"Chat Noir?" Marinette looked up at the feline superhero who glanced back down at her from his perch on the roof.

"Oh hello, Marinette." Chat slid down off the shingles and onto the balcony railing. "Sorry to bother you. I'm just enjoying the sun set over the park while I take a break from patrolling the city."

"It's no bother. The sun is beautiful tonight." She looked out over the park and smiled at the beauty it held.

"Marinette?" He questioned suddenly, turning to make eye contact. "Are you in love? Do you have someone you love?"

"Oh uh, I guess I did..once. I'm trying to move on now." She nervously played with her hair and Chat frowned.

"How do you do that? Just get up one day and decide to move on?"

"Well the way I see it, there's only three possible outcomes." Marinette watched as Chat Noir stretched, raising an eyebrow at her words.

"Really?"

"Yes. Optimistically, you start to move on and the other person realizes how much they really care about you. Pessimistically, you start to move on and neither the person you love or the new person like you and you end up alone…but you're already alone so you haven't lost a thing. And then middle ground..you try to move on and the new person likes you too. Starting fresh I guess. At least, that's how I think about it."

"Makes sense I guess. Lately I feel like I should move on..but I don't know how. Or who…I don't want to drag some girl down as a rebound."

"I don't see it that way. As long as you're honest about your intentions. Heck, find someone else looking for a hook up. Leave the emotions out of it. Even better."

"A hook up. Hm. Thanks Marinette. You're the best!" Chat Noir took off, doing a flip across to the next roof, and Marinette laughed, shaking her head at his antics, before heading inside.

"Alright guys," Marinette addressed the Kwami's currently playing dress up on her chaise. "Time for bed. I've got school in the morning." Crawling under the covers, Marinette snuggled into her pillows as Tikki turned off the lights. "Thanks Tikki."

"You're welcome, Marinette." The little god curled up on Marinette's arm, hugging her holder as they both fell asleep.

Across the city however..

"A hook up. Who would I even hook up with, Plagg?"

"Why do I care?" Plagg flew down to Adrien's bed and stretched, sinking into the blankets.

"You said you were tired of me talking about ladybug all the time. I want to move on, Plagg. She doesn't like me. I need to give up and find something else to think about."

Plagg was suddenly hit with inspiration.

"You know, kid…I think I know the perfect person."

"Really? Who?"

"That baking girl, Marinette. I bet she has access to all sorts of cheese breads.."

"Marinette..it was her idea. She's trying to move on too. Do you think she'd go for it? She's always stuttering around me. I think I intimidate her."

"Kid," Plagg began. "I bet she'll jump higher than the Eiffel Tower at the idea."

"Thanks, Plagg." Adrien smiled as he crawled into bed. Tomorrow he'd make his move on Marinette. "Goodnight."

"Night, kid. Make sure you keep your feet to yourself."

"No problem, buddy." Adrien closed his eyes and began to drift off, barely noticing when the little cat kwami crawled onto the blanket, right on top of Adrien's feet, and fell asleep.
