Hi there! I'm autismmom31910. Strange name, right? There is a reason behind it. My middle child, a boy, has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder... and his older brother is borderline Asperger's. I thank God that he is only mildly autistic and his school environment has helped him so much. Anyway, I love all three of my children, but my middle one is so sweet and so loving. He tries to do the right thing... but sometimes he gets into trouble for not asking first, or not waiting for directions. etc. He always means well, and in that way he reminds me of Gilligan. In fact, my nickname for him is my "Little Buddy". So by now I'm sure you've guessed that I write stories for Gilligan's Island. I love to ship! My favorite ship is MAG. My mind just loves the idea of Mary Ann and Gilligan being together. I will read MAP, and I've read some MAPs that I like... I won't write them, I just can't force my brain to work that way. I also like Pinger, but I'm not exclusive on that. I kinda like Skipper/Ginger, since it always seemed that the big fella had a major crush on her.

I also love the Monkees. I do like shippy stories about them once in awhile. I like to ship Mike and Peter with, of course, original characters... since there was no shippings on that show. I like to read Monkee shipping stories, but I also love fun, adventurous, and mad capped shenanigans, that follow more of an episode feel. Mike is my absolute favorite Monkee. I love him to pieces.

I have only one Big Bang Theory so far, and it's a one shot. I'm hoping to write more stories for that fandom sometime in the future. I ship Lenny, Shamy, Howdette... and I will point out right now that I don't like Emily. I think Raj belongs with Lucy. I thought she was cute and more his type. I love the character Stewart and would love someday to turn him into someone who's a little bit more confident and a little more loved.

Now, with all that being said, I am currently working on one Andy Griffith Show fic. Of course, pairings there are Andy/Helen and Barney/Thelma Lou. However, this first story features Gomer Pyle.

By now you may have guessed that I love to write about the secondary characters. It seems that most fandoms are filled with stories about the main characters... but what about those other characters that make up part of the show's chemistry. This is exactly why I have three stories that feature the Skipper as the main character, why I have a story about Gomer, and why I have a story where Mike gets the girl instead of Davy.

I also am a Christian. That doesn't mean a few of my stories don't contain a little bit of sex or mild foul language... it's just you won't see my stories rated higher than a T. I do tend to talk about miracles and God's timing and people praying and things such as commitment to others. I'm not out to shove my religion down anyone's throat, I just take the principles I live by and sprinkle them into my stories.
