A/N: Welcome... I know that I haven't been active since June but I've been busy with college work and I took a needed break. But I also came up with ideas for other fan fics, this being one of them. So, without further ado, let's go!

Stellen North is a 22 year old male with short brown hair akin to Jake Gyllenhaal's hair from Zodiac. He has a muscular build and has distinct blue eyes. He is also 5'10.

New Animals and a New Bond

Urgh…. I feel like I've had a hangover and got in a fight. I opened my eyes, which was a struggle because the daylight was stinging my eyes. The last thing I remember is walking through a forest with campers at a summer camp before what looked like a white light came right at me.

This made me sit up and look around my surroundings. The biggest thing I noticed was that the forest I'm in doesn't look like the forest the summer camp was situated. I know because it's in America and this forest looks more European, mainly Northern Europe. I especially noticed that I'm surrounded by rock walls and that there's a river flowing through.

I looked at my clothes to see that I'm still wearing my long sleeve white henley shirt and jeans etc….

I know without question that I'm not gonna last long out here without any form of food, water and protection.

So, after a quick rundown on the environment and all the possible resources at my disposal, I went out to find the necessary wood for a fire and even to make a spear so that I can get some fish to eat.

Assembling the wood was tough but I managed after a whole hour, part of which involved trying to find the right branch to use as a spear.

Anyway, I got back to the area I found myself in and assembled the wood to become a fire and then after an arduous and sweat inducing 2 hours which lead to possible sunset, I finally started a fire which can help ward off any wild animals and then I grabbed what is now my fishing spear and stepped into the river and patiently waited to get a fish to eat.

I learned all the different methods of fishing thanks to a teacher who was the closest to a father I ever had, because I unfortunately lost my parents at a young age. Enough about that for now, upon seeing a particular fish that looked big enough to keep me full for the day, I waited for the right moment and when it came, I striked and I nabbed it.

"Yes." I proclaimed to myself in victory. I then walked to the fire and sat down in front of it as I then did the necessary cleaning and prepping of the fish so that it can be safe to eat, I stabbed it with a medium sized branch and placed it at the fire and waited for the fish to be cooked and as it did, the smell of cooking fish came and it was so good.

But right as I finished cooking, my relief and relaxation was taken over by dread because I heard quiet footsteps behind me from an animal and I heard a growl. I froze and prepared myself for the worst possible outcome as I slowly turned around. Once I fully turned around, my eyes widened because what I saw in front of me is something I never thought would exist.

What I laid my eyes on was a pure white dragon. It looked female with blue cat-like eyes and 4 small nubs on the head. There was also a long, thin ridge running down her spine and also triangular tail flukes. I have to admit, she is a stunning creature.

She must be hungry and naturally assumed me as a threat. So, not wanting to deal with a freaking dragon, I slowly stood up and placed my arms up.

"Hey, don't worry. I'm not a threat." I calmly said to her and she lessened on her growling but was still weary of me.

"Look, I don't want to harm you. You're too stunning of a creature for me to even suggest harming you." I stated and me describing her as stunning made her stop and look at me as though she was surprised to hear me give her a compliment.

"Yeah. You look like a perfect dragon in every way and you have really gorgeous eyes." I further complimented and she looked like she was smiling and blinked rapidly like a fashion model. And she was actually purring like a cat. That was just adorable.

"You know, that river has a bunch of fish flowing, you can get some there." I suggested, pointing to the river and she tilted her head as she looked and then walked her way to the river and scooped her snout into the water to eat some fish. I then sat back down in front of the fire and proceeded to eat the fish which tasted really good and eating it took 10 minutes and the dragon decided to rest near me by the fire so that it can be warm.

After I ate the fish, I noticed that it was just about nighttime and so I had to go to sleep. I looked around and saw a spot where the rock wall provides a form of cover in case it rains and so I made my way to there and curled myself up to try and sleep as I left the dragon by the fireplace.

Shortly afterwards though, the night was cold and so I shivered, wishing I had a blanket but then the most unexpected thing happened: I heard some shuffling and then I felt something cover me and I felt something lay down next to me. I opened my eyes and saw the dragon provide me some cover and she looked right at me with a small smile and another purr.

I decided to do something that will seem very stupid but I decided to stroke the dragon and initially, she seemed hesitant but she eventually accepted my stroking and she purred even more.

"I think we're gonna get along very well." I said to her and she made a noise as though she agreed with me. And then we both dozed off, not knowing that we'll end up living a life that one would dream of.

Should let you know that this will be an AU fanfic that starts before Race to the Edge and will end with How to Train Your Dragon 2. That film will act as the conclusion to the whole HTTYD series. And this change will include that the Light Fury they encounter in The Hidden World is the dragon Stellen encounters.
