Hey guys nice to see you again. If you can tell by the tittle of this chapter, things are about to get interesting. ; )
Oh and before I forget there will be a miniature swear in this chapter, however once you ready it I'm sure you'll understand why.
Chapter 47-A Prank Gone Wrong, Very Wrong:
"Alright boys here we are ,"Sammy said, opening the door to classroom 710.
"Is that you Sam ?"A raspy voice asked.
"Yep it's us, my dear, and we brought our next victim ,"Sammy said, as Jeremy and Victor brough Varian into the room, shutting the door behind them.
"P-p-please, let me go ,"Varian begged, once again attempting to struggle out of the binds attaching him to the pole.
"Sorry little guy, we have our own methods for spys and intruders who try to make their way into this school, and since you were difficult we decided you won't live to tell the tale of how you found us ,"the raspy voice said.
"Please, I'm not a spy….I found this place with help from my-,"Varian started.
"Sorry kid, but we're not looking for excuses. Now what did you have in mind this time Attina ?"Victor asked.
"I was thinking about a nice, non-magical casserole ,"Attina said, as she lit a touch illuminating the group in the room.
Varian squinted his eyes at the sudden light, and Victor and Jeremy placed him down. He still felt himself suspended in the air and with one look down he realized exactly what Attina meant. Below him was a tiny fire pit, and he immediately began to struggle again.
"That would be an effective way, but we're not cannibal Attina ,"Sammy pointed out.
"Oh don't worry, I didn't mean for us….I meant for the rats, they get testy when they're hungry after all ,"Attina said, throwing a ball of fire into the fire pit, lighting the fire instantly.
"No, no, no, please! Let me go! SOMEBODY HELP! SOMEBODY! ANYBODY! RAPUNZEL, EUGENE, SIS, PLEASE! "Varian screamed as he stared at the flames.
Not thinking clearly, he tried to blow the fire out as he faced them, trying to buy himself more time. This only increased the flames, causing them to grow bigger, the flames licking him slightly as he continued turning. The alchemist cried out in alarm and struggled to move away from the flames. Suddenly the door burst open, and an almost animal-like growl came into the room. Everyone turned their attention towards the door, where they could make out a person backing up. It wasn't until she came charging towards them that they saw the black hair, fair skin, and black eyes filled to the brim with rage.
"IT'S GREEN DIAMOND !"the four students exclaimed, as she ran past them, leaping at the last moment.
"ALICE !"Varian cried out, as she crashed into him, his head made contact with the pole as he landed on his back on the ground with Alice on top of him.
"WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS I THINKING! I know how intense these students can be and yet I let you come! You have absolutely no business being here !"Alice exclaimed, gripping a silver dagger in her hands.
Varian looked up at her with wide eyes, as she cut him loose from the ropes, before she grabbed him around the middle and got him to his feet. Alice was in full mother hen mode, fussing over Varian as she made sure he wasn't hurt. Varian however simply hugged his sister tightly.
"Oh Alice, thank you! This isn't your fault, I should have stayed close and listened, you were right ,"Varian said, and Alice took a deep breath and hugged Varian back.
"I'm sorry for my outburst, it's not your fault…..Are you okay ?"Alice asked, holding Varian at an arm's length away so that she could look him over.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm okay. Shaken, but okay…..Thanks to you ,"Varian told her.
"Of course, I would do anything for you little bro, you know that right ?"Alice asked.
"Of course I do, just like I would do anything for you big sis ,"Varian said.
"Thunder ,"Alice said, holding her hand out.
"Lightning ,"Varian finished, grasping her hand tightly.
"Wait, so your sister is Green Diamond….. ?"Sammy asked, causing the siblings to turn to stare at him and Alice's eyes were as cold as ice and her expression showed the fire burning within her.
"Alright boys, joke's over !"Attina exclaimed, using her magic to fill the room with light.
"Attina! WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL !?"Alice exclaimed, not caring that she cursed.
"Language ,"Varian murmured.
"Not now Vary, this is the perfect reason to swear !"Alice yelled as Attina flinched a little at Alice's angry tone.
"Alice, I'm so…...if I had known that he was your little brother, I never would have done this! Besides, it was Sammy's idea !"Attina exclaimed, pointing toward the man.
"Why are you feeding me to the wolves ?!"he cried out.
"She's right, it was your idea to pull that stupid prank !"Jeremy yelled.
"I'm sorry, prank ?"Alice asked, her voice being a mixture of fire and ice.
"Ummmmmm, yeah…...the fire pit might have been filled with pieces of shear red, orange, and yellow fabric with fireflies in jars underneath it ,"Sammy said, backing away in fear.
"So you used a wind spell and craft supplies to scare my little brother ?"Alice asked, crossing her arms and Sammy could see the fire in her eyes as he continued to back away.
"Oh Sugar Honey Ice Tea !"he exclaimed.
Alice, who had had enough, raced towards him. Sammy ran as soon as she took off, Alice chasing him all over the classroom. Rapunzel and the others took this moment to finally enter the room and everyone watched with both amusement and fear for Sammy's life as Alice ran after him.
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU SAMMY !"Alice yelled as she chased him.
"I'M SORRY, I DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS YOUR BROTHER, WE HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN SIXTEEN YEARS, HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT YOUR BROTHER LOOKED LIKE ?!"Sammy tried to yell back, but Alice didn't listen.
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU, THEN CLONE YOU, AND KILL ALL YOUR CLONES !"Alice yelled, still chasing him.
"HELP ME !"Sammy yelled and as Sammy raced past, Monika and Garnet grabbed Alice, holding her back.
"Varian, are you alright ?"Rapunzel asked, rushing towards him.
"Yeah I'm fine, you guys think they're going to be alright ?"he asked, watching as his sister's friends tried to calm her down.
Eugene merely shrugged and looked at Sammy, who was hiding behind Victor and Jeremy in fear.
"Well, he screamed like a little girl, so I would say he's never gonna try anything like that again ,"Eugene pointed out, causing Varian to chuckle lightly.
"Alice…..My Diamond…...I'm so sorry, I haven't seen Varian since he was three...If I had known…..I wouldn't have…..,"Attina started, approaching Alice cautiously. Alice just took a deep breath and looked toward her.
"Promise me, you won't do this again, or I'll be asking Master Simon for a new amethyst ,"Alice threatened.
"I promise…..And hey….Varian, I'm really sorry we've scared you ,"Attina said, looking towards the alchemist.
"I….i…..it's fine ,"he said.
"By the way, what's with this rope here, it's loose ,"Sayori said, pointing towards a rope tied to the wall and she moved towards it, and started to untie it. Attina's eyes widened and she quickly ran over to Varian and pushed him away from where he was standing.
"ATTINA WHAT WAS THAT-"Natsuki started, as Sayori finished untying the rope. Suddenly the sound of something creaking was heard overhead. Alice looked up and saw a bucket tipping, it's contents spilling on Attina.
"OOOOOHHHHHHHH, I understand now ,"Natsuki said, looking back at the woman and seeing her covered in a red substance.
"Okay, no more pranks, starting now ,"Attina said, smiling sheepishly.
"What…..is that ?"Alice asked, pointing at the red liquid.
"Heh, heh, you see, funny story. We were planning to prank Master Simon at the Midnight Eve's ball here at school two years ago and we, well... we forgot to take down this prank when it didn't work out ,"Attina explained.
"You still haven't answered the question….but I gotta say that looks a lot like…,"Varian started, before realizing that his suspicions were correct, eyes rolling back in his head as he fainted on the spot.
"Varian !"Rapunzel and Alice exclaimed, as he fell, Eugene was as quick as ever to catch the boy.
"Yeah…...I'm guessing Varian's hemophobic ?"Attina asked.
"Yep ,"Alice said, looking at the liquid again and realizing what it was.
"I'm sorry, but hemophobic ?"Sammy asked.
"It's what a fear of blood is called, he faints at the sight of his own blood. For years I told him a way to control it was by pretending it was jelly, jams, you know; cake filling ,"Alice said, smiling at the memories.
"Why didn't he faint back when that ritual was performed then?"Eugene asked.
"Aurora threatened that she'd break every bone in his body if he fainted during the ritual, I'm guessing he pretended that it was tomato juice ,"Alice said.
"Yeah, I'm guessing that liquid is ,"Yuri started.
"Pig's blood, but yeah. Mixed with a little magic so that it never dries ,"Attina said, smiling sheepishly.
"Alright then, boys, one of you please escort my amethyst to the bathroom, get her some towels and dry clothes. Sammy….if you don't want me to kill you, please go and fetch Gary for me. Tell him I would like to meet him in the library ,"Alice commanded.
"Yes My Diamond and once again….I'm truly sorry, if I had known he was your brother, I wouldn't have harmed a hair on his head. After all, you being a diamond, that practically makes him as high in status as you, being related to you and all ,"Sammy said, as Jeremy and Victor left with Attina.
"Thank you Sammy…..Actually Garnet, could you please go with him and escort Gary to the library, I don't trust Sammy to be alone with G for more than a few seconds ,"Alice told her.
"Of course, we'll see you in the library and I'll fill him in on what you're looking for ,"Garnet said, leaving with Sammy.
"Thank you Garnet, now to try and revive my little brother ,"Alice said, turning towards him.
