![]() Author has written 7 stories for Doctor Who, Merlin, and Sherlock. I first joined this site in 2013 and the first fan-fiction I wrote was about a penguin breaking into the Tardis, because why not? It's fan-fiction. 90% of the things written into fan-fiction would never happen in the real movie/tv show/book/etc. (Although, Doctor Who has had dinosaurs on a spaceship, a giant wasp murderer and reference to sofas that can read, so a sassy teleporting penguin isn't that far-fetched…) Fan-fiction is creative, brilliant and in some cases terrifying. It can also be cringeworthy and stressful. Two years ago, I got writer's block with one of my stories. So I gave myself a break to think. This break grew rapidly without warning. What I'm trying to say is I've been missing from this site for two years. A lot can happen in two years. i wasn't sure if I wanted to come back here and write again. Last time round, I worked myself into states of panic for not updating quickly enough, my editing was rubbish because I was the one doing it and despite positive reviews, I was worried that my writing wasn't good enough. It was not fun. However, over the past two years, I have been steadily receiving notifications about people reviewing, favouriting and following my stories. So, I have decided to return to the magical world that is Fanfiction.net. But, probably not to my old stories. If I were to go back to them, I'd probably complete the whole story and then post the chapters for it. Because I really don't want to update them, only to bail once more. So, this is my plan; write what I want, when I want and keep a cool head while doing it. And avoid using my iPod wherever I can. Damn tiny screens. Thanks for reading. |
