot of people were wearing top hats and fancy suits, sort of made him feel like a noble again, Sabo really didn't like that. He always stuck to this style, almost like a middle finger to all the Nobles. Also top hats were cool.

The cafe they were sat in was nice, it wasn't that expensive, though money wasn't really the problem, he had pickpocketed quite a few people. He could quite comfortably buy anything they needed, he had bought Red a new jacket mostly because it hid the bruises rather well, people kept asking if he was okay and Sabo had picked up on how uncomfortable it made him, all the attention didn't sit well with the kid. Sabo could understand how that felt, people liked to stare and accuse, to judge, even the people showing concern would turn a blind eye once they didn't like the situation. He had gotten a lot of that attention as a kid, the burn on his face was like a big red mark, everyone's eyes would be drawn in and he hated it.

"Sabo? What are we gonna do now?" Red's voice broke him out of his thoughts, he turned his eyes on the kid and once again the straw hat was jarring, it made him blink twice, reminding himself that this was Red not Luffy. Even though they looked so different, something made Sabo think of Luffy and it wasn't just the straw hat either, there was something so Luffy-like about him. However it just made him smile, it honestly felt like having little brother around again, because Sabo hated to admit it but Luffy was all grown up and it made him sad he never got watch him grow... Just like how Ace was going to miss out seeing Luffy become King of the Pirates...

"Well I still can't get hold of my boss... but I think I want to find my little brother more, I've been worried about him. See this is a-" Sabo brought out Luffy's vivre card, sitting it in the palm of his hand, it immediately began to jump around, moving in a eastern direction. Before Sabo could finish speaking Red interrupted "it's a Vivre card!"

"Yeah! You remember something?" The blonde man asked hopefully, Red was frowning, it cut deep into his face and bead of sweat ran down his face. The look of pure concentration in his eyes burned brightly, then suddenly they lit up and he began to nod.

"I think I had one of those... maybe I have one..." Red began to rummage through his clothes, but he didn't have any pockets to rifle through, he almost looked frantic, desperately clinging to the small thread of hope. Sabo watched silently, he had crease in his brow, he hoped Red was right, if he could get the kid home at least then he wouldn't be so worried about Blackbeard finding him and beating the poor boy up more.

His frantic attempt at finding the Vivre card slowed, as he slowly began to realise the truth, he either didn't have one or he had lost it. Both those things upset Sabo, poor kid... he fixed his gaze on the boy's frustrated face, he had been about say something to comfort him, when his eyes fell on his straw hat, a memory surfaced. Luffy as little kid, trying to hide a scrap of meat from Ace and him, he had stuck it under the red band running around his hat. It had been so stupid yet also kind of smart of Luffy, if only it had been smaller...

"Check your hat. Under the band." Red blinked, dragging his straw hat off his head and ran his finger under the red lining. It caught on something and his face lit up, he pulled out a piece of worn paper, a big wide grin on his face. Unfolding it, to reveal a scruffy frayed Vivre Card, a sloppy looking R was writing in the middle.

"I think I know where we're off to next Red! We're going to get you home and maybe we'll run into Luffy along the way."
