Megumin didn't know what exactly to expect when Kazuma said when he was going to get changed into his pajamas,but she sure as hell didn't expect him to come out casually wearing lingerie or how Aqua and Darkness didn't seem to mind at all.When she tried questioning them Aqua just said

"Yeah this is pretty standard for Mummy"

Darkness then followed with

"Yes as you can see Maman can dress quite...odd"

Megumin desperately got the thought of Kazuma now being 20 times more sexier to her and focused on the bigger problem at hand,she had no pajamas nor a toothbrush,she probably could ask Kazuma if he had a spare,but with the way he was dressed Megumin probably couldn't look him in the eye without getting a nosebleed.And so not wanting to look like a fool she ended up asking Aqua if she had some spares instead...Aqua came back a few moments later with an Angery Birds t-shirt and this honestly just gave Megumin the courage she needed to just go ask Kazuma

"Hey...Kazuma?"

Megumin asked in a small voice

Kazuma turned around from his conversation with Darkness and as if reading her mind went

"Oh right you probably dont have a toothbrush or pajamas right? hold on I'll go fetch you something"

"O-Oh okay thanks"

Kazuma came back a few moments later with a extra large anime t-shirt and a red toothbrush before handing both to Megumin. Though as grateful as she was for it she couldn't help ,but wonder why Kazuma had a giant anime t-shirt in the first place and asked...Kazuma responded with

"Oh yeah Darkness wanted to get me an anime t shirt for Mother's day,but accidentally put the wrong sizes"

Darkness then turning red yelled out

"MAMAN I THOUGH WE PROMISED TO KEEP THAT A SECRET!!!!!!"

"Well then young lady maybe someone should've double checked the size instead of rushing it so they can go back to watching por-"

"QUIET MAMAN!!!!!...I mean uh why dont you and Megumin play that street fighter game you like so much?"

Kazuma mearly gave out a small laugh before casually turning on the ps4 before handing Megumin the controller and saying

"Good luck"

Megumin replied back with a cocky smile and said

"Thanks,but I the great Megumin need no luck since my skills shall naturally lead me to victory!"

...Megumin was getting demolished.It wasn't even a fair fight.Maybe it was the fact that Megumin's only experience in Street Fighter was a old arcade machine of Street Fighter II that she had to scavenge quarters to play that and Kazuma reveals that he has actually gone to some small tournaments before. Either way Megumin was getting her shit kicked in as Ryu vs Kazuma's Akuma and it was humiliating each and everytime and no it didn't help that Kazuma fished for Raging demons like a mother fucker and that Aqua and Darkness would only cheer for their Mother

Evantually after an even more humiliating loss than usual including lots of teabagging Megumin spiked the controller before yelling that Street Fighter is bullshit. Kazuma laughed at this for a solid minute before just bluntly saying that it's probably time for bed.This instantly cheered Megumin up since she managed to get Kazuma to agree early to share his bed together and so she happily skipped into his room after brushing her teeth and waited...and waited...and waited.

Finally Kazuma came back apologizing saying that Aqua was particularly ferocious tonight wanting him both to sing a lullaby to Emperor Zell her pet chicken and read a bedtime story to her until she fell asleep. Megumin says it's fine and can feel her heart pounding as she sees Kazuma slide into bed with her especially with how much skin is showing.

What she didn't expect next though was after Kazuma killed the lights in the room he turned on a lamp that was near him and started reading.When Megumin asked about this Kazuma blunty said

"Oh yeah I like to read before I sleep sorry"

Megumin sat in silence before asking

"What kinda book?"

"Oh Im actually reading a nonfiction book about human history it's quite interesting really if you can look past some of the more boring things they teach in school"

Megumin then remembered something she wanted to ask

"Oh by the way Kazuma...do you go to school? I've never seen you with any kind of school work really and you always seem to be working at the library most days"

Kazuma stared blankly for a few seconds before saying

"Im a dropout"

and leaving it at that

A few minutes had passed and Megumin had now goaded Kazuma into reading outloud tk her and she was now getting a pretty in depth history of the Roman Empire...that is she started hearing moaning coming from one of the rooms.When she looked back up at Kazuma she saw that he had taken off his glasses and was now rubbing his temples in annoyance before apologizing to Megumin and leaving the room. Megumin then heard the following interaction between Kazuma and Darkness

"LALATINA STOP FUCKING MOANING SO LOUDLY AT NIGHT!!! WE A GUEST OVER AND IT'S MY DATE FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!"

Megumin then heard Darkness shuffling im her room definitely knocking a few things over before she answers the door saying out of breath

"Huff... Maman...I though we agreed.puff...on not calling me Lalatina?"

"Yeah and I thought we had a deal with the whole masturbation issue.. you're going to therapy next weekend"

"NOOOO MAMAN I PROMISE I'LL STOP!!!!!"

"Yeah like the last 20 times?"

"...God you kept track?

"Yes I did now goodnight "

Kazuma then came back to the room noticeably more tired and said to Megumin

"Sorry I think it's time we wrap things up and go to bed"

"But Im not tired"

Kazuma let out a tired sigh and muttered something insulting japanese before saying

"Ugh Good grief look do you want a lullaby or something?"

"...a lullaby?"

"Yeah Aqua says Im pretty good at them...which is why she makes me do them every damn night"

Megumin then thought about it for a moment before saying

"Sure...but add in some cuddles as well Cutie K 3"

"Fine get comfy now"

Megumin now had her arms wrapped around Kazuma in bed and before he started with his lullaby he asked Megumin if she had any particular request she said his choice and without further delay Kazuma began

"..So sudden came our love...destiny brought it to us... it left a good scent in the air that night...it was a passionate love...the air just took over us... leaving a sweet scent in the air that night...a world made for...two"

Megumin could definitely feel herself getting sleepy as she let Kazuma's angelic voice and body heat lull her to sleep more as Kazuma continued

"When you held me inside your arms..the scent of our love..filled up the room..'cause it surrounds you...so you said wherever you go no matter how far...I will find you..I just need follow..follloww the scent of your love"

As Kazuma sung those finally words Megumin felt herself drifting off to sleep for the best night of sleep she had i a good while.Kazuma himself however decided to give Megumin one last thing and gave her a peck on the cheek before saying

"Sleep well Cheshire"

before falling asleep himself.
