Things went to shit after taking the Red Room down. Having broken the law and disobeying an order from the Senate itself, Senator Ross had put the four woman in custody before transporting them back to America. Of course they had patched the girls up, not wanting them to bleed to death, but that didn't stop Ross from putting them in a cell once they were done with their medical treatment.

As they sat in their cells across from each other, Daisy and Karley chained up with special cuffs so they couldn't use their powers, they had decided to play a game to pass the time.

"So you're telling me that you would've been on team Cap?" Karley asked her sister, raising her eyebrows.

"All day sis, I'm team Cap all day. He's reliable, trustworthy and always does what he thinks is right," Daisy explained herself, shifting to sit up on her bed. If they could call it a bed. It was really just a thin mattress pad with a blanket over it. The last week they've been locked up in here has been rough.

"Well I'd definitely choose Tony," Karley stated, walking around in her cell across the hall from Daisy's. "He's funny, a literal genius and he's got the money."

"Yeah I think I'm with Karley on this one," Yelena said, gesturing to the brunette that was next to her. "I haven't even met him, but money talks."

"Well I've played both sides," Natasha stated, glaring at the ceiling above her. "They both have their pros and cons. For example - Steve does do what he thinks is right, but he can be naïve sometimes. And Tony is a genius but his ego gets the best of him in most cases."

"Wow, tell me what you really think Romanoff," a voice chuckled from the doorway, causing all of the woman to jump up. "I can't leave you alone for two minutes can I?" Tony said, taking his sunglasses off in the dimly lit room.

"Tony!" Karley said excitedly, running over to the edge of her cell where the billionaire was standing.

"Hey little Johnson," he smiled before turning to the guards. "Let's go, I don't have all day."

Grumbling, the guards grabbed the keys and began letting the woman out.

"You're a sight for sore eyes," Natasha greeted, walking up to the man and giving him a hug as soon as her handcuffs were off. Tony hugged her back gently, glad that his girls were okay.

"We're getting out of here ladies," he told them, leading them down the hallway.

"How did you know we were here?" Daisy asked. When they arrived here last week Ross didn't even let them have a phone call.

"Money loosens lips," Tony explained as they approached the guard station.

"Told you so," Yelena laughed, proving her point.

"Hey, grab the ladies their items," Tony instructed one of officers who quickly hurried off. Looking to Yelena he raised his eyebrows. "Who are you?"

"Yelena Belova," she greeted, watching as the guards brought their items out front. She instantly grabbed her vest and clothes.

"Friend of Natasha's then?" He asked the redhead.

"She's my sister, actually," she explained, causing Tony's face to scrunch up in surprise.

"Sister? Does everyone secretly have a younger sibling?" He asked. "Anyways, I saw what you girls did in Hungary."

Natasha went silent at that.

The last week she couldn't keep her mind off of the events that unfolded in the Red Room. She was forced to work there for most of her life, same as countless other helpless little girls. Knowing that it was finally gone was a relief, but she never saw Dreykovs dead body. Deep down she knew the man that had caused so much pain was dead, but there was always that part of her that was going to doubt it.

Not to mention that she still had the USB with information on all the remaining Widows station around the world, and the antidote that needed replicated. Maybe she could get Tony and Bruce to help with that.

"Yeah," the redhead mumbled, collecting her items and making sure that she had the exact things she came here with.

"It was loads of fun," Yelena commented as she emerged from the bathroom in her white widows suit and jacket. Both were still dirty from the battle.

"Why are you wearing your dirty clothes?" Karley asked the blond with a curious eye.

"What? I'm not going into public wearing an orange jumpsuit," she retorted, pointing to the rest of the women who hadn't changed.

"She's got a point," Tony said, giving them a once over. "Orange isn't your color."

"Orange isn't anybody's color," Daisy said, going into the bathroom next to change into her jeans, boots and Karley's jacket.

"I would probably change," Tony told the remaining two, seeing Daisy exit the bathroom in her dirty clothes as well. "There's a shit load of photographers and press outside. They're not for me this time either."

This caught the girls attention.

"Why are they here then?" Natasha asked the question on all their minds.

"Well last week when Ross had you all arrested he made a public announcement about it, bragging about how he had the famous Black Widow, Quake and Surge in jail. He was hoping that the public would turn against you and help him in the upcoming trial, but Pepper did damage control and told the public the truth. It's been on the news around the globe all week about how you girls took down the Red Room," the billionaire explained.

Natasha didn't know how she felt about this. On one hand she was glad that the world knew about the Red Room so they knew what to look for. On the other hand though, she was furious that Ross would try and turn this against them. They had literally taken out the worlds most dangerous organizations, something that the world leaders didn't have a clue about.

"Did you tell them that Yelena Belova was a part of that too?" The blond joked. Her sister shot her a look. "I'm just kidding. Don't do that."

"The press is demanding answers, and they're hungry to talk to you ladies. Especially with the trial tomorrow," Stark said, checking his watch. "We need to get going. There's less that 23 hours until the trial and we still have a lot of work to do until then."

Karley went into the bathroom next, changing into her slick black widow suit. She wished she had literally anything else but this, quietly mourning the boots and jeans she lost when the Red Room crashed before exiting the bathroom. Stark was staring at her.

"What?" She asked annoyed.

"Nothing!" He quickly said, raising his hands. "I see you're taking a page out of Romanoff's book is all. It doesn't suit you," he admitted.

"Listen tin can," Karley snapped. "Until you're forced to wear something and put a mask on against your will, you don't get to judge me," she shoved past the man and walked to the doors, choosing to stare out into the crowd rather than argue with Tony.

Stark for his part wasn't expecting that reaction from the younger sister as he looked to Daisy for help.

"We have some stuff to fill you in on," she whispered to the billionaire.

In all honesty, Karley felt bad for snapping at him. Ever since they'd arrived back in America she had been on edge, not trusting herself after the ordeal in Hungary. It didn't help that the past week in their shared cell space, she kept waking everyone up in the middle of the nights when she had a nightmare. Every single night she would dream of her time as 'Surge,' dragging kids away and tearing families apart. She would wake up screaming and thrashing about, which led to the other girls waking as they weren't even twenty feet away from her.

Daisy had tried talking to her about the nightmares, but Karley would snap at her sister and push her away saying that she was fine. Even Natasha had tried to talk to her about them but ended up with the same results.

The only person who Karley hadn't snapped at was Yelena. For some reason, the brunette felt like she could trust her. She wasn't sure what it was about the blond. Maybe it was the fact that Yelena wouldn't baby her like Daisy would, or reassure her like Natasha tried.

Yelena was blunt about things, and Karley appreciated that.

"Finally!" Tony exclaimed when Natasha had exited the bathroom.

"Hey getting into this suit isn't as easy as it looks," the redhead explained as they made their way to the door.

"I think you look great," Daisy winked, kissing her girlfriend on the cheek.

Tony gently pushed past Karley, opening the door for the women as dozens of flashes went off, the screaming intensifying at the sight of them. They could see that there were easily over 100 people gathered around the jail, the police officers having trouble keeping them away from the path. Questions were being shouted at the passing group, microphones being thrust into their faces.

"Daisy Johnson! Is it true that you're the newest Avenger?"

"Ms. Romanoff are you and Ms. Johnson dating?"

"Tony I have a source claiming that you got engaged over the weekend. Is this true?"

"Natasha marry me!"

"Quake please sign my body!"

"Who is Yelena Belova?"

Tony pushed his way through the crowd easily, having done this many times before as Daisy and Natasha walked behind him, their younger halves following behind them.

"I don't like this," Natasha mumbled, grabbing her girlfriends hand for comfort. Daisy held onto it tightly, knowing that the redhead hated crowds.

"I know babe, but the car isn't too much further," she reassured her, pushing another microphone out of the way.

As Yelena and Karley followed behind them, the taller girl could see a camera being shoved towards her face as she angrily pushed it out of the way.

"Surge is it true that you were working for the Red Room?" The man asked her, a bright flash going off in her face. She pushed past him.

"Karley Danvers how does it feel now that you're free?"

"Karley how many people have you killed?"

"Surge do you know how many families you've torn apart?"

"Danvers is it true that you killed an innocent sixteen year old girl?"

The questions echoed through her head as Karley's breathing picked up. The public hated her. They saw her for the monster she truly was. They knew what she did. With each question asked it didn't take long for her to start hyperventilating, the world going blurry for a moment.

"Karley?" Yelena asked, the concern evident in her voice as they continued pushing through the crowd. "Hey you're okay. We're almost there."

A smaller hand slipped into her own. Looking down, Karley could see Yelena pulling her through the microphones and cameras, shielding her as best as she could.

The group was about thirty feet away from Tony's limousine when someone grabbed the back of Karley's suit, yanking her backwards as her hand fell out of Yelena's. Turning around to face whoever had grabbed her she was eye to eye with a man in his late forties. He was wearing dirty pants and an old t-shirt stained with oil. In his greasy hands she could see a picture as he shoved it towards her face.

"You remember her?" His voice angrily shouted over the rest. The crowd quieted down at the confrontation, but the camera's didn't stop. No, they were all trained on the two of them. "This was my daughter. Her name was Maya, and you killed her!"

Yelena had turned back as soon as she felt her empty hand just as the crowd went silent.

"I'm so sorry," Karley whispered, staring at the picture. It was the same girl who she had ripped a set of wings off of. She was wearing a yellow scrunchy in the picture, laughing as her father held her.

"Sorry isn't going to bring her back," he growled.

Everything happened at once. Karley was too focused on the picture to notice that the man was reaching for a knife in his beltline. As he thrust the weapon towards her stomach a blur of blond hair clouded her vision.

In one swift move, Yelena had grabbed the mans wrist and twisted it away from Karley. As she twisted it through the air she easily broke his arm, causing him to scream in pain and drop the weapon. The blond then pushed him backwards and into the crowd as Police swarmed him, placing him in cuffs and dragging him off.

Karley stumbled away in shock, stopping for a moment to pick up the picture he had dropped on the ground.

The press went crazy again.

"Let's go," Yelena whispered, gently wrapping her arm around the taller woman and leading them the rest of the way to the car. Once they arrived Daisy jumped up and enveloped her sister in a hug.

"Are you okay?" She asked, checking the younger sibling for any signs of injury.

"I'm fine," she assured her sister. "Can we just leave, please?"

"Of course," Daisy said, letting her sister get in the car first so she could watch for any signs of more crazy people.

Once they were all inside the vehicle, Yelena sat down next to Karley, placing her hand on her arm. The taller girl didn't reject the welcoming comfort, instead she leaned towards the blond.

"Thank you," she said, turning to look into the blonds light blue eyes.

"It was nothing," she replied, staring back at the younger girl. "That girls death wasn't your fault."

"I know," Karley admitted, breaking eye contact. "But it doesn't change the fact that I killed her."

"You alright Karley?" Tony asked having seen what happened.

"No, but I will be," she told him.

"Alright, well let me get you girls up to date on what's going to happen tomorrow."

When they arrived to the Tower everyone welcomed the girls back and Natasha introduced them to her younger sister.

"Wait a second," Sam said, eyeing the two girls. "You had a little sister and never told us about her?"

"Drop it Sam," the redhead warned.

"Does anyone else have a secret younger sister they'd like to introduce us to?" Sam called out to the group. No one answered. "Just making sure."

"Welcome to the team Yelena," Steve said, ignoring his friend.

"Do you guys have a family dog by any chance?" The blond asked the group.

"Oh I've already tried bringing up the idea of a team monkey," Fitz explained to the blond. "It didn't work.

"Haven't you seen Dawn of the Planet of Apes?" Daisy asked.

"We don't really have the time for pets around here," Tony answered for them. "Why do you ask?"

"Oh no reason," she shrugged, grabbing a bottle of water.

"Don't get any crazy ideas Belova," Stark said, knowing exactly where her mind was going.

"Me? Oh no, you've got it all wrong. Natalia is the crazy sibling in the family," she joked causing a few laughs. She was going to fit right in.

"Alright team, it's late and we have a long day tomorrow," Steve said, stepping into the middle of their small circle. "Let's go to bed. Don't forget we have to be up at six to talk to the lawyers."

Collective groans went around the circle knowing that he was right.

"Well I'm having a movie night in my room," Wanda told them, heading off for her room.

"Uh, Tony I made a break through on that project we were working on while you were gone," Fitz said as the billionaire grabbed a glass of coffee and left for the labs with the kid.

"I'm going to go inspect this vial that you girls gave me," Bruce said, holding up the only bottle of the antidote left.

"I'll assist you Dr. Banner," Simmons followed after the man.

"Well I'm joining Wanda for the movie night," Sam explained, taking off with an armful of snacks.

As the team started leaving to go do their own things, Steve walked up to Yelena.

"I could show you to your room if you'd like?" He offered the girl.

"That's very kind Steve, but I'm actually staying with Karley," she said, shooting him an apologetic look before joining the tall brunette.

"We never agreed to stay together," she told the blond, confused as to why she would say that.

"Uhh, I saved your life today. You owe me," she said, looping their arms together. "Besides, as cute as the Captain is, I wouldn't wanna have to shoot him down," she explained as the duo made their way down the hall.

As they approached Karley's room, which was really her sisters old room after she moved in with Natasha, the two older siblings walked down the hall hand in hand.

"You staying with Danvers?" Natasha asked her sister.

"Yeah, just for the night. Besides I have to steal clothes from someone in the morning seeing as you wouldn't stop at the Army Surplus on the way here," the blond stated.

"We'll get you clothes soon," Daisy said with a smile. "Maybe online though, considering what happened last time."

"Yeah we're definitely not going to the mall any time soon," Natasha mumbled recalling how badly it ended.

"What happened last time?" Yelena asked cluelessly.

"I almost died," Karley laughed.

"Why are you laughing?" The blond asked in confusion. "Americans are so weird. I'll never understand."

"All right you two, behave," Natasha said as her and Daisy closed their door.

"They act like we're going to do something crazy," Yelena said, following Karley into the lavish room. She's only been in such nice places like this when she was working undercover. Seeing the blond gawking at the insanely large room, Karley laughed,

"It's a tad bit too much if you ask me," she told the shorter woman.

"What do you mean? This place is amazing," Yelena stated before her eyes landed on the bedroom. With a mischievous glint in her eyes, Karley watched as the blond ran across the room and swan dove onto the bed, giggling when she sunk impossibly low into it.

"Careful there, Belova. You might get lost," the brunette joked as she started searching through her closest.

"Was that a short joke?" Her blond head popped up from the covers that practically swallowed her.

"Hey look, you're catching on to our American jokes," Karley teased, throwing the girl a pair of shorts and sweatshirt. "You can have the shower first."

"Are you sure? I don't wanna steal all of the hot water," the blond teased back, knowing that they had endless hot water here.

"Very funny, you almost made me laugh," Karley called out as the bathroom door shut.

Ages later, Karley sat up in the bed as the door opened again, steam rolling out as the blond emerged.

"You're literally a giant," Yelena complained, her hair dripping onto Karley's hoodie that almost went down to the girls knees.

"I'm not a giant, you're just short," she shot back as she made her way to the bathroom.

"I am not! Look at me, my hands don't even reach the end," she said, holding her arms out in a T to prove her point. "You're like, six feet tall."

"I'm actually five foot eleven, therefore, I am not a giant."

"You are compared to me! I'm only five foot four. This isn't even fair."

Karley smirked at the whining girl as she closed the door and showered, not taking nearly as much time as Yelena had.

Before long, both of the girls were sitting in the living room with glasses of wine.

"So are you gonna tell me what happened at the mall or will I have to bug my sister until she tells me?" The blond asked, taking a sip of the expensive beverage. Stark knew his wines.

"As amusing as that would be, I'll save Natasha the headache."

"Oh you haven't seen a headache yet, дорогой."

"What did you call me?"

"дорогой?"

"Yea."

"Wouldn't you like to know."

"Yelena."

"Darling."

"What did you call me?"

"I just told you!"

"No you didn't!"

"Please tell me all Americans aren't as dense as you, дорогой."

"What does it mean!"

"Darling!"

"Yelena!"

Daisy and Natasha were curled up in their shared bed, the redhead playing with her girlfriends short brown hair.

"Have you ever thought about growing it out?" She asked curiously, trying to picture her with longer hair.

"My hair actually used to be super long," she told the redhead, turning in bed to face her.

"Why'd you cut it?" Natasha asked, staring into her brown eyes.

"I cut it after I became a field Agent. You know, so when I got in fights people couldn't grab it," Daisy explained.

"Yeah," Natasha sighed. "Me too," she trailed off, thinking what it would be like to grow old with the woman lying next to her, growing both of their hair out and not having to worry about it being a problem. "Have you ever thought about what you want to do after all this Avenger and superhero stuff?"

Daisy paused for a moment at the question, not expecting it.

"I mean, I used to think I'd live a normal life. If you would've asked me that six years ago I would've told you that I dreamed of settling down in New York. I would've had a little white picket house somewhere isolated, working as a tech girl, staying at home to take care of the kids," she admitted to the redhead.

"And how about now?"

"Now, I don't care what I do after this as long as you're with me."

Natasha grinned at that, knowing that she felt the same.

"You want kids?"

"I mean, I've thought about it. I'd love to have kids. What about you?"

"Well, if you would've asked me six years ago, I would've said no. But now..." she trailed off, the image of kids running around a white picket house coming to mind. "Like you said, I don't care as long as I'm with you. Does it bother you that I can't have children?"

"You know it doesn't babe," Daisy said, running her hand across Natasha's face gently. "Besides there's always adoption. Talking from experience, I know there's a bunch of children in the world that need homes."

Watching the woman in front of her ramble on about the benefits of adopting children, she kissed her, effectively ending her jumbled words.

"You're the most amazing person I've ever met, Daisy. You know that?"

"Hmm, I think I might need another kiss so you can prove your point," the brunette said with a grin, crawling on top of the redhead as their lips found each other again.

"I'm serious though. I have never imagined having a future, not once," Natasha said, rubbing her girlfriends arms as they stared at each other, their faces inches apart. "Until I met you. Ever since we started sneaking out of the tower to go on dates, I've been imagining what my future would look like. And when I try to picture it, I always see you there."

"Well I would hope so," Daisy whispered. "Because I'm not going anywhere Nat. Not for a long time," she promised the redhead.

"I love you," Natasha said, watching Daisy's face for her reaction, half expecting the girl to run off. So when her girlfriend smiled and leaned down for another kiss, she gently rolled her over and held the brunette.

"I love you too, Natasha."

Ahhhh! Sorry for the short chapter, but the next one is going to be a lengthy one haha, trust me. So Daisy and Natasha said the three big words, what do y'all think? Sorry if it feels like it wasn't fulfilling, I'm not the best when it comes to romance scenes, but I'm doing my best! Anyways, I decided that Karley and Yelena are going to be endgame because after watching the Black Widow movie, I just need to see more of the blond! As always, if you have any advice or suggestions for the story, drop a comment!
