A/N: Last chapter the team's first mission was basically that of S3E3, but retold with a more confident Chuck, as well as he and Sarah in a happy relationship and working well together. I forgot to say that I'd changed Devon's backstory to keep him completely clueless about their spy life.
This chapter is the retelling of S3E4.
Thanks for reviews. Most people seemed happy with the changes I made to what happened in the last chapter.
JohnnyRayChandlett has, once again, given me great suggestions, after pre-reading this.
No beta for this, but thanks to MyNameIsJeffNImLost for kindly sending a PM outlining possible corrections to the last chapter. I really appreciate these PMs, as they help improve the chapters for others to read.

Chapter 10 – Devon
Sarah and Chuck have joined Casey in Castle.
Before they had arrived, he'd given his description of the man who's stabbed him to the Los Angeles NSA analysts and one of them had sat with him to draw a likeness. So far, they had not identified the man.
Casey is now scanning through photos of men who had been working either for the premier or as a member of the embassy staff.
Sarah watches Chuck pacing the floor. He's understandably disturbed by Devon being taken prisoner.
He stops behind Casey who is determinedly not looking at him. "Chuck, stop freaking out."
Chuck immediately goes into blabber mode. "Oh, I'm not freaking out. I'll tell you why I'm not freaking out. That would require me overreacting, and I don't think it's technically possible for me to overreact to my brother-in-law being kidnapped!"
"We're doing the best we can, Chuck. Why don't you go upstairs; go to work. We'll call you as soon as we have any news."
Chuck looks shocked that Casey would say that, but then notices his sister on one of the screens. "Look at that... Ellie is making her 50th call to Awesome within the hour, in addition to the 20 that she's made to me already today. She's-she's losing it."
He turns around and walks up to where Sarah is sitting listening to one of the NSA analyst's messages. He raises his voice and asks her,. ""What... what am I supposed to tell her?"
Raising his voice further, he says, "They're probably torturing him as we speak."
Sarah tries to calm him with a soothing tone to her voice. "No, there is no reason to think that."
"Yeah, you're right. There are hundreds of other nightmare scenarios far worse."
She stands and walks up to him, initially planning to reach for his hand, but then decides to put her hands on his shoulders. She says, quietly, so only he can hear, "You're spiraling, my love. We need that brilliant mind of yours to help us." She removes one of her hands from his shoulder, to lovingly tap her finger at his forehead. "Please come out of panic mode and go into tactical mode."
She watches him take in what she's saying. She can tell he would have continued to freak out, but her calm and quiet voice seems to get through to him. He nods and takes a deep breath, then mutters, "Tactical mode. Yes, I can do that."
Then he looks at her and smiles slightly and leans forward and kisses her. He's thought of something!
When he pulls away, he whispers to her, "Thank you, Sarah. You grounded me. I can actually think now. I love you." He brought his mouth right next to her ear. She could feel his breath on it and starts to feel giddy. Then he whispers again, "I don't need tactical mode, I need hacker mode."
He pulls away from her. She manages to hide her disappointment, but is happy to have him back from his anxiety.
Casey painfully grunts. "You may calm him, but I don't like seeing it, Walker."
Chuck sits down and pulls a laptop to him. He starts tapping away, furiously.
Sarah realizes what he's doing, leans down next to him and quietly asks, "Looking at traffic cameras?"
"Uh huh."
She smiles. "Good thinking…"
"Batman," he replies.
That doesn't make sense to her. "Huh?"
He smiles, but doesn't look away from the laptop. "From a TV show in the sixties. Robin always said that."
I should have guessed!
Shaking her head, she stands and leaves him to his hacking, knowing that he'll find something.
Chuck looks up. "Looking at the Hospital surveillance, I spotted a man talking a very tall man out to an ambulance on a gurney. The man lying down looks like Devon."
Casey moves closer. "Can you see the face of the man pushing it?"
"Not yet."
Sarah joins them and all three watch the feed. The man never faces the camera. He gets Devon in the back and moves to the front of the ambulance, around the other side from the camera."
Casey immediately asks, "What about other cameras?"
Chuck's shoulders slump. "The one that would have pointed at that side wasn't working."
Casey grunts. An unhappy, irritated grunt. "Follow the ambulance."
They watch it leave the hospital grounds. Sarah knows what he'll do next and she's right. He switches to one of the other windows he has open. This is obviously a traffic camera pointing in the right direction.
Chuck has obviously noted the time of the hospital surveillance and searches for that time on the traffic feed. "There!" he cries.
He and Casey start watching it, but Sarah notices something on one of the feeds from the Buy More. "Err, guys. Look at this."
The three of them watch a dazed looking Devon Woodcomb walk up to the Nerd Herd desk.
She grabs Chuck's hand and pulls him up from the chair and up the stairs. She calls, "Come on, Casey."
When they get to the Buy More, Anna has given Devon a water and sat him down.
He Buy More crew pull away, seeing Devon's brother-in-law walking up to him. Casey holds back to make sure they stay that way, particularly keeping Jeff and Lester from nosing around.
Chuck leans down and hugs Devon then leans back and says, "Tell me you're okay."
Sarah is standing behind Chuck, but hears Devon's reply very clearly. Her blood runs cold at the answer. "Chuck, they think I'm a spy. I'm in trouble here, man. They think I'm you."
Devon has joined them in Castle. The local NSA analysts have been comparing the image one of them drew, with Devon's help, to those of known spies in the area. Hopefully. They'll find a match soon..
Sarah looks around at the people in the conference room.
Devon is, understandably, looking worried and very nervous.
Casey is looking irritated. This is a fairly normal expression for him. Right now, she can't tell if it's because the Ring are on their doorstep and obviously getting close to Chuck, or whether it's because they have a civilian in with them.
Her boyfriend is looking anxious for his brother-in-law. Knowing him, he won't be worrying about the enemy closing in on him. Normally he would, but with Devon being the target, even mistakenly, that's Chuck's focus. I love him even more for that
She herself is worried for Devon, but she can't help it, she's more worried for Chuck, particularly in his current frame of mind. He might do something dangerous. I hope he talks to me first.
The woman on the screen is unreadable, as always.
Chuck had just grabbed the drawing from Casey, who'd been holding it. Sarah saw him flash, just as the general started talking. Sarah turns her attention back to the general.
". from what he has told us, we can conclude that the woman Devon was with is Sydney Prince, the head of a ring cell in Los Angeles. She has tried to recruit several of our agents."
Chuck chips in, "She is." Sarah can tell he's holding something back. Probably shielding Devon from some unpleasant facts.
Devon says, "She knows everything about me, Chuck. Ellie, too."
Sarah looks at Chuck and says, "Everything except who the real spy in the family is."
Casey chips in, "That's an understandable mistake. One of them looks like a spy, and the other one looks... like Chuck."
Sarah doesn't like that comment, but can't argue with it. Tightening her lips, she says nothing.
Devon reaches into his pocket and pulls out a circular device. "She gave me this. She told me she'd contact me with instructions."
They all recognize it being just like a device they saw a few weeks ago.
Chuck says, "It's a ring communication device, General."
She replies. "Exactly. It works off a closed network, but the NSA has recently developed new technology to crack it. Now we can put it into use."
Chuck smiles, "All right. Fantastic news. Sounds like a plan. I'm going to get Awesome back to my sister before she has an aneurysm."
The general cuts him off. "You can't take him home quite yet, Chuck. We still need to talk about how we're going to use Devon."
Sarah tenses and sees Chuck do the same. He turns back to face the screen and says, slowly and very firmly, "No one's using Devon, at all."
The general replies equally clearly, "Using Devon is our best option. Sydney won't go to her superiors with his identity until she definitively knows whether she has turned him or burned him. When Sydney contacts him, he'll do what she says just long enough for us to track her, find her and bring her in."
Chuck is starting to get angry. Sarah takes his hand and squeezes it. He looks down at her and nods, acknowledging both her support and that she's telling him to stay calm and think.
Chuck looks back. "That's a last resort. I'll think of another way. Give me an hour."
Beckman looks at him for a while, then says, "An hour." She ends the call.
Sarah turns to Chuck and says, "I don't know what you're thinking, but I don't want you risking yourself, Chuck."
He looks back at her. I need some time with that Ring phone, then I'll talk to you about my plan. Can you take Devon back to Ellie and come back quickly?"
She smiles. "Quickly is what I do best, Chuck."
He grins and leans over to whisper in her ear. "Thankfully, not all the time."
She is surprised that he can even think of sex at a time like this, but he's obviously thinking of pleasant things to distract himself from panicking. She gives him a kiss and whispers back, "Later, my love."
She stands and gets Devon to do the same.
As they walk up the stairs, Chuck calls to them, "Sarah, can you tell Ellie something other than what actually happened?"
She calls back, "Sure," while feeling a bit depressed. Lying is what I do best
Sarah and Devon get into her car,
For the first time today, his looks are not ones of worry. "Wow, Sarah. I've never been in a Porsche before."
"Sorry, Devon, we haven't much time, we need to talk about the cover story, but I'm going to ring Ellie first."
"Oh, I should do that!" He reaches for his phone.
She snatches it off him. "Sorry, you can't. Then she'd ask why you haven't phoned before. We'll talk about this after my call. Don't say anything."
She calls Ellie, who picks up immediately and her voice comes through the car speakers. "Sarah?"
"Ellie, I'm bringing Devon home."
"Why didn't he call me?"
"He didn't have his phone when he got to the Buy More where Chuck and I found him."
"Wha-"
"We'll tell you when we get there, Ellie."
They hear her huff. A grumpy sounding voice says, "Okay."
"See you soon." With that, Sarah hangs up.
Devon immediately starts up. "Why tell her I was at the Buy More?"
"Lying is more convincing if you stick close to the truth," she replies.
"Okay. And the story is?"
"After your last patient, you rested on a gurney before setting off, just wanting a quick nap first. You must have fallen into a deep sleep. Some prankster in the hospital must have pushed you into an ambulance and driven to the Buy More parking lot."
She stops talking as she merges with the I-5 traffic. Then she continues, "You were staggering into the Buy More after waking, when Chuck and I entered and spotted you."
"What about my phone?"
You must have dropped it at the hospital. Oh, and Chuck's phone battery is dead, which is why he hasn't called his sister."
"Wow! You're good at this."
She nods, "Sadly, part of the job. Sticking as close as possible to the truth makes it more believable."
He's quiet for a few seconds, then says, "Like you and Chuck?"
She is surprised by that, but answers honestly. "Chuck and I were in a 'cover relationship' meant to make you think we really were boyfriend / girlfriend."
"Chuck told me, but it looked so real."
She turns and briefly looks at him while saying, "That's because we both wanted it to be real, Devon."
"Right. Truth behind the lie, huh?"
"That's right. We're in a real relationship now, Devon. We love each other and have told the general. She's finally accepted it."
"Awesome! I'm glad for you both, Sarah."
"Thanks."
They say no more until she's parked the car.
As they get out and start walking to the apartment, she says, "Let me do the talking, Devon. Remember you were in a daze most of the time."
Ellie comes out of their apartment and looks shocked. She rushes to her husband and hugs him. "Devon, where were you?"
Before he can reply, Sarah starts talking. "Looks like he was the subject of a prank. Someone seems to have taken a sleeping Devon to the Buy More parking lot in an ambulance, which is being taken back now. He was staggering into the Buy More, only half awake, when Chuck and I got there."
"Were you drunk?" Ellie asks Devon.
"No, just exhausted. I must've passed out on a gurney.""
Sarah was proud of him. Sticking to the truth.
She is looking irritated now. "Who was it?"
Devon shrugs. "Dunno, Babe."
Sarah chips in, "He was dropping off as I drove him over, Ellie. I think he still needs a lot of sleep."
Ellie looks at the rings under his eyes. "You're right, Sarah. Leave him with me. I'll get him to bed." With that she pulls her husband into the apartment.
Sarah drives at her normal, fast speed back to Castle, just slow enough not to get airborne.
As she walks down the stairs into Castle, she sees that Chuck is hunched over something on the bench in front of him. She doesn't want to disturb him, in case it is something breakable.
As she walks around the end of the bench, she sees he has opened the Ring phone and is soldering a wire within it.
He sits back. "Done it."
She moves next to him and kisses his cheek. "Done what, Chuck?"
He starts, surprised she is there. "Don't sneak up on me like that, Sarah!"
She grins, "How should I sneak up on you then?"
He thinks for a few seconds, then grins and replies, "Well, you could put your arms around me, then kiss my cheek."
Feeling comfortable kissing him here, in Castle, she reflects on the previous two years. What a difference to that time when she played the aloof agent and how many kisses down there they might have missed.
Bringing herself back to the present, she kisses his lips and then quickly sits next to him. "You still haven't told me what you've done."
"I've modified the phone so that all calls are routed through to here. I'll tell her I'm the agent, not Devon. If she wants me to go anywhere, I'll take the phone and you can monitor the calls and let me know what to do on my wireless ear bug."
"Sounds a good plan, and well done for setting it up, but you're not going anywhere, Chuck."
He starts to argue, but she's having none of it. "I'm not losing you, Chuck."
He obviously sees her pleading look and the tears forming. "Let's talk about a plan later, Sarah. I'll finish off here. Oh, the calls can also be recorded here, I'm about to connect it up to our system."
She starts to panic. "Doesn't that give them access to our network?"
He gives her a flat look. "Do I look stupid?"
She puts her hand on his arm. "Sorry, Chuck. Tell me everything."
"I stopped their network access on the phone first.. Now they can only make calls and we can call them too. When that happens, you can listen and record."
She kisses him. "My genius." I'll tell Casey,"
As she gets up, she sees him close the phone and prepare to make the other connections.
She calls to Casey, "Come and see what Chuck's done."
Almost as soon as Casey gets up, the phone rings. The two agents rush to Chuck.
Chuck activates the recording and routes the sound to the speakers. He answers the call.
A female voice can be heard, "Hello, Devon. We need to meet."
Chuck doesn't wait. "This isn't Devon, he gave the phone to me."
The woman is obviously perturbed. "Who is this?"
He replies, "This is not Devon Woodcomb, for sure. He's just a civilian. I'm the one you were looking for."
There's since for a while, then she speaks again. "Then I want to meet you."
Sarah is shaking her head, but he ignores her and replies, "Buy More, after closing time?"
"Very well, be there at 7pm. Alone." She ends the call.
Sarah is not happy with him for doing this, but will go along with it. "We'll be there, too, Chuck. I'm not letting you out of my sight."
"Okay, Sarah, just let me talk to her before you come in all guns blazing. I want to know if she's alone on this or whether Devon and Ellie are at risk from others."
"We can torture that out of her," Casey offers.
Chuck turns to him. "Let me try first."
Casey nods, obviously a bit unhappy but reasonable enough to accept Chuck's plan.
Casey is hiding behind the racks on the left side of the shop floor and Sarah on the right. Chuck is standing at the Nerd Herd desk. It's 7pm and Sydney has yet to arrive.
Sarah talks into her watch, "Stay calm, Chuck. We've got this."
As she finishes, the front door opens. Sydney Prince walks in, but not alone. Four men follow her in.
"Chuck pretends to look at his watch and mutters, "Don't shoot."
Sarah hears Casey respond, "Okay." She responds the same way, but her trigger finger is twitchy. No one is going to hurt her man.
Sarah watches Sydney walk up to Chuck. 2So, we meet. In an electronics store. Which is different. No matter. Who are you?"
Chuck is staying amazingly calm. "The one you have to deal with from now on."
"Oh, I don't have to deal with you until I believe you are worth talking to. Mr. Buy More, I want to see if you have any problem with Glen and Ian here." Two of the men move forward. Two very muscular men. They stop in front of Chuck, one on either side.
Sarah quietly tells him, "Flash on self-defense, My love."
Chuck sighs and looks down, while murmuring, "If I have to."
He looks up and amazingly fast, kicks the on of the left between the legs and then swiftly spins and kicks the other in the face, knocking him out. Back to the first, he extends his wrist and hits the man's jaw with the heel of his hand, so fast and with such power the man falls back and doesn't rise.
Sarah has seen him fight before, but it is so impressive to watch. Sydney obviously thinks so too. She starts to clap. "Impressive. You'll do."
"I'll do for what?"
"I have a mission for you. Complete it and Devon Woodcomb lives." She hands him a piece of paper. "Details on there."
One of the other two men hands her a package, then, like his comrade picks up one of the unconscious men and walks to the door.
Sydney hand the package to Chuck. "I'll call you from the car with instructions."
She follows her men out of the store.
Sarah runs to him and wraps her arms around him. As she pulls away, he says, "Thanks, I needed that, Sarah."
Casey joins them. "I wish I'd just shot them all."
Sarah knows what Chuck is going to say, so she beats him to it. "There may be others, so that would have put Devon at risk."
She gets a grunt in reply.
She looks at them both and says, "Let's get back to Castle."
They've only been in Castle for five minutes when the Ring phone flashes and beeps.
By this time, Chuck has opened the package to see the contents.
Chuck answers and they all hear Sydney's voice. ""From now on, Buy More, I will speak to you through the earpiece included in the package. And you will speak to me through the watch we sent. Now, put in the earpiece, and put on the watch."
Chuck looks at Sarah, who shrugs. Casey nods.
Chuck replies, "Okay, putting on the earpiece now." When he does the earpiece beeps. Sarah sees a light come on at the side.
Sydney continues, "Now we can track you on our own GPS network. Be at the crystal towers downtown in one hour. Come alone. Oh, and, Buy More, the earpiece is also an explosive device. Remove it, or deviate from my instructions in any way, and I will detonate it, ruining that lovely face of yours." She hangs up.
Sarah looks at Chuck who is now starting to panic. She experiences a fleeting feeling of anger at herself. Didn't I say I wouldn't let him go, wouldn't risk losing him? But then his clear reasoning, and those gorgeous brown eyes, made me give in to his plan, and look where we are now - exactly what I didn't want!
Chuck's frightened voice cuts through her thoughts. "Sarah, Casey, If I didn't have it in my ear, I might be able to disarm it, but not as it is now."
She grabs his hand. "I know, Chuck. We'll have to go along with her plan."
He nods. "I'm going alone, Sarah, or I'll die."
She shakes her head. "You'll go alone, but I'm going before you and will meet you inside."
"And I'll be in the van, this time," Casey adds.
Sarah is sitting in her car in the building's underground parking. Looking at her watch, it's time. "Chuck? Chuck, it's me. Can you hear me?"
She's happy to hear his voice. She's been waiting for thirty minutes. "Yes, Sarah, I can hear you. Where are you?"
She replies, "In the underground parking. Are you in yet?"
"No, just outside, waiting for her call."
Sarah reminds him, "As soon as she does, Casey's going to start tracking the signal. As soon as we've tracked her location, he has a team ready to bring her in and then you're done."
He sounds amazingly calm. "I don't know it's that simple, Sarah. She could just detonate this earpiece."
"Not if I shoot her first," growls Casey.
"Okay, Chuck, just do what she says until we see her."
He goes quiet for a minute. She is running up the stairs when she hears him again. "She's just told me to go to the penthouse on the 12th floor, but warned of extensive security to avoid."
Casey chips in "She's close. Wasn't on the line long enough to get an exact location. Need another call."
"You'll have to get it when I'm in there, Casey."
As she gets to the first reception area, she spots Chuck facing her with a guy facing him. Probably a security guard. This guy is innocent, so she's not going to kill him, but he does need to be taken out. She pulls out the tranquilizer gun that Chuck insisted she carry. One shot and the man dropped to the floor. She rushes over to Chuck.
"Thanks, Sarah. Tranq, I hope."
She smiles and nods. His life is in danger and he thinks of others first. My Chuck!
She grabs his hand after taking the security guard's pass, and pulls him to the elevators. When in one, and heading up to the 12th floor, Chuck asks, "What do you think is up there?"
She is watching the numbers increase, totally in agent mode. "No idea. We'll find out soon."
The doors open onto an empty space and they step out.
"This doesn't feel right, Sarah."
"Just keep your eyes and ears open, Chuck."
Just as they get to a wide corridor, three men come around the corner to the left. One says, "Hey, you're not allowed up here!"
Sarah, still using the tranq gun shoots one, but the other two drop as well. She smiles and looks at her boyfriend, who is also holding a tranq gun. "Nice shooting, Chuck."
He then looks over her shoulder and shoots twice, then drops to the floor and shoots again between her legs.
It all happens so fast that by the time she twists around, she has nothing to shoot at; three more men on the floor at the other end of the corridor.
She looks down at the man who still has his right hand, holding a gun. Between her legs. "Hmm. I hope next time you shoot between my legs, you're using a different gun, Lover."
He snorts and she pulls him up.
He then places a finger over her lips and is obviously getting another call from the Ring agent.
After listening for a while, he tells Sarah, "Down the hall to our left is an unmarked door. The lock works via retina scan. She told me to cut out one of the guards' eyes to open it!"
She is about to reply, when he continues, "Well, there's another way, isn't there?"
The two of them drag the nearest guard to the door and, while she holds him, Chuck opens his eye and it scans.
"Not sure why you had to hold him, not me, Sarah."
She grins at him, "Because I'm stronger than you, Chuck."
He grunts, but knows it's true.
They enter together. Damn him! I should go first!
As they enter, they can both see the symbol on the floor. "Sarah, this is a CIA facility."
She is as surprised as he is. "Yes, it is. Good job we haven't killed anyone. She must want you to steal some data."
She looks at him, he's obviously listening again.
"Sarah, she says there's a man in the office at the end of the hall. She wants me to kill him."
"Well, that's obviously not going to happen," she replies.
"Okay, let's go and find him, anyway." He sets off and she follows, once again muttering about being in front.
Chuck opens the door and calls to the man standing with his back to them, "I'm not going to hurt you, but you need to stay still."
The man tenses. "I recognize your voice from recordings, Chuck Bartowski."
He turns around and they both recognize him. Daniel Shaw.
Chuck freezes, but Sarah doesn't. She fires the tranq gun and Shaw topples to the floor.
Chuck is freaking out. "We were supposed to kill him. Sarah. Not only that, you heard who he is!"
She places a hand on his shoulder, which does settle him a bit. "I know, Chuck, but you wouldn't want me to actually kill him, would you?"
"No!" he cries, but then thinks about who that is on the floor. "Well, maybe. He's the one –"
She cuts him off as there may be bugs in the room. "I know, Chuck." She raises her eyes to the ceiling to give him a clue. Thankfully, he does and nods.
They hear footstep approaching. Stiletto heals. She whispers to him, "Sydney. I'll hide behind the desk."
She bends down and pulls the dart from his chest, twisting it as she goes. Blood starts to pour from the wound. She then takes his gun and hands it to Chuck. Quickly moving to the other side of the desk, she pulls out her gun. Tranquilizers are too good for this bitch.
She hears the Ring agent say, "Gun?" There's a pause then she continues, "Take off the watch. Well done. Cute and talented." She then hears a small beep. Sydney must have disabled to earpiece before saying, "Lose the body, keep the phone. We'll be in touch."
Sarah then hears the stiletto footsteps again. Sydney must be walking away. Sydney starts to talk again, "Welcome to="
Sarah stands and shoots the woman in the back piercing her heart. She drops to the floor.
Chuck gasps. "Why, Sarah?"
Sarah looks at him and says, "She was threatening my man. She didn't deserve to live."
The room suddenly gets very cold. Sarah is like a female warrior made out of ice, standing in front of Chuck. He shudders, obviously understanding that she would do anything to keep him safe, including becoming the cold and ruthless killer she is trying to put behind her.
Shaw has been taken away and the three of them are glaring at the screen in front of them, as the general appears.
Chuck doesn't hold back at all. "How the hell did Shaw get here, General?"
For the first time in Sarah's memory, Diane Beckman looks apologetic. "I'm sorry, I didn't know he'd escaped from the CIA detention center. He was obviously determined to be with the team that is most effective at tackling the Ring."
"Well, their security better tighten up and your intel improve too. Chuck snaps.
Casey growls, obviously unhappy with Chuck for speaking to the general like that. Sarah grabs Chuck's hand, he turns to her and she shakes her head at him.
He turns back to the screen. "I'm sorry, General, but this was a shitstorm."
Beckman doesn't reprimand him. "You're right, Chuck. It was."
Both agents gasp at that.
The general continues, "We, and the CIA, are focusing on sorting both those things out. It seems there are Shaw sympathizers in the CIA, so the new facility will have no humans onsite."
Casey grunts. "Good."
Beckman continues, "Some good news, though, team. We think Devon's identity has been contained."
Chuck questions that, "How can you know that, General?"
She replies, "No Ring activity in the area at the moment. They normally retaliate quickly. However, you all need to keep alert." She looks at Sarah. "Agent Walker, you moving in with your boyfriend is well timed. That means two experienced agents protecting him and his family."
Sarah just nods, but is really happy about the general calling Chuck that. She looks at him. He's grinning.
"You did well today, Analyst Bartowski." Her emphasis on his title is a clear reminder to him that he wasn't an agent. Sarah sees him wince.
The general then looks at them all. "Well done, team. Good result. That will be all." She reaches forward and the call ends.
"I'm getting out of here," says Casey.
"We'll be following soon, Casey," she says.
Sarah waits for Casey to leave and then whispers to Chuck. "You have some shooting practice waiting for you, Lover."
A/N: So, a retelling of S3E4, again with their relationship change.
I really appreciate hearing your thoughts about my chapters, so please let me know in a review.
