A/N: Last chapter retold S3E6. Chuck had Sarah helping him deal with Manoosh. It still ended with Chuck letting the NSA take the guy off to a bunker, which upset him, as in the show, but he at least had Sarah to console him.

This chapter is the retelling of S3E7.

Thanks for reviews. I am so glad people seem to be enjoying it as much as I am writing it.

No beta, but thankfully, JohnnyRayChandlett has read through it and offered great advice again.

Prove Yourself
Chapter 13 – Mask

Sarah knows it will take more than a night of passion to help Chuck with his feelings about effectively bunkering Manoosh, but it had certainly helped take his mind off of it. She knew sex was not a solution, but it was all she could think of back then and he had so wanted it.

This morning, a day off for them both, he's been trying to act 'normal,' smiling a lot and acting jovial. He'd even made them breakfast, with a flourish. She wasn't fooled, but he'd said he didn't want to talk about it. She'll wait for him to open up. However, there's another thing that may still be playing on his mind, as it has on hers, so, a day off is the best time to talk about it. If it is on my mind, it certainly is on his.

"Chuck, can I talk to you about something?"

He smiles. "You know I used to hate it when you said you wanted to talk. It was often a bombshell moment."

She winces. "I'm so sorry about that, Chuck."

"I know you are, my love. What d'you want to talk about now, though."

"In the last mission, you mentioned to the general about the possibility of me seducing Manoosh."

His face darkens. "I thought that's what she'd suggest."

She pulls him over to the sofa and gets him to sit down facing her. "I want you to know more about those in my past, Chuck."

"You don't have-"

She cuts him off. "Yes, I do, Chuck." She sighs. "I have never had sex with anyone to get what the government needed, Chuck. Ever." Please, please, please believe me. I've never been so open and honest about my past.

"I didn't-"

She places a finger on his lips. "I know you didn't say it, Chuck, but I know you; how you spiral thinking about things and ending up convincing yourself that the worst thought is reality."

He starts to look away, so she places her hand on his cheek and stops him. "Looks like I'm right."

After a few seconds, he nods. "I worry you'll not have a choice, Sarah, that you'll be forced to."

What was he really saying? That I did not have a choice about whether I had sex or not? Who does he think might have forced me?

To clarify his meaning, she asks, "To get what I need from them? Or the mark forcing me?"

He replies immediately, "Either."

"Chuck, I have never gone that far 'for the greater good.' If alcohol or the possibility of sex doesn't loosen their tongues, I knock them out and interrogate them later at a CIA base." She pauses. "If they try to force me, I resort to violence, every time."

She is not sure he is clear, so she emphasizes, "No one has ever gotten beyond second base with me, Chuck. Ever." She pauses, to make sure he is now clear. She continues, "But I felt sick every time I had to endure hands on my knees, chest or behind."

He starts to remonstrate with his hands in the air. "But, Sarah, even that is awful to think about. I never did that in any of our time in our first two years," he complained, also whining.

She grabs his hands and quietly replies, "I know, Chuck, but you're too much of a gentleman for that, even if I'd have wanted you to." She held his gaze. "And, Chuck, I did want you to, on our first date."

He looks at her, shocked, then smirks. "Our first, first date?"

She grins. "Yes, our first, first date, my baggage handler."

He huffs. "I'd been brought up better than that!"

She smiles, "I know. More's the pity."

He gives her a flat look. "Don't I know it."

She pulls his left hand up and places it on her right breast, over her blouse. "Seems you have some catching up to do."

His look gets to her as it always does. He has felt her completely naked, but this still brings out that look of joy. Then he pulls his hand away, saying, "Not helping this conversation, Sarah."

She shakes her head. "Sorry. I couldn't resist."

With his hands by his sides, he starts talking again. "I hear what you're saying, Sarah, and thank you for telling me all that, but it still upsets me when I see you being held by other men, or dancing with them and certainly if you go off with them to a room where they think they'll get lucky. I can't stop my brain thinking all those thoughts. I hate it."

She places her hand on his arm. "That mission with Lon Kirk was bad, wasn't it?"

He looks up at the ceiling. "God, yes. Seeing him with you on that yacht nearly killed me! And Casey knew it and was fueling my fears."

She squeezes his arm. "I'm sorry, Chuck. I was still completely in my Agent Walker mode back then and didn't even think about you. Mind you, you weren't supposed to even be there."

"I know. I was worried about you, what he might do to you."

She huffs. "Forgetting that I am totally capable of handling myself."

He looks at her and says, "I didn't know that, Sarah, and, even now, I would still worry."

Sarah smiles sadly at him. "I know and I love you for it." They both just look into each other's eyes for a while.

She has to finish what she wants to tell him. "Anyway, now I refuse to do any of that, as you saw me telling Beckman. I know how it affects you and, quite frankly, it affects me too. I don't want to be groped for the CIA anymore, not that it happened that often, but it's degrading. Makes me feel dirty. So, 'the greater good' will have to cope without me doing that ever again."

"Thank you, Sarah." His face does look appreciative.

She gives him a penetrating look. "So, no more thinking I will, Mister. Hear me: I won't."

He acknowledges that, then his lips quirk up. "So, can I cop a feel now?"

She laughs, stands and pulls him up. "Oh, much, much more than that, Lover. Take me to bed. Right now!"

The next morning, Chuck, Sarah and Casey are being briefed by General Beckman on the first Ring mission for the team.

"According to Daniel Shaw's intel, the golden mask of Alexander the Great, along with other art pieces, is being used by the Ring to smuggle weapons and other high-tech contraband into the country from Damascus. The mask has arrived at the museum in Los Angeles for an exhibition. We need that mask retrieved. This is a task for one person, so Colonel Casey will do that." She looks at the other two members of the team. "I am just informing the two of you, to ensure you all know that the fight against the Ring has now started."

"Chuck instantly asks the question that is also on Sarah's mind. "Do we trust his intel, General?"

The woman on the screen looks at him. "Thank you, Analyst Bartowski. It is always good to question anything from that man, but, yes, our other sources in Europe seem to believe that this information is likely to be correct."

Chuck nods, "Thank you, General."

"Has it reached it's destination yet, General?" Casey asks.

"Yes, Colonel. Apparently, they plan to install the latest security around it, later today. You should go straight there."

"Yes, General." Casey picks up a number of tools, including a coiled zip line. Chuck raises an eyebrow, seeing that. Casey says, "Just in case." He heads up the stairs.

Sarah turns back to the screen. "Do you need anything from us, General?"

Beckman replies, "Just be ready when the Colonel returns, Agent Walker." She ends the call.

Chuck simply comments, "I better head back to the Buy More. I'm supposed to be talking to Hannah about installs." He gets up and starts for the stairs.

Sarah nods, but says, "Can I just show you something, before you go?"

"Sure."

She leads him through to one of the supply closets. "It's in here."

When both are in, she closes the door and grabs him into her embrace and kisses him hard.

When they need air, he pulls back and grins at her. "Missing me?"

"Yes," is all she says before kissing him again and starts to undo his tie.

He stops her. "Sarah, it's only been four hours since we were in bed together!"

"Too long!" is her reply, reaching for him again.

He holds her away. "Much as I want to make love to you again, I have to train Hannah. She's starting to suspect something is going on with me leaving for these short trips and not taking her with me."

Sarah huffs. "Maybe I shouldn't have encouraged her to work with you."

He smiles, indulgently. "You did it because you're a kind person who wants to help people."

He always says the right thing!

"Okay," she reluctantly agrees. "But, tonight is love time, Mister."

He beams. "That'll make this day pass so much faster, Sarah."

She grins and opens the door.

Her phone rings. Casey. "Gotta problem."

"What is it, Casey?"

"Security in place. Floor sensors. Had to come down on zip line. Attachment slipped. Screw hit floor. Now sealed in. Air sucking out."

"We're coming, Casey."

There was no reply.

She rushes over to the Buy More to get Chuck. As she enters, she sees Chuck talking to Hannah. He looks up and spots her and says something to Hannah and walks around her towards his girlfriend. "What's going on? I'm in the middle of something here."

She doesn't even think about what that means. "It's Casey. It's bad."

He clearly notices her worry. "What's happened?"

"He's trapped and might be suffocating soon. We haven't got time to talk. Get your stuff." She turns and heads out of the store.

Sarah meets Chuck at the entrance of the museum. "He's only got five minutes of air left."

Chuck replies, "So, what can I do?"

Sarah replies, "You need to get on the museum's server, reboot the system, and open the vault door before Casey expires."

He stops her. "They're never going to let me on their server, Sarah."

She looks at him and smiles. "Apparently it crashed. Stopped the alarm, though. Server room is over there. I'll try to get in the crawl space above the vault. Keep your earpiece in." She rushes in the opposite direction.

She knows he's there, when she hears another voice. "Oh, you're here. Thank heavens someone called you."

Chuck plays along, "Yeah, uh, what seems to be the problem?"

"I'm the curator of Classical Art. I've never even touched one of these machines in my life. All I know is the museum went into full lockdown mode. It's designed to protect the collections from fire, but unless you fix it, there's no way to control the temperature or-or the humidity. Some of these pieces are extremely sensitive."

Casey's voice comes through. "So am I, Chuck."

She joins in. "Chuck, I'm in the crawl space above the vault. There's no way of getting the hatch open. It's four inches of solid steel."

Casey grunts. "You can't blow the hatch. You'd have to use C4. I'm too close."

Sarah tells Chuck, "It's up to you, Chuck. You've got to get this door open."

The curator is still talking. "Some of these artefacts are over three thousand years old. To have survive that long and then to be ruined by some stupid computer system-"

Chuck interrupts him, "You know, if you don't mind, I could really use a little breathing room."

The curator replies, "Hmm."

Then Sarah hears another voice. A female voice. Hannah's. "That's right. Step aside. We are the professionals."

Chuck sounds almost as shocked as Sarah feels. "Hannah, what are you doing here?"

Hannah replies, "Surprise. I saw your Nerd Herder parked outside the museum. And you said that I could ride shotgun. So, what's the problem?"

Sarah tells him, "She can't know we're spies, Chuck. I think you need to get rid of her. Casey's got less than a minute."

Chuck says, "Have you ever restarted a server from the backup database?" That must have been to Hannah.

Hannah replies, "Oh, now you're just insulting me." God, he's keeping her there!

He replies, "Show me what you got."

Sarah decides to keep quiet and just let them work.

After a brief pause, Chuck speaks again. "Run the context script off server one."

Hannah says, "Validated. Next?"

Sarah hears Casey gasp out, "Dying."

"Come on, Chuck or I'll have to blow the hatch," Sarah advises.

Chuck just grunts and continues talking to Hannah. "I need you to reboot on the count of three. One, two..."

Hannah must have done it early because he doesn't get to three. After a couple of seconds, the hatch opens.

She vaguely hears Chuck cry out, "Oh, my God. We did it!"

She's helping Casey out of the hatch, when she hears Chuck say, "Not bad for your first mission." She wishes that he had used a different term, but he's right. Hannah has definitely helped.

The curator then says, "Splendid work, absolutely top notch. Really, I mean, I can't thank you enough."

She can almost feel Chuck humming. "Any time."

"Oh, all right. Um, how about tomorrow night?" Sarah hears the curator say. She now listening intently.

Chuck responds, "What?"

"Well, it's the unveiling of the Mask of Alexander. Everyone in the art world's going to be there, and I'd like you there also."

Chuck is probably trying to keep Hannah from agreeing. "I appreciate the invitation..."

The curator cuts him off, "Oh, no, no. I'm not inviting you. I'm hiring you. I want you there to ensure that, well, there's no more, uh, what do you call them? Bugs."

Sarah can immediately see a way forward, but before she can say "Take the job, Chuck", he is answering, "Deal."

Sarah is pleased with him, but then she hears something she doesn't want; Hannah saying, "I'll be there, too."

Sarah is sitting in Castle, worrying about Hannah getting involved.

Chuck places a coffee in front of her. "Double shot Americano. No cream, no sugar. The way you like it."

She smiles up at him. "Thanks, Chuck."

General Beckman's image appears in the large screen. "Team." They all look up. "It's unfortunate that Colonel Casey was unsuccessful. As I said before, this artefact and possibly others, are being used to smuggle items through Customs." A series of photos appear on the screen. "This was three months ago at the National Museum of Damascus. A team broke in, but didn't take anything."

"You think the Ring broke in just to hide something inside the mask?" Sarah asks.

Casey comments, "That's pretty smart. Traveling exhibitions don't have to go through normal screening."

The general continues, "We have to secure the mask before the Ring does. I understand our analyst has been asked to keep an eye on the servers." She looks at Chuck and says, "You'll be in the museum's control room in case we have any problems."

Looking at Casey and Sarah, Beckman says, "Colonel Casey and Agent Walker will pose as guests at the party. You'll have to break in and swap the mask with the reproduction, before the unveiling."

Chuck frowns. "What reproduction?"

Casey grunts. "The one that arrived while you were over at the Buy More with your new partner."

The general raises an eyebrow.

Sarah doesn't like the way Casey is steering the conversation, so answers, "The new Nerd Herd girl, Hannah. She helped at the museum and was also hired."

Beckman reacts instantly, snapping, "We can't have a civilian on a mission."

Chuck reacts just as fast. "We don't have a choice, General, she was hired by the curator directly. She will be there, whether we want her or not."

The general is not happy.

Sarah chips in, "It does change the plan, General."

Chuck then smiles. "I have a different plan. Agent Walker and I go as a couple…"

Casey snots. "Really?"

Both Sarah and Chuck glare at him.

The woman on the screen just says, "Continue."

"As I said, we go as a couple and we get to the mask and make the exchange." Chuck looks at Sarah. She nods.

"What will I be doing?" Casey growls.

Chuck turns to him. "Well, as Hannah will be looking after the servers and equipment, you'll be looking after her and the security."

Sarah smiles. It's a good idea.

The general nods. "We'll adopt that plan, but Colonel, you need to make sure that civilian stay ignorant of our activities."

Casey does not look happy.

Beckman ends the call.

Chuck obviously decides it's his turn to needle the NSA agent. "No second chances, Casey. If you'd taken the mask first time, we wouldn't have to do this."

Casey moves towards him growling, obviously wanting to hit him. Sarah steps in front of him. "You don't want to do that, Colonel."

She never calls Casey by his title and she hasn't given him such an icy glare for a long time. Both stop him. He grunts unhappily and storms off.

She turns to Chuck, who is grinning, pleased with himself. "That's was stupid, Chuck. You shouldn't get him mad at you. If I hadn't been here, your Intersect skills wouldn't have stopped him flattening you." She walks off, annoyed at both men.

"It was surprisingly easy to persuade the curator that only one of us would look after the servers, when I told him that Hannah sorted it all out." Chuck explains, as Sarah drives them to the event.

Sarah frowns. "Did she?"

Chuck coughs. "Well, technically I was guiding her, but yes."

"What did you tell him was the reason you weren't going to be with her?" She looks over at him.

"That my beautiful girlfriend was an avid Ancient Greek follower and that I would be attending with her."

She snorts. "As long as he didn't take that to mean I'm an Ancient Greek."

He laughs. "Sometimes I think your sense of humor is better than mine."

She grins at him. "Thanks."

"Do you think she'll be alright without Casey protecting her?" Chuck sounds nervous.

"He'll keep an eye on her from the van, like he will us."

They pull up to the museum.

As they walk into the building, holding hands, Sarah reminds Chuck of what they've been told. "The mask is in the vault. It opens at 8:00. Doesn't give us much time to make the swap."

She looks around the room and nods, pointing to one of the walls. "Over there, behind that door, is a staircase that leads up to the top of the vault. Keep an eye out on the security cameras up to your right and straight ahead."

Chuck looks to the right and Sarah sees him flash.

She tightens her grip on his hand. "Chuck, what is it?"

He leans close to kiss her neck, causing a shiver to run through her. He mutters, "The Ring agent who broke into the museum in Damascus, Vasillis, is here. Look over there."

She looks over and spots him with two men talking to him. "Looks like he isn't alone, either. They're casing the place. They're here to grab the mask. We better move right now."

Chuck grins. "We've got a mask to steal."

As they walk over to the door Sarah had pointed out, Casey's voice comes through to them. "Watch those security cameras. We have to assume the Ring has tapped into those, as well."

Chuck mutters, "Yeah, I'm, uh, one step ahead of you." He taps on the device he is looking at. "Sorry, Hannah."

Chuck opens the door and they both walk through.

Casey advises them, "The curator has just told Hannah she has five minutes until the grand unveiling to fix the systems."

Sarah feels for her friend. "Thanks, Casey."

She and Chuck have just reached the place they had been earlier that day, the space above the vault. "Okay, you're going to have to lower me into the vault by hand. Here." She hands him the bag of tools Casey had left for them. She pulls off her dress, leaving her in a black vest and shorts.

"Wow. I thought you looked good before."

She grins at him. "Thanks, Chuck." She pulls the gear up and tightens the belt.

Chuck looks through the hatch, while she clips the zip line to her belt. He starts lowering her down head first, with the replacement mask in hand.

They both hear Casey. "Vasillis sent his men to the vault. They must have the code. You've got company. Bartowski, you copy? Incoming."

Chuck replies, "My hands are kind of full here." Then he says, "Hi, there." Sarah guesses a Ring agent must be up there, but before she can say anything, she starts getting pulled up and passes Chuck who is on his way down with the other end of the line clipped to his belt.

She gets pulled through the hatch and wraps her legs around the Ring agent and overcomes him. She sees the zip line attached to the man and unclips hers and attaches it to the agent. "Hang on, Chuck, I got you," she calls.

A cable appears around her neck and she's pulled away, holding the cable to stop being strangled. She continues to struggle, still holding onto the cable.

Casey calls out, "Bartowski, I thought you took care of the vault, but your Buy More girl must be using your laptop. I'll deal with it remotely."

Sarah manages to walk up the wall and flip over to behind the man and kicks him into the wall. She picks up the fake mask and hits him with it.

Rushing to the hatch she calls out, "Chuck."

She looks down at Chuck clutching the real mask. "I got it," he calls.

She lifts the fake one and calls down to him, "Here, catch," and releases the fake.

Watching it drop, it seems almost in slow motion, then he catches it. He just manages to place it on the stand, when Casey growls, "She broke the connection."

Sarah pulls him up. When he is through the hatch, Sarah tells Casey, "We're clear."

"Closing the hatch," Casey replies.

Sarah wraps her arms around Chuck. "Well done, Lover." She kisses him hard.

Casey grumbles, "I don't need to hear this!"

Sarah and Casey are trying to find a way into the mask, both with scanners, but not finding any openings. She tells him, "Check the base."

He starts to do so.

She gets a call from Chuck. She says to Casey, "I'll take this outside."

Casey grunts. "You do that, I don't want to listen."

She steps into the corridor and takes the call. "Hi, Chuck. Missing me?"

Chuck's voice is raised, he sounds panicky and ignores her question, "Sarah, I need the mask now. Vasillis knows we took it and he wants it back. He grabbed Hannah. I'm coming down the tunnel."

She turns to go back and tell Casey, who has just managed to open the side of the base. She watches as a canister rolls out. He says, "That can't be good."

She tells Chuck, "Uh, Chuck, don't come down here. We think the mask is some kind of a..."

Gas pours out of the cannister making Casey cough. The doors to the room shut in front of Sarah, just as Chuck reaches her.

She is trying to see Casey through the fog, but hears Chuck say, "Cyclosarin. It's a poison."

Chuck rattles off the details he has obviously gotten from the Intersect. "It's a designer weapon developed for battlefield use, but th... there's a counteragent that can be taken up to 30 minutes after exposure."

Sarah turns to him. "Or what?"

His look tells her everything.

Chuck continues, "I'm gonna get the counteragent from Vasillis. He wouldn't have shipped the weapon without it. It's got to be back at the..."

Sarah grabs his hand and pulls him along. "We are going to get it, Chuck, not you," she snaps, glaring at him.

Chuck shakes his head. "But he said come alone."

They've now reached her car. "We'll work out how to do this as I drive." She gets in and he does the same.

"But, Sarah, we don't have the mask."

She smiles. "They sent us two fake masks, Chuck. Look in the bag by your feet."

He opens the bag. "So, let's say we're able to fool Vasillis with another fake mask and we save Hannah. That still doesn't solve the problem of how we convince him to give us the counteragent. What about Casey? Do we have enough time to save him, too?"

She is doubtful, but doesn't want to say that.

Then Chuck gasps. "What if we gas Vasillis? He'll need to bring out the counteragent then."

"That's a great plan, except the chemical weapon's already been deployed."

"Yeah, but Vasillis doesn't know that."

She pulls over and stops the car. "I got some smoke grenades in the trunk." Chuck looks questioningly at her. "What? Casey gave them to me."

She gets out and grabs the bag from the trunk. Getting back in, she hands it to Chuck.

While he loads the mask, she says, "You're right about who goes in. You're the one he expects. You know I'm going to be frantic worrying about you."

He stops handling the mask and places his hand on hers. "I know, Sarah, but I also know my kick-ass protector will save me."

She watches Chuck enter the building. "Keep him talking, Chuck, I need to know what's happening. I'll go to the space above the vault."

She's surprised to hear Casey's voice. "Poison's been contained. Room's cleared. Where are you?"

She replies, "Museum. Chuck's just gone in."

"I'll join you." She then hears the sound of shattering glass.

Then she hears another voice, probably from where Chuck is. "Stop there. Show me my mask."

Chuck replies with more confidence than Sarah expects. "Show me my Nerd Herder."

The man replies, "She's in the vault. Oh, look at the time. Air must be getting a little thin."

She tells Chuck, " If he doesn't open the door, I'm going to blow the vault although I can't promise she'll be okay."

Chuck says, obviously to the man rather than her, "I did what you asked and I brought the mask. Now let her out."

"If it were up to me, sure. She would walk free. But the people you've stolen from, the Ring, they're not so forgiving," is the reply.

Then Chuck says something that scares Sarah to death, "Do what you want to me, but the girl had nothing to do with this." No, no, no!

The man says, "You're in no position to make demands. You gave up any leverage you might've had when you walked in with the mask."

Chuck replies, "Not quite. I think we all know what's inside this mask. So, either you open that door and let her out or I release the gas."

"I don't believe you."

"Well, that's too bad. You should've." She hears a crash. She's now proud of Chuck.

The man gasps, "You've killed us all. You idiot!"

Chuck, clearly calm, says, "Well, there's a counteragent, right? Where is it?"

"It's in a vase."

Chuck sounds incredulous. "There's hundreds of them. Which one?"

The man is choking. "How am I supposed to know? I wasn't going to steal it personally."

More crashes. They're obviously smashing vases.

Chuck mutters, "One of these things is not like the others."

Sarah is now ready to blow the hatch. She looks at her watch. No time. She moves around the corner, outside from the blast radius. She hopes this won't hurt Hannah. "Times up, Chuck. I'm sorry."

Chuck instantly replies, "No, Sarah, wait! I found the counteragent. Meet me in the control room."

She breathes a sigh of relief. "We'll have to be quick, Chuck, she's nearly out of air."

Entering the control room, she finds the curator tied up. Chuck rushes in behind her and gives her a tube with the antidote. "How much time does Casey have left?"

Timing it perfectly, Casey staggers into the room. "Give me that." He grabs the tube, opens it and takes a swig.

Sarah pushes Chuck down into the seat, "You open the vault and we can get her out." Chuck turns to the terminal and starts typing.

Sarah is looking over his shoulder at the screen as he frantically attempts to shut the servers down. Then she watches a display showing the oxygen level in the vault as it counts down from 2% to 0%.

"Yes!" Chuck shouts and leaps up. They both rush out of the room towards the vault entrance.

They get to Hannah and Sarah kneels down and lifts her up, allowing Hannah's head to rest on her left arm. "Hey."

Hannah opens her eyes and blearily looks at Sarah. "What happened?"

Chuck replies rather than Sarah. "You passed out and it looks like you somehow got trapped in the vault."

Hannah looks at Chuck, obviously realizing he had opened the doors. "Oh, my God. I could've died in here. You saved my life, Chuck."

He blushes. "With Sarah's help."

Hannah looks at the woman cradling her. She grins and teases Sarah, "Don't make him jealous."

Sarah laughs and Chuck looks puzzled. Hannah then laughs too.

Standing in front of the screen showing General Beckman, Sarah grabs Chuck's hand. He looks down at it and then grins at her.

The general is obviously impressed with their achievement and ignores the lack of professionalism. "Nice work, team. You secured a rogue chemical weapon, as well as stopping Ring getting it."

She looked at Sarah and Chuck. "And I understand you kept the civilian from knowing anything. Well done."

They replied at the same time, "thank you, General."

As the call ended, Casey acknowledges their achievement as well. "Yes, Bartowski, you did good."

Chuck grins, "Aww, don't gush, Casey."

Sarah grabs her boyfriend's arm and steps between the two men as Casey growls. "Play nicely, boys. You don't want me angry."

Casey huffs and walks away.

She turns to Chuck, who is now just smiling at her. "Care to go home?"

She looks at him with fondness. "You know I find it hard to wear my spy mask now, because of you."

He grins at her, "Let's go home and I'll remove more than just your mask."

She grins back and pulls him towards the stairs.

A/N: So, a retelling of S3E7. This was the start of the really bad episodes, but here, Chuck and Hannah don't kiss and Daniel Shaw definitely doesn't win Sarah's affections, we just have happy Charah.

As always, let me know what you think in a review.
