"Do you trust me?" he asked seriously, those dark eyes staring into her honey-brown ones.
Her arms were wrapped around his neck, and her legs around his waist. She felt the cool breeze sway her hair left and right, her skin feeling a bit cold for a brief moment. That was no surprise, considering she was in her two-piece bikini. Obito, who was shirtless and wearing his trunks, paid no heed to the wind as he held her firmly. It was an intimate position for sure, but now was not the time for sex. That would be for later…
Now, they had to win. Yahiko and Konan had been showing off, and the Konoha couple wanted to beat them.
"Yes," Rin answered firmly, and the Uchiha smirked before throwing them off the ledge.
Rin screamed and held onto him tightly as their bodies hit the water fifteen feet below.
Yahiko laughed nearby as Rin and Obito appeared from underwater. "Not bad for first timers!"
"I say we did better than the two of you," Rin teased as she stared at the couple, "At least my top stayed on…"
Konan gaped as her face flushed, recalling how not too long ago her top had come off the moment Yahiko jumped over the ledge with her on his arms. She then smirked at the brunette.
"That was just our warm up round…"
Before the Royal Hime cruise ship headed back to base, the vessel stopped by a remote island and allowed their guests to roam around for half a day. The feeling of being on solid ground versus a moving ship made everyone grateful for the short trip.
Konan, Yahiko, Rin, and Obito had found a beautiful lake with a large rock. And for the last half hour, it had been nothing but competing on which could jump the highest before hitting the water. With no third party to keep track of how high each couple was going, it was uncertain who the winner was…
Their game lastly shortly before their attention focused on exploring the small island. Rin put on her sundress over her bikini and held Obito's hand as they followed Yahiko and Konan through the woods. The trees were much taller compared to Konoha's.
"So," Konan started, turning her head back to them with a smile, "You two are official now?"
"Yeah," Obito answered proudly. After their session last night, they changed to their clothes and walked around the cruise holding hands. There had been a small wedding in another restaurant on the cruise. Rin and Obito watched the wedding curiously, the latter thinking of the type of wedding they would have. He imagined her in a beautiful white gown, standing in front of him as she took her vows and became his wife…
"So that's why you two rushed out of there last night," Yahiko teased.
Rin decided to ignore him, her face blushing as Obito chuckled at the statement.
The four of them walked for another two hours before heading back to the cruise.
Next Day...
It was their last day of their vacation, and they made sure to spend it right by doing as many activities as possible.
The first activity was karaoke. Konan sang a beautiful piece to Yahiko, which had the orange-haired male giving her a smirk. After she was done, he pulled her to a tight hug and kissed her passionately. The situation had Rin thinking quickly. The only person who has ever heard her sing was herself during long showers. She knew that she had a nice singing voice, mostly due to the fact that she had been doing it since she was little.
The event host asked if there was anyone else who wanted to get on stage, and Rin made the spontaneous decision to do it. She raised her hand and stood up, choosing to ignore everyone's curious looks at her. The host handed her the microphone and asked her the song she wanted to sing. She provided the information, and within seconds the slow music started.
"And who are you dedicating this song to?" the host asked lastly.
"To my boyfriend, Obito," she replied, looking at the Uchiha sitting with the audience.
"Lovely! DJ, let's get this music started," the host said, walking away from the stage.
Rin took a deep breath as her eyes focused on him, ignoring everybody else. If she let their looks get to her, then her nerves would kick in. She needed to focus, and Obito's smile gave her the courage to start singing. Her voice was slightly shaky at first, but then it harmonized as she pushed aside the uncomfortness.
Her body swayed slowly left and right as her voice harmonized to the microphone and through the crowd. She watched as Obito gave her a loving look, and for a moment she imagined it was just the two of them. The area was black, but a light shone on just the two of them. And in that moment, no one else existed but them. Rin slowly walked over to him as she continued to sing, stopping right in front of him as her hand touched his cheek. He placed his hand over hers before pulling her even closer, to the point that she sat on his lap.
The song began to finish, and suddenly the crowd cheered. And as Rin finished the song, her face flushed upon seeing how everyone clapped and stared at them.
"Now what a beautiful song that was! Clap everyone if you felt that love in the air," the host said as he approached the couple.
The clapping got louder, and Rin couldn't help but bury her face on the crook of Obito's neck.
"This is so embarrassing," she murmured, and he pulled her head back before kissing her lips.
"I didn't know you could sing,"
"Only my shower knows," she joked.
"You have a beautiful voice," he said, hugging her, "Thank you for singing to me,"
After the karaoke, the DJ changed the music to more of disco and dance. The guests danced in and around the pool area. Obito and Rin danced for a good hour, the former tickling her whenever she tried to grind on his crotch. He would then kiss her cheek and neck, enjoying her reaction.

They had their dinner with Konan and Yahiko by the pool area as well. Majority of the guests were inside the restaurants, which allowed the four of them to have the pool deck nearly to themselves.
"What's next for the two of you?" Konan asked.
"I have a couple of more weeks left of studies before the council member reviews my petition for Hokage," Obito replied, his arm over Rin's shoulder. His brunette girlfriend was leaning against him. "And you two?"
"You have inspired me to look into the kage position," Yahiko replied, taking a sip of his drink. "It's something I've thought of before but not from the same perspective as you. Ever since meeting you, my mind has changed,"
"Maybe we'll see each other at the next Kage summit?" Obito said, and Yahiko nodded.

After having dinner and freshening up, they made love. Obito thrusted slowly into her, groaning against her ear as he pressed her body against the mattress. Rin brushed her fingers through his hair, each thrust increasing the pleasure. She kissed his shoulder as she lifted her legs so they wrapped around his waist.
They climaxed together, lying in bed afterwards. Obito had an arm around her as she laid her head on his chest.
"I'm going to miss this," she said softly before elaborating, "Being able to spend time with you without anyone else asking us questions,"
Obito agreed to that, "We can tell them when we're ready…"
"Do you think we'll be able to do this…" she asked slowly, looking up at him curiously.
Without being married, her staying at his place over night would raise a lot of eyebrows.
"You know I can always stop by whenever I want. I'll be there each night,"
"My bed may be too small for the two of us,"
"We'll make it work," he said before whispering against her lips, "We can always do it in the shower,"
Rin snorted before laughing out loud. Nonetheless, she could imagine herself holding onto him as he did her against the shower wall…
There was a knock on the door, and the couple looked at each other curiously.
"I'll get it," Obito said, putting on his pajama pants.
He walked over to the door and opened it, surprised to find Sara on the other side. She wore a mini dress and had a large bottle of wine in her hand.
"Hey there handsome! I've been looking for you the entire-" her eyes suddenly noticed Rin sitting up on the bed. From the way that the brunette held the thin silky sheet against her bare chest, the waitress knew that she was naked underneath. Her eyes then went to the handsome Uchiha, who was shirtless with a hickey on his neck. Sara gulped. "...Day…"
"I've been busy," Obito replied, and Sara's eyes narrowed towards Rin.
"I can see that,"
"Is there something you need?"
Sara shrugged, "Um...yeah your room won a free bottle of wine… And I came here to give it to you,"
"Oh, great thanks! Rin and I can use some wine right now," he said, grabbing the bottle from her. "Thank you very much,"
Sara gave a slow nod before leaving, and Obito closed the door to a smirking Rin.
"She was lying. She got that wine because she wanted to impress you and hope that you'll drink it with her," his girlfriend said with a smirk.
"Then let's toast to Sara getting us free wine?"
Rin giggled and shook her head, taking the wine glass from him.
Next Day…
Once the cruise ship parked by its origin port, the couple said their goodbyes to Yahiko and Konan before departing back to Konoha. Obito used his Sharingan to transport them to the center of her small apartment.
They placed their bags on the floor before making out in the center of her kitchen. The kiss was hungry, their tongues brushing against each other's. Obito's hands roamed around her back before sneaking underneath her shirt and unclasping her bra.
"I guess you don't want to wait until later," Rin smirked against his lips, and he shook his head.
"Are you OK with this?"
"Y-Yeah,"
They settled on her couch with her body on top of his. He removed her shirt and bra before cupping her breasts, using the pad of this thumb to brush her nipples softly.
"Oh…" Rin moaned, the need between her legs increasing.
Once her nipples became hard, Obito licked one of them. He proceeded to suck on the breast, using his tongue to flicker against the nipple and causing Rin to moan loudly. He did the same with her other breast, and she pulled his hair while moaning against his neck.
Knock Knock Knock!
"Rin, open up!"
"Do you think she's home now?"
"Of course she is!"
The couple froze upon hearing Anko's and Shizune's voices from outside the door.
"Oh crap," Rin groaned, getting off Obito and quickly putting on her bra and shirt.
The male got up as well, rubbing the back of his head as he tried to keep his composure. He had been so close to flipping them around so he could pin her against the couch and remove the rest of her clothing.
Rin opened the door and offered her friends a bright smile, "H-Hi!"
"See Shizune, I told you she was back," Anko said to the other woman before looking at Rin up and down, "You look rumpled,"
Rin giggled nervously, "Oh...I was just...organizing stuff,"
Anko suddenly took notice of the male Uchiha standing in the background, his shirt equally rumpled as well. His hair was also a mess, as if…
"Oh," Anko said teasingly, "Word on the street that you two went together on that cruise,"
"Yeah, we did,"
"Well, looks like you two finally grew up and-"
"I'll get going," Obito suddenly said, grabbing his bag. He looked at Rin and gave her a smile, "I'll stop by later,"
"OK," she said, and the two fought the urge to give each other a goodbye kiss.
The Uchiha walked past the smirking females and left to the Uchiha compound. And once he was gone, Anko turned her teasing back to Rin.
"You two fucked, didn't you?"
Shizune gasped, "Anko! Do you have to be so direct-"
"Look at her face. We know Rin is a terrible liar. Now tell us, you two finally did it-"
"Y-Yes, we did," Rin replied defeatedly.
Her friends walked inside the apartment and closed the door. "I knew it! Now you need to tell us how it happened?"
"Should we wait for Kurenai?" Shizune asked, and Anko shook her head.
"Nah, she's busy with Asuma. Now spill it, Rin. Starting from the top,"
Rin sighed before starting from the very beginning, from the moment Kushina gave her those tickets….
Later that night, he appeared right outside of her apartment. She had been putting her clothes away when the soft knocking came through. And upon opening the door, she saw her boyfriend holding a large bouquet of flowers.
"Hey," Obito said, "I got these for you,"
"They're beautiful. Come in!"
She grabbed the flowers and placed them in one of her empty vases. Obito waited for her to be done, analyzing the adorable pajama set she wore. It consisted of a long-sleeve button-down shirt with pink shorts.
"Were you going to bed?"
"Mhmm," she said with a nod before turning to him. "I have meeting tomorrow morning,"
"I guess I'll let you sleep then?"
"You can sleep over, if you want…"
The idea had him smiling. He was hoping for that. "I would love to,"
"My bed isn't that big though,"
"We'll make it work,"
Twenty minutes later, he was down to his boxers and spooning her from behind. The window was slightly opened, allowing for a nice cool breeze to pass through.
"Did you tell Fugaku about us?" Rin asked curiously.
"Not yet," Obito said, "I plan on telling him once I'm ready to become Hokage,"
She frowned at that, "Won't that take another year or so?"
"Possibly,"
"Does that mean we have to keep our relationship a secret?"
"Not necessarily. He knows how I feel about you. And he won't stop us from pursuing a relationship,"
"OK," Rin said quietly, still wondering why they had to be a secret. She knew that the Uchiha clan had many rules to follow, a lot of them kept to themselves. Maybe this was one of them until both were ready for more?
"I love you, Rin," Obito whispered to her, kissing her cheek, "Just know that no matter what, I love you very much and we'll always be together,"
She smiled at that, closing her eyes while thinking about how much she loved him a lot too.

This chapter concludes this story. This story was always meant to be short, and it actually serves as a pre-qual for another ObiRin story I have in mind. In addition, I wanted this story to be a casual short read. I never planned for there to be cool butt-kicking plot. It was more of Obito and Rin go on a fun vacation. No missions, no fighting, no team members, etc... Just the two of them on a cruise!
The (potential) sequel to this fic will come once I finish either Her Journey or Konoha has fallen. And the story line of the sequel may be around the time Obito is getting ready to become Hokage.
