Author has written 5 stories for Harry Potter, X-Men, Sailor Moon, Girl Genius, and Card Captor Sakura. So, I went to change this profile a bit. Unfortunately, it was 2am at the time. Imagine when my surprise when I woke up and discovered it made absolutely no sense. Oh well. I'll put something new here eventually. For now: Something Familiar Classic was supposed to be a mixture of absurd humor and a serious, sometimes dark storyline. Instead, it has ice-skating ninja narwhals. Something Familiar is what the above was originally intended to be. It's an 80% reduction in crack and probably has more plot in the first four chapters than Something Familiar Classic does in the whole story. Unheroic is a tale about why completely irresponsible people shouldn't be allowed to have superpowers. They're not heroes, they're not villians, but they happily fuck you up if you piss them off. New Game Plus is a wet fart of a story that never quite got past my cheeks. I had awesome plans for it and keep meaning to work on it, but it never happens. |

First-year students at Hogwarts summon Familiars. While most are harmless, some are things a teen shouldn't be in charge of. Carnivorous flower spirits, armored murder-owls and walking incarnations of fury roam the halls of Hogwarts. This is just as bad of an idea as it sounds. Probably even worse. Our "heroes" might just save the world, assuming they don't destroy it first.

I'd say this is a story about a boy and his Adder, but it's really a story about the Adder and his boy. Some of this will not make sense if you haven't been reading the new version of Something Familiar. I'm definitely not continuing this, unless I get held at spoonpoint. Everyone knows all bets are off when you have a knife-wielding mug-snake threatening you with a spoon.

The original version of Something Familiar. Very heavy on crack, lighter on plot. This is no longer being updated and most of the good stuff will be in the rewrite anyway. I suggest you read that instead, unless you're impatient and really, really want to see an ice-skating ninja narwhal be suplexed into oblivion by a child. Yeah, I wasn't kidding about the crack.

A little over 200 years after an extradimensional invasion, humanity has a lot to cope with. The Outsiders are obviously a problem, but so are the superhumans their arrival created. Used as weapons and tools, they can't leave their walled cities without a sponsor. Our heroes aren't actually heroes, nor are they villains. They're just completely irresponsible.
