Hey, guys. Time for another newsletter of Mancub's Den. What an interesting summer so far and what better way than to update about my status of myself and the fics I have so far. Without further delays, let's get started.

=====How I'm Doing=====

I'm still brainstorming on my Roger Rabbit and DC fanfics but I haven't uploaded any more chapters due to the Tokyo Olympic Games occupying my time plus I've been on vacay for a few days being away from my PC . I gotta say though that the Summer Games is good to watch although Simone Biles pulled out of the majority of the gymnastics events but it was understandable why she pulled herself out. I support her decision to take care of herself first and her mental health for it's more important than the level of the sport. But hey, they say that she's back in competition of the balance beam. I'm looking forward on seeing her tonight and the Track and Field events which are also fun to watch plus Skateboarding, Surfing and Swimming.

The Olympics are almost over but after they've ended on Sunday will I have some time to upload some chappys. So stay tuned for those. I got Season 2 of Beastars out of the way which is a good show so far. But I won't spoil it though. I recommend you guys watch the anime on Netflix or read the manga to get the glimpse of the story. Overall, I'm still doing good but like I mentioned earlier, the Tokyo Olympics kept me busy and in the next 6 months, the Beijing Winter Olympics will be on it's way. So I may be more busy binging on that too. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Now for my story statuses.

=======Story Status========

Rabbits At Law is still being brainstormed with the third episode being that Jessica and Roger Rabbit defend Cruella De Vil in a court case after being arrested for reckless driving and road rage. I'm still thinking on how to start off the chapter whether in the Rabbit's house or where the lawyers visit Cruella in jail. It'll all come down to me while I watch the Summer Games.
As for the Roger Rabbit Wacky Toons fic, I'm almost finished writing the Beach Blanket Bay short but I was occupied with the other story of RogerxJessica story being When Roger Met Jessica which I'm also planning the next chapter.

As for my DC stories, I'm still thinking of a good episode to write after the beach story arc in Captain Hurricane and the Superhero Girls. After watching some of the newer episodes will I get a good idea. As for my other DC works, they're on the back burner due to the other fics given attention. But at least they won't be canceled.

Now I may write some of my stories since the events of Tokyo 2020 are what I wish to see tonight are happening. So at least you won't wait on some of them. Maybe a one-shot story would be warm-up for me before I get to my current fics. Stay tuned.

Well, folks. Thanks a lot for supporting my fics and before I close this update, I would like to display some recommended stories for some Of you to read in my 5 picks.

1st: High School Dragon by ChaosMagicMan: My Little Pony

This fanfic is very cool with the story and scenario of the popular anime High School DXD with the setting, elements and characters of MLP. The story revolves around Spike receiving the power of the dragon after being killed for a while. Now he's introduced to the Main 6 with different powers fighting evil from here on out. It's a harem story by the way in which Spike will get to be with a lot of girls from the MLP universe. I suggest you guys give it read for yourselves.

2nd: Who Framed Roger Rabbit: The Aftermath by MollyMercury:

Like I mentioned in the past, Who Framed Roger Rabbit is one of my top favs of Disney movies of all time. I've been dying for a sequel as much as the next fellow fan. To scratch your itch for one, I recommend MollyMercury's fic where this story takes place after the film. It's all about the humans and toons facing the reality of coexistence behind the scenes in their lives. While Roger and Jessica move on from the Judge Doom situation, a new case is brewing and Eddie must find out what happened to the animation cels. So far, I'm enjoying this story where this could've been a great plot for a Roger Rabbit 2. I swear that this fic feels like I'm watching a sequel on Blu-ray. It's that good.

3rd: Luz Clawthorn: Hexside's Witch Delinquent by JP Rider: The Owl House

I hope I'm getting this title right but shout out to JP Rider for writing this story which is a unique take on Luz being adopted by a witch after her mother was killed in a car wreck. Luz growing up in the titular Owl House learns to be a witch doing magic while trying to live a life as a human in a world full of monsters, witches and demons. I watched the show and I got to say that it's pretty good so far. It's one Of Disney's best animated shows yet in my opinion. Oh and I've learned that Season 3 will be the final season of the show. Damn. Anyway, feel free to read JPRider's take on the show. It's an awesome read.

4th: Smash Life by Crashguy01: Super Smash Bros.

This is one of my favorite or rather #1 favorite fic in the Smash Bros. fandom to read. It's a reality show/documentary style setting where the characters of Smash interact and live in the Smash Mansion with their crazy antics. The fun fact is that this series is still going on strong with almost up to 300 chapters and a couple million words to boot. Now that's dedication in my book. I suggest you read Crashguy's fic for it's funny and hilarious. He usually uploads a chapter every Friday or Saturday. So pick any chapter of this story for it's a lot to get through.

5th: Super Life by BirdhouseProductions: DC Superhero Girls

This fanfic by Birdhouse is the reason and inspiration for my Captain Hurricane story. It's all about Birdhouse's character Jordan James moving to Metropolis meeting the Superhero Girls and juggling life as a hero and a student. There's plenty of character development for the characters especially the OC who has the powers of a cartoon character. As a bonus, feel free to read a story that he and yours truly collaborated on crossing over the universe of my Captain Hurricane and his Super Life universe called Double Identity: A Super Life Story. If you watched Teen Titans vs. Teen Titans Go movie, it's kind of like that. I hope I get to see more of the series soon but I'll be patient.

Sixth Man: Nigma Hotel by Monofiction245: DC Superhero Girls

The sixth man of the starting five goes to this fic by Monofiction. It's a unique story centered around the Supervillain Girls where they take a road trip and stumbled upon a mysterious hotel by a well-known Batman villain. Now the girls must work together to escape the hotel by playing a deadly and dangerous game in order to do so. So far, it's only six chapters long but pretty good to read. Hopefully, Mono can update us with another chapter or two down the line but in the meantime, it's enough chapters to hold you over.
