AN: So this is my new Unikitty Halloween story that I would be writing throughout October. Since I haven't wrote any stories involving the Score Creeper, I thought that a Halloween story would be the perfect story to include him in. Anyway, I hope you would enjoy my new story.
Chapter 1
A New Board Game
It was another Halloween night, and Unikitty and her friends were getting ready to go trick-or-treating. Spooky decorations were set up around the castle. Jack-o-lanterns were placed on tables, and the lights were dimmed down to give a creepy atmosphere.
Unikitty flew into the living room, dressed up in her witch costume. She looked around the room to see Puppycorn going as a zombie for Halloween and Hawkodile was wearing a robot costume. As for Richard, he painted himself white to make himself look like a ghost. Soon, Dr. Fox returned from her lab and Unikitty flew over to greet her.
"Happy Halloween, Dr. Fox! Where's your costume?" Unikitty asked, noticing that Dr. Fox was wearing her usual white lab coat and glasses.
"This is my costume, Unikitty! I'm going as a mad scientist this year!" Dr. Fox explained.
Richard was cleaning around the castle as he said, "Just make sure that you return from trick-or-tricking by midnight."
"Relax, Rick! Everyone would be safe as long as I'm here to protect them!" Hawkodile assured.
"This is so exciting! I can't wait to see what candy we will eat this year!" Puppycorn exclaimed.
"Me neither, Puppycorn! I'm sure that this is going to be the best Halloween ever!"
As Unikitty said that, lightning suddenly flashed. Unikitty and her friends soon looked out the window and were shocked to find out that it was raining outside. Disappointed, the group of friends slumped down on the couch now that Halloween was canceled.
"Aw man! I was really looking forward to going trick-or-treating as a zombie this year!" Puppycorn gave a sad sigh.
"I'm sorry, little bro! I'm sure that we can have just as much fun inside the castle!" Unikitty assured.
"That's easier said than done, Princess. What fun could we possible have inside the castle?" Hawkodile asked.
Once Hawkodile asked that question, lightning flashed once again as ghostly fog began to fill the castle, startling the group of friends off the couch. They looked around to hear a spooky voice.
"So, this Halloween you have nothing to do? I have the perfect game for you! Into darkness you shall only fall deeper, for you have just summoned the Score Creeper!"
With that, the Score Creeper revealed himself in a puff of smoke. However, he didn't get any reaction from Unikitty and her friends as they were not intimidated by him in the least.
"I'm sorry! Who are you?" Unikitty asked, obliviously.
Upon hearing Unikitty's question, the Score Creeper's eye twitched before he raised a hand up to his face in a facepalm. He then took his hand off his face as he gave Unikitty an annoyed look.
"Stop asking me that! You know who I am! I'm the Score Creeper! I've tried to steal your souls 100 times, for crying out loud!"
"Oh yeah! That Score Creeper!" Unikitty remembered.
"So, what are you here for this time, Score Creeper?" Dr. Fox spoke up. "Are you going to bring us in a fantasy game or are you going to force us to go through another escape room?"
"Oh, you would like that, wouldn't you? Unfortunately for you, I have the perfect board game to steal your souls once and for all! Behold!"
At that moment, the Score Creeper used his powers to summon a board game on the table. The box had an image of a mansion with the words, 'Spooky Mansion' written at the top.
"Taking inspiration from my previous board game, Spooky Game, Spooky Mansion is a game that is guaranteed to make you scream!" the Score Creeper announced. "Win the game and I will reward you with a lifetime supply of candy."
Unikitty and her friends gasped in delight. Getting a lifetime supply of candy was a dream come true, and all they had to do was win a game. Everyone was happy with the idea, except for Richard. He knew that this was just another one of the Score Creeper's traps and he was not going to fall for it.
"Something about this doesn't seem right. I think we should all think this through before we agree to-"
"We're in!" Unikitty and Puppycorn exclaimed, clearly not paying attention to a word Richard said.
Richard then gave a sigh as he said, "Why do I even bother?"
"Excellent! Now to start the game, but be warned! This game is not for the feint of heart! This time, your souls are mine!"
With an evil laugh, the Score Creeper summoned a portal that sucked Unikitty and her friends into the board game. Despite how excited they were, Unikitty and her friends had no idea what surprises the Score Creeper had in store for them.
