I write mainly GW fics, though I have been tinkering with various other genres.I am strongly pro 1xR though I occasionally write about my favourite alt. couple which 1xN.And I am STRONGLY anti-yaoi.I don't care how you write it,for most shows yaoi fics cannot be justified in any way.If you think you can without flaming or being insulting let me know.And not the usual 'it's cause I like it'. Recently Recommended manga series. Zero In - not very well known probably due to the length between scanlations, but it's the first manga in some time I sat down and read in one sitting. All 53 chapters. Very good story mixed in with likeable characters. And for me the biggest draw was it's lack of magic, magic swords, mecha or any combo of the three. Green Boy - another less known manga series about boxing. If you're not into technical details and heavy reading this won't be for you. Area no Kishi - another sports manga, this time about football (not American...blargh). Less technical than Green Boy but still some heavy reading in some chapters. The anime is also surprisingly staying true to the manga (not the twelve episodes crap) Spice and Wolf - subtle romance at it's best. Very good if you like your heroines to be a bit of a smartass. |
