Wynter Pov:
"This is bad, this is really, really bad! I didn't know that the stones I got from the cave would make Shrimpy into a raging monster! And that this was my fault, I don't think the others will forgive me for this. Especially Revenant since he has to deal with it, but I know that this can be solved without going out of control. So far it's not exactly hurting anyone, well. He did throw Waylon across the side of the room, but he's strong. I just hope Addison and the others have a idea to stop Shrimpy before he destroys the fall ball decorations and try to get out the school and have people notice their favorite mascot turning into a rampaging monster."
Seabrook High School-Hallways
After failing to find a clue outside in the football field, both Revenant and Night wing decided to head back to join the others and see if they noticed something odd. Though as they walked back, the zombie boy was curious about something that bothered him when they were on the field.
"You talked about how warm weather was a bad omen. And things to come, what exactly do you mean."
Revenant question Night wing about the weather he talked about. The fruitpire could tell about how anxious Rev was seeing how with Halloween coming, and the last time with what happened during around the holiday strange things begun coming up. Nodding to his request, Night wing begun to explain it to him.
"While humans believe weather is simply the changing of seasons. Most species such as my own, is that of signs. For spring? A time of peace. Summer, rest. Winter? To stay close to ones you love, and fall. The returning."
He spoke in that of a cryptic manner of what the four seasons meant, it made Revenant confused about it. Along Howard sounded rather ominous, meaning that it didn't sound good for the others as well himself.
"Return, as in what. Something coming back? The vampires? A infernal? What?"
Questioning Night wing on what might possibly come back to bite them in the backside. Night wing didn't know it himself, but it be for the best to keep a eye out for anything. As the zombie was getting annoyed about what could be returning, his phone begun to ring as he went to answer it.
"Hello?"
Asking on the phone as it was Wynter, curious about was going on he listens about what she had to say.
"What's going on?"
Asking her about what was the situation while Night wing, get his ears twitching as he heard something threw the hallways. Walking forward, he didn't notice Revenant looking shocked on what he was listening to.
"What do you mean Shrimpy is going meet up with us?"
Revenant asked her on the other line about how they found Shrimpy, while for Night wing. Continued to hear that of a strange like sound let alone of a thumping, going up and down like if it was a basket ball.
"And it's apparently angry?"
Continuing to ask Wynter about this bizarre call until suddenly, the two heard a crashing sound from the end of the hallway. Having no choice but to hang up, Revenant went to Nightwing as the pair soon heard the growl coming from the hall.
"Ok sensei, got good news and bad news. The first part, we found Shrimpy."
Rev informing Night wing about finding the mascot costume, though that ended with a locker being thrown right at them. The two duck to the side as well saw down the hallway, was that of Shrimpy. Who looked angered as well ready to rip them apart. Which made the two look rather staggered by the sight of the school mascot becoming a monster.
"Bad news, Shrimpy found us."
Finishing the news that he got from Wynter, in which the two prepared for a possible assault. Shrimpy, looking at them with his eyes locked on the two. Let out a menacing roar and rushed at them, Night wing deciding to take the first fight. He was going try and knock off his head, however the large mascot suit avoided his fist as well moved to the side.
"Wait. Shrimpy knows your moves?"
Revenant asking on how as the fruitpire and shrimp began to fight, Shrimpy was able to mimic each of Nightwing's punches and kicks. As the two battled equally, Revenant looked at the broken locker, in which he begun to make it smaller. While for Nightwing, he noticed the rocks on his body.
"Those look like rocks from the wolves den, who put them on him?"
Thinking in his mind about the sudden addition to the suit, let alone how it might be the reason for the sudden awakening. As Shrimpy continued to fight, he did a quick tail strike making Night wing fall to the ground. Opening its mouth as well smelling the inside of the suit, Shrimpy had much been brought to life.
"Hey! Tail boy!"
Revenant shouting at Shrimpy in which it got the suit's attention, turning to the zombie. He saw how the grey zombie had molded the locker into that of a metal ball, throwing it a few times. He gets into a baseball player pose and smiles at him.
"Let's see if your good at catching then flipping."
Asking Shrimpy as he hurls the metal ball towards him, which the momentum of the metal ball made Shrimpy move back. As well fall right through the gymnasium, within the gym was that of Bucky and the rest of his squad doing a practice in which they saw the fallen mascot.
"Shrimpy!"
Bucky cried out as well the others who gathered to him, quickly enough both Revenant and Night wing rushed in to see if Shrimpy was down and out. Though instead of seeing Shrimpy on the ground, they saw the possessed mascot being surrounded by cheerleaders and Bucky who looked at the two.
"Of course Bucky had to be in the gym."
Rev sounding annoyed about how out of all the times someone had to see him in action or handling a unusual case, it had to be Bucky. The cheer captain stood up and looked upset at this assault on the mascot.
"I knew you weren't good, I had my eye on Zed and the others since they could turn in a instant. But you, it's always you."
Beginning to blame Revenant on being dangerous, as usual since he was different from the other zombies. While that was happening, Night wing tried to explain to the other humans about what was going on.
"Can we please knock it off with the zombie aggression? There's a lot more things more frightening than zombies and werewolves. Maybe your smile cause you can get a face freeze at any moment."
Coming up with a comeback for Bucky as both he and Rev begun to possibly argue with each. Though as they did so, the fruitpire wasn't having any luck with the cheer captain's gang.
"Don't even try getting your long nails near Shrimpy!"
One of the cheerleaders talking ill about Nightwing's fingers in which he looked a bit offended by his nails. While that was happening, Shrimpy. Was slowly regaining conscious and looked much more angrier than before.
"Bucky. The times I wanted to really talk with you, was the first day you started that sparkler incident. So I'd advise that we stop before some things get said."
Revenant trying to be reasonable and end it as Bucky merely scuffed at him along not taking his threat lightly. Though soon enough, they heard of a groaning sound as they turned to see Shrimpy shaking his head and looking at everyone. Bucky, relieved of Shrimpy being ok walked over to get him away from the zombie and fruitpire.
"Your back on your feet. Come on, let's get you to principal Lee and tell her what these two did to.."
Talking to the shrimp suit until he noticed something, a strong heat temperature coming off him. As well the stones on him glowing, feeling the breath off him. Bucky soon felt his face dropping at how the lovable mascot he knew was now snarling at him.
"Shrimpy?"
Bucky squeaked at him before the mascot lifted him in the air, the cheer squad screamed in fear and ran out of the gym. While for Revenant and Nightwing, watched the sight as well of the mascot suit scaring Bucky and spinning him around.
"Shouldn't we help him?"
Nightwing asking the zombie seeing how on the look of Rev's face, he was smiling of how Bucky was being messed with by the same mascot that helped him get popular.
"I don't know, Bucky did want Shrimpy found and we did find him. I'm sure they'll be alright."
Rev suggesting that they leave the two alone, in which Bucky was getting dizzy from how Shrimpy was handling him. Trying to keep focus, he looked to the monster pair with a terrified look.
"I'm, sorry, please, help me!"
Saying it one at a time as Bucky was still being spun around by Shrimpy, Rev laughed slightly at the sight and found it enjoyable. While for Nightwing, gave him a stern expression on his face of how he should handle the situation. The zombie groaned at how he was going ruin the mood, to which Rev rushed Shrimpy and pushed him to the sports supplies. Bucky falling, Nightwing caught the cheer captain in his arms.
"I believe the term is 'thank you'. And also to never think so negative of the unknown."
Giving Bucky some advice as the human got out of his arms and began cleaning himself. As the zombie dusted his shoulders from the tackle, he heard a soft like tingling sound.
"Guys, does anyone hear that sound."
Revenant asking them as the three looked where Shrimpy landed, several of the sports equipment begun to move. From that of basketballs, baseballs and other sports equipment. It begun to form a body, as well looked humanoid.
"What, the heck, is that?"
Bucky asking as Shrimpy, looked above him to see the basketball net. Leaping up he ripped it off the hedges and placed it on the body, putting a basketball in the center. It slowly grew eyes and a smile as it stared at the three with a sinister intention.
"Shrimpy just combined sports gear and made it into a living, amalgamation."
Night wing asking as the sports monster went behind his back, pulling out a baseball bat. It pulls out three baseballs from its chest and throws them in the air.
"Let's play ball!"
It cried out as it struck the balls at them, Revenant not taking the chance uses his back as a body shield to protect both Nightwing and Bucky. The collision with the balls and Revenant felt like a punch from Waylon. Shrimpy, snarling at the three made its way out of the gym.
"Go, stop that thing. Bucky? Do me a favor and get people out of the school. And don't, run away by yourself."
Revenant telling the two as Nightwing pushed Bucky forward so he could warn the students about this monster. While for Rev, moved his body as well cracked it a bit seeing how he was angry with the living sports equipment.
"That's some sportsman ship. Come! Let us have some fun, a good old fashion one on one."
It spoke at him as well sounding rather cocky, Revenant. Seeing no one was in here felt his inner zombie coming out. Meaning he could rip this thing apart with no one to see, as well hold nothing back.
Later in the cafeteria
Within the same room that Shrimpy first terrorized, the decorations that the gang had put up begun to come to life. Everyone was dealing with several things that Shrimpy had touched, from fake pumpkins to chairs and even skeletons.
"No, bad Skelly! Settle down!"
Zed telling the reanimated skeleton as it was trying to get out of the cafeteria, along the rest of the items begun causing trouble. From Eliza handling the paper bats that were flying over her, to that of the grape eyeballs that were chasing Wynter.
"Sweet. Walking food."
The werewolf stated as she ate one of the eyeballs, they tasted sweet along causing the other eyeballs to ruin in fear. To which Wynter gave chased after them, the others had much trouble as Waylon had to deal with several brooms whacking him in the head.
"Hey! I'm not that type of dog you whack."
Waylon warning them as he quickly begun to snap each of the brooms in a hostile manner. On the side was Addison who was making sure none of the objects were leaving her sight. Checking the list she had, almost everyone was in the room.
"We got to get everything together. Willa, get the spider net!"
Calling out to Willa as they rushed over to grab the spider net that was hanging above them. Gathering it all, they soon begun getting everything together. The others made sure to bring the possessed items together in one bunch so that none of them escaped.
"Well, that takes care of that. We missing anything?"
Wyatt asking seeing how he placed some toy spiders into the bunch, on the side was Zed. Who was holding a skeleton head and trying to keep it from bouncing off.
"Just Skelly here. If he wasn't just bones and a head, he be quite the football player."
Laughing a bit at how the struggle was fun, in which Zed placed the skull head with the rest of the bunch. They took a moment for as the collection of reanimated items lasted a while since they were all trying to escape.
"Ok. Somebody explain to me on how is Shrimpy moving around like a Frankenstein monster?"
Eliza asking seeing how it was impossible for him to move. In which the others noticed Wynter looking a bit guilty, in which Willa raised a eyebrow at her as she noticed something just before things got out of hand.
"Before Shrimpy left us to handle his 'friends'. There were some rocks on him. Those wouldn't happen to be the rocks you had Wynter."
Asking Wynter in which she remembered about the stones she placed onto Shrimpy, meaning it might be her fault for making the school mascot come to life as well wrecking havoc. Addison, notice Wynter feeling sadden by this as she walked over to support her.
"It was my fault, I wanted to put the stones on Shrimpy. I didn't think he'd come to life, besides. Since you now pointed that out, we know how to stop him. So not everything is all bad."
Addison speaking out for her wolf friend on how while they did start this problem, they now know a solution to get this under control. Which was by removing the stones, soon enough they heard fast footsteps coming. The gang grabbed some broken table legs from the ground ready to defend themselves, however. They soon see that it was Nightwing who looked roughed up from how he possibly met up with Shrimpy.
"Let me guess, you just met the new and improved Shrimpy 2.0 right?"
Waylon asking him on how he looked like he was in a fight, nodding to the beta. He could tell that they all had their fair share in facing off against living inanimate objects.
"Correct, but that's not the problem. Whatever was placed on the suit brought it to life, as well can do the same. But, with a twist."
Explaining to them how the situation became much more serious and life threatening since theres was more than just a walking smashing Shrimpy. In which everyone got curious about what he meant about that.
"Not only does he have this strange ability to bring objects to live, he can. Fuse them into one powerful creature, its a reanimate skill. The only way to avoid is not putting the objects together, and destroy them. One by one."
Nightwing giving them the information on how to keep things to a minimum, however. The teenagers looked a bit nervous about the last part he said, Nightwing. Raised a eyebrow along looked to the side, where the mound of moving objects begun to shake together.
"Should of texted us that part."
Willa stating in which suddenly, the collection of objects erupted. Everyone moved to the ground as well took cover, half of the items that came alive didn't move. In which had them confused, however. They heard of shuffling coming from the spot.
"Guys, I think we may have some trouble here."
Addison telling the group as they all looked at what came out of the pile, standing on two legs. The reanimated creature had that of four arms, his body was connected with spider webs and wooden table and legs. For the head, was the jaw which belonged to a pumpkin and the top half was Skelly.
"Skelly? Is that you?"
Zed sounding concern at how his decorated skeleton had become a bizarre mashup of Halloween decorations. Checking out its body, it smiled at its new look and check out its arms.
"I feel, so alive."
Speaking in a raspy voice along felt strange, coughing a bit. Skelly soon spat out a large ball of mashed up candy at the other door. Everyone looked shocked at this as the living Halloween decoration laughed at the sight.
"Skelly. Don't you even.."
Zed trying to speak stern to him, but soon made a run past them along laughing in a insane manner. The others got up and checked to see it making its way out, the gang had to keep it in the school along find Shrimpy before he makes everything come to life in the school.
Later at the gym
Few minutes pass when Nightwing and Bucky left the room, along of having the gym to himself. Revenant was beating the sports creature left and right across the room, slamming it to the sides as well making sure it stayed down. Getting tossed back, Revenant got back on his feet looking at the creature. As well cracking his knuckles seeing how he was wearing him down.
"Don't tell me your done yet son? We're just ready for round two."
Mocking the zombie as well taking out a football helmet from it's body, placing it over it's head. The living sports equipment got into a tackling position, seeing this as well remembering the times he had been tackled on the ground. Rev decided to handle this differently, getting into a squatting stance. The zombie gestured it to charge.
"I'm ready for you."
Thinking in his mind as the sports creature ran full speed at him, the zombie waited for the collision. Taking the chance, Revenant grabbed both of it's shoulders and dropped to the ground. Using his full strength, he threw him outside of the gym which made him fall into pieces. Still on the ground he looked at the pieces of the sports equipment on the ground not regrouping.
"Tomoe nage, circular throw. Didn't expect that didn't ya?"
Asking the now defeated monster, to which he got up and walked out of the gymnasium to look at the beaten creature. Though as he looked at the basketball, it's eyes looked back at him and rolled away.
"Hey! When your broken up you stay broken!"
Revenant telling the basketball, but was dripped by the other sports equipment that followed the basket ball. Shaking his head, he gets up and hears something above the ceiling in which there was something else coming from behind.
"I'm alive! I'm alive! I'm alive!"
A voice coming from above him in which was a another amalgamation of objects, this time was the decorations from Addison's Fall Ball that had four arms and was climbing on the walls and moving fast. Soon enough the gang met up with him as they were following after Skelly.
"I guess you got to meet Skelly, who's apparently moving like a spider of recently."
Zed informing Revenant about the new skeleton that had just been given a new body, the group soon rushed after the four limbed Skelly as they saw it heading to the entrance of the school. Though they soon see that of Shrimpy who tried to break out, however couldn't due to the doors being locked by principal Lee.
"Bucky coming through? Didn't expect that now Rev?"
Nightwing smiling to Rev in which the zombie grumbled at the fruitpire, however the moment got interrupted by Addison. In which she slowly walked over to both living creatures as she was going try and calm them down.
"Easy there, none of us are going hurt you. We just want to help. Just take a deep breath."
She slowly spoke to Shrimpy seeing how he was the leader, though the shrimp monster lets out another roar in the air. Confused, she soon see's that of sports equipment from the gym moving by Shrimpy and reforming it's body. Zed pulling her back saw the monster trio gathered up together.
"Ain't this fun? A team match, let's see if their up for round two."
The basketball head creature suggesting in which Skelly spat out another candy ball from it's mouth, the gang took cover as the three monsters made a quick getaway making a running down the hallway. Standing up, the others went to see where the three rushed off.
"I guess Shrimpy's made friends. Which is bad right."
Wyatt asking the others which had them nodding, seeing how if Shrimpy could create two monsters out of mere items. Then the entire school could become a army if he found the right objects. More or less make a much bigger monster if given the chance, in which the plan was simple. Find Shrimpy, get the stones off him and make sure the three don't get out of the school.
