Revenant Pov:

"Still can't believe I was asked a favor to help Zed out with the game. Sure one of the players got injured during practice as well needed a swap, but there were tons of people that could have taken the spot. But, seeing how I'm a former member of the team as well knew the plans and moves. I had no choice, plus after I gave Wynter my football shirt. She seriously got excited, as well hugged me till I had color. So I think it turned out alright, for now? I'm just going try and get to school as well try and not think about the possible outcomes that can happen out of this 'Fall Ball' I'm helping out with."

The Big House-Morning

It was a bright morning at the base of Sentinels, Seabrook's personal security force that handles the strange as well unnatural things that happen in town. As well the only place to hold that of 'unique' individuals that don't exactly coop well with humans and believe it should remain the old ways. In one of the rooms was Revenant, who was just waking up along feeling fuzzy from the game.

"Great. One of the things I don't miss, football concussions."

The zombie spoke out as well shaking his head from the people he knocked down to the ground. Left with a shaking in his head, getting up from his bed he turned on the lights to see his room. Which had gotten many things from both school, his friends and family. Along several pieces from his misadventures and meetings with monsters that weren't so 'friendly'.

Spoke from his computer in which got a Rev a bit awaken, as the computer voice was quite loud and made him jump. As the voice repeated multiple times, the zombie boy quickly got himself to have some normal clothing on and brushing his teeth. Walking over to the screen he quickly turns his computer on, which showed his adopted parents.

"Hi honey!"

Shouted through the monitor was his mother, Susan Jones in which made him shutter seeing how he had the volume up. The tired zombie merely waved to them as well removing the tooth brush he had in his mouth.

"Hi guys, sorry for not responding. Seabrook is still busy as ever if you've read from Sentinel messages Brit sends you."

Rev greeting them as well how whenever something happens, Brit would send them a file or message about the incident. In which the two would see if there was a solution to that problem, along offered assistance whenever it was solved. Mathew, nodded as well was caught up with the messages.

"Don't worry, we all have our jobs. We just wanted to talk to you about something fascinating."

His adopted father telling Revenant in which had the zombie boy curious. Grabbing a chair as well noticing a weather chart, which showed the area of Seabrook.

"When we're watching the game yesterday, also great performance. We both checked up on the weather, along how it was perfect. No clouds, no chance of rain or anything. Along the temperature."

Susan explaining as the zombie was listening seeing how the weather seemed alright yesterday. In which he continued to listen as his parents showed him the weather from last week, as it was getting cold along the wind was blowing.

"Now for some of the folks doesn't seem like a big deal, but this all started yesterday. After your game, we don't know what it means yet. But we want you to give you the heads up. Watch your head out there."

Mathew finishing as apparently a normal game that he had participated had much more detail than he expected. Revenant was still confused by that, but merely shrugged of how he would keep a eye on it.

Revenant making a quick goodbye as the two did so, the monitor shuts off along of him getting his gear on and bag. Heading out of his room, he noticed above him was Night wing. Who was doing reading, which involved that of festive balls.

"I see your doing a bit light reading. Though not of a show off since your doing it upside down."

He spoke as Night wing was continuing his reading. To which the fruitpire quickly descended from the ceiling as well landed right by his side.

"Well seeing how we're both participating in this ball, I should give some Addison's tips on how to do this. Especially when it involves how a ball should have masks, dresses and classic music."

The fruitpire listing several things that was needed if Addison wanted to have the Fall Ball be spectacular. Rev, chuckled at how Night wing was fascinated with the human event in which was amusing.

"If you find it funny that I'm going to be helping her in this, then laugh. Since I've been attending Addison's meetings in secret as Shrimpy, I might show a bit of culture to the school."

Night wing explaining to him how that with a high school that has now multiple species now attending. He could sneak in some history about monster culture as well tell them about the outside world. Rev, thinking about seeing some real history placed in Seabrook would be fascinating, though a bit of a challenge since most humans are skittish about the supernatural.

"Well let's just get pass the fall ball to start up that plan. Besides, there's another way to get people to focus. 'Shrimpy'."

Rev teasing him as the bat creature merely groans in a annoyed like tone due to how he only charades as the mascot to keep a close eye on him and the others. He didn't expect to be involved in popular activities, as the two were about to head out. Rev's phone was ringing which showed Zed's number which he answers.

"Hey Zed, a bit early for a hello."

He spoke thinking that Zed might want to talk to him about something Addison just came up for the ball, or about the game they had. However, from the muttering on the phone. It was fast like, along that there was a lot commotion coming from the other side of the phone.

"Ok. Slow down, I don't understand."

Responding to what Zed was saying on the phone, in which Night wing noticed the expression on his face. As it quickly changed from relaxed to that of urgency from how the call on the phone was going. Soon enough, he got surprised about what Zed said next.

"It's what? How?"

Asking Zed about something missing, in which Night wing could tell there was a problem that happened at the school. Revenant quickly tried to tell Zed he and Night would be on the way there to see what was going on, he hung up as well looked at his mentor now turned friend.

"Somethings wrong isn't there."

Night wing questioning him in which the zombie boy did a slight nod about it. To where the fruitpire had to wear some clothing to hide his long ears and to look like a 'regular' being. The two rushed right towards the school to see what exactly was going on.

Seabrook High School-Football Field

At the school there was a lot of commotion and panicking, there had been a incident that happened in the football field. Along how it looked like a hurricane came and tore half the place apart, at the scene was several students along Addison's dad. Plus the principal who was shocked at this, seeing how it was unlike anything she's seen.

"It has to be the rival team! They were jealous on how we won!"

One of the students claiming how from yesterday with the team beating the other team, they had to ransack the place in a jealous manner. As things were getting a bit to much, Lee quickly whistled to the group on calming down about this.

"Please. Will have this solved in a few hours, chief Dale will have his men patrol the area and find clues."

Assuring them how the situation would be handled, however out of the crowd of students who were here. Bucky, walked out along with his crew seeing how there was something else important missing.

"Forget about the football field, what about Shrimpy?! Compared to me and him, we're needed if there's going be school spirit!"

Claiming how while he was the face of the cheer squad, Shrimpy was also the face of the entire school. If that was gone, then he'd be gone as well. Dale, could tell from everyone's expression there was a lot of tension and frustration seeing how Shrimpy was somehow taken during the field thrashing.

"I understand, but we're going figure this out. As well find Shrimpy, for the time being. Just go about your day and leave this to us."

Dale giving them assurance about locating the lost mascot, several of the students headed to class and back inside of the school. The only ones left was Zed and Addison along the rest of the gang who were here. In which both adults knew they had to be involved in this situation somehow.

"Sir, I can tell you it wasn't the piranhas. They left on the bus and didn't come back. Also, Brit made sure no one would ruin the event. As well had her people on it."

Eliza explaining as well walking up to Dale showing recordings of both football teams shaking hands of a good game, as well several Sentinel agents undercover watching the perimeter. Dale, couldn't tell if this was true. But from how the others looked as well his daughter, they may be telling the truth.

"Also we can try and sniff the mascot suit out. It shouldn't be that much of a problem."

Wyatt offering assistance as he and the other wolves would try to figure out where Shrimpy went. Dale, looked at them seeing how they would help out with looking for the mascot suit. Along Lee, to which the two merely nodded towards the group seeing how they could try and help out with the investigation in finding the missing mascot.

"Just be careful honey, with how much's happen. I want to be sure your safe."

Dale telling Addison in which his daughter nodded of how she would be alright, along would find where Shrimpy was. Both adults left to head back to their own business, in which the gang felt a bit skeptic about this strange incident that just happened. Waylon, being with them begun sniffing around the turf to see if he could find a scent.

"Why would anyone want to steal Shrimpy? He's basically the school spirit and always nice when whoever wears it."

Addison questioning about who would do this, along stir up this much confusion and frustration across the school. Waylon, continued to sniff out any type of scent of someone who was here. As they looked at half of the destruction the field had dealt with, they heard some footsteps from behind in which came from both Revenant and Nightwing as they took a look at the place.

"Talk about your rude awakenings. First my parents tell me about strange weather, now this. Anyone got any leads?"

Revenant asking them in which the gang got nothing, seeing how they just happened to noticed this right when they had arrived to the school. Waylon, finishing his sniffing couldn't find anything from someone's scent to any type of footsteps left around the area.

"Not that we can find or sniff out, whoever did this was both fast. As well very angry, anyone that might have a grudge against Seabrook?"

Willa asking both Zed and Addison about the school's history since both of them had much of a knowledge on what's happened here. Along that the numerous school's they've won against in either cheerleading or football games. Both didn't know who could have done it, as well have a reason since the school was friendly to all it's rival schools.

"Whatever happened, it couldn't involve humans. Because the force of what did this damage was inhuman, my opinion? Keep your eyes out. And Inform of anything."

Nightwing informing the gang of keeping their eyes out for anything unusual within the school, giving a confirmed nodded as well agreeing as they return back into the school. As their friends left, only Revenant and Nightwing remained as the zombie took a moment to remove his back to pull out a small box.

"I presume this is the box that I instructed you to make in this type of predicament yes?"

Asking the zombie seeing how after the ghost situation, Revenant was task to make a small kit for himself. To which involved several herbs, spices, as well ingredients that were to be use for unusual cases. Walking over one of the bleachers that got trampled on, he pulled that of some salt and placed it at the spot.

"I didn't exactly spent a whole day gathering different ingredients to make my own mystery kit for no reason. Along that you can help out to since this is your costume. Shrimpy."

Revenant teasing Night wing on how he can help out with this investigation as well, the fruitpire merely rolls his eyes as he begun to check across the grass. Trying to see anything that might have been off, however he was curious about something that Rev brought up when they arrived at the scene.

"Your adoptive parents talked about the weather, what did they say?"

Night wing asked as he felt the grass, from the blades on the ground. They look fresh as well fully grown, it was bizarre since with the fall coming. The cold would have made it stopped, on the other side was Revenant. Who placed a liquid on the salt, in which made a sizzling sound as gas came up from it.

"Just that yesterday was warm, perfect almost. The past weeks cold, but what I got here is interesting. There's a strange footprint, round shape. Like a shoeprint, but very big. Along how that their pressed to the bleachers hard, like if a bear was wearing it."

Making a assumption of what could have done this, along wearing the shoe. Continuing to look on the grass, Night wing walked towards the sight where he left the Shrimpy suit. In which felt the most warmest here, touching the ground made his fur tensed up. Along how that what he and his parents talked about may have connected.

"The reason why I asked, is that some omens. That revolve around the weather, warm weather at the least. Is a sign of harsh troubles, as well warnings of things to come."

Explaining to the zombie about how in some moments of omens that resolve good or bad fortunes. With this sudden weather changing, something could happen that could ruin a special event. Rev remained silent not wanting to argue with him on how ridiculous it sound, though with the strange encounters he's had here in Seabrook. He breathed in looking at the school seeing how if this was happening, then possibly it would affect the Fall Ball his friends were working on.

Inside of the school cafeteria

With the gang finished up their classes, they decided to begin working on some decorations for the Fall Ball that was coming up. Addison along the Z squad had made several decorations in preparation for the event. Several boxes of items were displayed for everyone to start placing up or hosting to the walls, Wynter opened a box which showed that of eyeballs, or grapes that were painted to look like eyeballs.

"Really creepy, but also smell great."

She spoke looking at several of them inside as well putting some in bowls, on the side was Zed placing up some skeletons on the side and making sure they were posed both frightening and in a interesting manner.

"Well at least you have a sweet job, I'm here playing with these bones. So to speak."

Zed speaking out on how he was moving the fake skeletons around making them stand in a good spot, coming through the front doors was Addison and Willa who took a look around the place. In which the cafeteria had become that of a ball room, a rather frightening ball room.

"This look's amazing! With this plus the activities that are going be set up, I know this will help everyone ease their tension from what happened."

She praised of how everything looked ready, along how this could help with the missing mascot. Willa went over to see Waylon, who was making sure that his rock carving was placed in a good area where the people would noticed.

"Look's like somebody is enjoying this. Sure enough I am, but I can see your liking this."

Willa telling Waylon on how he much prefer in remaining with the pack, as well knowing the ways of the wolf. However with him attending the school as well learn several new talents. Waylon could tell from the rock carving which he learned from art class, that him showing his carving to the students felt like a pleasant feeling.

"I'm only doing this for the other wolves to see, as well of how they could do something like this since we have sharp claws."

He responded to her in which made Willa laugh a bit and tapping him on the shoulder seeing how he was just hiding a soft side. As the others continued to work, Eliza got a message from Brit. Seeing how Dale must have informed her about what happened at the football field, she had some ancients try and figure out what happened.

"I just got the photo's from the field. As well had agents check around the outside of Seabrook, no one came in. No footprints, any fur, claw markings or anything that we're used to. Had to happen from the inside."

Eliza reading the text in which had her concern, meaning that someone from inside had to be involved with Shrimpy from inside Seabrook. As everyone was continuing to make the cafeteria into a ball room. They heard a thumping sound, looking over to the door there apparently was someone coming to the cafeteria.

"Addison? Did you call anyone to help out?"

Wyatt asking in which Addison shook her head seeing how everyone else was busy with some other school activities. The doors opened wide open showing a rather shocking sight, in which it was Shrimpy. However there was something different about him, his mouth was opened showing jagged teeth. It's eyes were looking around the place as well breathing heavily like. Along the stones that Addison and Wynter placed on were glowing with a light purple glow.

"Night wing! You found Shrimpy, I knew you'd be able to. Guess you like being the mascot right?"

Zed complimenting him on how he was able to find the suit, however the mascot looked at Zed. As well of the skeleton by his side, walking over. Shrimpy raised the skeleton and threw it against the wall having it shattered to piece. Everyone moved back shocked at the sudden aggression.

"What the heck is wrong you Nightwing?! Or is it Rev."

Eliza shouting at him, in which the mascot suit didn't respond. It was breathing heavily like, as if it was angry. As everyone looked at Shrimpy, Waylon noticed his shoes. It was covered in dirt and grass, the same one that was from outside on the field. Growling in a protective manner, the wolves looked seeing the beta wolf in a protective state.

"Get away from that thing."

He spoke out as he showed his claws at Shrimpy, there seemed to be some confusion as Wyatt decided to look for himself. Walking over and opening Shrimpy's mouth, he sniffed to see no one inside of the costume. Along of noticing how the teeth looked real, as well having a breath.

"Ok, I don't want anyone to freak out but. There's no one in the costume!"

He announced to which Shrimpy pushed him from the side and attacked Waylon, raising him up in the air with amazing strength. He spun him around and hurled him towards a table, moving tail left to right. Shrimpy let out a menacing growl towards the group.

"Then, that means. It's alive, it's alive!"

Zed shouted as the mascot looked around and continued to destroy most of the decorations. Looking around, the group tried to keep him cornered and try to leave. Shrimpy, looked at them as Wynter looked at the stones on his chest.

"Those stone's never glowed like that, not even when I had them outside."

She proclaimed as they never done this before, in which the stones had to be the reason behind this. Making sure to not Shrimpy out of their sight, the living suit looked up at the ceiling. As well leapt up right to it and begun climbing, moving in a fast motion it went right to the doors and ripped it right off the sides. Along letting out another roar before rushing out of the entrance and going to explore the rest of the school.

"Oh no."

Addison said as they rushed out to check out where Shrimpy was head, looking through the hallways. They saw that footmarks as well hands punched through the lockers, and floors as there was a living mascot monster running about in Seabrook. Wynter, bringing out her phone as well calls someone as she places it by her ear. As she was going call help and inform them about what had just happened.

"Hi Rev? We just found Shrimpy, and I think he's coming to meet you."

Sounding nervous about if Revenant and Nightwing meet up with the rampaging mascot, as well if they would be able to stop it time before anyone else notices it.
