Natasha, Daisy, Bucky, Yelena and Karley finally landed in Wakanda by time the sun had risen. It was a long flight which was mostly spent licking their wounds and making sure they weren't followed.

"How's the knee?" Daisy asked her sister as the ramp to the jet lowered. She could see the younger girl was clearly stiff with pain as she held an icepack to her more than likely broken femur.

"Hurts," Karley responded, licking her dry lips as a few people walked up the ramp with a wheelchair. "Oh I don't want to go in that thing Daisy," she whined.

"Well you can't even walk, sis. Besides these guys have the best medical facility in the world," she explained as she put Karley in the wheelchair.

T'Challa walked up to the group as they came down the ramp.

"Welcome to Wakanda," he greeted. "Long time no see."

"Thanks again for this, T'Challa," Natasha told the man as they walked into his home.

"It's not a problem. We'll get them looked at right away," he said, patting the redhead on the back as they entered the medical wing. "Shuri! We got some guests who require medical attention."

"Of course, brother. Bring them in," she said as she took the wheelchair from one of the staff. "I'm Shuri," she told the newcomers as they settled down on to beds.

"I'm fine," Yelena told one of the doctors who approached her, scaring the man off with a look that could kill. She's been poked a prodded with needles too much in the last few weeks.

"I assure you they only wish to help," T'Challa told the blond.

Yelena stared at the King, sizing him up. He seemed to be honest and genuinely concerned for their well being, and Natasha trusted him otherwise her sister wouldn't have brought them here.

"Okay, but no one pokes me with needles," she stated, allowing the doctor to look her over.

"Aww, is Yelena scared of a little needle?" Karley teased from her bed before grunting when Shuri prodded her knee.

"Oh it is definitely broken, but I'll be right back. You'll be walking again in no time," she explained as she ran off.

Bucky stood in the doorway and watched the girls with a careful eye. He knew that there was no reason to be on edge since he's lived in Wakanda for the past few months, but he wasn't worried about the people who lived here. He was worried about the two girls he just broke out of the Raft.

Bucky knew first hand what the effects of having your mind fucked with for years was like. Though Karley wasn't under the Red Dawns control for years like he was with Hydra, he still knew that the effects would remain. Same went with Yelena who was with the Red Room up until recently.

"What's the plan now?" Yelena asked the group. "We just live our days away in Wakanda?"

"Well," Natasha started as she made her way to the blonds side. "Daisy and I can't stay here too long. Ross is surely going to get a warrant for Avengers tower and we need to be there when he does."

"But," Daisy continued for her girlfriend. "You two will be safe here until we can come back. Take your time to recover," she directed that last part at her sister.

"Then what?" Karley asked, sitting up in her bed straighter. "I mean we all know that Ross won't stop hunting us down until we're back in the Raft for life."

"I'm not staying here forever and wearing some robes to be a monk," Yelena pointed to one of the doctors to prove her point. "I know how to stay off the radar and I'm going after the rest of the Widows around the world."

Natasha scoffed at the idea.

"That's too dangerous to do on your own and you know it," she told her younger sister.

"Then I'll go with her," Karley spoke up. "As soon as my knee is better we'll go together."

"You two can't go alone. You were both exposed to concilium so you're more susceptible to it," Daisy pointed out the obvious, taking a stand by her girlfriend. Both of them had crazy little sisters.

"I'll join them," Bucky said this time, making his way across the room to Karley and Yelena's sides. "Between the three of us, I'm sure we can manage to track these girls down."

Natasha pinched her nose at this. It's not that she doubted they couldn't take the rest of the Widows down, she knew they were more than capable. But all three of them were exposed to the same drug so if Hydra did get ahold of them it was going to be a big problem. Or if Ross got ahold of them.

"We're not staying here while they're still out there," Karley explained. "Like Bucky said, the three of us can manage. Especially once I get these gloves off my hands and have my powers back."

"Fine," Daisy relented, knowing that they weren't going to win this argument. Besides, someone had to go after the Widows while the Avengers deal with the Inhumans who have been popping up recently. "But, you're not going to work alone."

"Well the Avengers can't be seen working with us," Yelena told her. "So who is?"

"I know some people," Daisy said with a smile. "You can work with S.H.I.E.L.D. on this. My best friend is running it right now and we still work from the shadows. They'll give you the support and supplies you need to do this."

"I'm not agreeing to that," Bucky instantly told her at the mention of S.H.I.E.L.D.

"Bucky it isn't the S.H.I.E.L.D. that was part of Hydra," Daisy explained. "We made our own little branch that's not known to the world. It's small and covert and run by good people, I promise."

"I don't care. I'm done working with the government, either we do this alone or I'm out," he complained.

"If you want you can ask Steve. He'll vouch for these people. He met them and worked with them for a few months," Daisy tried reasoning with him. She had only met this man a couple weeks ago but she could see that he wanted to help Yelena and Karley and it wouldn't hurt if they had an extra person by their side.

"I don't know..." Bucky trailed off. "I'll ask Steve, but that doesn't mean I'm agreeing to work with them."

"Okay," Daisy said with a nod. "This is going to be dangerous enough even with the support of S.H.I.E.L.D. so I'm going to make a call to some old friends," she told the group as she left the room.

Natasha looked to her little sister, bruised and beaten on the bed in front of her. She didn't like that they were going after the Widows without the redhead, but Natasha knew that their priority was hunting these inhumans who had recently turned. The Red Dawn had them somewhere stockpiled for this unknown war that they kept talking about with Thanos.

As much as they tried looking into the name, it came up empty. But Tony had recently told the team about the vision he had when he touched the scepter in Seoul last year, knowing that it was relevant to whatever this war was. They had to be prepared for another battle of New York if it came to it.

"You guys need to be careful," she told the younger sisters. "We've all seen just what they're capable of, so watch each others back."

"Of course," Yelena whispered to her sister. "We'll all look out for each other."

"Don't worry Nat, I'll make sure she doesn't get into any trouble," Karley joked causing the blond to shoot her a look.

"Need I remind you who did all the heavy lifting in the Raft?" She pointed out with a smirk.

"Hey that's not true," Karley whined. "I took out a few of them. Besides you can't pick on me, I'm injured."

Yelena rolled her eyes at the brunette beside her with a smile. She was a child.

"I'm going to check on Daisy," Natasha told them, patting her sister on the shoulder before taking off into the hallways.

As the redhead left, Shuri walked in and approached Karley with what looked like a prosthetic brace.

"Take your pants off," she instructed the inhuman causing her a blush at that. Seeing the girls cheeks turn pink Shuri laughed and pulled a curtain around them, concealing the duo from prying eyes.

"It's not like I was going to look дорогой," Yelena called out from the other side of the curtain.

Karley ignored her and slowly peeled off her white jump suit, leaving her in her underwear and bra in front of Shuri, who for her part didn't say anything about the many cuts, bruises and scars. Instead she worked on washing her left leg off with a rag before attaching the brace.

The brace was very advanced, beyond years of what the U.S. had in hospitals. It was sleek and fit perfectly to her entire left leg from her hip to her ankle. Shuri pushed a button on the side and Karley watched in amazement as the brace shrunk even smaller, slightly uncomfortably and clung to her leg tighter.

"This will allow you to walk on your leg until it heals. You'll still have to have surgery on it, but that won't take long. I scheduled it for tomorrow," Shuri started explaining. "After that you'll continue to wear the brace for a few weeks, maybe months."

Karley took this time to slowly stand up on her leg for the first time, surprised when the brace did all the work for her. She took a few cautious steps forward without any new pain flaring up.

"This is amazing, Shuri. I can't thank you enough for the help you're willing to give us," Karley said gratefully. If they didn't know about Wakanda, she had no idea where they might be at this point. Probably some shithole.

"It is not a problem, Karley. Here put these on and change out of those nasty clothes. I'm going to get some tools so I can carefully cut your gloves off," she said and handed the taller girl a set of Wakandan clothes.

Karley shook her head as she changed, knowing Yelena was going to poke fun at her when she opened the curtains. As soon as she was fully clothed again, she opened the curtains slowly already knowing the blond was about to have her fun.

As she slowly walked out from behind her shelter, Yelena's eyes fell on her in an instant, her mouth slightly ajar as she took the girl in.

Karley was dressed in a thin, silky yet baggy black shirt that covered her arms and legs. It was soft on her skin and was light enough to allow air to flow through in the heat of Wakanda. Over the black shirt, she had a dark purple sleeveless jumpsuit with intricate, silver threading weaved into it. The jumpsuit went down to her calves before turning into a blousing, which she was used to. Having been in the military they did it with all their pants, so this was nothing new. This material was slightly thicker but was baggy so you couldn't see her brace underneath and she wouldn't overheat in the Wakandan weather.

Shuri had also given her wrappings which she guessed she was supposed to wrap her feet with? She noticed that no one in Wakanda had really worn shoes. So she carefully sat down and wrapped her feet in the black cloth nice and tight so they wouldn't fall off. She slightly tugged on the pants and pulled them over top of the black wrapping, completely covering her up.

She had taken her hair down and instead let it cascade down her back, naturally curling on its own a few inches below her shoulders. It felt nice to let it air out after having gotten used to wearing it up for so long.

Yelena had finally managed to close her mouth and gather her bearings. She assumed that Karley was wearing Shuri's clothes because they looked simple yet regal. She also noticed that the brunette had finally let her hair down, allowing it to frame her face and making her cheekbones more prominent. The still rising sun was basking Karley in its glory, making her look beautiful as her dark green eyes seemed softer than they ever have before.

In their time together the last month or so, Yelena had only seen the inhuman woman in her work clothes and a prison jumpsuit. Seeing her in the Wakandan clothes was doing something to the blonds insides as she sat up a bit straighter, averting her gaze so she didn't continue staring, opting to clear her throat instead.

"No snarky remark?" Karley asked as she slowly walked over and sat on the gurney next to Yelena.

"Cat's got her tongue," Bucky stated as he emerged from behind his own curtain having changed as well. His clothes were much simpler, but still looked great on him. They were similar to Karley's but colored black and green. His didn't have the intricate designs hers had either.

"I think you're right Bucky," Karley teased as she playfully elbowed the blond in question. "I was definitely expecting some snide comment from you."

"No!" Yelena defended herself as she continued to stare at the ground. She was afraid if she looked at the woman next to her she would blush. Lord help her. "I'm just tired. And hungry for some real food."

"I'm with you on that one," Karley said, her stomach rumbling at the mention of food. She wondered what they ate in Wakanda. Whatever it was, she was sure it was just as good as their medical capabilities.

The trio sat there in silence, waiting for literally anyone to come grab them or tell them what to do. As they did Karley took the chance to lay down on the bed and close her eyes, easily drifting off to sleep knowing that she was safe and wasn't in any pain at the moment.

Yelena, still on the same bed, waited until the brunette fell asleep before saying fuck it and laying down as well. As she did, Karley stirred for a moment before rolling over and draping her arm across the blond. Yelena stiffened at first, not used to this, before easing up and turning to face the woman next to her. She moved closer to Karley and put her head on the younger girls chest, allowing herself to finally close her eyes as well.

Bucky sat in his own chair across from them and fiddled around with his new arm that Shuri had made him, keeping an eye on the girls. Anyone could see that they were attracted to each other, it was obvious just from the way they seemed to cling to the other as they slept.

He sighed at the sight, knowing that the peacefulness wasn't going to last long. Once Karley was healed up, they were setting off for a dangerous mission. One that could easily get them all killed, or worse - captured. He knew what the Red Dawn and Hydra were capable of, all three of them did. That's why he was agreeing to help the two of them on this mission.

Hell he's been trying to take them down on his own very carefully but it's been a slow process without much progress. It would be nice to have help. They could all watch out for each other. Bucky had been working alone for years on end so having a team would be nice for a change.

As he sat there drifting off to sleep in his uncomfortable chair, he smiled to himself.

Hydra had no idea what was coming for them.

"Thanks Mack. I know it's a lot to ask but you're the only one I trust with my sister," Daisy said on the Wakandan phone she borrowed from T'Challa. She didn't trust that her own phone wasn't bugged. She could've easily hacked into it to make sure it wasn't but then Ross or whoever was watching would know somethings up. Besides, this was much easier. "They'll be hiding for a few weeks and recovering, but once they're ready I'll make sure they know how to get to the Playground."

Natasha rounded the corner to find her girlfriend getting off the phone with a sigh. Once Daisy noticed the redhead she smiled and walked up to her, wrapping her arms around the shorter woman.

"Was that your friend?" The redhead asked, snaking her hands around her girlfriend and pulling them closer together.

"Yeah that was Mack. He was more than happy to have the help from another inhuman, widow and super soldier," Daisy said with a smile. "He's going to reach out to some of my older friends too, so they won't be alone out there."

"That's great Speedy," Natasha answered and leaned up for a kiss which Daisy happily gave. "You know we have to get going soon?"

Daisy frowned at that, knowing her girlfriend was right. They had been away from the tower way too long as it was but she couldn't help it. She had just gotten her sister and now she had to say goodbye. So did Natasha. Life was playing a cruel trick on them.

"I know, I just don't want to say goodbye," she admitted as she looked to the ground in thought. Daisy didn't know when she would get to see her sister again. Not to mention the fact that they were setting out on a dangerous mission after Hydra.

Daisy had been fighting Hydra since she's joined S.H.I.E.L.D. and after years they were still thriving. Now her younger sister would be continuing her fight and Daisy wouldn't even be there to protect her.

Karley had been fighting since she was 18 years old and even at 24 she was still fighting. Fate was funny like that. Moving her from one war to another, and Daisy couldn't do anything about it.

"I know love," Natasha whispered, placing her hand on her girlfriends face forcing her to meet her eyes. "We will figure this Ross situation out quickly, I promise. Then when it's all sorted out we'll bring our sisters home where they belong. Whatever it takes."

Daisy felt like she couldn't speak, a lump forming in her throat so she nodded and buried her head in Natasha's shoulder. The redhead pulled her into a tight hug knowing how hard this was on Daisy. Hell, it was hard on her too. She didn't want to let Yelena go either, but until they sorted through the Sokovia Accords and the Senate, there was nothing they could do except hide their sisters away.

"Whatever it takes," Daisy promised as they pulled apart, holding hands.

"Ladies," T'Challa said from down the hall as they both turned to the king. "Could I borrow you for a moment Daisy? I believe there is something I could help you with."

"Uhhh, yeah, sure," Daisy said hesitantly as the duo followed the man through some halls.

"So I know this may not be my place to speak," T'Challa said as he led them through his home. "But Dr. Banner sent me your power inhibitor a few weeks ago, Daisy."

At the mention of the device that nearly killed her, both of the women tensed for a moment, wondering where this conversation was going. Daisy subconsciously rubbed her neck where a scar now resided, memories of that fateful day flooding her mind. She didn't even know that Bruce had sent the device to Wakanda. He didn't ask her or even mention it.

"What about it?" Natasha asked as they walked into an advanced looking workshop area. There were machines that neither woman had ever seen before and holograms were flashing across the walls with what looked to be blueprints of various designs.

"Well my genius little sister," T'Challa gestured to a smaller corner of the workshop where they could see Shuri working on something, "has figured out a safer version of your power inhibitor."

Shuri took off her facemask and set down one of the high tech power tools she was working with to face the group. On the workbench they could see the small, metal inhibitor that the Kree had designed literally a hundred years in the future, and some kid was working on it.

"As my brother was saying, I have been working on this small device. It's an interesting design, but I won't bore you with the details. Basically," she picked up the small object that was the size of a nickel. "I redesigned it so that instead of forcing your powers to sizzle out, it amplifies them a bit."

"That's the problem," Daisy said, gesturing the the inhibitor. "I don't want my powers amplified. I need them dulled down or sizzled out in case I get out of control," she explained.

The last few months since being home had been rough. She had finally forgiven Coulson for the choice he made, but she had never forgotten what she caused. How could she? Every time she used her powers, even though she was using them to help people, it scared her knowing that she could cause that future.

When she started dating Natasha she told the redhead of her fears. Natasha and the rest of the Avengers knew of Daisy's problem, knowing that she was supposed to be the 'Destroyer of Worlds', so the redhead had comforted her girlfriend as best as she could. They even practiced meditating together, how to stay calm and whatnot. But that fear of knowing she was supposed to destroy the world was always rooted deep inside of her at all times.

Fitz and Tony had even tried helping Daisy, making her advanced gauntlets that would help her control her powers. And while they did an amazing job, it still did nothing to ease her fears. Vision had talked to her about the meaning of life and what the end of the world could mean, assuring her that if it did happen it was meant to be. That certainly didn't help her feel better.

The only people she's truly voiced her fears to were Natasha and Jemma.

"While it does amplify your powers," Shuri continued explaining, proudly holding the device out to Daisy. "I also installed it with a kill switch. Now it's not an actual 'kill' switch, but if your powers reach above a certain magnitude, the inhibitor will release a powerful jelly fish toxin. It will put you into a coma, which isn't safe by any means, but it wouldn't kill you and it's the safest version I could design."

Daisy could see closely now that inside of the inhibitor there was a small pouch that was filled with a glowing liquid swirling inside of it.

"What kind of jelly fish toxin is that?" Natasha asked behind Daisy's shoulder. She didn't like the idea of putting that thing back in her girlfriends neck at all, even if it was for the safety of the world.

"It's an exotic jelly fish native to and only found in Wakanda," T'Challa explained. "We also have the antidote to wake the person up if it ever does go off. It wouldn't harm Daisy in any way, it isn't poisonous at all. It simply shuts down someone's brain functions and puts them in a coma until the antidote is administered."

Daisy studied the small device in her hand carefully. Of course she already knew that she was going to take this opportunity, but it didn't hurt knowing what she was about to stick back into her neck. Maybe this would help her sleep better at night. Maybe.

"How powerful would the earthquakes need to be for it to be triggered?" She asked Shuri, handing the girl back the small device.

"It would have to be above a 10 on the Richter scale that you Americans use, which is already destructive enough on it's own. But this is designed for anything above that. Dr. Banner also sent some videos of your training and fights you've been in and recordings of your power scale. The most powerful blast we have recorded on you was a 7.9 but who knows," she explained as she set the device down carefully. "I could put it back in your neck at any time, Daisy. Just let me know."

"Thank you," she told the girl with a sigh of relief. "Could we do it today?"

"Of course, it'll only take me about an hour to put it back in," Shuri told her, moving to open a door, revealing a luxurious, beautifully decorated bedroom on the other side. Shuri moved to grab some clothes from her closet before closing the door again. Of course her bedroom was attached to the workshop, Daisy mused. "But first I'm going to cut those gloves off your sister and show them to their rooms. Meet me in the medical wing in an hour?"

"See you then," Daisy said with a smile, watching as Shuri left.

"Alright then, I am glad we could help yet another friend," T'Challa said with a grin. "I have some business to attend with the other tribes today. I'm assuming you ladies are leaving after the surgery?"

"Unfortunately," Natasha answered. "This is probably goodbye for awhile."

"Your sisters are in good hands," T'Challa assured the woman, reaching his hand out for goodbyes. "I promise you they'll always be welcome in Wakanda, as are you."

"Thank you, T'Challa," Natasha said, shaking his hand warmly. "I don't think we'll ever be able to repay you for everything you've done for us."

"Nonsense, Natasha. We're always happy to help a friend," he told her before turning to Daisy. "You're in good hands with my sister. She's the brightest Wakanda has to offer. I wish you two safe travels and I hope to see you again soon."

"Likewise," Daisy said. "As my girlfriend said, thank you for everything."

T'Challa simply smiled before letting go of her hand and walking out of the room.

Once the two of them were alone, Natasha turned to face her girlfriend with a frown.

"So you're getting the inhibitor put in?" She commented plainly. It's not that she was against Daisy having the inhibitor put back in her neck, but rather the fact that it could cause her girlfriend to go into a coma. She knew it was for the best and it was the safest thing to do but it still sucked.

"Yeah, it's the only safe option we've been offered so far Nat."

"I know," the redhead said, grabbing Daisy's hands in her own. "It just worries me knowing that you could go into a coma. I'm always going to worry about you Speedy."

Daisy reached her hands up and pulled Natasha into a long, loving kiss, only pulling apart when they needed air. She would never get used to kissing the redhead.

"I love you," Daisy told her girlfriend. "I know you're going to worry, but this is best for everyone."

"I love you too, Daisy. Should we go see our sisters?"

"Yeah, let's go."

Hand in hand the duo made their way through the many hallways of the Wakandan palace, getting weird glances from some of the staff as they made their way to the medical wing. Opening the door, the two of them froze at the sight before them.

In a chair on the left Bucky was slumped at an uncomfortable angle, head up as he lightly snored.

On the right, however, were both of their little sisters on one of the small medical beds. And they were cuddling.

They could see that Karley had changed into beautiful and expensive looking clothes, looking like a true Wakandan in the black and purple. Her dark brown hair was splayed across the pillows, falling off the side of the bed as she lay on her back, mouth open.

On top of her lay Yelena, still in her white prison jumpsuit, hair tied into a ponytail. Her head was on Karley's chest, nose buried in her neck, one arm draped over the brunette in a side hug. They were both clinging to the other.

"You're seeing this too, right?" Daisy whispered with a smile.

"Yeah, our sisters are cuddling," Natasha whispered back. The redhead watched as her girlfriend pulled out the encrypted phone she had and took a picture, pocketing the mobile device as the camera shutter stirred the two women awake.

Yelena was the first to wake up from the nap, confused as to why she was so warm. Glancing over she saw the reason. She was curled into Karley's side.

With a brief look of panic she abruptly shot up in the bed and came face to face with the two older siblings looking down at her with a smile.

"What?" She asked innocently as she swung her legs over the table stiffly, still sore the the events of last night. "Stop staring at me like that."

"You looked awfully comfy, want us to come back later?" Natasha teased, sticking her thumb towards the door.

Yelena just rolled her eyes at her sister, before looking to see that Karley had finally woken up. The brunette wiped a bit of drool from the corner of her mouth as she slowly stood up with a wince of pain.

"You look good," Daisy told her sister, gesturing to her new look. Karley looked down at her clothes, having forgotten she changed earlier.

"Oh, thanks. I think they're Shuri's," she said with a smile as she limped towards the group. Bucky had woken up at this point as well but stayed in his seat as he rubbed sleep from his eyes. "You guys leaving soon I take it?"

Daisy could hear the hurt and disappointment in her sisters voice. It warmed her heart knowing that Karley didn't want her to leave just as much as she didn't want to leave.

"Yeah, we're going to leave in a couple hours or so," Daisy said, explaining how Shuri made a new inhibitor and was going to place it in her neck again. It dawned on Daisy that she never told her sister that she was supposed to be the 'Destroyer of Worlds', so it took awhile to explain everything to the two younger sisters.

"Damn, so you went to the future?" Yelena asked in awe. "That's like, so cool. Except for the end of the world part."

"It was certainly an adventure," Daisy said with a tense laugh recalling how many times she and her team almost died. At that moment Shuri walked in.

"Go shower and change into these," she said, tossing clothes to Yelena. "Okoye will show you to a room." Yelena didn't complain and followed behind a stern looking guard carrying a spear. As they disappeared from sight, Shuri turned to Karley. "Let me see your arm, we'll have that glove off of you in no time."

Karley didn't doubt the girls capabilities and held her arm out without hesitation as Shuri got to work. After only a few minutes the glove was off and discarded to the floor, energy flowing back into Karley like a dam breaking. Her connection to the astral plane was a welcoming comfort as her hands lit up with energy once again. She felt like herself again.

"Thank you," she said to the princess of Wakanda.

"It's not a problem," Shuri said with a smile. "By the way, you look amazing in those clothes. They were made for you, Karley."

"Thanks," she replied with a smile of her own. "I'll make sure they get back to you."

"Absolutely not," Shuri said as she picked her tools up. "I designed those but I never liked they way they looked on me. Those are all yours. Once we get you settled into a room tonight I'll have Okoye bring you some old clothes of mine that I don't wear anymore."

"You really don't have to Shuri," Karley said, not wanting the girl to feel obligated to help her.

"Well I don't know what the rules in the States are, but it's frowned upon to walk naked in Wakanda. Unless you plan on wearing the same clothes everyday?" She argued with a laugh, knowing she had a point.

"Well I appreciate it," Karley relented, standing up from the bed.

"I can tell we're going to good friends," Shuri told her. "And friends share clothes."

Karley laughed and watched as she walked off to start prepping her sister for the small surgery. As Karley sat down in the armchair Bucky was in earlier, she watched as Shuri cut her sisters neck open with a careful eye.

Daisy winced a bit as a cut was made on the base of her neck, under her hairline. Whereas the inhibitor was placed on the side of her neck the first time by the Kree, Shuri explained that putting it on the base of her skill was safer in case the jelly fish toxin ever did get injected into her system.

As the surgery went on, Natasha stood by Daisy's side, holding her girlfriends hand in support.

Karley was starting to nod off a bit when the door opened once again revealing Yelena freshly showered and changed. This time, it was the inhumans turn to hang her mouth open.

Yelena wore the same silky shirt that Karley had, but hers was white instead. The sleeveless jumpsuit on the outside was a midnight blue with similar threading worked into it. The threading was made of a very faint gold trimming. Where Karley's threading was of a harder, more complicated design, Yelena's threading was soft, simpler. It was almost gentle compared to the brunettes. The threading also went into spirals around the sleeves of the white shirt, connecting the artwork all across the blonds body.

Yelena's pants also ended in a blousing at her calves, but her feet wrappings were a midnight blue that matched the jumpsuit with the gold threading continuing into them as well. The dark blue of the jumpsuit brought out the blonds brilliant light blue eyes, making them shine even from across the room. Yelena had also decided to let her hair down, the long blond locks falling well past her shoulders, water still slightly dripping from her shower.

Karley had to remember to close her mouth so she didn't drool.

"Wow look at you," Natasha teased once again. "I thought you said you wouldn't wear robes and be a monk?"

"Well seeing as I don't have my vest," Yelena pouted a bit at the loss of her favorite vest which was back at the tower. It was the first piece of clothing she ever got to buy and she didn't have it anymore. She would get it again someday.

"Don't worry, I'll keep it warm for you," Natasha promised with a smile as her girlfriend squeezed her hand tighter in pain. Shuri had installed the inhibitor and was now closing her up.

"You wouldn't dare," the blond said, squinting her eyes and crossing her arms as she challenged the older sister.

"Try me," Natasha said back. "I won't destroy it, I promise."

"You better not or I'll beat you ass," Yelena threatened.

"As if you could," Natasha said with a scoff.

"You know what -" Yelena was cut off by Karley.

"Sit down before you that vein in your neck explodes," she joked, seeing the vein in the blonds neck sticking out. "Besides, you can beat me up any time," she added on with a wink.

Yelena blushed a bit at the comment before making her way over to a bed and sitting down, knowing that this was goodbye for awhile. Which sucked. She had literally just gotten Natasha back after 20 years and they were being separated again.

As soon as Shuri was done with Daisy, she put a white bandage over her neck and gave her some cream to help with the healing process before excusing herself, leaving the four sisters alone. Bucky had wandered off sometime earlier.

There was a tense silence between the women, knowing that this was goodbye for who knows how long. The older sisters were heading back to New York with the rest of the Avengers to live comfortably as they faced the inhuman's that seemed to be popping up everywhere. The younger sisters were heading god knows where around the world to live and operate in the shadows and take down Hydra and the Red Dawn. The problems with Ross and the Senate didn't seem to be slowing down or going away anytime soon, even though the public was on the girls side. The riots and protests only grew by the day.

"So, this is it," Daisy broke the silence, her eyes glued on the ground, arms crossed. She had unshed tears in her eyes, the feeling of failure overcoming her. She hadn't been able to keep her baby sister safe like she wanted to, and now they were being forced apart. They had a few good months together, but that wasn't enough. Not to mention the fact that it wasn't even really her sister she had been spending that time with, rather the Red Dawns lackey version of her.

"Not forever," Natasha spoke up, trying to be optimistic. "We're bringing you two home, whatever it takes."

"Whatever it takes," Daisy finally looked at her sister before enveloping her in a hug.

"Whatever it takes," Karley whispered back, holding her sister even tighter. Behind the inhuman sisters Natasha and Yelena were also saying goodbye.

"Whatever it takes," Yelena agreed as they all pulled apart.

"See you in a minute," Natasha told the two younger sisters.
