Chapter 1 : Character Creation
She found herself in the middle of a digital space. The space only shows her the icon for the [Mythical Legion Online] game.
She clicks on it and finds her vision zooming in to something else. Now her surroundings changes. Instead of the virtual space, it is now a wide expansive space.
"This is amazing!~"
As she exclaims like that, a floating panel appears in front of her vision. On this floating panel, she can see an option.
[Server Selection]
[Create Server]
"Of course I am going to pick the Server Selection!"
She have already made a plan. After hacking the game, she is going to enter the server of her friends and play with them. She have prepared a lot of things, planned for her build, and is prepared to enjoy the game to the fullest.
When she selected the [Server Selection] option though, she is surprised to see nothing in it.
"What!?" She widened her eyes. "This is impossible!"
She quickly checks her connectivity and see that it is functioning.
'Of course it is! I won't be able to open the game if I am not connected to the internet!'
After berating herself, she started thinking about things.
'Wait... if I can't find any servers, does that mean...!?'
Her face paled at the thought.
'I messed up!'
She felt depressed. Seeing that the Servers are not appearing despite being connected to the internet is already a sign that she messed up.
Her excitement awhile ago dims as she looks at the other option. Her face have a frown in it as she picks it.
She is surprised to see that it is functioning. She thought [Create Server] won't function just like the [Server Selection] option.
'Maybe I still have a chance?'
She looks at the new options that occur. It is just asking her if she wanted to customized her server or randomized it.
Of course, she decided to pick the randomized option.
After picking it, another set of floating panels occured in front of her.
It is time for her to create her own avatar for the game.
"Well. It said that, but I am really satisfied with my own build."
With a shrug, she quickly chose for it to scan her real body.
Real body scanning is a default mechanic for any VR Technology. Using three types of scanning, it can accurately recreate their body all the way to their appearance.
Most people used that, though they make sure to edit their face or sometimes, their build to make them look stronger or beautiful.
As for her case, she is not really bothered by her own body. In fact, she felt more at ease if she is using her own body.
Being someone who have spent her life mostly playing games, with most of it being VR Games, she didn't want to change her body or she might miss some timings that is essential to competitive VR Gamers like her.
After taking a scan to her body, it then gave her a prompt asking her for her starting gear. There are swords, spears, shields, consumables, and many more. She can only pick up to 5 starter items.
"Then. I'll pick this, this, and this!"
She took the Practice Sword, Basic Knife, Food Rations, Water Pouch, and Basic Adventurer Clothing.
With that, she clicks the confirmation button.
After clicking that, another prompt appears in her vision. It's a prompt asking about her name, and also the name of her server.
"Of course I already have one!"
She typed out her name on the virtual keyboard that appeared along with the prompt.
The name that she picks up is Misha_Cat. It's a slight play in her real life name.
The server name was put as the standard one, which is going to follow the name of the one who created it. In this case, it will be called as Misha_Cat's Server.
Finally, she is prompted whether all of this is acceptable and she picks the OK button.
"It's time to start the game!~"
The whole surroundings shined bright and her surroundings changes. She found herself in the middle of the forest.
"Now then. Where should I start?"
Her eyes shined in excitement as she quickly started walking.
