Hey, guys. This is an Important announcement regarding Roger Rabbit's Wacky Toons. Before I work on the 4th short of this series, I want to explain everything I'm going to do from chapters 4-7.
The short I'm going to do is called "There's A Hare In My Soup" which was in reality going to be Disney and Amblin's 4th Roger Rabbit theatrical short after Trail Mix-Up. In fact, there were 3 shorts In existence you can find on YouTube or Disney Plus. They were called Tummy Trouble, Rollercoaster Rabbit and Trail Mix-Up which coincide with the theatrical releases of Honey, I Blew Up The Kid, Dick Tracy and A Far Away Place respectively.
As for the unreleased short, There's A Hare In My Soup, it centers around Roger Rabbit taking up a Job as a waiter Of a fancy restaurant but in Roger's fashion, things go crazy with slapstick antics angering the fancy restaurant manager. The short was in middle of production but was pulled due to disagreements between Disney and Amblin which was a shame because not Only did they pull the plug on that short but scrapped the other 3 shorts after this one. They were called "Clean and Oppressed", "Beach Blanket Bay" and "Bronco Busting Bunny". That would've been awesome if Disney and Amblin kept on animating more of these shorts. The 4th short was going to be released with the film "Arachnophobia". Don't ask why they want to put that with a scary flick but I digress.
The point is that we never see more of Roger Rabbit's adventures onscreen ever since. Now I'm going on the record and say that I freakin' love Roger Rabbit. It was a masterpiece and the fact that everyone wanted a sequel or a TV series of the lovable rabbit was amazing. However, many ideas of a sequel were rejected and now it seems we may never get to see one until I noticed something that took my Interest.
I saw a page on Who Framed Roger Rabbit 2 on IMDB that had a release year of 2022. And not only did IMDB showed this speculation off a few months ago but a website called Pop Culture Times followed suit with their speculation and rumors of the film being released in February 18th of 2022. I was stunned but kept my expectations low but you may never know. It may happen and if it does, then I'll go fanboy mode in Super Saiyan Level 4 or SSJ level. XD
Anyway, the point is that I love the Roger Rabbit franchise and I want to do some justice by writing these shorts that were unreleased and scrapped. I'll do my very best to try and capture what would've been the final products years ago. So I hope you guys can bear with my versions of these shorts. Here are the following in order of chapter that I'm going to work on them.
Chapter 4: There's A Hare In My Soup
Chapter 5: Beach Blanket Bay
Chapter 6: Clean and Oppressed
Chapter 7: Bronco Busting Bunny
