Hello to my readers,

I thank you for your continued interest in Banns and Choices. I enjoyed writing them, and am as vexed as some of you that they went dormant. I don't write professionally and started both on a whim, without the foresight or planning required to see them through. Crafting these stories consums a lot of time that caring for my children demand.

On Choices: I modeled Jasmine, Hermione's two year old daughter after my own. I received a very flattering review with an aside that a two year old should be more fluent than I portrayed Jasmine. I had my girl checked out as a result of that review, and I should thank that reviewer. My Libby has a developmental delay. Today Libby attends a wonderful special needs preschool program with typical peers and her language has progressed wonderfully. She is full of sass and vinegar and is a complete princess and she knows it. She is so profoundly strong. I can't emphasize that enough. She has me bewitched and I love her to pieces. However, at the time of writing Choices and upon hearing the news I became depressed for awhile and it had the very real result of killing that story. Should I ever pick that thread up again I will stay true to the character, and my own daughter by portraying her just as I have.

On Banns: I lost the focus of that story because of the sheer size and many sub plots. I did a lot of cussing for writing myself into a corner. I've spent the last two years hashing everything out in my head and have finally developed a road map and a story arc that satisfies. I am resuming the story immediately.
