"Again!" May commanded from the sidelines. Groaning, Karley accepted her sisters offered hand from above her, getting back onto her feet. As the two sisters got a little distance, they each took their fighting stance.

Daisy was the first one to strike, as she always was, and Karley had barely managed to dodge the punch coming towards her stomach. As she blocked that punch, however, a jab came directly at her face as time slowed down just the smallest bit.

Over the last two months Karley had been training and practicing using her powers with the team, everyone having offered to help. It's been a very busy few months for the younger sister, not so much for the team.

After Rumlow and his teleporting Inhuman, whose name she learned was Blake, had left her that night in her cell, she's been trapped inside her mind since then. She couldn't do anything except what they told her to do, and they were very careful with their instructions. So for the past two months Karley had been their spy on the inside, rerouting data when the Avengers were getting close to a lead, warning the Red Dawn where not to go, she even started disabling the cameras when Rumlow and Blake stopped by every week.

The two men took it upon themselves to stop by every Sunday to give Karley her does of medicine, which she couldn't refuse. After the first few doses, she noticed that they started to bring a different version of it, a more potent one. Then she would debrief them on her findings and they would leave, not wanting to get caught. Which for them was pretty easy when they had a teleporting Inhuman on their side.

Since the Avengers hadn't had any leads for the last two months, they decided to use their time wisely, by training together. Which Karley had to admit, they were getting better at.

Peter would stop by in the morning before his college classes started to talk to Karley about biophysics, which is where a lot of her powers came from. So he would take the time to explain the science behind her powers, as much as he could at least, and the two of them would work on the schematics for her new suit. They had pretty much finished the design, but Peter wanted it to be perfect, so he was going to stop by this weekend so the two of them could go over everything before presenting it to Tony, who would ultimately grade. He said it was a science project for the two of them, in a way.

Even Fitz had hopped in on the project with Peter and Karley occasionally giving them suggestions on some engineering portions they needed help with.

Her thoughts quickly turned to Lyla, who had left a month ago to go back to college, explaining that she couldn't just drop her life to be a superhero. Karley and the blond agreed that they'd be friends still, but the taller girl understood her girlfriends choice. This life wasn't for everyone.

After Lyla had left for Pennsylvania, Karley joined her for a few days to check in with her parents. Daisy offered to come as well, but the younger sister said that this was something she needed to do alone. When she finally arrived on her parents doorstep, duffle bag in hand, her short hair pulled back, her father was the first one to see her. Then her mother wouldn't stop coddling her the entire stay she was home.

Neither of her parents were elated that their daughter was going back to Avengers Tower, but they couldn't deny that they were proud. Just like they had been when she joined the military.

When Karley wasn't doing her work for the Red Dawn or training or designing her suit with Pete, she would usually be lounging in Wanda's room watching movies with the girl. Vision had left for an undercover mission to try and get the team a lead, and he went alone because he was the only one who could change his form. Of course, Karley had warned the Red Dawn that he was coming, but they wouldn't kill the man unless they wanted to blow her cover, so she took slight comfort in that.

It's not like she could do anything, even if she wanted.

Peter would join the girls on the weekend and they'd have sleepovers in Wanda's room, stealing all the junk food from the kitchen and building a pillow fort to watch scary movies. One night, Daisy had walked in looking for her sister, opening the door as the three people who were on edge already from the movie turned at the sound and screamed like the bunch of children they were.

"I'm a little insulted I wasn't invited," Daisy said, putting her hands on her hips.

"Yea me too!" The Scottish accent of Fitz shouted from behind Daisy.

"There's plenty of room," Peter offered, scooching over to make room for the two who happily jumped in the forts. And so it became a tradition for the five of them, others occasionally stopping by to join in.

Daisy, for her part had been quite busy training with her sister and the team in the mornings. After training she was busy planning FitzSimmons wedding, which she was determined to make perfect. Neither one of them wanted a big wedding, but as soon as Pepper caught wind of their small plans, she literally refused to let them have something so small.

"You only get married once!" She explained to the duo, hopping on the planning train with Daisy. The two of them were quite the force to be reckoned with when it came to wedding planning.

When she wasn't planning for the wedding or training or looking for leads, her and Natasha would sneak out of the tower and go on dates. Everyone knew that the two of them were officially dating, but they snuck out after they had been followed to their first date.

The two of them were sitting in Tony's car at the drive ins, Natasha on top of Daisy's lap in the passenger seat, when the redhead's sharp senses caught a glimpse of a very familiar banged up 2007 Pontiac G6. One that she knew belonged to Peter.

"Hey Speedy," she whispered to the girl, slowly pulling away from their kissing. "We're being watched," she laughed, pointing to the car. As she pointed them out, Daisy could see her sister and Peter trying to slide low into their seats, but they knew they were already spotted as Peter started his car up a swiftly left.

"Oh my God, if this is what having a little sister is like, someone please take her back," Daisy groaned in embarrassment.

Ever since then, the two spies had taken to sneaking out of the tower to avoid detection, which they were quite good at.

Snapping back into reality, Daisy watched as she jabbed towards her sisters face, the younger siblings eyes lit up just the slightest blue, easily dodging her fist.

"Hey you cheater!" Daisy accused, dropping to the ground and quickly swiping her sisters leg out from under her to teach her a lesson. "We agreed no powers."

Karley groaned again, rolling onto her side as she collected herself. She had to admit, her sister was quite the fighter.

"You know I can't help it," she said, pushing herself up to her feet as the two of them left the mats to join May on the bench.

"Even with the help of your powers I can still kick your ass," Daisy joked, hitting her sisters arm as they drank some much needed water. They had been sparring since four in the morning, May having gone over some moves with the younger sister.

May offered to take Karley on as an SO when it came to fighting, which the younger girl gratefully accepted. The first day was rough, having gotten her ass kicked by her older sister. May's leg wasn't quite recovered yet, so she had used Daisy and Natasha when it came to fighting, opting to instead coach the girl from the sidelines. In the last two months, Karley had made a decent amount of progress, even managing to pin her sister once.

"Okay I admit you're a better fighter," Karley laughed, pushing her slightly longer hair out of her face. She had decided that since she wasn't in the Marines anymore she wanted to grow it out a bit, and over the last two months it had grown a few inches past her shoulders. "But," she added on quickly, seeing the victory dance her sister was doing. "My powers are way cooler."

"Oh as if! You can't cause an earthquake," Daisy argued. "And I don't need to collect my power, I can use it whenever I want."

"Yea but you can't teleport, now can you sis?" Karley argued back, standing up as they made their way back to the mat.

May smiled from where she stood. The two of them had grown much closer recently, and it was nice to see Daisy so happy again. Though she supposed that also had a lot to do with a certain redhead too.

"Okay you can only do that if you have an absurd amount of energy," Daisy weakly protested. "I can literally shoot myself into the sky. It's practically flying."

The sisters put their hands up and began circling each other.

"That thing you do is not flying. That's falling with style at best, which Buzz Lightyear does better anyways." Daisy scoffed at the insult, moving in and throwing a punch which was easily blocked.

"Well I least I didn't -" Daisy didn't even get to finish as her younger sister jumped on the girl, swinging her impossibly long legs and shifting their body weights, sending the older sister flying onto the mat. Karley easily locked her in an armbar, which was her go to move.

"You were saying?" Karley laughed, watching as her sister tapped out. "I WON!"

The younger sister jumped off victoriously and ran over to May in excitement, sweeping the much shorter woman up in a hug and spinning them around before setting her down again, doing a victory lap around the mat. Daisy watched in amusement as her younger sister ran up to her.

"Alright, okay you pinned me once, don't let it go to your head," she jested, moving to take her gloves off for the day.

"You're learning quick little one," Natasha said from the doorway with a smile.

Daisy should've known that her girlfriend taught her little sister that move. After all, the redhead used it on her months ago when they sparred.

"Hey, you're supposed to be on my side," Daisy pouted, shooting her girlfriend a look. Natasha gave Karley a high five as she walked over to help the older sister unwrap her hands.

"I'm always on your side, but that ultimately means I'm on your little sisters side too," she defended herself. "Besides, you have to admit that she executed that move perfectly."

Daisy sighed, knowing that the redhead was right. She could see behind where May was helping unwrap her sisters hands, going over what she did right and wrong. Daisy smiled at how excited and happy her sister looked.

"Yea, it was pretty badass," she admitted, stretching her aching fingers once they were free from the wrappings. She leaned in to give Nat a kiss, but the redhead put a hand up between the two.

"Not until you shower," she warned, almost relenting at the look her girlfriend gave her. "What, I'm all dressed and ready for the meeting, which you and Karley need to go get ready for as well," she told the inhuman, standing up and walking to the doorway and out of sight.

"Let's go Daisy, we're going to be late!" Karley called over her shoulder, already in the doorway.

Thirty minutes later found the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents gathered in the council room, their annual meeting with Senator Ross taking place. No one was in a good mood as the man walked in, slapping a book onto the table in front of Tony and Steve.

"What's this?" Tony gestured to the thick stack of papers in front of him.

"This, Mr. Stark, is the consequences of your teams actions in Civil War. There are 22 countries calling for your arrest, and even more still deciding. Do you know the problems you're causing for America?" He asked, hands shaking with anger. "I mean, you let Wanda on missions again, took in wanted S.H.I.E.L.D. criminals, especially Ms. Johnson over there and even worse, her murderous sister as well."

Steve stood up from his chair.

"You better watch you tone, Senator. Wanda has a control on her powers now, and those S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents saved the world but no one knows it, and they were exonerated months ago. Daisy was proven innocent in the shooting of that General," he challenged the man in a pretty suit who had caused the Civil War in the first place. Ross backed away from the Captain a bit, realizing that he was in the enemies territory.

"Well the states can't just ignore the fact that you're still harboring Ms. Danvers, an unregistered Inhuman who hasn't answered for her crimes. That and the rest of you still haven't signed the Sokovia Accords," he continued, presenting the team with the issues the states are having. "Not to mention that you broke your friends out of the Raft, Ms. Romanoff. These are all crimes that America won't just ignore." He turned to Stark, looking him dead in the eye. "You have one week until court. If I were you, I'd start talking to your lawyers now."

"Oh don't worry, we don't need a lawyer," Tony replied, shooting the man a smile.

"Don't leave town," Ross warned to the team, exiting the room with a smirk.

"What an asshole," Daisy started, eyes burning a hole in the man as he made his way to the elevator.

"But he's not wrong," Karley spoke up, sitting straighter in her chair. "I work for the Red Dawn, a known terrorist organization. The press had videos and picture evidence of me publicly working with them."

"You worked with them, little Johnson, there's a difference," Tony said, picking the stack of papers up and skimming over it. Karley didn't correct the billionaire that she was the one who was actually right, as much as she wanted to.

"Honey give me that," Pepper took the papers from her boyfriend, knowing he was going to miss everything important as she did a scan of the papers.

"How bad is it?" Natasha asked, knowing that she was in a lot of trouble for her part in the Civil War.

"Well," Pepper dragged the word out. "It's not good. First of all, they're demanding that the rest of the Avengers sign the Accords by the end of the week. They're also demanding that Daisy and Karley go on the public powered index. Natasha will be tried in court for the prison break she staged in the Raft, and all the prisoners as well unless you sign the Accords. And lastly, they're requiring Karley to go on trial for her actions with the Red Dawn."

Karley stared at her hands, knowing that this day was coming. She was surprised that she got away with it for this long.

"Well they can't hold you accountable for your actions, we'll show them the drug that the Red Dawn used to control you," Steve stated, knowing that it was a solid argument.

"Don't worry little Johnson, I've got the best lawyers out there," Tony explained to her, leaving the room to call them.

"Alright team, let's call it an early day, training for later is cancelled until we sort this mess out," Steve said, leaving the room. Slowly everyone started leaving as well, Karley heading for her sisters room.

"Hey, there's no need to be worried," Daisy said, catching up to her little sister. "I mean, it's not like they're going to throw you in prison, and even if they did I'd stage a prison break, don't worry. Besides, orange is not your color," she joked, trying to break the tension. She was surprised to see her sister laugh, having not expected the reaction.

"I know you would sis. I'm not worried about the trial, I've come to accept that it wasn't my actions," Karley explained, opening the door to their shared room. "It's just the fact that I'll have to face the families."

Daisy didn't know what to say to that, knowing that her sister was most likely right. The prosecution would use the families of the dead or captured inhumans against her sister in court.

"Well I'll be right there with you," she promised as the two sat down on the couch. "Wherever you go, I go."

"Hmm," Karley hummed in thought before laying back, stretching. "You said that you met our mother, right?"

The question was out of the blue, catching Daisy off guard.

"Yea, I met her. She's actually the one who taught me I don't need to be afraid of my powers," Daisy told her younger sister, whos attention she now had.

"Well what was she like?"

Daisy smiled, knowing that her sister was going to ask someday about their mother.

"Well you better get comfy, because this is quite the story."

Natasha was sitting in her room, having seen Daisy and Karley go back to the older siblings room, playing candy crush on her phone.

Of course Stark had gotten her addicted to the game.

She knew that she was going to have to face the Senate for her crimes eventually, and she was surprised it had taken all these months for them to finally confront the Avengers about it. She wasn't worried though. Natasha has faced the Senate once and she would do it again.

Suddenly a text popped up on her screen from an unknown number. Shrugging, she opened the message to find a single picture attached, making her heart stop.

It was a picture of her and Yelena when they were children. No one had these pictures, not a single soul even knew about her sister except for Daisy.

'Who is this.' Natasha quickly shot the text back, sitting up in bed, heart racing.

'I need you in Budapest. Now.' The unknown number answered.

This was probably a trap, Natasha quickly determined. But she couldn't just ignore the picture. Only Yelena would have access to it.

'How do I know this isn't a trap?'

'You don't.'

Natasha clenched her teeth in anger. She knew this had to be a trap, but she couldn't just ignore it. Not if there was a chance it actually was her sister.

Jumping up from her bed, she snatched her go bag from her closet. It had everything she would need. Cash, fake ID's, clothes. Then she made her way to Daisy's room, knowing she couldn't just leave without giving her girlfriend an explanation. Knocking gently, the redhead waited for the door to open.

"Hey Nat," Daisy greeted, pulling her girlfriend into the room. "Karley just left to hang out with Wanda, so it's just you and me. I was thinking I could cook for you tonight and we could watch that movie you've been dying to see for awhile now."

"Hey Speedy, that all sounds great, but um," Natasha trailed off, not knowing how to go about this. Any other time, she would've been gone by now, but she cared for Daisy more than she thought she would. This is the closest she's gotten to someone in her whole life.

Daisy, finally stopping her rambling noticed the bag in her girlfriends hand and the grim expression on her face. It didn't take a genius to figure out what was going on as she walked over to the redhead, grabbing her hands in her own.

"What is it?" She asked, pressing her forehead to the shorter woman's.

"I have to go finish some business from my past. I won't be long, maybe a week or two."

"I can come with you, let me help Nat," Daisy pleaded, already knowing what the answer would be.

"No, I am not bringing you into this. It's going to be dangerous, and I can't risk bringing you with me. I won't, it's out of the question," Natasha said firmly, letting the brunette know that it wasn't a discussion. The hurt that flashed across Daisy's face was enough to break the redheads heart, but she knew this was for the best.

"You can't just do this Natasha," Daisy said, pulling her hands out of the redheads as her worry started turning into anger. "You can't just make decisions for the both of us, this is a relationship for a reason."

"I know Daisy, but this is too risky, where I'm going and what I'm doing. I'm not dragging you into my past," Natasha argued back, knowing it was in the brunettes best interest.

"Well what about my say in this? I want to come with you. I'm a trained spy and an Inhuman, Nat. I'm not helpless."

Natasha sighed, knowing that her girlfriend had a point. She wasn't going to cave though, no matter how much she would love to have Daisy by her side. She didn't want to argue about this though.

"I know, but this is something I have to do by myself," she whispered, grabbing Daisy's hands once more. "I'll be fine, Daisy. I'll be back before you know it, okay?"

Daisy knew that Natasha wasn't going to cave, not on this. So she hugged the redhead tight to her chest, a tear slipping out of her eye as she quickly wiped it away.

"You better come back to me Natasha," she demanded, the two pulling apart painfully, knowing that this was goodbye. "If I don't hear from you in a week, I'm coming after you, okay?"

Natasha smiled, knowing that her girlfriend wasn't kidding as she pulled the younger girl in for a kiss. They stood there, holding each other for another few minutes before Natasha knew it was time to go.

"See you in a minute," she whispered, placing one last kiss on Daisy's forehead before walking to the garage.

She had a long week ahead of her.

"Hey Karley," Daisy called to her sister from Wanda's doorway. Seeing that the two woman were cuddled together and asleep, Daisy tip toed over before gently shaking her sister awake.

"Mmm, Steve said that training was cancelled, let me sleep," Karley mumbled, gripping Wanda tighter. Daisy shook her sister again gently.

"It's four in the morning, you've been sleeping all night. Besides I need your help with something then you can go back asleep."

"I'm sleeping right now."

"I'll make you pancakes?" Daisy offered, hoping it was enough to wake the sleeping girl. She smiled as her sister groaned softly before untangling herself from Wanda as to not wake her, standing up and rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.

"They better be chocolate chip."

"So let me get this straight. Natasha left to go on some secret mission which she told you nothing about, but she specifically told you not to come with her?" Karley asked between mouthfuls of pancakes.

"Yup, pretty much."

"Even though we're on house arrest since Ross told us not to leave?"

"Yup."

"And you have no idea where she went?"

"Not a clue."

"Which is why you need your amazing little sister to teleport you to your crazy girlfriend?"

"That about sums it up," Daisy said, sliding another plate of pancakes to her sister. She took them while shooting the older sister a look.

"Dandy. Your girlfriend is going to hate me if we do this," Karley stated, digging into the second pile of food.

"She could never hate you, she literally adores you. Sometimes I think she likes you more than me," Daisy mumbled the last part.

"Oh I know, I'm totally loveable," her sister shot her a grin. "But there's one little problem with your plan - where am I going to get enough energy to teleport to God knows where your girlfriend is, and back here? Vision is gone."

Daisy simply grinned, having already thought this plan through.

"Follow me sis."

Karley laughed when she saw what Daisy had planned, looking up at where they were standing.

"Tony is going to be so pissed," she told the older sister.

"He'll get over it. Besides, you're loveable, he could never stay mad at you."

"He might after this," Karley said, looking at the rows upon rows of iron man suits, old and new. They were all charged to the max, but they wouldn't be for long. "You sure you're ready to do this?"

"As ready as I'll ever be. Let's go."

Closing her eyes, Karley entered into the astral plane. Walking through all the rows of suits was like walking down the isle at the grocery store, swiping everything into her cart. She kept collecting energy even after she had enough to teleport a few times, knowing that the suits were going to sit here and recharge anyways.

Jumping back to the material plane she saw her sister ready with a backpack slung over her shoulders, dressed in jeans, boots and a leather jacket. Wait, that was her leather jacket.

"You totally stole my jacket!" Karley punched her sister who was wearing her favorite black leather jacket. She couldn't even be mad, it looked good.

"Oh hush, I'll bring it back in one piece, don't you worry."

"Alright sis, hang on because teleporting is one trippy ride. We both need to focus on our connection to Natasha and it she make it easier for me. Ready?" Daisy simply nodded, joining hands with her sister who readily got to work.

Before she knew it, blue energy was surrounding the sisters entire body until they weren't standing anymore, instead if felt as if they were floating. Opening her eyes Daisy could only see darkness everywhere around them. She couldn't tell if they were moving or not, but it seemed as if they were going Mach twenty. Then, everything became brighter as they were spit out of the portal.

When the sisters left it was still five in the morning, the sun not having risen yet. Where they landed, however, it was easy to tell that it was at least noon, the heat blasting the two. They were standing on a rooftop to some building when suddenly they could hear gunshots from below them.

Before they could even comprehend what was happening two woman jumped out of the window beside them.

The sisters could clearly see that one of them was Natasha, who looking panicked as she took off running, stopping for a moment in utter confusion when she saw Karley and Daisy.

The other woman was a bit shorter than the redhead with bright blond hair, breathing heavily and clutching her bleeding arm as she raised her gun to the woman in front of her. Before she could pull the trigger though, Natasha grabbed her hand, pushing her arm so the bullet fired an inch from hitting Daisy.

"What are you doing!" The blond yelled to Natasha.

"No time to explain, they're friends," she quickly shouted, pushing her sister forwards before looking to Karley and Daisy. "We need to talk, but right now we need to run!"

The sisters didn't question it as they followed behind Natasha and the blond girl, sliding down part of a tin roof. Karley looked behind them to see a woman on their tail raise her gun towards Natasha. Reacting on instinct, her hand shot up and blasted the gun out of the girls hand before she could get a shot off, turning her attention back to running when her feet hit the roof again.

The four girls took off towards the end of the roof with no other way around. They watched as the blond quickly dislodged a screw from the chimney in front of them, Natasha helping as she pushed the chimney away from the roof, seeing the Widow closing in on them.

"Jump on," Natasha shouted to the girls. Yelena easily jumped on one side, Karley jumping beside her as Daisy jumped beside Natasha, the four of them hanging on for dear life as they kicked off the roof.

This was too much like the Eiffel tower for Karley's liking.

As the chimney fell they watched as the woman who was chasing them made a jump for it, hands barely grazing the side of it before falling. Natasha managed to loosely grab onto the girl.

"I got you!" She screamed, trying to hold both of their weight up as the chimney continued to fall. What none of them were expecting was for the girl to pull a knife out and take a swipe at Natasha, forcing the redhead to let go or be stabbed. "No!"

The girl crashed into the rain flooded ground but they didn't have time to see what happened as the chimney finally crashed into the side of a building, sending all four of them flying at the sudden collision.

Karley watched as the blond girl went flying through the window first, the brunette right behind her. As they crashed onto the ground, glass cutting into both their hands, the brunette jumped up to look outside of the window for her sister and Natasha.

She sighed when she could see Daisy clinging onto the side of the window sill. Natasha wasn't as lucky however, as she crashed through multiple air conditioning vents and onto the lid of a dumpster on the ground, rolling off the side and landing onto her feet.

Seeing her girlfriend take a hard fall, Daisy let go of the window and dropped to the ground, using her powers to slowly land before walking over to the redhead.

"At least she stuck the landing," Karley noted, the blond girl next to her shooting her a look, having seen what the tall brunette had done back on the rooftops. "Me and my sister are friends with Natasha," Karley explained, gesturing to the two woman below them. "I'm Karley by the way."

"I didn't ask," the blond rolled her eyes before hopping out of the window, easily jumping from vent to vent before landing on the ground.

"Well that was rude," Karley mumbled to herself, jumping out of the window as well. As she went to jump from vent to vent like the blond had earlier, however, she was on the last one when her foot slipped from the recent rain. Letting out a surprised yelp as she plummeted to the ground, she was relieved when she felt her sisters vibrations around her like a cloud, harmlessly lowering her to the ground.

"Hey. Don't move," Natasha instructed the girl who was laying in the water. They could all see how badly she was hurt. "You're hurt. Let me help you."

As Natasha moved closer to the woman, she stopped when her Widow bites were pointed at the redhead. Daisy raised her hand, ready to act just in case.

Yelena looked to the sisters weirdly at their use of powers. They must be some of Natasha's fancy superhero friends.

"I don't wanna do this," the broken girl sobbed, breathing heavily from the pain. They watched as the girls Widow bites turned to point at her own face, a beeping sound counting down.

"What're you doing?" Natasha asked in concern, clutching her stomach as she stood there, unable to do anything.

"He's making me," she cried as the timer ran out. They all watched in horror as she shot herself in the face, her body going limp.

Yelena walked up to the redhead who was examining the body. Half of the girls face was fried.

"Do you believe me now?" She asked, putting the red vials of the Widow cure she had back in her satchel.

"How many others?" Natasha asked the blond, standing up from the puddle of water.

"Enough," she answered, taking back off into the building, the rest of the girls following.

Karley could've left after things had calmed down just now, but she wasn't about to leave her sister and Natasha in whatever the hell was currently going on.

As they ran into the building, they could all hear the shouting from behind them from whoever was chasing still.

"Which one is yours?" Natasha asked, approaching the parking lot they were near.

"The one on the left, brown seats," Yelena led them to a beat up sedan. "Where are my keys?" She patted her pockets before looking up to see the redhead flip them in her hands, hopping in the drivers seat. "Sushka," she cursed at her sister in Russian before jumping in the passengers seat. The two newcomers jumped in the back.

Just in time as a large tank plowed through the car beside them, Natasha punching the gas as the car took off.

"They're getting closer," Karley said, her eye on the tank that was gaining speed on their car. "I'm gonna try something!" Karley yelled in warning.

"Oh god," Natasha mumbled, seeing Karley close her eyes in concentration as blue energy started pooling out of her. "Put your seatbelt on," she told her sister, the blond confused as to what was about to happen.

"You're such a mom," Yelena mumbled, clipping her seatbelt in place.

As Karley concentrated on trying to surround the car with energy, Daisy knew that her sister was going to need a minute to get it to work. Sticking her head and hand out the window, she took aim at the tank and released a shockwave at the cannon, effectively breaking the whole thing off.

The motorcycle that was following them pulled out a machine gun and fired it through the back window, everyone ducking as the bullets flew past them.

"Okay you got a plan or shall I just stay duck-and-cover?" Yelena nagged at her sister, seeing that they weren't getting anywhere.

"Yeah, my plan was to drive us away," Natasha answered, swerving the car to avoid the oncoming traffic.

"That's a shit plan," the blond said, reaching over the center console and grabbing hold of the wheel and pushing it as hard as she could.

Daisy and Karley held on to whatever they could as the car lurched on its side, turning violently so they were facing the tank.

Natasha instantly switched to reverse and looked over her should as she expertly started driving down the street backwards. Yelena, taking this opportunity, opened her door and kicked it, breaking the part off as it flew towards the girl on the motorcycle.

At the same time as this, Daisy sent a shockwave to the girl as well, the combined effort of her and the blond taking the girl out.

"Hey that was pretty cool," Yelena said over her shoulder to Daisy.

Natasha whipped the car back around, bringing them into busy afternoon traffic. Karley now had more than half of the car covered in blue energy, sweating as she continued concentrating when the tank burst out of a side alleyway, once again on their tail.

"I just need a little longer," Karley told the redhead.

Yelena watched as a man stood up from the tank, staring directly at them.

"Oh shit, he's back," she mumbled, knowing they were about to be in trouble.

Before they knew what was happening, the man pulled out a bow and shot an arrow at them. For a few seconds, nothing happened. Then, everything was upside down as the car was shot ten feet into the air. Just as they were waiting to hit the ground, though, everything around them disappeared into blackness.

"Wow," Yelena whispered, looking around them. They were all still in the car, but everything was black. "Are we in heaven?"

"Nope, just in the process of teleporting," Natasha answered, holding back the breakfast she ate that morning.

As Yelena went to ask another question, the car was spit out through a giant portal and into a mostly empty parking lot, teetering on two wheels before falling to the ground.

"Holy shit that was trippy," the blond exclaimed, looking around to see that they were parked outside of a store. "She even parked perfectly!"

Natasha pinched her nose before turning around to the sisters who sat in the backseat. Just as she went to say something, Karley cut her off.

"It was all Daisy's idea, she coerced me into do it!" She blurted out, pointing to her older sister.

"You did not just rat me out!" Daisy turned to her sister and threw her hands in the air.

"Listen I don't care who's idea it was, but you both need to leave," Natasha scolded them, hopping out of the ruined car and heading for the store.

"I came here to help," Daisy argued, speed walking to catch up to her angry girlfriend.

"Uh oh, she's in trouble," the blond commented, sliding out of the car before opening the door for Karley. "I'm Yelena by the way. That was pretty cool what you did," the blond said, gesturing to the car on the side of the road. "I mean, I can't even park that good."

Karley looked to the parked car, seeing that it somehow was parked perfectly.

"That was purely accidental," the brunette admitted, covering her eyes from the sun as she glanced at the blond.

"Just take the win," Yelena said, still clutching her bleeding arm in pain.

Karley shrugged out of her jacket before approaching the girl who flinched away. Raising her hands, Karley slowly walked towards her again.

"I'm just going to wrap your arm up, okay?" She asked permission, only moving to grab the blonds arm after she nodded her head.

"So you're one of Natasha's Avenger friends, yea?" Yelena asked, wincing when the brunette prodded her arm a bit.

"Bullet went through, you should be fine," she said as she tied the jacket around her arm. "Yea, something like that. I wouldn't say I'm an Avenger though."

"Surely with powers like you've already displayed they'll make you one though?" Yelena questioned as the two made their way to the store.

"I don't know if I want to be one," Karley answered honestly, stuffing her hands in the black jeans she was wearing.

"Oh come on, who wouldn't want to be an Avenger!" She argued with the taller girl. "It's like, the coolest thing ever. Imagine all the people who would look up to you."

"I mean, people don't really look up to me. Don't you know who I am?"

"No, I only recently got out of the Red Room. They didn't let us watch the news."

"Oh, well that explains it. I'm not exactly a hero, Yelena. I've done some pretty bad stuff in the last few months."

"Like what?" The blond asked as the two entered the store. She could see Natasha and the other sister, Daisy she thinks her name was, were arguing as they grabbed some supplies.

"Let's just say... I was in the same boat as you and your sister were when you were in the Red Room for a few months."

Yelena turned to face the girl at this, seeing how her dark green eyes were hollow, bags from what had to be restless nights under them. She knew the signs of nightmares because she suffered from the same thing.

"Oh, well at least we're free now, yea?"

"Yea," Karley mumbled, knowing that it wasn't the truth.

"Daisy I specifically told you not to follow me," Natasha said, walking through the isles to grab some supplies.

"I know, and I know you're angry-"

"I'm pissed off actually. You could've been killed."

"That's already a part of our every day jobs, Nat. I'm only here because I want to help you."

"Well I told you I didn't want your help."

"No, you demanded that I stay at the tower while you went out and doing God knows what, leaving me to worry about you. I can handle myself Natasha."

"Yea well you brought Karley now too," the redhead said, pointing to the door where both of their sisters walked through.

"She'll be leaving soon, don't worry. Besides your little sister is here too," the brunette nodded her head to Yelena. She hadn't known that the blond was Natasha's sister until the redhead said the name earlier in the car. Natasha groaned, turning to face her stubborn girlfriend. Soft, brown eyes were looking at her worriedly.

"You're not going to let this go, are you?"

"Nope. Besides I'm here now and you guys could clearly use the help!" She smiled, moving to help Natasha grab some stuff to stitch her sisters arm up.

"You have no idea what you're getting into Daisy. This is some serious shit."

"Well I don't care as long as I'm by your side," the brunette said, heading to the counter and paying for their stuff.

An hour later, the four woman sat at a table with beers that Natasha had just bought.

"Is that all that's left?" Natasha asked, nodding her head to the red vials they nearly died for today.

"It's the only thing that can stop Dreykov and his network of Widows," Yelena explained as the redhead inspected her wound. "He takes more everyday. Children who don't have anyone to protect them. Just like us when we were small. Maybe one in twenty survives the training, becomes a Widow. The rest he just kills. To him, we are just things. Weapons with no face that he can throw away. Because there is always more. And no one's even looking for them, thanks to you and Alexei."

"Alexei," Natasha chuckles dryly.

"'Dad,'" Yelena says the word with disgust.

Daisy and Karley sat on the opposite end of the table, trying not to listen too closely as the other sisters talked.

"Did you ever look for you birth parents?" The blond asked, taking a sip of her beer as Natasha rewrapped her arm and leaned back in her seat.

"Well my mom left me in the street like garbage. You?"

"They destroyed my birth certificate, so I reinvented it. My parents still live in Ohio. You're a scientist out in the mid-west, part time though. Especially after you had your son."

Natasha smiled. That would've been nice. To have lived a normal life.

"That's not my story," the redhead looked towards Daisy, who had moved to the table beside the girls, talking to Karley.

"What is your story."

"I never let myself be alone long enough to think about it, until I met Daisy."

Yelena glanced over her shoulder to the girl that her sister seemed so fond of.

"You found yourself a family then, with the Avengers?"

"Not until recently," the redhead said, taking another sip of her beer.

"Do you ever want kids?" Seeing that her sister wasn't going to answer that she continued. "I want a dog."

"Where are you gonna go?"

"I don't know. I don't have anywhere to go back to." Natasha smirked and sat up in her chair, placing her beer on the table. "Don't," Yelena warned her.

"Don't what?"

"You're going to give me some big hero speech."

"Speeches aren't really my thing," she admitted. "It was more of an invitation."

"To go to the Red Room and kill Dreykov?"

"Yeah."

"Even though the Red Room is impossible to find and Dreykov is too slippery to kill?"

"Yeah."

"That sounds like a shitload of work."

Natasha sighed. "Yup. Could be fun though."

"Yup. Are your friends joining us?"

Natasha saw Karley and Daisy looking over to her expectantly.

"I haven't decided yet. But I saw where that mechanic set his keys."

Yelena smirked.

"Then let's get a move on."

Yup! I decided to throw the Black Widow movie in here too. I just watched it and it's too good not to! As you can see, things are going to go very differently. Alsoooooooo we have a new ship available if y'all would like to see Karley with Yelena! As always, I hope you enjoyed the chapter, there's more coming shortly. Please leave a review of what you're thinking! And yes, this story has a lot of Karley in here, but that's because she's my OC and she's a huge part of this story.
