Hello, everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but I know I don't have a lot of readers so...it doesn't really matter.
Anyway, this is my first Miraculous Ladybug fanfic.
I know my writing sucks, but it's fun to write!
I absolutely love Marichat and Adrienette so it will mostly consist of those two ships.
Enjoy!
"Hey, purr-incess."
"Don't you have other places to be, Chat?"
Marinette sat at her desk working on a new design not bothering to look up at the superhero in her open window. Her fingers ached from hours of messing up and starting over and she's in a bad mood. No mood for company.
"Ouch, do you really hate me that much?" Chat Noir teased as he hopped into Marinette's room.
Marinette just huffed and ignored him. Her eyebrows scrunched, concentrating on not pricking her hand with the sewing needle. Chat Noir has been visiting her a lot lately, she doesn't mind him being there most of the time. When she's Ladybug he is always flirting and being that overconfident, ignorant Chat Noir. She's only seen him sympathetic to Ladybug a few times. But to Marinette he's charming and kind. Sure he still is slick and cracks a lot of terrible jokes and puns, he's overall a pretty good guy. But for today, Marinette isn't in the mood for a Chat Chat (as he calls it). Chat Noir walked to her and leaned over her shoulder, obviously trying to break the tension.
"What are you making?" He asked. She didn't respond. "Aw, c'mon, Mari! Did my awesomeness shock you into silence?" he prodded with a smile.
Marinette rolled her eyes, a small smile threatening to ruin her grouchy mood. "You wish, kitty."
He stood up straight again, his bell jingling with the movement. He sat on the chair across from her, a smirk on his face. Marinette turned around to face him.
"What are you doing here anyways?" She asked.
Chat Noir just shrugged. "I dunno. I was lonely."
The truth was, his father had been exceptionally cold to Adrien this evening.
"Father?"
Adrien hesitantly walked into the cold, dimly lit room. The hard figure of his father, Gabriel Agreste, stood facing a portrait of Adrien's mother, he looked agitated, mumbling to himself.
"Whatever it is, it can wait, Adrien," said Gabriel, from across the room, an icy touch hung on his words.
"Why don't you ever eat with me?" Adrien blurted. "How come you're never around? I think I deserve a dad who at least notices his son."
Gabriel turned around to face his son. The stern look on his face seemed to cut through Adrien, he shouldn't have said that.
"Adrien, I said whatever it is, it can wait. You have disobeyed me. Nathalie!"
Nathalie quickly entered the room, her face emotionless.
"Yes, sir?"
"Take Adrien to his room, he is not to leave until school tomorrow." Gabriel looked straight at Adrien. "Is that understood?"
Adrien's spirit plummeted, but why is he sad? This is nothing new. Adrien lowered his head, sadly.
"Yes, father…"
Marinette looked at Chat Noir curiously, she could tell that he was lying but didn't mention anything. His eyes flitted around the room, searching for a subject change. Marinette noticed his eyes land on her collage of Adrien pictures strewn on the wall over her desk.
"You seem to really like this dude, huh?"
Her face heated up and before Chat could say anything else she quickly butted in.
"F-for research! I-I want to be his wife - I mean a bride - I mean I want to be a fashion designer when I grow down - I mean up!"
Marinette slapped her forehead and silently screamed on the inside at her stammering. 'When I grow down'!? What is that even supposed to mean!? She looked up at Chat Noir thinking she'd find him laughing his butt off, but instead he just had a quirky smile on his face.
"What..?" She asked, confused. This is not usual behavior for Chat.
"You are paw-dorable when you stammer." He said, winking.
Marinette's face reddened at the comment. She decided to ignore the cat pun and just take in that he called her adorable.
"Stop joking around, Chat!" She punched his arm, and made sure to give him a death glare.
"Ooh, feisty!" He said, teasing.
She rolled her eyes and groaned, he is insufferable!
"Go home, Chaton," she said, turning back to her work. She rolled her eyes as the sound of Chat fake crying made it to her ears. She turned to face him, a bored look on her face. He was curled up in a ball, rocking back and forth. His blonde hair rested over his knees.
"I thought we were friends!" He sniffed, lifting his head.
"Oh my god, Chat! You are so immature!" She groaned.
Chat Noir just laughed, his masked face breaking into a smile. Marinette felt her heart skip a beat. What is this? Sure Chat can be kind of hot sometimes, but Marinette loves Adrien...not Chat Noir! And why Chat Noir?! Why can't she feel this way towards Luka or someone, anyone else but Chat! She internally slapped herself but kept composure, hoping that she hadn't blushed.
"You can't get rid of me that easily, purr-incess," Chided Chat Noir. "How about some snuggles? You seemed to enjoy that last time." He wiggled his eyebrows, smirking.
Last time. Marinette tried not to think about last time. Marinette had been having a terrible day, she was so stressed about her responsibilities as Ladybug and all the homework that had been piling up over the week. And to make things worse Kagami had posted a picture of her and Adrien at Andre's. Sadness, stress, frustration, and jealousy bubbled inside her when Chat had arrived late that evening. She gave into his comforts and they had laid down in her bed, wrapped in each other's arms. It was comforting at the time but when he left, the reality of the situation hit her.
"I-I did not enjoy it!" She stuttered. "Just leave!"
"Alright, alright." He put his hands up in defense. He walked over to her open window and turned to face her.
"Until next time, purr-incess."
Should I write more? Tell me! And please review, it means a lot, thank you!
