Snuggles In Front of the Fireplace
One morning, Unikitty woke up from her bed. She looked outside her window and was surprised to find out that it was snowing outside. Once she realized that the Unikingdom was having another snow day, Unikitty let out a squeal of delight. The princess was so excited that she rushed out of her room, not noticing Puppycorn as she ran into him. This caused Unikitty to land on top of him, making them both blush.
"Um, good morning, Puppycorn!" Unikitty greeted awkwardly before getting off of him.
"Good morning, sis!" Puppycorn got up as well. "Have you seen the snow outside? We are having another snow day!"
"I know! It is so exciting! We get to spend another Winter as a couple!" Unikitty squealed with joy. "We should ask our friends to come with us!"
"Great idea, sis!"
With that, Unikitty and Puppycorn made their way through the castle to find Hawkodile and Dr. Fox sleeping on the couch with their arms wrapped around each other. They soon woke up when they heard the siblings footsteps. After yawning and stretching, Hawkodile and Dr. Fox realized that they slept in each other's arms.
"Well, you two look adorable together!" Puppycorn teased, making the couple blush.
"Oh, right! We were so tired last night we decided to sleep with each other, Hawkodile." Dr. Fox remembered.
Hawkodile blushed before turning to Unikitty and Puppycorn, desperate to change the subject. "Uh, anyway, what are you two doing up so early?"
"Just look outside." Unikitty pointed out the window.
At that moment, Hawkodile and Dr. Fox looked outside and were surprised to find snowflakes falling from the sky.
"Wow! It's snowing!" Dr. Fox exclaimed.
"Yeah! Now we can have another snow day!" Hawkodile said, feeling as excited as his friends.
Soon, Unikitty and her friends put on some warm clothes before rushing outside to play in the snow. After a couple of moments of playing, Unikitty suddenly thought of an idea.
"Hey, guys! Let's have a snowball fight!"
"Great idea, Unikitty!" said Dr. Fox. "How would you like to play it? Would you like to play in teams?"
Unikitty nodded in response. "Yes! How about you and Hawkodile against me and Puppycorn?"
"I like that idea! Looks like it's couple versus couple!" Hawkodile commented.
The group of friends then made some snowballs before they began their snowball fight. Once everyone was ready, Unikitty and Puppycorn gave determined looks to one another.
"Are you ready, little bro?" Unikitty asked.
"I am ready, sis!" Puppycorn replied.
A couple of hours had passed when the four friends were covered in snow and decided to call it a draw. They soon returned to the castle where Richard started up a fire in the fireplace so everyone can stay warm.
"I hope all of you enjoyed your snow day!" Richard spoke up.
"We did, Richard!" Unikitty replied.
"Good! While you enjoy the rest of your day, I am going to finish the rest of my chores." Richard said before he left.
"Well, Dr. Fox and I would probably take a walk in the snow for awhile." Hawkodile announced.
"We'll see you guys later." Dr. Fox waved goodbye.
"Okay! Have fun!" Unikitty smiled.
Puppycorn waved goodbye as well. "Bye, guys!"
Once Hawkodile and Dr. Fox left, Unikitty and Puppycorn found themselves alone together. The two siblings enjoyed spending some alone time together as they sat in front of the fireplace to stay warm. It was quiet, apart from the crackling of the flames. A couple of hours had passed when Unikitty suddenly woke up with a start, realizing that she dozed off for awhile. By that time, the fire went out and it was cold again. That was when Unikitty realized that Puppycorn was snuggling up to her, making her blush.
The princess felt that Puppycorn looked so cute when he was asleep. Unfortunately, her smile faded when she saw Puppycorn shivering. Feeling bad for her brother, Unikitty decided to grab a blanket and wrap it around herself and Puppycorn. A small smile formed across Puppycorn's face. Deep down, Puppycorn felt happy spending this time with his sister and wouldn't trade it for the world.
Unikitty felt the same way, so she snuggled up to Puppycorn as well as the siblings stayed warm under the blanket. By the time that Hawkodile and Dr. Fox returned to the castle that stopped to see Unikitty and Puppycorn sleeping right next to each other. Hawkodile and Dr. Fox couldn't help but smile at this adorable sight. This turned out to be the best snow day ever.
The End
