Puppycorn's Nightmare
The Unikingdom used to be a bright and happy place filled with rainbows and sunshine. All of that changed thanks to Master Frown. Ever since his birthday, Master Frown not only got promoted as a doom lord, but he also became the king of the Unikingdom. In her darkest moment, Unikitty led a resistance against Master Frown. This led to Unikitty and her friends facing off with the doom lords.
The fight took a turn for the worse as Master Doom used her magic to blast Unikitty through a window. Seeing this left Puppycorn in shock. He and the rest of his friends soon rushed over to her aid.
"Sis, are you okay?" Puppycorn asked, worried for his sister/girlfriend.
Unikitty weakly got up as Master Doom let out an evil laugh. "Frown, get rid of that cat and her friends so we can get back to work!"
After Master Doom gave the order, Master Frown stepped forward with bolts of electricity appearing from his hands. There was something about Master Frown's expression that Puppycorn didn't like. Judging from his evil grin, it looked like the doom lord really wanted to destroy Unikitty and her friends. Puppycorn looked over to Unikitty and could tell that she was scared as well.
Despite how scared she was, Unikitty stepped forward to reason with Master Frown. "You don't have to do this! We all know that you can be good!"
Instead of listening, the bolts on Master Frown's hands grew bigger. They grew so big that Master Frown summoned lightning to attack the group of friends. With a gasp of shock, Unikitty stepped forward to protect her friends. The lightning ended up hitting Unikitty, and she let out a bloodcurdling scream before collapsing to the ground.
"Unikitty! No!" Puppycorn screamed as he rushed over to his sister.
The young prince was horrified by what he saw. Unikitty's pink fur was covered with burns from the lightning, and she wasn't moving an inch. Tears began to form in Puppycorn's eyes, as he tried to shake Unikitty awake.
"Sis! Please wake up!" There was no response.
Suddenly, a chuckle escaped from Master Doom. "Well, it looks like Frown just killed your girlfriend! Good riddance!"
This left Puppycorn shocked by what Master Doom said. "N-No! She can't be! She can't be dead! Sis, please don't leave me! I need you! I l-love you!" Puppycorn couldn't stop the tears from falling from his eyes as he began to cry.
Puppycorn didn't want to accept this. He had been through so much with Unikitty, and her time with him couldn't end like this! The sound of Puppycorn's sobs had been drowned out by the maniacal laughter of Master Frown and Master Doom.
"No! No! NOOOOO!"
The next thing that Puppycorn knew, he was in his bed. The unicorn-dog hybrid looked around his room as he realized that it was just a dream. Despite that, Puppycorn still felt scared. He did his best to wipe the tears from his eyes when he heard his door open. At that moment, Unikitty came in the room, looking concerned for her brother.
"Puppycorn, what's wrong? I heard you screaming. Are you-"
Before Unikitty could finish her question, Puppycorn got up and hugged Unikitty tightly.
"Oh, sis! I just had a horrible nightmare!" Puppycorn cried. "If I lost you, I don't know what I would have done and, and-"
"Shh." Unikitty embraced Puppycorn in a comforting hug. "You don't have to worry, little bro. I'm here for you now." She then handed Puppycorn a tissue before he wiped the rest of the tears from his eyes and blew his nose. After a couple of moments, Puppycorn calmed down. "Feeling better?"
"I guess so." Puppycorn sniffed.
"So, would you like to talk about this nightmare that you had?" Unikitty asked.
At first, Puppycorn didn't really want to talk about his nightmare, but he knew that Unikitty would understand, so he gave a nod. He told Unikitty about how memories of their battle with the doom lords were coming back to him. He even told Unikitty about how he watched her die in his dream. As Unikitty listened to more of Puppycorn's dream, she started to feel sorry for her little brother. She couldn't imagine how terrified Puppycorn was from having such a dream.
"Oh, Puppycorn! I'm so sorry!" Unikitty sympathized. "You don't have to worry anymore. It's all over. Master Frown is reformed, remember?"
"I know, but what if Master Doom comes back and convinces Master Frown to be evil again?" Puppycorn asked. "If the doom lords return, things probably won't go back to normal. I just don't want to lose you!"
At that moment, Unikitty placed a paw on Puppycorn's shoulder and gave him a reassuring smile. "Hey, if Master Doom does return, we'll stop her like we did last time. Also, I promise that you are not going to lose me. I need you as much as you need me."
Before Puppycorn could react, Unikitty gave him a quick kiss on the lips. This caused Puppycorn to blush as he looked at his sister with a smile. Just being here with Unikitty was enough for Puppycorn to feel safe.
"Thanks for making me feel better, sis!"
"You're welcome, little bro! I would do anything for you! It's getting late, so I think I'll head back to my room." Before Unikitty could leave, Puppycorn called out for her one more time.
"Um, sis? Do you think that you can stay here with me for the night? That dream still kind of had me freaked out." Puppycorn gave a nervous chuckle.
The pink cat then turned around and gave her brother a smile. "Sure, Puppycorn! I will always be there for you!"
As Puppycorn got back in his bed, Unikitty snuggled up close to him, as Puppycorn's face turned red once more. It wasn't long before the siblings finally went to sleep. As long as Unikitty was there for him, Puppycorn was certain that he won't have anymore nightmares for awhile.
