My name is Genie.

You can call me Eugene. Gene. Rainy. Whatever floats your boat.

I'm a closet nerd. Daydream a lot. I want to break stereotypes, so I poke fun of them instead.

Occasionally, I write. Sprinkle in an okay plot. I like stories that make me think, so I try to write the same.

I don't condone bashing other authors for their works. Any parody I write about either comes from the oversaturation of the same cliches stuffed inside a fandom (i.e. wimpification), or stems from my own inexperience as a writer. While I prefer stories where romance (if it even exists) takes a backseat to other themes, I'm openminded to shipping within reason. I enjoy wholesome fluff as much the next person, though arguably, I've noticed that friendship and family fluff bring more to the table.

For the most part, platonic or romantic intent aside, I like my characters' relationships the same way I like my apples: Healthy and Crisp. Heh.

Gray areas are my jam.

Wrapping it up, I only have one rule on this site: Have fun. Seriously, that's it. This is my little cool down pocket from life, and I'm guessing it's yours too. So chill. Come crash in a snuggie, sip some hot tea, and enjoy some sweet jams. The world of Fanfiction is your oyster.
