Author's note:
Welcome to my story! I hope you will enjoy it. I just want to say that English isn't my first language, so I might make some mistakes.
I have a general idea of where this story will go and I'm excited to write it down. Please let me know in a review if you enjoyed this first chapter :D

Chapter 1: The Phone Call

It's a quiet Wednesday afternoon at the garage and Happy's working on his own bike when he hears Half Sack yelling his name.

"Hap! Some girl on the phone for you, in the office." Sack says, walking his way.

"A girl, aye?" Chibs smirks. "You got something going on, brother?" He teases.

Happy just flips him off and walks to the office. Curious but annoyed he picks up the phone. "Yeah?" He asks.

"Ehm.. Are you Happy?" A soft voice asks.

"Yeah, who's this?"

"I, ehm, I'm Riley.." A soft voice on the other side of the phone says.

"So.. Why are you calling?"

"Oh, I'm sorry.. Do you remember my friend Erin?" She asks. "From Tacoma?" She adds when he doesn't answer.

"I'm bad with names. Same question." Come to the point little lady, he adds in his head.

"Well.. She died.." He hears her swallow thickly. "She died giving birth.. The baby is yours, Happy." She finally says.

"What?!" He shouts. "How do you know?" He's shocked. How could he be a father? How could he raise kids? He swore he would never have kids!

"I-I think you should come over.." She says, her voice shaky. "We're at St. Thomas, she wanted to tell you after she gave birth, so we came to Charming.."

"Fuck! I'm on my way." He says and hangs up. If the kid really was his, he would take responsibility for it.

He walks back in the garage, rubbing his hand over his face. "I gotta go, brother." He tells Chibs.

Chibs had been waiting to make fun of Happy, but hears the worry in his voice. "What's wrong?" He asks.

"Fuck!" Hap shouts again, slamming his fist on a workbench close to him. "Some girl I fucked in Tacoma died giving birth.. Said it's mine.."

"Holy mother of Christ.. You're going to see the kid?" Chibs asks, stunned by the information that just came over him.

"Yeah.. They're at St. Thomas. You coming with?" Hap asks.

"Sure, brother." He says. "I'm calling Clay."

Hap just nods and they walk out. His mind is going crazy. Thinking about how this could've happened and how he's gonna handle this shit. "Fuck!" He yells as he starts his bike.

When they arrive at the hospital they quickly go to the maternity ward.

"I just got a kid." He rasps to the receptionist. "Should be here somewhere. The mother died."

The women behind the desk looks at him wide eyed. "Eh.. I'm sorry for your loss, sir. What was her name."

"Erin." He says.

"And her last name?" She asks.

"The fuck should I know. I just found out." He says. His jaw tensing.

"Happy?" He hears the soft voice from the phone call behind him. "Is that you?"

He turns around and sees a small blonde woman. She looks tired and he notices that her bloodshed eyes are two different colors. One's bright blue and the other
greenish brown. "Yes that's me." He says.

"I'm Riley." She says smiling at him, but the smile doesn't reach her eyes. "Come I'll bring you to your daughter." She says softly. Her calmness makes him relax a bit.

He follows her into a small room with a hospital crib in it. "There she is.." She says. "That's you daughter."

He walks to the crib and looks inside. There's a tiny little human that looks like him lying there. "Fuck.." He mutters to himself.

"She's gorgeous." Riley says lovingly.

"Yeah.." Hap whispers. "Can I touch her?" He asks.

She chuckles. "Of course, you're her dad." She says.

He reaches out and carefully caresses her little cheek. "Shall I give you a moment alone with her?" Riley asks.

He looks at her wide eyed. "What if something happens?" He asks nervously.

"Nothing will happen." She says and lifts the newborn out of the crib. "Here hold her."

He takes his daughter from her arms and she opens her eyes. Big brown eyes surrounded by long lashes look up at him. "Hey there baby girl." He mumbles at her. "I'm your daddy."

Chibs walks in and looks at Hap and the baby. "She's very beautiful, brother."

Hap nods and the girls starts crying. "What did I do?" He asks nervously, looking at Riley.

"Nothing." She smiles. "Just rock her a bit."

Hap softly moves the girl around. "It's okey, baby girl, don't cry." He mumbles.

As she stops crying and softly mumbles contently, he already knows he's gonna do everything in his power to take care of her.
