Unikitty's Baking Lesson
One day, Unikitty was in the kitchen reading through a cookbook with the intent of making a cake. The pink cat really wanted to do something nice for her friends, so she thought that making a cake for them would be the perfect idea. As Unikitty was about to get started, Puppycorn walked in the kitchen, curious with what his sister was doing.
"Hi, sis!" Puppycorn cheerfully greeted, startling his sister. "What are you doing?"
"Oh, hi, Puppycorn! I was just making a cake for our friends to share." Unikitty explained. "Since Hawkodile, Dr. Fox, and Richard are such wonderful friends, I really wanted to do something nice for them!"
"Cool! Can I help?" Puppycorn asked.
"Um, sure! I didn't know that you liked baking, little bro." Unikitty said, a little surprised.
"I'm not really that into baking." Puppycorn admitted. "I just want an excuse to spend time with my girlfriend."
As Unikitty heard that, she gave her brother a smile. "Aw! You're so sweet, Puppycorn! This will be the perfect opportunity for me to teach you how to bake! So, what are we waiting for? Let's get started! This first step is easy! We just have to pour some flour into the bowl."
With a nod, Puppycorn grabbed the bag of flour and walked over to the bowl. He seemed to be doing good so far, but Unikitty let out a gasp as Puppycorn was about to turn the whole bag upside down.
"Wait! Don't pour all of it into the-"
Unikitty's warnings fell on deaf ears as Puppycorn already poured the entire bag of flour into the bowl, getting flour all over the table. It was at that moment when the siblings realized that they were both covered white with flour as well.
"Achoo!" Unikitty let out a sneeze as some of the flour got in her nose. After grabbing a tissue and blowing her nose, Unikitty turned to Puppycorn and said, "Uh, good effort, little bro, but let's consider this to be your first lesson. Don't dump everything in the bowl at once."
"Oops! Sorry, sis!" Puppycorn gave an awkward laugh.
"It's okay, little bro! Let's just get ourselves cleaned up."
The pink cat then turned around to grab a towel and clean herself up. She only walked a few steps before she slipped. Thankfully, Puppycorn was able to catch his sister in time. Unikitty ended up landing on top of Puppycorn. Once the siblings recovered from their fall, they began to blush as they realized how close they were to each other.
They began to smile before Puppycorn decided to break the silence. "Um, are you alright, sis?"
"Oh, I'm fine!" Unikitty blushed. "Thanks for saving me, Puppycorn! Shall we continue our lesson?"
Puppycorn nodded as he got up from the floor. With all of the ingredients added into the bowl, Unikitty and Puppycorn decided that it was time to stir everything together. Unikitty then gave Puppycorn a whisk as she allowed Puppycorn to do the next part.
"Now it's time for the next step! I want you to mix all of the ingredients together!" Unikitty explained.
"Got it, sis!"
With that, Puppycorn held on to the whisk and mixed the ingredients together the best he can. He still made a mess on the table, but Unikitty had to admit that he was doing better at baking. Once he was done, Puppycorn noticed the mess he made.
"Oh, I guess I got carried away again." Puppycorn realized.
Unikitty nodded. "Kind of, but you did better than last time!"
"Thanks, sis! By the way, it looks like I got a little bit of sugar on your cheek." Puppycorn pointed out
"You did?" Unikitty soon realized that her face was slightly messy.
"Don't worry! I got it!"
Puppycorn then licked the sugar off of Unikitty's cheek, making her blush once more. Once she got over her shock, Unikitty began to cuddle her brother. It wasn't long before the siblings finished mixing the ingredients together. They were nearly finished with making the cake as they put it in the oven. They knew that it was going to take a while before the heating process finished, so they decided to talk to each other.
"Thanks, for everything, little bro! You were a big help today!" Unikitty thanked her brother.
"No problem, sis! It was actually pretty fun. Especially with you." Puppycorn admitted.
"Aw! I'm actually glad that you showed up, little bro. I don't think I would have had as much fun if you weren't here with me."
Unikitty and Puppycorn smiled at one another before they were about to kiss. However, they were stopped at the last second when the timer went off. Startled, Unikitty and Puppycorn blushed slightly before Unikitty opened the oven to see that the cake was ready. The two siblings then took out the cake and placed it on the table as they were both satisfied by how well the cake was turning out so far. They finished up making the cake by decorating it with frosting and cherries.
"Wow! This looks delicious!" Puppycorn's mouth began to water.
With a giggle, Unikitty nodded in agreement. "You said it, little bro! Now that the cake is ready, we can bring it to our friends so that we can eat it together."
"Good because I'm getting hungry already." Puppycorn's stomach began to grumble.
At that moment, Unikitty and Puppycorn lifted up the cake as they proceeded to leave the kitchen.
As they were leaving, Puppycorn decided to ask his sister a question. "Hey, sis. I really had a lot of fun with cooking with you Do you think that you can teach me how to cook more meals?"
Unikitty nodded in response. "Of course we can! We can make all kinds of meals that we can share with each other. Until then, I'm looking forward to our next lesson."
"Me too, sis!" Puppycorn smiled.
It wasn't long before Unikitty and Puppycorn left the kitchen with the cake. Deep down, Puppycorn couldn't wait to find out what other kinds of food that his sister would teach him how to make. After the fun day that Puppycorn had with Unikitty, he was certain that his next lesson would be just as fun and romantic.
The End
